Chapter 14 Revealing Secrets
(Shawn POV)
Honestly, I don't mind how we all are partaking in the competition, but why in all seriousness did we have to spend our Friday afternoon, at the docks. It was boring to say the most, but in all fairness, Akira did know what we were supposed to do, or what she was doing. Other than that, Weiss being extremely happy, which is a rare occasion, is starting to scare me. Other than that, we got distracted by the Dust shop that had all the dust stolen from.
"So what do you think? The White Fang?" one of the officers asked.
"I think we don't get paid that much," the other said.
"What's your evidence then?" Akira asked.
"What do you mean you worthless animal?" the officer said, that was harsh.
"Oh do I need to give you simpler terms then, it's seems like it could offend someone like you two that a teenage girl would know more than you do," Akira said, "What proof do you have that the White Fang, that any Faunus, did this? I have a keener sense of smell than you two and I'm detecting a little more human than Faunus scent."
"So what? You could be lying for all we know," the other officer said.
"Then why don't you two just do your job and LOOK for ACTUAL evidence then, fingerprints, loose hair, anything that can prove who the suspect is," Akira said leaving to find the RWBY gang with a girl that was knocked over for some odd reason.
"I'm Penny," the girl said and we responded to her by giving her our names.
The conversation continued on about a stowaway Monkey Faunus. And honestly, I'm pretty sure that Akira didn't want to hear about Weiss discriminating us. So we walked away finding the actual Faunus they as in Weiss was looking for.
"You're not hunting me down…are you?" he asked.
"No, we're Faunus, all Faunus should be friends…right?" Akira asked.
"Yeah, I guess, but I'm not sure about the one with the three humans if you want to know," he said.
"Maybe the person is just hiding the fact they are one," Akira said, "Sorry for introducing ourselves, we're students at Beacon Academy, Team ASPR, I'm Akira and these are my teammates, Shawn, Raven and Yoko."
"Sun," he said.
"So what are you doing here Sun? Other than sneaking onto ships," Akira asked.
"I didn't have anything in mind," Sun said.
"So you forgot about the Vytal Festival then, right?" Yoko asked.
"Kinda, I mean I heard about it while on board, but I never thought to even bother to attend it," Sun said.
"So, are you from Vacuo then?" Akira asked.
"Do I even need to tell anyone?" Sun asked.
"Oh, okay," Akira said, "we should be going now, it's getting late, maybe we'll bump into each other again."
"Sure, I wouldn't mind," Sun said as we left.
"Okay so now what?" I asked.
"I don't know, want to go visit the RWBY dorm?" Akira asked.
"Why not," Yoko said, "Race you guys."
(Akira POV)
This wasn't good, not the racing thing, Blake and Weiss were fighting, about the Faunus of the White Fang, which both Blake and I know are being misled by the uncle I wished I never had.
"Well maybe WE were tired of being pushed around!" Blake shouted back at first I was shocked, and when she finally realized it, she ran out.
"Blake wait!" I shouted toward her, beginning to run out of the halls being held back, finding it being Yoko.
"Let her go, you know why she left, they don't have to know yet, they can wait, and so can you," Yoko said.
"Blake," I said, watching her leave, heading back to the ASPR dorm passing by Velvet, giving her a small smile.
In the morning I went to the RWBY dorm again, finding that Blake still hasn't come back yet. Where was she, I was beginning to worry about her. The weekend was almost over and she still hasn't shown up yet. The others were sleeping in, I didn't mind, I got Jeweled Ventus and putted on a dark-blue hooded cloak with the original White Fang symbol and walked out the door, no note, nothing to give them a clue of where I was going. I was going to find Blake. It was too early to go look in shops, restaurants or any building for that matter so I was stuck looking outside. Finally going to the docks, finding on the ship, crates of Dust, doing a little thinking, I decided, why not just wait around here, Blake might try to find a way that the White Fang were innocent.
"Don't even try sneaking up on me Blake," I said as I heard her footsteps and caught her scent, "Don't ask why I knew, Wolf Faunus senses are a bit stronger than Cat Faunus senses remember?"
"So you're here as well?" Blake asked.
"I wanted to find you, this was the best option I could think of," I said, "we both know we both want to prove that the White Fang is innocent."
"I know," Blake said watching the crates of Dust with me.
(Yoko POV)
"Hey Ruby, did you find Blake yet?" I asked.
"Not really," Ruby said.
"Do you want some help?" I asked.
"Sure," Ruby said, "Where's Akira?"
"She…went somewhere," I said, "she left this morning when we were asleep."
"Oh, okay," Ruby said.
"Okay Team ASPR, or the members that are present at the moment," I said, "I'm not good at this but Akira's not here at the moment. So we have to find her and Blake since I had asked Ruby if she needed any help. Also because we still have to find Akira to ask her why she left without giving us or leaving behind the reason why too."
"Okay, but I did have something I've been meaning to do though and I don't want to cancel it again though," Raven said.
"That's fine Raven, so Shawn how about you?" I asked.
"Tail feather preening day," Shawn said, "Since I can't do it all the time, I was hoping I could do it today, they started to lose their shine already."
"Okay, it doesn't matter that much I guess," I said, "but whatever you do on the weekends when Akira is normally here, you should do it, and especially homework."
I met up with Ruby and told her about the situation of what Raven and Shawn were doing, and we began to search for the two…with Penny…why is she still here?
(Raven POV)
"Sky, why do we have to hide this?" I asked, meeting him at our hiding spot on our roof.
"If Cardin found out, who knows what he will do to you," Sky said, "Maybe Akira might be able to agree to this but Cardin might not."
"So how long until we can reveal this?" I asked.
"Who knows," Sky said, "Maybe someday we can."
"So what do you want to do?" I asked.
"I don't know," Sky said, "but what I do know is that I want to be with you."
