"Black, are you sure?" As she went to the files she had looking for the trail records " Strange there is no records of his trail this can't be, That idiot, he should have been tried before the Wizmount before he was sent." She never finished "Get me black here right now I don't how just do it." She orders an Auror that was walking in.
"Not even a new year yet and I am putting my hooves in it." Michi states
Within a half hour, a man was brought in dressed in rags carried by two Aurors "Here is the prisoner Madame Bones."
The man looks around his eyes falling on Michi. "Michi, is that you how could that be they said they were all dead." His voice quivered as he spoke.
"Not true, Momma protected us. I hid under the crib that night, momma placed a 'Notice me not' spell on me, and then..well you know the rest." Michi answers.
"That's Lily for you she was always to smart for us." He gave a ragged cough.
"Look at me and swear to what little honor you have left to you, tell me about that night, tell me if you were the one who betrayed my family to the Dark Lord." Michi states
Sirius stood "I swear by my honor and by your family's blood all i say is true."
"Ask your questions of him, Madam Bones." Michi states
Bones began to questions the man and had a quick quill copy all his answers. "DAMN THAT PETER HE KILLED THEM" he finally yells out as the questions ends.
Michi trotted over to him and wrapped her wings around Sirius. "I knew you weren't a traitor."
He hugs her back and starts to cry into her fur "I'm sorry, Lily, James, I'm so sorry please forgive I a failure i should have saved you all." His sob filled the room.
"You are not a failure, you didn't know that rat would betray us." Michi states softly, as she allowed Sirius to weep on her coat.
He just held her and just started humming softly Michi recognized the song, her mother sung to her and Harry.
"Hey now, we have business to attend to, the walk trough bittersweet memory land is going to have to wait." Michi states, as she resumed her authority as a Princess and the Ambassador.
"Your right." He stood up and turned to face Bones. "So what is your verdict." He asked giving the air of a noble lord.
"Cleared of all charges, with my personal apologies." Madam bones states
"Thank you Madame Bones now if i may i would like to go and catch up with some old friends."
"How about catching up with scrub brush first?" Michi questions, "Those of you that don't have an equine nose, you stink."
He just laughs and looks at himself "I guess i do need to get cleaned up and some proper close, so how about we go to the school and get clean up. "
Michi nods, "Let's travel Dimensional Rift style."
"What you can do that you have your cutie mark and i missed it we do have much to talk about, lead on my little pony niece."
Michi nods as she created the spell to the castle as the additions to her group went through.
Sirius stepped through and looks around "Well that's better than portkey travel Lil's would have been so proud of you."
"I should hope so, since its her spell that I was perfecting for a decade. That's the simple version, you haven't seen true Alicorn Magic." Michi states
Sirius ruffled her mane "So now lets get cleaned up and i need to find a few people to have a nice long talk with you included, little flower."
"And a Rat to find." Michi states, as they went in two different directions, Michi went to the fifth floor Prefects bath.
Michi finished her bath, she was wearing her housecoat, slippers, and her mane was wrapped in a towel.
Emerald walked into the room reading a letter. "Hey Michi, i just got a late copy of the Prophet is this true?"
"If you are referring to the fact that Sirius Black was found innocence, and thus released from prison, then yes, it is true." Michi answers, as she went to her vanity, and toweling her mane dry, "Now would you be a sweet little dragon, and see that the house-elves bring some tea and a good meal for two."
"Sure your normal dinner or something special?"
"Special, its sort of a family reunion this night." Michi answers, as she started to brush her mane.
Just then they both heard barking outside their door and something pawing it.
Michi used her magic to open the door, "if you get me dirty again, I will neuter you, Padfoot. The hard way."
The man before stood "Now is that anyway to talk to your loving uncle?" his smile was wide and the clothes he wore would have made rarity faint in shock.
"I have a friend, who is going to love her new projects come summer." Michi states, as she looked at Sirius' reflection in the mirror. "I do have appearances to appease."
Sirius looks down at his clothes "What is wrong with what I'm wearing little miss no clothes." he teased. "Any way do you have an owl i could borrow I need to get in contact with your uncle Moony."
"I'm an Alicorn, we don't need to wear clothes all the time, we do dress for something like the Grand Galloping Gala." Michi replies "I don't own an owl, I do not know if Emerald is keyed to Moony."
"Lils told me about those, you'll never get me near it sound like a bore."
"What about Harry's owl I'm sure he would let Sirius use her." Emerald points out.
"That's another problem, I have to deal with when he finds me." Michi states
There was a soft knock on the door. "Emerald, you there? have you seen Michi?"
Emerald looked at Michi, who just nods. "Yes, I have."
"Is she there with you, i want to check on her, she was so upset earlier."
"I don't think she wants to be checked up by her younger brother, she's a grown pony, she's quite capable of taking care of herself, and I believe she's entertaining visitors right now." Emerald states
"Oh sure, I'm sorry, you're right well, will you tell her, i locked the cloak up in my trunk and that I'll drop by later to say good night." they heard the clip clops of hooves trot away.
Michi left the stool and settled on the floor, hind and front legs tucked underneath her body, her wings tucked against her side. She turned her head and looked pointing at Emerald.
Sirius looks to the door then to Michi. "Was that Harry? Why didn't you tell him you were here?"
"Considering the fact, while he is here in the Wizarding World, he is a ward of my own Crown and thus I have to think of what's best for him and for Equestria as well." Michi answers "And me having to explain about James' invisibility cloak, is not something I wish to deal with at the given time."
"Ah very well, you right that is the best for right now so anyway let's get to the meat of the matter and decide what to do next."
