The next morning at the burrow, Harry woke up feeling groggy, he got up, and fell to the floor to realize what he thought was a strange dream was real.
"Harry, mate, you alright there?" Ron asked as he got out of bed as well.
Harry stared up from his place on the floor, glaring. "You spend all of your life on hooves then changes shapes. It's still strange for me."
"I could imagine that well if you need help let me know" Ron replies, before grinning.
Harry blew a piece of hair out of his eyes; he scrambled to his feet. He gathered his borrowed clothing, and went into the bathroom to change; at least this part wasn't different. After changing, he went downstairs, to find Molly staring at something asleep on couch.
"Good morning, Mrs. Weasley, how are you?" Harry asked not fully awake.
Molly turned and put a finger to her lips, signally to be quiet before pointing at the sleeping mare on the couch.
Harry looked over and saw his sister curled up on the couch, her muzzle tucked under one wing, her ears and right hind-leg twitching every few seconds.
"Well this is a first, normally; she's the one up before me." Harry whispered to Molly.
Michi stretched her wings and gave a small yawn turning in the couch.
Harry gave a small chuckled while thinking 'I wish had a camera for this bit of blackmail.'
The sudden rush of feet on the stairs and the clamor of voices silenced by yawns every few seconds. Caused the alicorn ambassador to wake slightly frighten, her wings spread looking around trying to detect danger.
Harry just laughed at his sister's reaction. "That was funnier than when Duster and I made our first storm cloud.
Michi snorted before going over to her saddlebags, she hoofed through them until she came out with her brush. "I see nothing funny about waking up by force." She then used her magic start brushing her coat, mane, wings, and tail.
"You're right, Michi; it wasn't funny and i should have warned you about the Weasley house hold." Molly responds with a motherly smile.
Michi shrugged, "Not that much difference between the changes of the guard." She then looked at her brother, "I normally awake with them coming and going off duty."
"I don't know about that." Arthur answered "So Michi what do you want to deal with first after breakfast Diagon alley or the minster?"
"Diagon Alley; I think that in the much lamented absence of our parents, I should be there to witness the stuff that they would be proud to watch, such as Harry getting his wand." Michi answers diplomatically.
The load of red heads all cheered at Michi's choice. When the house finally calmed down Molly asked, "So Michi since you and harry are guest here, you get to pick breakfast what would you like?"
Michi shuffled her hoof, "I am a little too nervous to eat right now, so just fix what you normally would prepare."
Molly gave a nod and started cooking for the family. Arthur asked some questions about Equestria and about herself in general while the kids were talking about Harry's childhood.
Michi and Harry answered all the questions to the best of their abilities.
"We hold the Summer Sun Celebration." Michi answers, "Also we hold another tradition that I do not celebrate at all."
"Oh what is that, if you don't mind me asking?" Percy asked
"The tradition, I do not celebrate is called Nightmare Night, where everypony dresses up and gets candy, they also leaves tribute to a statue of Nightmare Moon." Michi answered
"That sounds much like the Muggles version of Halloween." Arthur spoke "Now I was wondering you also mention your seasons are manipulated by Pegasi?"
"Yes, but would you mind explaining the meaning of your question." Michi answered confused as to the meaning of Arthur's question.
"Well you see the weather and seasons just occur naturally no one controls the weather here." Percy explained.
Michi thought about how to answer. "That might be true here, but not so in Equestria, everything is so controlled by various types of ponies that it would cause mass chaos if the Pegasi suddenly lose their ability to fly."
"Really quite interesting but it's time to eat and that includes you, young lady; I will not have anybody leave this house without a good meal in them." Molly orders the group to the table.
Michi was astonished that somepony would order her to eat, just as Cadence would when she was foal-sitting. "You sounded just like my cousin and old foal-sitter."
Molly just chuckled as she set a plate of pancakes and eggs in front of her. "Well good then. Now eat up the alley is a bit of a mad house this time of the year."
"These almost look like oatcakes." Harry commented as he started to eat.
"Harry, princely does it." Michi cautions, as her brother was starting to show no manners at all.
Harry freezes and places his fork down and had a blush on his face. "Yes Michi." He spoke after he swallowed his food.
Michi waited until Molly was sitting then she began to eat. The meal passed quickly and with only a few mishaps.
Arthur volunteered to Apparate to the leaky caldron with Michi, as they didn't know how the floo network would react with her.
Arthur and Michi appeared in a back room of the pub the noise of the place hurt the pony's ears as she laid them back.
Arthur quickly escorted the pony princess to the entrance of Diagon Alley.
"Next time, I will be able to create a portal to that place." Michi commented
Arthur nodded and pressed the bricks to open the passageway. As the bricks peeled away, Michi saw all the shops lining the street and then she saw the rest of the family waiting for her.
"Michi, this place is so bucking cool, they got everything here, and I don't think there is nothing you couldn't get here.' Harry exclaimed
"Apple Family Cider." Michi retorts, "Or how about Zap Apple Jam."
"Ummm what is a Zap Apple." Ron asked looking a bit confused.
