She reached the dungeon just out side the door to the potions lab and hear Snape muttering inside.
Michi raised her hoof and tapped on the door.
"Who ever it is just come in."
Michi entered "Since you are the one who sent the note, you would be at least more polite."
"Ah princess I'm glad you came sorry this potion is at a delicate stage and i didn't think you would come so soon with the two canines here as well."
"You said you wanted a informal meeting, so here I am." Michi replies, as she moved to look at the cauldron. "what is this, you're brewing?"
He smiles slyly. "Your brother's next exam as much as i hate to admit it, he is very skilled in my class."
"He should be since I have sat on him enough during his younger studies, he is a hard worker when given the chance to excel." Michi answers
"Yes I can see but back to the matter at hand the reason i asked you to come here."
Michi waited for Snape to speak.
"The reason i asked you to come here was because i want to ask for your forgiveness."
"Forgiveness? What did you ever to do to me?" Michi questions
"Not so much to you but to your family but also i want to propose an idea to you as well."
"I wouldn't be much of a Princess, if I didn't listen. Say On." Michi answers
Snape took a deep breath "I wish to join your side and stop being a spy for both Voldemort and Dumbledore i wish to lay my loyalty with you and no other being."
"I think this is going to take more time then just between classes, I will hear you out, but I reserve my judgments until then, come to my rooms tonight, if you have to make some excuse to do so, I will play along with that as well." Michi states
"Very well, I'll see you tonight then after dinner."
Michi didn't feel like walking, she teleported to her room again. Running a hoof over her muzzle, her life just went from slightly good to worse.
Later that day just before dinner, Harry came storming into her room looking like a windigo was chasing him.
"What has your tail on fire?" Michi questions
"Michi, you have to tell the Professors something, I know they won't listen to me as I'm a colt but somepony is trying to steal something that's hidden in the school and me and Ron, and Hermione just figured it out." He tells her all that knew.
Michi blinked, before she gave a unladylike snort. "I told that old goat to tell me what is going on in this school and he didn't listen to me."
"You have to do something cause I'm sure somepony is going to get hurt or worst." Harry was pacing back and forth in a near panic.
"calm down, breathe." Michi states as she enfolded her brother within her wings, "Just breathe."
"But my friends and class mates, horseapples. I don't even want Malfoy to get hurt, we got to do something. "
"You need to calm down first, You can't help anyone foaming at the mouth, like you ran the running of the leaves with a boulder strapped to your back." Michi states
Harry slows down and take slow deep breaths and close his eyes without meaning to he slips back to his colt form and snuggles into her fur.
"Now you go to dinner, and I will speak to McGonagall." Michi states
"Sure Michi, I'm sorry, I came barged into your room like that but i was scared and worried like when aunt Luna came back."
"First that wasn't Luna, that was Nightmare Moon. Second, I wasn't worried about her, I knew Twilight would find a way to stop her." Michi replies, "Now scoot, I have work to do."
"Sure thing I'll see you in the morning I'm gonna do my homework and then play Ron in chess i think i can finally beat him this time." He gave her a nuzzle and trotted off to the great hall.
Michi turned back and studied the map of the underground chamber, where Dumbledore hid the mirror of Eiresd, she figured that out weeks ago, she just needed to know who it was that was going to steal the stone.
She studied the map till there was a knock on the door letting her know someone was there.
"Enter." Michi states, taking a bite out of the sandwich that was left from lunch.
Snape entered the room and looked around he took a seat on the couch and waited for her to finish.
"How secure is that chamber?" Michi questions "I know that Dumbledore hid something down there, and someone is going to steal it."
He looks at the map and gasped "how in the blazes, never mind , that chamber is fairly secure all of us hand a hand in laying out traps leading to that room."
"And any professor would know how to counteract these defenses?" Michi questions
"You mean other than the professors that laid the trap only the headmaster and maybe the defense professor."
"You think its Quirrell?" Michi questions, as she turned and trotted to the door. "I hope you can keep up, if I'm right that bastard is going to try to steal it tonight."
"That will not be a problem."
Michi headed out of her room, and started to gallop. Sirius and Remus were coming out of the Great Hall when they seen the pony blur run pass followed by the black blur of Snape.
The two joined her and quickly caught up " where in blaze are you two off to?"
"Third floor!" Michi exclaims as she by passed the staircase by using her wings to fly.
"What! Why are we going there? "
Michi was prancing in place waiting for those without wings or paws to climb the stairs.
The trio caught up with her just slightly out of breath.