Michi nods, "I'm sure you have loads of questions about my foalhood and Harry's early foalhood as well."
"Well yes please tell me everything that happened since that blasted night."
Michi processed to do so as best as she could, she even said she doesn't celebrate Nightmare Night just due the fact its the same night as her parent's tragic deaths, and even exploits on Harry's growing up and leading up to this very Hearthwarming Break.
Sirius just listened laughing at some of the pranks Harry pulled and also tears up at the heartache he saw in his Niece"s eye.
Michi concluded the tale. "The happier note is that I'm reforming my friendship with Twilight Sparkle."
'Yes that what i hope to do with moony and some of my other friends and to also make amends with Snape."
the elves appeared with supper, and Michi started chattering bout various things that were the same and yet different between Equestria and the Wizarding World.
Sirius agreed with her while he just ate his first real meal in so long.
"And i thought Ron eat a lot, I think he could out eat pinkie." Michi mused as she ate her portion. She heard a strange buzzing sound, coming from her pack. She stood up and went to look.
She opened her bag and found a book she knew that wasn't hers. It was a simple book but with her Cutie Mark embossed on it, she opened and found writing in it.
'I, Princess Luna of the Night. Hereby explain the reason for hiding such a book, in Princess Dimensional Rift's book bag. You, my niece have proved to be like me, one with the night. So with due consideration, I have decided that I will be taking your studies to a new level along with acting as Ambassador of the Crowns.'
"Well Michi, i think you should write her back ."
Michi reread the paragraph in shock, as Sirius just looks on confused "what in the blazes."
"Apparently, this book is now my personal correspondence with Princess Luna." Michi states, "I will answer her later, if I don't meet with her in my dreams."
"This is getting to weird, I need to get some rest if that's okay with you Michi."
Michi nods, secretly laughing at the thought of things getting to strange for Sirius.
Siruis stood and went to the door before turning back to her and turning into a dog and licking her face and ran out the door barking the whole way out.
"I'll get you for that dog!" Michi vowed as she wiped the dog slobber of of her muzzle.
The next morning, the professors who chose to stay over the holiday along with the few students were staring up at the sky, watching something amazing.
"Oh my goodness, what seems to be going on here."
Michi was performing one of the aerial displays that was an exercise routine for the Wonderbolts. Seeing as she badly needed to stay in flying shape.
Everyone watched her and as she finished they all applauded her "That your Highness was wonderful thank you."
Michi's sides were heaving, and her wing muscles were sore, but she felt good. "What that was an exercise routine, Spitfire would have my tail as new décor for the Wonderbolts' locker room, if I didn't practice."
"I can imagine that its the same with the military here but still i would love to see these 'wonder bolts' someday.
Michi shuffled her hoof in the snow. "You just did, I am a honorary Wonderbolt, cause Spitfire is my mentor and my father was the previous Captain."
"I personally think i want to see you race some of the fliers I know."
"Well now i sure you have things to do this day namely finding Pettigrew and bringing to justice. " Dumbledore said in a pained voice.
Michi smiled slightly.
The holiday was over, and it was back to the grindstone for the students and Michi was hock deep in political matters, that she used the floo network to get back and forth from the Ministry to Hogwarts. She didn't use magic as it was a wear on her energy reserves.
She saw Sirius hunting the halls in his dog form hunting for the rat as he told her he found his scent in the halls once more.
"Padfoot." Michi called out, "Need to consult with you."
He turns to her and went back to his human form. "Of course, Michi, how can this old dog help a pretty pony like you."
"Flattery gets you no where with me, old dog." Michi states, as she lead the way to her room, where she sat on the sofa. "everyone at the Ministry is wary of you, as they are still willing to believe that you did murder twelve innocent people, in the act of pursuing Pettigrew, of course. We both know that is rubbish, however, you might not be warmly welcomed in the Wizarding Society."
"I know that's why I haven't been back to the black manor or talked to the press since you freed me from that hell hole."
"Yes, and you basically gave all ruling power of your family to the Bank. So let the goblins chose a worthy successor, however, I think I might know of a way to put an end to this situation, if you would put your loyalty, trust and faith in me." Michi states
"My dear neice you already had that, save for James, Lily, and Remus, none have my loyalty or trust."
"I wouldn't be just your niece, if you agree to my idea." Michi states
He looks at her confused "What do you mean by that."
"I have rejected Princess Luna's offer to rule over Equestria night in her stead, I have my own ideas fro what I want for my life, I wish to start my own Sub-Kingdom in Equestria, I have learned that most people out here do not wish live in secret, that they would like to raise their children without fear, without 'Pure-blood' nonsense in the way." Michi answers
"And I agree Lily was arguing the same thing so you want me to be your subject?"
"Yes, if I can get more people to rally to my side of thinking, which I have started to turn a few heads, to the ideas that Equestria represents, but I need someone, who I can trust and let's face it, not many here are willing to see pass my appearance" Michi replies
"I'm sure i can do that I know at least three families that want to leave this war and its prejudice behind if they still feel that was i can bring them here." Sirius answers, "And if I can I'll will speak to others and see how they feel about your idea as well."
"I will you leave you to offer it to Remus, I will think of something to counteract his other problem." Michi states, "It won't be for sometime, I mean I don't even have a lands to build, I have just began to negotiate with Celestia and Luna."
"Very well my Lady, it will be as you command." He turns and marches off to the owlery.
Michi rubbed her eyes, as much as she wished for rest, she had one more person to speak with, and they were about to be at loggerheads.
