Chapter 15 White Fang and…who?
(Akira POV)
"Did I miss anything?" Sun asked coming back, it was already getting late.
"Not really," Blake said, "they offloaded all the crates from the boat, now they're just sitting there."
"Cool, I stole you some food," Sun said holding out an apple for Blake.
"Do you always break the law without a second thought?" Blake asked.
"Hey weren't you in a cult or something?" Sun asked in return, giving everyone here some silence, "Okay too soon."
The airships came and landed, and out came members of the White Fang. I was glad I chose this cloak and kept my hood up. It was Uncle's fault I could tell. Just then, a human came out.
"This isn't right. The White Fang would never work with a human, especially not one like that," Blake said going down and technically holding a threat against him, I could hear it all with my wolf hearing.
(Yoko POV)
Gunfire, something happened at the docks. When we arrived, we found Blake, Sun and a cloaked person. What was going on here? Blake was fighting Torchwick, which proves one thing; he was the one behind all these robberies, but what about the White Fang then? I allowed my semblance to activate without them noticing, creating the illusion of five other fox tails with fire, manifesting a realistic look with a false pearl at the base of each tail. My real tail was in the middle, with the smallest but brightest pearl out of all of them, then cloaking myself and becoming invisible. No one would notice my disappearance. Well maybe not Akira if she's here.
My semblance was a unique one, one my parents hated; Kitsune Spirit. In folklore, kitsunes were able to shape shift, create illusions, manifest dreams, wield fire or lightning without the use of Dust, become invisible, fly and have many tails. Kitsune Spirit is different for each Fox Faunus that has it, for me, I could wield fire, become invisible and create illusions. But for me, which made it unique was that I had to create the five other tails in order to fully use it to my limits. For now, I could use it to hide myself.
(Akira POV)
Sun already had jumped into this fight; I was waiting for a moment where I didn't have to deal with Torchwick. More members of the White Fang were already jumping out of other airships, few were hiding; those were the ones I was going to fight. They were simple enough, I knew well of the previous training that the members use to go through, with my Uncle around, they were doing at least ten times the amount.
"How dare you bear the symbol," one said.
"How dare you follow a leader who is leading everyone to their demise," I responded.
And just then, the worst thing happened to me, the hood came off, revealing my identity, revealing who I was and most of all, revealing to the members of the White Fang, that I was once a part of them.
"Mistress Akira! You're alive! Your Uncle said you were killed by an Ursa that he defeated," one said.
"Just my point," I said continuing to fight them, "he's going to destroy you all, just like he destroyed my family!"
Before they could do anything else, I went above to stand on a raised crate of Dust. They were here for the Dust, not me. They knew precious cargo when they saw it. Without knowing it, Torchwick shot at the lines holding it up, I was about to fall.
"Akira! No!" it was Yoko, coming out of nowhere with five extra tails catching me and landing on the ground, "You're safe, that's a good thing."
"This isn't your fight though Yoko, it's mine," I said.
"Akira, why did your eyes…turn golden-yellow?" Yoko asked.
No…my semblance, I can't have it activate now, holding it in for so long would be the worst mistake, but using it now, I can't have that happen.
"It's nothing," I lied then noticing someone else here as well, "Why is Penny here?"
More White Fang members jumped or fell to the ground, surrounding us.
"I'll explain later," Yoko said, "Right now, this is our fight."
We continued fighting them, it didn't matter if they stopped, they were a threat, and when all of them were unconscious; we joined Ruby, Blake and Sun, waiting for our teams. Yang and Weiss were already looking for Blake and I had to tell the rest of my ream to meet us on the docks on a Scroll Message. After I sent the message, Yoko told me that Penny was helping Ruby find Blake.
(Raven POV)
"This can't be good," I said looking at my scroll.
"What is it?" Sky asked.
"I have to go meet Akira at the Docks, something must have had happened," I said getting up.
"I'm coming with you," Sky said.
"Are you sure about this?" I asked.
"Yes, I'm sure," Sky said.
(Akira POV)
"Akira, are you sure about 'being fine'? Your semblance almost kicked in," Blake asked.
"I know, I'm fine," I said.
"How long have you been holding it in?" Blake asked.
"Ever since I left the White Fang, so more than five years," I said.
"Akira, you have to let your semblance activate," Blake said with concern, "something bad will happen to you if you don't activate it soon."
"But if I do, then how many will die? You remembered when we were younger, I almost killed Adam Taurus, a few members AND my family," I said, "I just don't want anything bad happen to anyone close to me."
"But will you kill yourself then by holding it in?" Blake asked.
"Maybe, but it's still there," I said, Blake knew what I meant, "If I did, then my Uncle will know where I am and who knows about how many will die then."
Shawn and Raven came by the time Weiss and Yang came but I was surprised too.
"Why is Sky here?" I asked.
"Um, a different story, I'll explain later," Raven said, "The real question is how are you doing?"
"Fine," I said, "if only it wasn't the White Fang that showed up and just Torchwick, then everything would have been peachy."
"So…why are you upset that the White Fang was involved?" Sky asked.
"I'll tell everyone some other time," I said.
"So, about Sky," I said.
"Sky and I are technically secretly dating," Raven said.
"When did this start out?" I asked.
"When you were asleep, left a note saying we could spend our weekend doing whatever we wanted and I went to the cafeteria, got my breakfast, bumped into Sky, ran away from him and he found me with a picnic basket with breakfast inside and an apology," Raven said.
"Okay," I said.
"You're not mad, upset or even both?" Sky asked.
"I've been learning to tolerate interactions between human and Faunus. My adoptive parents were different as well, one Tiger Faunus, the other human, I'll be okay with this relationship," Akira said.
(Livius POV)
"Master, we found her," a grunt said.
"Excellent, we'll retrieve her soon enough," I said.