"You want to prove your loyalty, here's your chance." Michi states, "Get us pass the defenses."
"Done" with that he pulls out his wand and with a wave sent a melody in to the room there they heard thump on the floor. "Come that music wont hold for long."
Sirius and Remus were still confused.
Snape just glared at the two. " just follow me and be quick about it"
the two made it down to the trap door, where Snape took them to a short cut by passing the Devil's snare.
"Where to next?" Was all Sirius said pulling out his wand.
"To the chamber with the Mirror of Erised." Michi answers as she floated in the air, just baring flapping her wings.
"Then lets get to it and end this right now." Snape simply nods in agreement and leads them futher into the chambers.
On the way, Michi explained her theory of Quirrell. "So I'm assuming this is all Dumbledore's fault, to either lure out Voldemort's spirit fragment, or to see if Harry is willing to kill himself for the greater Good."
"That old man is off his rocker if he thinks that my nephew will place himself, if i wasn't who i am i would challenge that fool to a full wizard duel to settle this."
"That's why you will leave that old coot to me." Michi responds, "Also why we are going to stakeout the area, and interrupt when necessary."
"Very well then, we're here lets spread out and be on the look out for prey."
"This isn't a hunting trap, Black." Snape hissed as all four hid with in the chamber, Michi being the hardest to find a hiding space, so she hunkered down on the rafters.
They waited for what felt like hours till the door of the chamber open and in slithered in his rode and turban was Quirrell. He walked over to the mirror and began muttering to himself about how to get the stone from it.
Michi held her breath, as she waited, she wanted nothing more to stomp that creature that dared to call itself a professor, with her hooves.
"Master, I just don't see any way to get the stone. Please help me master." The man circled the mirror wondering how to get the stone. "But master the boy is not even here, how will i get him."
Michi's ears twitched as she heard the distant wingbeats of a pegasi, but there were no Pegasi here, unless...Michi clamped her muzzle shut before she revealed her position. Just as the dapple coated colt came into her view. She looked at the others, who were frozen in fear.
Harry looked toward the mirror and around the room not seeing anyone here. "Great, we managed to beat anypony here now all i got to do is just wreck the mirror and no pony should get the stone and everypony will be safe." He move over to the mirror just as Quirrell step out from behind it. "Now young Potter, I can't have you do that, now can we."
"You but...Snape." Harry stared wide eyed at the Defense professor.
"Yes, who would suspect p-p-p-poor s-s-s-stuttering Professor Quirrell with Snape about, now when I look at the mirror, I see myself with the stone but I can't get it!"
"Good, you're an evil person anyway no pony should have that stone."
"Use the boy." a person hissed
"Oh no you don't, I'm not helping you in any form, i rather deal with a Diamond Dog than you." Harry was backing away from him.
"Come here boy!"
Harry found his legs wouldn't obey him as they inched closer. He then tried to to flap his wings but they were locked to his side. He shook his head and fought the order.
Next thing, Harry knew a pinkish tan blur flew straight at Quirrell.
"Michi your here but how?"
Michi didn't answer, she was to busy trying to stay aloft, while pounding Quirrell's face into the ground.
Just then two more people as well as one very large dog joined in her fight.
"Potter, get out of here now." Snape barked to the boy.
"Padfoot, get Harry would of here!" Michi shouted as she flew up and blasted Quirrell with magical bolt.
"Blasted beast you think your better than a human I'll show you." He sent a blasting curse towards Michi.
Michi flew straight upward and dodged the blast, and sent out another magical blast of her own. "You are nothing but a low life coward, who seeks to bring his Master back to life, as a Princess of Equestria, as Lily Potter's daughter, I will never allow that!"
Harry continued to stare in shock but he then caught his reflection in the mirror, the reflection Harry had something in his muzzle before tucking it under his wing.
Harry suddenly felt a weight under his wing and gave a quick look he saw the stone there. He tried to move then away from all the fighting.
Quirrell noticed Harry trying to escape, and rushed at him, the colt could only raise his hooves in defense then he realized that his touch burned the possessed professor.
Harry was at first shock by this then he press his advantage more try to get the mad professor away from him. "The stone the boy has the stone kill him!"
Quirrell screamed in pain, as his hands were burning away. Harry shifted forms and pressed human hands into Quirrell's face.
Harry screamed. "You're not going to hurt anypony ever again." As held on to the burning man he felt his world slowly turning into black and he was losing his battle to stay awake.
Michi watched as her brother pass out cold, she landed in front of him just as the spirit of Voldemort was escaping, she cast a shield spell to protect them from other damage.
