April 2030 (Six years later)

"Sam, you have to relax," Dean said told his brother, who had been pacing back and forth down the hospital's corridor.

"Relax, relax he says," Sam said and ran his fingers through his hair. "Are you kidding me? My wife is about to give birth. To twins. Twins! I can't relax."

Cas, who had been sitting quietly by Dean's side flipping through a magazine, tossed it to the side and said, "I agree with your brother, Sam. You need to relax and have faith."

Dean smiled at his husband and Cas smiled back while Sam almost gagged. Sometimes, they were so adorable, it was sickening.

He glared at them.

"You know, maybe you should be in there with your wife, rather than out in the corridor, here with us," Dean said. "I mean, it's your wife who's giving birth after all."

Sam scratched at the back of his head. "She told me I was making her nervous."

Dean tried to stifle a laugh but it came out anyway. "You see, Sammy, even the pregnant woman tells you to stop worrying."

Sam huffed and rolled his eyes. Then he stormed over to the hospital room Jess was in and opened the door before quickly shutting it.

"Crisis averted," Dean said as he picked up a magazine.

"You think that was averted?" Cas asked. "That was just the beginning."

Dean laughed wholeheartedly.

Ten hours later

Ten hours later and Dean and Cas finally got to meet their niece and nephew.

"What are their names?" Castiel asked when he and Dean were finally allowed into the hospital room.

"She's Mary and he's Bobby John," Sam said softly as he smiled down at them and then gently placed Mary into Dean's arms while giving Bobby John to Cas.

Dean smiled down at Mary and Bobby John and started making silly faces at them.

"I love them already," Dean said while he cooed at them.

"I too am very fond of them," Cas agreed as he held Bobby John's little fingers.

Jess laughed from the bed and said, "Just be careful, guys. Don't want to give Sam an aneurysm."

Sam rolled his eyes but Jess just gave him a small smile and then laid back down. As she watched Sam, Dean, and Cas fuss over her children, she fell into a gentle sleep.
