Dear Twilight,
A lot of things, have happened since our last few letters, now would be the slowest time for me as Ambassador of Equestria, first is that during October, (which is strange cause we basically have the same months but different names for Holidays.) Harry made the Quidditch team which is flown on brooms, yes, Rainbow Dash, I am trying to see of I can covert to play on the wing. But Hermione, has finally made friends, in Harry and Ron, who could have known that their friendship would have brought on by a troll. I think this break, I will see if Hermione would like to meet muzzle to muzzle. I fear that danger is approaching the school in the form of the one who killed my mother and stepfather. But enough on this bleak stuff, I will pass on the silly application that Apple Bloom sent for Harry to fill out to a part-time Cutie Mark Crusader. Every task, he takes, I see him switching back and forth checking his flank, to see if he earned his Cutie Mark. I pray that he earns it soon, I don't think I can handle the nights, where he spends in my room crying over the fact he won't ever earn his Cutie Mark.
Michi finished her letter, and rolled it up and passed it to Emerald.
Emerald sent the letter off just as there was a knock on her door.
Harry stuck his head in just as Ron said hurry up and ask her.
"Just give me a minute, Ron, she might be busy you know and i have to wait.
"Depends on what you mean by busy?" Michi questions, as she used her magic to open the door fully and allowed the two fall into her room in a heap of body parts.
'Well doing Ambassador stuff, and Ron get off me."
"I have to wait for Celestia to go over the proposals then send me, her and Luna's agreements and disagreements." Michi answers, "Other then that I have nothing but time on my hooves."
"Well i was telling Ron about winters back home and well i was wondering if maybe and only if his parents agree as well we could bring him with us to hearth warming eve.?"
"Does he know he will be the only human there? Unless Hermione decides to go with us, I know she's been dying to get her hooves...i mean hands on Twilight's books." Michi responds
"Yes I know and i also know that Ms. Sparkle might as me a million questions but I really want to go and see this for myself if you'll allow me."
"if your parents agree." Michi relented "Oh and Harry, I have something for you, I'm not sure if you want to join but Duster and her other Crusader friends sent you this."
"Oh what is it, if it plans to the everfree forest burn them quick."
"Its an application to join the Cutie Mark Crusaders." Michi answers "I must admit, I want to see the expression on Ron's face, when he meets a family with more members then he has."
"The Crusaders but I'm here in the Wizarding world hows that gonna work, oh well I'll fill it out and give it to you to when you sent out your next letters."
"I don't know, but I think it would be a good idea for you to have more friends in Equestria, why not with other foals who haven't earned their marks yet." Michi states
"Yeah that does sound like it would be great and maybe we all can get our marks together." He smiles at the thought of getting he mark at the same time as his foalhood friend.
Michi nods, and yawns "I'm gonna nap, so off you go."
"Sure." The two left and went about the their days.
Later that evening the three of them were huddled together in the common room reading the application the Applebloom sent.
Michi was in the great hall but wasn't hungry, she was over in the corner, pushing her self up with her wings.
Hagrid walks over to Michi and asks. "Pardon me for askin' but what are you doing there, miss?"
"Wing-ups." Michi answers, as she lowered herself back to the ground and pushed herself back up.
A Hufflepuff student watched as he sat closer to the alicorn and was within easy hearing distance.
"Wing - ups and why ya doing these you seem to be in good health." Hagrid replied "By and by I was wondering hows Emerald hold up with you."
"She's doing very well and has expressed interest to see where her kind comes from, which is to say she will be returning with me to Equestria." Michi answers, "as for why I am doing a simple exercise, I have been using my mind a lot, with no time for the body."
"Well i guess i can see the reason of that, how things going beyond that my dear."
"That is not of your concern." Michi replied as she stopped and checked over her wing muscles sore but nothing damaged as always.
"Of course stuff like that is beyond me, but I been meaning to ask can you tell about what kind of critter are in your world?"
"Are we talking about normal animals or magical?" Michi questions as she went and sat down, she was confused there were many different types of creatures.
"Both if you of the mind." As the two talked a small group was slowly forming around them.
"the normal are dogs, cats, birds, and stuff like that, but the magical, are as intelligent as I am, we have Griffins, they live in their own kingdom, we have phoenixes, such as Philomena, Princess Celestia's pet." Michi explains
"Blimey you got them in your world as well very interesting. Other kinds of kinds are there, I simply must know." Hagrid look like a little foal let loose in sugar cube corners.
"Yeah, we ponies keep pets too." Michi states, "But I don't know about other places, I never ventured beyond the borders of Equestria."
One of the students finally spoke up " Um miss Michi how many different kingdoms are there in your world."
"Not sure, some of legends...but I know Griffinstone is real." Michi answers
"Griffins have their own kingdom but here they're just beast." One Hufflepuff wonders.
"You're speaking to an alicorn, who had never encountered one of your kind before unless you count when I was four years old, and that human was my stepfather." Michi countered "So in my world, you would be considered a "beast."
The Hufflepuff blushed "I didn't mean it that way."
"Sure sounded insulting to me." Michi responds,
"I'm sorry, Ms. Michi, I'll watch my words better."
Michi stood up and went around the gathered students, and trotted out the door, and headed for the Quidditch pitch, she wanted to fly. She flew around for the rest of the evening till the sun was setting, she saw something strange flickering in the woods near the school. Naturally, she would avoid going into a forest that had a much darker reputation then the Everfree Forest, but she couldn't help it. She wanted to see what was going on in the forest. She flew over to the edge of the wood, and back winged to land, and went into the building, the students were forbidden, but she wasn't a student nor was she a human, so she didn't see the point of her not going into the forest.
