Sorry I haven't written for ages! I've been plotting, also if this isn't the chapter that you wanted I understand and the Emma and Elsa memories chapters are coming, I promise, but I've got some figuring out to do first! Also remember to submit any ideas, anything is appreciated! :)
Storybrooke
Neal had cried himself to sleep by the time that Anna had woken up. Anna sighed, and let out a little whimper.
"Don't you start crying." Snow hissed. "I've had enough whining from un-charming over here and I know yours will be worse."
Anna looked over to Snow and shot her a nasty look.
"Yours will definitely be worse." Charming cackled"Her fiance is missing."
"What?" Anna stood up to look where Kristoff's handcuff was still chained to the desk, without him. "No!" She rushed to the handcuff and stroked the metal. "Where has he gone?" She could feel tears rising in her throat.
"Whatever knocked us out took him." Snow yawned and bashed her head against the wall.
"Good riddance." Charming reached out of his cell towards Anna, who clutched the handcuffs tighter.
"Ingrid." Anna muttered.
"What did you say?" Snow replied. "Didn't anyone teach you how to be a good princess? Your parents failed you."
"No wonder, they died when you were, what, 12?" Charming shouted back
"Oh you can hardly talk, you weren't even a prince until you were 18." Snow snapped.
"Shut up! Shut up the both of you!" Anna shouted. "I said Ingrid. It was Ingrid, again. She took Kristoff and she took Elsa and Emma. Emma! Your daughter! Come on Snow, you have to feel something!"
"She's not really my daughter. She's cold and she doesn't want me." Snow retorted
"You abandoned her." Charming smirked
"Don't act like it wasn't your idea too!" Snow snapped back. "It was the only way to save her! And she can't see that. She's as ungrateful as...as..."
"It doesn't matter!" Anna yelled. She took a deep breath. "Please, help me break this curse! I need to find Kristoff, and Elsa!"
"Don't you see honey, we're trapped like this!" David cackled
"It's what the snow queen wanted, and who's to say she wasn't right?" Snow finished as Anna ran back into the SHeriff's office. Now she was crying. How could Snow have feelings like that for Emma? Did Anna feel like that towards Elsa too? Maybe even Kristoff?
Anna watched Snow and Charming as they threw insults at one another. Anna used the computer, which she found very hard to master, to research how to break the curse, but the internet gave her nothing apart from stupid stories and things called "blogs" which mocked the use of magic. She felt helpless. Everything stayed the same, and so Anna picked up baby Neal and held him to her chest. She danced with him around the office, humming a lullaby her Mother used to sing her at night. At the end, Anna kissed Neal on the head and laid him back down in his rocker. Neal yawned and fell back to sleep peacefully. Anna smiled.
It hit her suddenly. She knew how to break the curse. Snow and Charming, true love. They must kiss.
Anna ran out so she was in front of the two cells. David was throwing a piece of blutac in the air whilst Snow picked her nails, muttering to herself.
"I know!" Anna laughed as she grabbed Kristoff's handcuffs. "I know how to break the curse!"
"Who says we even want to break the curse?" David growled
"Yeah, it's good that all these things are out in the open so I know I can justify ripping the other half of my heart out when I get my hands on him." Mary Margaret said nonchalantly.
"Oh trust me, you want to break this curse." Anna smiled "You want to break this curse! All you have to do is kiss each other! A kiss and the spell will be broken! Isn't that how the saying goes...?"
"Kiss?" Snow laughed harshly "Are you out of your mind?"
"It's not funny!" Anna cried "Please! Please!"
"I'll kiss her if it gets me closer to her neck." Charming smiled deviously.
Anna swallowed. "Fine. You two will be close enough to break each others necks okay?" She wasn't sure if this was a good idea. Charming and SNow would kill each other under the circumstances, but this was the only shot she had to save them too.
Grabbing the key around her waist, Anna unlocked Snow from her cell and grabbed her wrists.
"You have to kiss before you fight." Anna hissed to both of them. Snow was already gritting her teeth. "One kiss. That's all I ask."
"We promise." They both said in a sing-song way. David clutched the bars of his cell with his hands, grinding his teeth. Anna moved Snow to the edge of David's cell, ready to pull her away.
The couple leaned in, lips pursed, both grimacing. The kiss was mechanical, rehearsed, planned. Anna heard a snarl from one of them. But then a circle of white light pushed Anna backwards, and she let go of Snow who raced forward. Anna could feel it, she had failed.
Anna groaned, rubbing her head where she had banged it on the desk. What she expected to see was Snow and Charming fighting, grappling at each other's necks and chests, but instead they were locked together, embraced in a longing kiss.
"Anna!" Snow reached down to help the girl up. "You did it! You did it! The curse is broken!" Snow hugged Anna tightly, as if she were her own child. Anna smiled as Snow ran into the Sheriff's office to hug Neal. Anna unlocked David who also hugged her before running to his wife and child.
Anna sat on the edge of the desk where Kristoff should had been. She imagined kissing him, and him apologising for all the things he had said. Anna smiled as she pulled at the handcuffs.
"Anna," Snow was wheeling the buggy "we know how we can get them back."
"You do?" Anna's eyes widened. "I'll help, I'll do anything! Please, I want my sister and Kristoff back!"
"Come on, we're taking a trip to Gold's shop." David sighed, bouncing Neal around. "Provided that he wasn't killed." Snow smirked and they left the Sheriff's office. On the street, all of Storybrooke were rolling around, apologising to each other, laughing about what they had said. Anna watched as the people who she imagined hated each other, hugged and kissed. It made her feel warm and fuzzy inside, like when Kristoff kissed her.
Mr Gold's shop was dark, but Snow and Charming raced inside. They wasted no time in rushing to the back room, where Belle was lying on the bed.
"Rumple?" Snow asked as David handed Belle the baby.
"Right here." He laughed. Rumpelstiltskin was wearing his old get up, fashioned from crocodile leather and tarnished fabrics. Belle sighed and took Neal away from Rumple.
"You!" Anna shrieked
"You!" Rumple replied, clasping his hands together. "Is it still Joan, or maybe Anna?"
"It doesn't matter..." David started, but they were interrupted by Regina, or rather the Evil Queen, by the garments she was wearing, storming into the room.
"Henry!" She exclaimed "Henry's missing!"
"What?" Snow and Charming turn to Regina
"He's gone, he was in the office. I put him there, and now he's gone!" Regina cried
"The Snow Queen took him." Anna said
"Right y'are dearie." Mr Gold said, rummaging around in his box.
"Can you get us there?" Snow asked "She took Emma too."
"Oh yes, of course, the Saviour is more important than my only son!" Regina shouted
"He's ours too." David replied, putting an arm around Snow, who looked as if she might cry.
"And Elsa and Kristoff are gone too." Anna said. "Please, get us there."
"I have just the thing." Rumpelstiltskin smiled and threw a potion at the ground.
"A portal?" Regina shrieked as the room began to get very windy.
"To where?" Snow shouted at Rumple
"The new Arendelle!" Rumplestiltskin laughed as everyone but him fell into the blustery hole.
