I looked up at the ceiling for a couple seconds before realizing this wasn't my house. My heart sped up quickly in seconds as I tried figuring out where I was. The memories of the past day jumbled further alarmed me.

I heard thumping above further raising my fear about what was happening. I felt my eyes burn as I prepared for the threat only to see Maddy.

Maddy gave me a worried look"what happened Quinn!?"

I looked around finally realizing that I was in Maddy's house. I looked away in embarrassment"I forgot where I was so I panicked"

I looked back at Maddy only to hear a giggle then loud laughter"You're so paranoid about everything even though you're a wolfblood"

I let out a growl instinctively only to look suprised that I did it"What's happening to me!?" I yelled out in frustration.

Maddy looked at me with a grin"Welcome to the life of a wolfblood"

I looked at her and gave her a playful hit on the shoulder"Like you haven't had your meltdowns either in the past.

She threw a playful fist to my shoulder only to end up hitting air due to my reflexes and she let out a sigh"Your so lucky to be born with good reflexes"

Maddy's dad came into view with plates of entrancing food accompanying him"does anyone want some eggcelent food?"

I let out a laugh and sat down for breakfast with my eyes wondering around the room. My eye spotted an old looking owl on the top of the refrigerator.

Something seemed off about it and I let the familiar tingle on my eyes return as I observed it closely.

The eyes of the owl seemed to be implemented by another person. I went over to it arousing the questionable gazes of the others.

I grabbed the owl and observed it only to find eyes looking like cameras. I looked over to Maddy and her parents"Who did you get this from?"

Maddy looked at me"I got it from Shannon why?" she said confused.

I let out a sigh obviously feeling bad"I didn't know an owl had small camera lenses as eyes" I said edging the owl into view.

I looked over to Maddy who let out a growl. I made my way over to her only to get a shove of anger.

"Why would Shannon do this though?" I asked Daniel who was disrupted from his trance.

He looked over to me"Shannon has always been interested in wolves since she was a little girl. However, I didn't think she would go this far"

I looked over at the time and made my to Maddy's room. I gave a light knock"Maddy we have to get going to school soon"

There was no response for a couple seconds before I heard a sniffle"I'll meet you at school alright?" Maddy said.

"Alright then see you there" I said before leaving to school.

I took a detour from the main road into the woods admiring the scenery and the inhabitants dwelling within.

I ran through the woods jumping and rolling around occasionally embracing the wild until I got to the edge of the woods.

I let out a sigh and exited the woods.

I made my way into class watching Jimi and his crew shoving themselves into the room to cause further chaos before Mr.Jeffries came.

I looked over to Tom and Shannon and urged them to come over.

"I'm telling you right now so you can be prepared but you are going to feel Maddy's wrath soon" I said arousing confusion from them.

"From what though?" Shannon asked confused.

I looked at Shannon and shook my head"One word, owl" I said making Shannon and Tom tense up.

I looked back at Jimi's attempt to hide his bullying Hilarious until I saw a flash of short brown.

Maddy walked over to Shannon and Tom and whispered something to the both of them making them freeze up in their tracks.

I lowered my voice enough for maddy to hear"Don't lecture them too much ye?" I suggested.

I watched as Shannon's and Tom's heart beart became rapid. Maddy's anger rised as she started talking about a laptop containing videos of her.

"If you don't delete those videos you are not part of the park anymore" Maddy hissed through her teeth.

Shannon gave a bewildered look"But I have to show that wolfblood aren't a danger to society"

Maddy glared at shannon veins making their way up her neck"If ye don't delete those videos my parents will chase you up the moors and down" she said.

I panicked as Maddy's veins made it up her face. I emitted a low growl"Maddy settle down your veins are becoming noticeable" I whispered.

Maddy became alarmed and began to claim down quickly looking around occasionally to see if anyone had captured the moment.

At that very moment Mr.Jeffries made his way in"alright settle down we have a new a student" he said edged a young girl with red hair into view.

Rhydian came in slowly with a sigh. A smell entered my nose, a wolfblood smell. I traced to the new girl and let out a small growl.

She seemed to catch my inaudible growl and returned it right back at me. I stood there shocked on how public she was and it was dangerous.

I glared at Jana and why she would enter this school with her anger not checked on.

She sat down anger vibrating seemingly targeted towards yours truly.