A few minutes later, the other professors came rushing into the room and saw the aftermath of the battle in the chambers. McGonagall came up to Michi and spoke. "Your highness, please drop the shield. we need to get the boy up to the hospital wing at once.
Michi lowered her shield, then collapsed herself.
Michi felt herself floating in a sea of sleepiness, but she heard voices, one was Snape and the other was Dumbledore.
"You fool you knew this was possible why did you let this happen" she heard the potions master tell the old man.
"Pony over here trying to sleep." Michi muttered, her green eyes opened to mere slits staring at the two. "Please, I am tired of being a politician, so if you have something that deals with me, spit it out."
"It's not so much with you as with this whole mess that happened in the chambers and with Quirrell and Voldemort spirit escaping. "
"Then why are you two disrupting my patients?" Madam Pomfrey questions, with her hands on her hips.
"Ah yes my apologies, madam Pomfrey. This was the first chance, we had to talk we never meant to disturb your patients."
"Snape, do not speak to anyone unless you consult with me, first." Michi states, as she snuggled back into the mattress.
Just then they all heard Harry yell "Noooo, Michi run."
Michi sprang from the bed, and landed on Harry's bed, "Enough, little brother, its just a nightmare."
Harry just wrapped all his hooves and wings around her holding her tight and sobbed into her fur. "I saw it, he got you and i was there, he had all of you even aunt Luna and aunt Tia."
"Concept of oxygen, consider you?" Michi questions, as she couldn't breath.
He loosened his hold on her but didn't let go of her. His sobbing continued.
"You think for a second, that some disembodied fool will get his hands on me, you are mistaken." Michi states
Harry shook his head. "No, I know it was a dream but i just wish Luna was here right now, she would chase the nightmares away, not that I don't want you here."
"You know that Luna doesn't work through dreams like that, she helps you defeat your own nightmares." Michi answers, "Now would you mind releasing me?"
Harry slowly let her go and looked around the room. "Ummm, am i back at the royal infirmary again, ain't i?" He said in a small voice.
"No, Mr. Potter, you in the school hospital wing and I am glad you're awake, you had worried for a bit." Dumbledore answers with a concerned expression.
Michi jump off the bed, but she braced herself by placing front legs on the mattress. Emerald rushed into the hospital wing, carrying a letter in her claws, she held it out to Michi. "This came from Canterlot, it has Celestia's seal on it."
"Emerald open the letter for me and let me read it." Michi asked.
The dragon did so, and gave it to Michi, the alicorn read over it and smiled dully.
"Tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala." Michi states.
Harry just groans and pulls the sheets over his face "Please tell me there isn't one with my name on it you know i hate those parties."
"You've never been to the Gala." Michi states
"It's a bunch of noble ponies talking, you told me about it and I don't want to go it's gonna be boring."
"This year, Celestia invited Twilight's ponyville friends." Michi counters
"That's nice at least you got some ponies you could talk with but i rather just stay in Luna's tower and watch her make the night sky."
"i don't think you have much of a choice." Michi states
Harry just groans then looks over to her can i bring my friends to the Gala as well?' He asked hopefully.
"no ticket no go." Michi replies, "and I just have enough for my connections here." she turn to Madam Pomfrey, "Am I fit to leave?"
"Of course dear I was just waiting till you woke but you Potter still have a few days to recover so no leaving the bed."
"by the time, you're released I should be back to full strength to use Alicorn Magic." Michi states, as she nuzzled her brother, before she fled the hospital wing.
"Fine but i never had to stay this long in the castle infirmary even after Duster and I sprained our wings after that one cloud jump."
Michi turned around "I don't want to know."
Harry just giggles "And I won't tell?" He rolls over and tries to fall back a sleep.
Michi trots through the castle, noticing how each of the students glanced her direction more then normal.
"She's the one, she helpped stop Quirrell." Her hearing heard one pair of Hufflepuff students whisper to each other as she passed.
"This worse then Canterlot." Michi murmured to herself as she continued to trot by the students.
She made her way to her chambers and found her table stacked high with gifts and other nick knacks from the students.
She just jump on the sofa, and rested. "Don't these creatures know me by now?"
"I'm sure they do but there still kids and kids feel that giving gifts is the right thing to do if you want i can sent them away."
"Please do, if my room is anything like this Harry's bedside table is going to get more." Michi answers, "I'm just ready to go home."
"Just a few more days and them we all can go home to ponyville, i know i cant wait."
"Just no seven hour bubble baths." Michi responds
Emerald took a deep breath a set all the gifts on fire to be sent to the palace.