"It's a special apple that only grows in Equestria; the Apple Family has the only orchard that grows them, as opposed to the Everfree Forest, I'm sure there are more trees in there, but no pony goes into that forest without good reason." Michi explained as she hovered in the air.
Harry's stomach gave a growl at the thought of the jam and cider. "MMMM i would love a jug of the cider right now."
"Yeah, that is part of the things that my job is about." Michi sighed, "Now," she used her magic to levitate Harry's supply list to him. "First off, I think we need to go to the bank."
"Right lets be off remember everyone stay close and Fred and George no pranks in the bank please." molly called out as she lead the way to the bank.
Michi flew above the group, since she did not want to be stepped on. The witches and wizards that were alive during the first war that caused people to lose loved ones stared at the pony flying through the air.
One child pointed at Michi as she flew by "Look mama a pegasus."
Michi didn't hear the response as she landed on the steps of the wizarding bank, Gringotts.
Michi trotted up to one of the tellers, the elder goblin stepped up to them. "How may we be of service to you, your Highness?"
"Firstly, I wish to learn the contents of Lily and James Potters' Wills. Secondly, Harry Potter wishes to withdraw from his Trust account." Michi answered
"Very well, if you just follow me, I will pull the files you need and get you settle." He bowed and led her to a back office.
Michi followed the goblin; she assumed what authority she has as a crowned Princess.
A second goblin appeared with a sealed folder and a scroll in his hands." The files you requested sir." He placed them on the table and bowed out of the room.
Michi listened to the reading of both wills; it stated that Harry could not legally assume his title as the head of House Potter until he turned seventeen in the Wizarding world. While Michi could enforce any and all legal proceedings as James' adopted daughter, once she gained her Cutie Mark. As such, her brother would be under her care in the Wizarding world when she gained her Cutie mark.
"Thank you." Michi states, and then levitates a gem from her saddlebag. "For your time and patience."
The goblin smiled and bowed "Thank you, your highness, if there anything else you need please feel free to ask i will be more the happy to help."
"The trust fund vault." Michi reminded
"Yes if you would both follow Griphook here he'll take you down to the vault it will need Prince Harry's key to be opened.
Michi nods, and followed her hooves echoing off the marble floor.
Once they had gotten enough coins, to purchase Harry's supplies.
"I suggest we don't tell just how much is in that vault to our hosts." Michi whispered to her brother. "I'll see what I can do about converting some gems into wizarding coin for them."
"Yeah, that would be good like them, if they were ponies, they might be related to the Apple Family." He whispered back to her.
"That is a scary thought, besides I think half of Ponyville is Apples." Michi replied, "Now, ready for school shopping?"
"You would know better than me you studied pony history more than me, sure let go."
"Had too," Michi comments, before lifting herself into the air, "What's on the list?"
Michi had too threatened Harry when they got to the robe shop.
After a day of shopping, the last item was Harry's wand. Michi had caught her brother staring at the animals in the magical pet shop. She had snuck out of the wand shop when Harry was trying out different wands.
She returned in a manner of seconds, with a snow-white owl. However, she wished she had the ability to talk with animals like that Fluttershy pony did.
Harry came out of the wand shop looking a bit nervously at the wand he had in his hand.
"Hey Harry." Michi called out as her tail was holding the cage.
"Oh hey Michi what's up with the owl on your tail?" He asked looking at the snowbird.
"Well, it seems this Snowy owl needs a good home, and a special colt, I know to look after her." Michi replies
His face lit up in surprise. "Really, she's for me? Thank you, Michi." He exclaims and hugs her knocking her slightly off balance with the force of his hug.
"Hey now, wouldn't want her to be mad at you on the first day." Michi laughed as she tried to keep her balance.
"Sorry I keep forgetting this body a bit heavier than my pony one." He chuckled
They all met back at the pub and had a brief lunch before heading back to the Barrow.
"Once we go back to Equestria over breaks, I'll have Fluttershy; take a look at this owl. Just to be sure, the store clerk told me; she's in good health, but by the looks of that shop, he's been into something, he shouldn't." Michi explains.
Harry nodded and petted the owl once more and set her on the roost Arthur made.
"Well Michi I made an appointment for you to see the Minister tomorrow morning if that's ok with you." Arthur asked.
"Oh thank you. I'm to worn out from shopping, to speak diplomatically." Michi replies, she set about getting her things, copies of former trade agreements, new treaties, and proposals ready, she neatly placed them into her saddlebag. "If you don't mind, I'm going to find a nice fluffy cloud and take a nap."
This statement confuses the Weasley's as she took off and flew up to the clouds and landed on one.
"Alicorns are like a cross between unicorns and pegasi, so we can stand on clouds and not go through it." Harry explained
"Cool imagine what we could do if we could do if we could do that." said one of the twins.
"You would fall through, since you do not have the ability to stay on the clouds," Harry replies, "I can't even get up to the clouds yet."
The twin face fell in disappointment."Oh well there still brooms to fly with."
"Napping up here, could you keep it down." Michi called out, her tail could be seen hanging from a cloud.
The rest went inside and settled to a quite night at the barrow.