I focused my attention on the lesson only to quickly lose focus and sneak in a look or two at Jana.

Mr.Jeffries then put his marker down and started to pass out papers"alright settle down we are doing partner work right now so group up" he said and made his way back down to his chair.

I looked at Maddy and she responded with a nod obviously not in the mood to partner up with anyone else.

I moved my desk towards her and wrote my name on the paper.

"Why did Rhydian bring Jana into school when she isn't capable of controlling her wolf let alone her studies" Maddy whispered.

I looked at Maddy obviously conflicted on what side to go on"I really don't know why she's here at the moment but we need to keep an eye on her at all times"

Maddy gave out a nod and we got back to work. Halfway through the lab I looked through the instructions.

I froze when the instructions mentioned using a flame to light the chemicals. I cursed under my mouth and Maddy noticed my distress.

"Quinn did something happen?" she questioned. I pointed to the instructions and she let out a giggle"Small flames aren't enough to trigger out wolfblood symptoms but enough to scare us"

I let out a sign of relief and turned on the lighter. My eyes burned instantly as the veins made it up my neck in nearly a second.

I looked at Maddy in complete fear with herself completely frozen. I stood up and ran outside the room into the hallway.

I ran through the hallway into the boy's bathroom out of breath. I sniffed finding the bathroom vacant and ran into one of the stalls and closed it.

"Why is this happening to me! Not getting symptoms as often my ass!" I yelled frustrated. I took deep breaths and began to calm down until I heard the door open.

"Quinn are you ok right now?" I heard Rhydian say worried.

I let out a small laugh"Yeah because I'm not supposed to get wolfblood symptoms as often and as soon as I see one little flame I become more dangerous than Jana!" I yelled.

I opened the stall and walked out and faced rhydian. I looked at my arms and saw the black in them gradually recede giving me a sense of relief.

"Rhydian I don't know why this is happening but please think about why you brought Jana to school without proper control" I said and exited the bathroom.

I entered the classroom to a enraged Jeffries"You! you're coming to the principal's office with me right now mister" He grabbed my arms and pulled me.

"Mr.Jeffries I would appreciate if you would stop crushing my arm and let go" I said annoyed.

He let go and apologized as he led me into a room. I looked back at him only to see him walking away.

I cursed to myself as I look to the principal in front of me"I see you've left your class regardless of your teacher's warnings" he said disappoint evident.

He looked back at me confused"The question is why would you leave in the middle of a lab?"

I became nervous and revealing what I was through my nervousness was out of the window.

"Are you going to tell me or not?" He said impatient. I felt a tingle on my arm slowly rising up and let a small gasp.

"Are you actually joking around at a time like this!? Tell me why you left the class and you'll only get a detention!" he yelled.

I took a deep breath with my veins reaching the top of my shoulder"I was in the lab when I felt the urge to vomit, so I left the class to not embarrass myself and my partner" I said ashamed.

He nodded and let me go with a pass back to class and a detention slip accompanying me.

I walked into class suprised to see everyone packing up from the lab. The gang walked over quickly curious to know what had transpired"We'll talk about it later" I said in a annoyed mood and walked out to lunch.

I reached the basketball courts outside the school and saw the familiar forest always went to.

I smiled and ran into the woods wolfblood instincts at their peak at that moment. I let my eyes burn allowing my eyesight and speed to increase considerably.

I looked at a tree and layed down next to it admiring the leaves blowing in the wind and the sounds of animals.

Then a rustle was heard about ten feet from me. I took a whiff of it and sure enough it was the crew.

I let out a low growl having my space occupied at such a calming moment.

Maddy edged into view with the others but she sat next to me"What happened?" she asked curious.

I shot her a look"Not like you should care, you helped Rhydian not wolf out during his fiasco and I had to deal with it. I damn near exposed myself" I yelled angry.

She looked at me sympathetic"Look im sorry Quinn, we had a problem of our own" she said glaring at Jana.

I shot a glare at Jana mood obviously in smithereens from the previous hours"Jana if you're going to continue to be a little asshole in front of those that only give you a slight inconvenience than this lifestyle isn't suited for you" I hissed.

She looked at me enraged black veins initializing the yellow in her eyes"I'll kill you I'll kill you she yelled" she yelled shifting and jumping towards me.

"Bring it on then you little bitch i'm not afraid to die!" I yelled feeling my eyes burn.
