The next morning everyone was in the great hall for breakfast Harry came down looking about as sleepy as if he was still at the palace while the others just seemed to give him weird looks.

Michi quickly leapt over the table, and shielded her brother in a magical shield. "What in the name of Celestia and Luna. Have you lost your mind?"

"Um what do you mean Michi?" Harry asked in a groggy voice. He then looks down at himself. "Horseapples, i forgot to change again." He looks around in a panic trying to remember how to teleport.

"Calm down, no one can see you through the shield, now that the dragon is out of the lair." She plopped down on her haunches, and stared at her brother, as the shield kept them from view, "What do you want to do, let them know you're a half-alicorn?"

Harry calms down and takes a deep breath "Might as well if this happens again but if that Malfoy colt start up with me again I'll buck him so hard you would think apples might fall." He looked anger at that.

"And if you do that, you would have caused an international incident, that I have to clean up." Michi responds

"Yes Michi we are representatives of Equestria we must act as such." Harry looks to her "Sorry I shouldn't let my feelings get the better of me. "

Michi raised her hoof and gently brush her brother's mane, "If you feel the need to vent, come to me and we will go somewhere so you can talk through your feelings, some place where only pegasi can go."

"That sounds great." Harry looks at the shield then fixes his mane and feathers "Well can't spend all day here time to face the music."

Michi nods, and lowers the shield, "What never seen an alicorn colt before?"

Most of the hall shook their heads no while most of the table of the Slytherin began to whisper to each other, The Malfoy colt seems to be the start.

"Hello everyone good to see you all this morning. " Harry greets with a wave of his hoof giving the royal smile, Michi could tell he was nervous.

"My mother was Lily Potter, in our world she was known as Lily Flower, niece of Princess Celestia, she came to this world as a student and ambassador of our race, she also fell in love with a human and defied the laws of nature itself, gave birth to a rare creature, a half-alicorn/human."

Everyone nods in understanding thou most of the Slytherins began to sneer and pass comments to each other. Harry looked ready to bolt but stood where he was.

"If my House will not shut their useless mouths, I will take away all points!" Snape exclaims standing up, and pressing his hands on the staff table.

The table quickly stopped and paid attention to Michi.

Michi stared at Severus Snape will wide eyes, was he on her side? "But anyway, my brother is a student here, and someday will learn to control his shifting forms."

"Yes so just treat this as an accident so lets eat and start our day plus i need to get ready once more." Harry jokes trying to lighten the mood.

Michi turned and stared at Harry, "Only you would make jokes."

"Element of harmony, and it seems the right thing to do right now." He just smiles at her.

"Leave the Laughter to Pinkie Pie." Michi states

Just then the food appears on tables and the students begin eat.

Michi trotted back to the staff table, and taken her seat back.

Once the meal was over the heads of house began to pass out the new time tables for all the students. Harry looks over his schedule and then goes over to Michi to show her as well.

Michi took the list and read over it, "Yes, most of this is the same as in Equestria, but some branches of magic are different, potion making is useful, as is transfiguration."

"Yeah i wonder if its like how the zebra do it and transfiguration might be fun as well."

"I'm not sure, since the zebra come from a different part of our world." Michi answers, she memorized Harry's classes, and then gave back the list.

"Well then i need to get back to the dorm and get dress properly."

"Please." Michi states she hopped down from her chair and trotted out and headed toward one place where anypony could find her, the library.

Throughout the day as she read the books on history and magical theory, various students and staff asking different questions and just getting to know her.

Michi walked along the halls, at one with them and yet at the same time, apart. She was not a student, but she was learning at the same time, she didn't know why, but she felt at home here, she made her way to the medical wing, she giggled at the name. Just as she entered, a voice calls out. "Just have a seat, I'll be out in a second."

Michi shrugged and sat down on her haunches, she didn't need anything, but she had a feeling this medi-witch was the one who aided in her mother give birth.

A minute later, Madame Pomfrey walks out hold a tray with some vials on it." Now what seem to be the matter, the twins started early on their pranks."

"Nothing is wrong with me." Michi states "I just have this strange feeling, you seen me after my arrival thirteen years ago."