"I can here it now, Blueblood touching Common human fare." Michi giggles.
Two knocks on the door, before a dog landed on Michi, the alicorn raised her back legs, and kicked Padfoot off and he landed on the bed.
The dog groan and then changed back to a human laying on her bed. "Ow Michi, that hurts you know."
"Next time, i'll put a collar and a leash on you." Michi threatened "I am exhausted and you think its cute to jump and lick me to death, not going to happen."
"If it were any other equine, you would be in pain worse then you are now, you would be in the hospital wing." Remus states as he came and sat down. Looking worse for ware.
"Aww but you look so cute with your mane all messed up." He laughed as he fixed his robes.
"I wonder if Fluttershy can get through your thick skull?" Michi questions aloud.
"True but I knew she would know how to restrain herself, and who is this Fluttershy a friend of yours?"
Michi nods, "A Pegasus pony, who is able to communicate with animals."
"Well thats nice but i would hardly call myself an animal" Remus laughs "That is still up to debate my dear padfoot."
"Well, since we're ponies, we smell different then humans, so I'm thinking that might help with your full moon problem." Michi states
"Oh really that would be great I wouldn't want to hurt anyone on one of my bad days."
Michi nods, "Silly question of me, but anything else you want to know about Equestria, before I toss you into a land full of talking equines?"
"Nothing i can think of, other than what our duties will be?"
"As for now, nothing, I still need to visit Celestia and Luna, and see what lands they can spare, and just how many people can come, or is willing too. But right now, I am just dreaming of the Spa."
A few days later, Harry was released for the hospital in time for the end of year feast and the awarding of the house cup.
Michi sat at the professors' table, her tiara in place, she was looking regal as any other important person.
"And now my young student with this feast we close out another year of learning go and have fun and remember all that you have learned not only in your classes but from your friends as well."
The students all let out a cheer and congratulations went all around to the staff and students.
Michi looked at the potion's professor. "Severus, are you planning on your vacation being in Equestria?"
"Actually your highness, I was planning to ask if i could join you, Mr. Potter said something about a race that were masters of potions and i wanted to see if i could study some of their workings." "He gave a tight lip smile as if it actually hurts to do so.
Michi nods, "I will see what I can up come with, if even I have to guide you through the Everfree Forest myself."
Harry was talking with his friends promising to write and find some way to keep in contact throughout the summer months.
Emerald looked up from the table, she was sitting at Michi's right hoof, she looked at Michi. "Michi, isn't there something that your Celestia uses to send letters to Spike?"
Michi look at Emerald and nods in thought.
Michi stood up and went to Ron and Hermione, "I'm just not sure, how this could be done with you, Hermione since you're underage and a muggleborn as well, but Ron, however, if I can phrase it right, he can send letters to Emerald to give to Harry."
"Well i can my letters to Ron and then he can the letter back to me the same way if you idea can work then we can keep in contact that way."
"I'll be right back." Michi states, as she teleported out.
"You know Harry no matter how many times I see it her just teleporting like that just still leaves me stunned." Ron jokes.
"She and Twilight were friendly rivals in magic studies, when they were fillies." Harry answers
"That i can believe but how come you don't do that aren't you as powerful as her?"
"I don't know how, that's an advance form of unicorn magic, I'm still learning my unicorn magic, when or if I ever earn my Cutie Mark, I will train in the magic of that talent." Harry explains
Ron nods in understanding. "Kinda like us having till were seventeen to learn how to apperate and even then not all of us learn how."
"Yes" harry agreed even if he didn't understand what Ron was talking about. Michi was back with a slip of paper in her mouth.
Ron took the paper from her to let her talk and to at the paper as well.
"That spell is a modified version of Celestia's and it should work to send letters to Equestria, so when you get home, have your dad or mom cast the spell on the letters that you want to send." Michi explains, "If you think you are going to lose it, give it to Percy."
Ron smiled "No worry about that there's no way I'll lose something this important." He fold the paper up once more and placed it in his pocket then gave Michi a hug and a pony like nuzzle.
"Look in your trunk as well." Michi whispered as she turned and went back to the table. Harry just giggles at the sight of Ron nuzzling his sister. "You know Ron if i didn't know better i would say your becoming very pony like. "
Ron just blushes and rubs the back of his neck "Well harry with both you and Hermione drilling manners into me i can't help but learn, now lets hurry and pack our things and get ready to leave tomorrow.
Michi was soaring above the sky, watching as the students left for home. She twisted and used magic to create her own Cutie Mark, and flew straight through it.
