Michi stood in front of a writing podium, writing multiple invitations to an informal meeting between herself and the professors of Hogwarts, she had thought about this for a few days, and it occurred to her that it was rude of her not meet each of the professors, and the gamekeeper as well, she found herself disgraced in her own mind by not thinking of this before hoof. She finished her invites when she heard timid knock at her door, she placed the quill back into its holder and went to the door, unlike the other places in here, she didn't have a painting as a door. She opened to find Hermione.
"Ms. Michi, may I come in."
"of course." Michi answers, as she stepped aside to allow the human filly inside her common room.
"Thank you, I know its late but i was wondering if you could clear something up for me?" Hermione asks, "I heard Harry mention something about you're trying to mix magics?"
Michi tilted her head, "Yes, it was theory of mine."
Don't you think it might be hazardous mixing such things especially since Harry is so young?" Hermione asked as she looked around the room see many of the paintings from the land Equestria.
"Don't you think with what happened to our parents that Harry shouldn't learn to harness his full gift of magic?" Michi questions, "I am under the belief that Nightmare Night was just round one, the dark wizard who murdered our parents will return and it will be Harry, who will have to fight him. So why not combine powers?"
Michi went and sat down on a couch, and tapped the place beside her, with her hoof.
Hermione joined her thinking about what Michi said. "I can see what you mean by that but Harry's just a kid like me don't you think its to soon to be trying something like that?" The young girl's voice was soft given as was talking back to a princess.
"I admit its a lot to try but Harry wouldn't have been born an alicorn, if he wasn't up to the challenge. I was just suggesting mixing magics, not that he try in his first year of learning human magic." Michi replies, she wasn't trying to be an Ambassador right now, she was just a big sister, trying to protect her brother as best as she knew how to teach him to use his power.
"You do know the simple fact that Harry's a boy, he will try it anyway as he learned his first human magic spell if not sooner. "" Hermione pointed out.
"He also knows not to push his limits with me, he has learned that seeing as of right now, I am his guardian." Michi replies "Which means, I have authority to take him back to Equestria. He puts one hoof out of line."
Hermione chuckles " You sound like he tried something like this before."
"He has tried and he has seen the older sister's wrath." Michi replies, "And do not ask me how a pony and a human can have children, because I do not know."
" I wouldn't ask that's was between your parents but i would love to learn more about unicorn magic or just more of your world."
"As a Princess of Equestria, I know a lot about my Kingdom." Michi replies, "what do you want to know?"
"Anything you want to tell me the history first please. Then maybe about the rulers?"
Michi grinned, "The rulers are my aunts by adoption, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. To know their history it goes back eons before Canterlot was founded."
Hermione looked so confused. "Before the founding of Canterlot, how old are they?"
"I'm not sure, they could be in the thousands, Luna was technically reborn, but she's growing faster then I am."
"Th-th-thousands of years but how?"
"Alicorns are practically immortal. We have unicorn magic, the flight of a pegasi and then there is a different magic that only Alicorns use." Michi replies, "I could live for a thousand years or more, Granny Smith was just a young mare when she and her family settled Ponyville and Celestia was young then and still is now."
"Oh my, that could be a long alone. "
Michi didn't think of it that way, she then recited the tale of Nightmare Moon.
Hermione sniffed as she heard the story. "That is so sad, I feel sorry for the princess. "
"But that is in the past, Luna was returned to her normal self and has retaken her role as the Princess of the Night." Michi states
"Still a thousand years on the moon must have been so lonely but anyway that was fixed but Harry did say one more thing the elements?"
"He was referring to the Elements of Harmony, which are like gems with great power, they are Honesty, Generosity, Laughter, Loyalty, Kindness, and Magic." Michi replies, "They also represent the elements of true friendship."
"What a strange bit of magic."
"I agree, but they are powerful, I wouldn't want to be on the other end of those gems." Michi agrees, "Which is why, I feel no resentment toward Harry for his duel magic, and he feels no resentment toward me, I try to be the best sister, I can be."
"I'm an only child, so i don't know about stuff like that. But enough about that tell me about the girl named Duster, Harry kept muttering about?"
Michi smiled. "Duster is a Pegasi filly, she was his friend, but moved to Ponyville a few years ago due to unforeseen problems within her own family. Equestria is a peaceful place but we do have our fair share of problems with daily life."
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that but it must be really rare unlike her it seems but the way he was saying her name, she seems more."
"Yes, I believe he just has a crush, I thought about seeing if Cadence can pinpoint where my own heart lays with a stallion, I don't know a thing about crushes." Michi responds
"Oh well, you're still young, we all are."
"My choices are limited to that area, I could agree to an arrangement but I rather not." Michi states
Hermione made a sour face at those words. "So barbaric please tell me that's not the normal practice in your world?"
"Why is an arrange marriage a barbaric act? If it saves Equestria a war or worse, then I will but I want to be in love first." Michi states "I'm a Royal no matter what I may think otherwise."
"Still i can't help but feel but its rotten thing to do a person."
"Many of your pure Wizarding classmates will go to arrangements, which is wrong in my eyes, seeing as that is inbreeding in the highest terms, I believe all the so called pure families are related in some fashion." Michi replies
"Eww now thats even grosser." Hermione commented her expression soured even more.
"Sorry, but its the truth." Michi asks before she looked at her clock, "I will escort you back to your House, so you don't end up in trouble."
Hermione saw what time it was. "Oh my, I'm sorry, Ms. Michi. i didn't mean to take up so much of your time."
"Its no problem, I did tell you, that I will answer your questions, when I have time. And just so happens, I had the time." Michi replies as she got down from the couch and waited until Hermione stood as well.
The alicorn mare escorted the human girl back to her House, before heading back down stairs to her own room, she put her supplies away and went to sleep.