Pomfrey look at her "Oh my stars and garters, I don't believe my eyes, Michi, is that you?"

"Yes, as you can see fully grown, well almost." Michi states

She walks right over and hugs the pony "I'm so glad to see you after that awful night i was worried to death about what became of you and your brother."

"Went back to my mother's homeland, with untrained magic assistance." Michi answers, as she returned the hug.

"Oh my indeed well I'm glad your back and i assume your brother is here as well."

Michi nods, "Yes, he is. So don't worry about seeing a stray colt running around, he's just having control issues."

She just chuckles "Sound like his father already took him nearly a year till he could not have an accident in potions before he got control."

"Yeah." Michi sighed as she looked at her hooves, "Well I have some work to do."

"Of course, dear, feel free to come by anytime I'm always here " Pomfrey add with a motherly smile and a wave goodbye.

Michi fled before the emotion of threaten to over take her, she was a princess and was taught how to hide her emotions behind a serene mask of politeness.

During lunch, Michi sat eating, her veggie sandwich, just thinking about home and what Twilight and her friends were up to right now, she wondered what was happening back in Canterlot, when her horn started to glow, as signal for incoming mail from Celestia.

Two scrolls appear before her one with the royal seal and one with a plain wax seal.

Michi stood up, and allowed her magic to take hold of the letters, and went to the courtyard, since it was the first week end of being here, and her brother was just hanging out with new friends, while she was busy attending to matters of the Kingdom and her role as ambassador but she was taking the day off, which Minister Fudge agreed with seeing as she wasn't needed at the Ministry for anything.

Michi opens the first letter up and read it, it was from Celestia.

My dearest niece,

I have been reading in the Archives for a time, since my duties in the evenings have been taken by Luna's return, I have come across a rare piece of magic that may be of interest to you, I do not know if this would work, however it should allow the dragon Spike and the new dragon: Emerald to send letters back between the 'Wizarding World' and Equestria. So your friends will be able to write to you, if it works this spell would allow us to send letters without wearing down our own magical reserves. The next letter, is from Harry's friend Duster, she begged Spike to send this to you via me.

Your Aunt,

Celestia.

Michi looks the spell over and sees what she has to do for the spell.

"It seems simple enough, but I am hardly Twilight will it comes to preforming such feats of magic." Michi commented as she read the spell.

Albus heard this and asked "What spell are you speaking of, Michi?"

Michi spun around clearly frighten, she looked at the aged wizard, "For someone who is at your age, you do know how to sneak up on a pony."

"My you certainly know how to make an old man feel young.' He teased "Now what was the problem of a spell?"

"There was no problem, I'm just not Twilight Sparkle when it comes to preforming magic, her special talent is magic after all." Mich responds,

"Ahh i see and what is the purpose of this spell, her highness sent you?"

"What does it matter to you?" Michi questions "What the Princess of the Day sends to her ambassador is completely within Her Right."

Dumbledore steps back "I meant no disrespect I was merely curious that's all Michi."

"It matters not to you, but if you want to know it's a rare piece of magic from the Canterlot Archives." Michi states

"Oh very interesting I hope to see it's cast when ever your ready." With that he turns and walks back back into the castle.

"Next time, I read letters do so on a cloud." Michi muttered as she went back into the castle herself and to her room.

At the same time Harry enters the great hall to eat and was talking to both Ron and Hermione, well trying to talk to them as Hermione kept asking Harry questions.

"Go ask my sister!" Harry exclaims, "I don't know the answers!"

"Sorry, Harry, I'm just very curious." Hermione replies, "even, you to admit so to being curious, right Ronald? before walking off.

Harry watched the strange girl go but he couldn't help it, he was just wanting to eat lunch.

Michi was in her room, reading Duster's letter, she was surprised that Pegasus filly even wrote to her. She placed the letter down and thought about what Duster asked her.

When she heard a knock on her open door, it was Hermione.

"Hi Hermione." Michi greets

Hermione walks in looking upset. "Hello Ms. Michi."

"You look like somepony told you the Wonderbolts show tickets were sold out." Michi commented "What's wrong?" she didn't know why, but she felt some sisterly affection for the young human filly.