She walked along the woods till she saw something truly strange to her a half human half pony standing before her holding a bow.
She surged up into the air, magic surrounding her, as she was prepared to defend herself.
"Be at peace young one, I have no quarrel with you or your kind, I was merely on patrol when i saw you in the woods."
Michi regarded the creature, before landing but kept her horn glowing to allow her to see better. "What are you?"
The being stood straighter "I am a centaur one of many that live in these woods."
Michi stared at the centaur and wondered where she had seen a creature like that, perhaps from her early foalhood days before going to Equestria. "Alright, what was that shadow thing?"
"That is a mystery right now all we know is that it has attacked a unicorn and we're trying to stop it."
"It attacked a...a..uni..uni..unicorn." Michi felt faint, thinking of her friendship with Twilight Sparkle, she wasn't sure if the unicorns here were of the same nature but it was appalling. Michi succumbed to the terror, her nightmares from that day came flooding forth, she fainted in an ungraceful heap.
The centaur gently picked up the mare and carried her to Hagrid's home.
"Stop!" another centaur galloped up. It was a female, just at the age to start on patrols with the adults.
"What do you want, Wildstar?" The male asked.
"I remember her. She was born of Lily Flower, the strange creature from a different land." Wildstar explains, "That makes this one a honorary member of our herd!"
"Fine I take her to our head stallion and let her recover there." He turns and trots back to the village.
"Father should have your hide for a banner." Wildstar muttered as she finished up her mentor's patrol area.
Michi soon woke up and looked around she was definitely not in the castle.
"Its alright, princess. You are safe among our kind." the lead stallion of the herd states, as he lay near the mare.
Michi jumps up with a start "who are you and where am i?"
"Centaur Village in the Dark Forest. I am Wildfire." the head stallion states, "I was friends with the first mare of your race."
"What happened to me that I'm here now, and how did you know my mother?"
"Because she came here to our village, when she was with foal, and if I have to guess that foal is you." Wildfire answers, "my guess is you fainted and my daughter Wildstar recognized you."
She gently got off the bed "Thank you sir for helping me out."
"One as young as you should not be in the woods by themselves its very dangerous to be here."
Michi felt the need to defend herself again, "Do not think I am some pampered princess, who shouldn't bother her pretty little head about combat."
"So much like your mother full of fire." Wildfire commented, he looked up at the blossoming stars, "Not everything is as it seems, be wary and be wise, Dimensional Rift."
Michi nods, unsure.
"Wildstar will escort you back to the border." Wildfire states, as the young mare came galloping up, she skidded to a stop.
The two being to walk back to the edge of the forest.
Wildstar regarded her once friend, "I hope we are able to rekindle our friendship, we were close before you left..."
"Well that the reason i came here to reestablish all our relationship with this world and to help my brother as well." Michi responds
The alicorn left the forest and went back into the castle.
As she entered the castle she was greeted by an old man "There's another student out after curfew we'll see about that."
"Get your eyes checked, I am not a student." Michi states
"I heard of you,another troublemaker as far as I'm concerned come to wreck my order giving the students strange notions and such well i won't stand for it." He eyed her like he was going to put her in a saddle if he could. He straighten himself to try and look more scary to the mare but all he did was make himself look like a stick.
"If you're trying to frighten me, that is not going to work." Michi states, "now if you would excuse me, I am in dire need of a bath."
"Well the water shed is outside I'm sure someone would be glad to scrub you there."
Michi stopped short of the insult, she was going to retort when a familiar voice call both of their attentions.
"Argus." Dumbledore called in warning.
"Headmaster, I found this wandering the halls, I was just about to put her in her place just now." Angus gave Dumbledore a slimy smile.
"Her Highness, is a guest here. And you will be starting an international-inter dimensional incident if you do not treat her with respect." Albus states
"I am Princess-Ambassador Dimensional Rift of Equestria, I will not stand to be insulted by the likes of you." Michi states, glaring at the human, who dared to think she was a common animal.
"Her royalty but headmaster this is..." Finch began but was interrupted by the poltergeist Peeves.
"Even I know not to mess with her, the Pony-Princess! Lily's daughter!" Peeves exclaims as he plucked one of Argus' hairs.
As the ghost floated away the man giving chase "Peeves get back here I'll make you pay for that so help me I'll get the bloody baron to pit an end to your mess."
Michi laughed "Serves the fool right." she nodded with respect toward Dumbledore and headed toward the bathing room, that was used by the Prefects of the school.
After she bathed, she went back to her room to find Emerald cleaning and stacking letters on her small desk.
"How many letters did I get this time?" Michi questions
"Not counting the stack from twilight and those crusaders only one from her highness Celestia."
"Then I shall take that one." Michi states, as she used her magic to take the letter, and headed over to the sofa, she read it. It wasn't anything to with her mission as Ambassador, it was permission to bring over Ron and Hermione, if she chose to come with them. Also included was permission forms for each parent to fill out.
"So any thing important the princess sent over?" Emerald asked getting the last of the letters ready and checking the ink wells.
"Just permission forums for Ron and Hermione to send to their parents" Michi answers, as she read over the forums, nowhere did it read that they were going to a different world.
"Are you sure its wise to bring them back to Equestria I mean theres no telling what might happen there?"
"I'm not sure of anything these days, I just know that it will help the ponies of Equestria to get use to other beings. If things go south in this world, Princess Celestia and Luna might decide to give over some unclaimed territory to the wizards who wish to live in peace." Michi answers, "I know she's interested in the centaurs."
"I guess your right , just use to being in the background here but keep an eye on that one professor the one who stutters aloe something off about him."
"I know, I have been watching him." Michi replies, "You better get some rest." she hopped down and went to bed.
"Sure see you in the morning."