"Its nothing just i was hoping coming to this school might change somethings but i see now it's still the same."

"What in Celestia's name are you talking about, Hermione?" Michi questions as she walked over and used her wing to direct the girl to the sofa.

"Oh the other students all ignore me because I want to study and actually learn."

"Then I just have to figure out someway to introduce you to Twilight, you and her would up fast friends!" Michi exclaims, excitedly

"Really you think she'll be my friend?" She looks up hopeful. "That would be nice, but i really would like to make some friends here as well."

"If I can keep your muzzles out of a book long to even talk it would be a miracle." Michi states, she paced around her room, thinking. She stopped and smiled at Hermione, "You just made me want to test the spell that Celestia sent me."

She snapped up looking as if Christmas came early" really i get to see you cast an equestrian spell?"

"Only way to make friends, is to give it time. Someponies might not like you for being smart, but others will see that it is your best quality. I can tell you one thing, my dear. You have a very special friend on hooves in front of you." Michi responds, she used her wing to lift Hermione's chin up. "Never forget that."

Emerald came walking out, yawning. "what about magic?"

Hermione eeps at the sight of the young drake "Michi, there's a dragon in your room." She dove behind the mare.

"Yes?" Michi questions "What's wrong with a baby dragon?"

"B-b-b-but they're dangerous and wild, they're a five x beast in fantastic beast and where to find them."

"Does your type of dragons talk?" Emerald questions, looking upset.

"Umm no as far as I read." She squeaks out.

"Hermione, this is Emerald, she was brought here from Equestria by my mother as an egg." Michi explains, "She's not wild or dangerous."

"And I'm also adorable." Emerald agrees, as she looked toward Michi.

"Umm Hello."

"Emerald, I have something to try on you that will allow you to send letters to Equestria, via your magical fire breath." Michi states

"Sure Michi, so long as it don't hurt or change my lovely scales."

"Magic doesn't hurt, unless I use combat magic." Michi states, "But I believe Dumbledore wanted to see my use of Equestrian magic as well."

"Shall i get him for you?" Emerald asked.

"Please." Michi responds

Emerald goes out the room to find Dumbledore and bring him to the common room.

While Emerald was away, Michi went and read the spell again. A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door and Emerald's voice "Michi, I'm back and i got Dumbledore with me."

"You can open the door, silly dragon." Michi answers

"Hagrid always told me to knock." as the two walk in to the common room.

"Polite." Michi commented, before nodding toward the sofa where Hermione sat, "Have a seat, Professor Dumbledore."

"Thank you Michi, Ms. Granger so good to see you as well."

"Forgive my use of Equestrian terminology but both of you expressed desire to see Equestrian magic first hoof." Michi states, "So I decided to use the spell that Princess Celestia sent me as a demonstration."

Dumbledore just had a pleased smile on him, while Hermione was bouncing in her sit.

"Unlike your magic I do not have to recite the spell aloud." Michi states, as she looked to Emerald who was standing away from the headmaster and the lion student. Michi's horn began to glow with magic, as she cast the rare magic.

The spell hits the dragoness and she begins to glow as the spell focus on her mouth.

Michi ended the spell, and licked her hoof and wiped her horn to cool it off.

"Well did it work?" Emerald asked as the glow faded.

"One way to find out." Michi responds as she went and wrote a simple note to Twilight, "Twilight, I know you might have already cast the spell on Spike, so let's see if it works." she rolled up the parchment and gave it to Emerald. "You know what to do with this part."

Emerald took the letter and blew a small flame and burned the letter up.

Michi sat and waited, until Emerald burped and a cloud of smoke and fire materialized into a letter. Knowing Twilight, it was more of a epic then a letter.

Emerald smiled and gave a small cough" Well i guess it work."

"Yep." Michi agreed before her own excitement got the better of her, she pranced around the room, nearly shouting "It worked."

"Well it seems that passing letters now will be a bit easier for you." Dumbledore stood and fixed his robe "As much as i would like to talk more a headmaster's job is never done."

"Neither is mine." Michi replies, "Besides I got a letter to write to a Pegasus filly."

The two humans leave the room and let Michi get back to work.

She went and started writing the letter, "Dear Duster."
