Chapter 25 Uncle Tuk?

(Akira POV)

"So remind me again why were in Vale…again?" Yoko asked.

"We'll I suppose you're the only one who I can trust to keep my secret since you haven't told any of mine yet," I said, "but I was thinking of getting an early gift for Blake."

"As in a birthday gift?" Yoko asked.

"Well we never really celebrated birthdays that often with everyone," I said, "but I have someone keeping it on hold for me."

"And how do you know this person exactly?" Yoko asked now concerned.

"Do I need to answer that before we get there?" I asked, "Besides, we're almost there."

"Tukson's Book Trade, why didn't I see this coming," Yoko asked, "well they better have something good for mythology."

"Come on, let's go in before we draw attention," I said walking in and heading to the counter as Yoko was looking for anything involving mythology.

Waiting at least a minute or two, I rang the bell and coming out of his office was who I was looking for, a familiar face.

"Welcome to Tukson's Book Trade, home to every book under the sun," he said behind a stack of books, "how may I-Akira it's nice to see you again."

"You too Tukson," I replied.

"I still can't believe you're alive," Tukson said.

"My uncle has been telling too many lies for his own good," I said, "Anyways do you have what I'm looking for?"

"Yes, a hardback copy of Violet's Garden, and seeing how it is for Blake, I have a gift for her as well," Tukson said taking out another book.

"The Third Crusade? But how? Why?" I asked.

"I was thinking that it would be in better hands than leaving it for anyone to get," Tukson said.

"But isn't this the only copy you have?" I asked.

"Yes," Tukson said taking the two books and wrapping them in a simple silver and lilac wrapping paper, "but I know as much as you do about how much Blake wants to read it."

"If you say so," I said taking the now wrapped books, "but if this comes to haunt you, just be careful okay?"

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine, I've been fine since the last few years, I could handle a few more," Tukson said.

"Hey Akira I found something," Yoko said then looking at Tukson, "is he Blake's father?"

"Not really, she's a cat and Tukson's a…puma right?" I asked.

"Yes," Tukson said, "and I'm not really sure if I am Blake's father though, we found her as an orphan when we took her in."

"Oh, well, how much for this?" Yoko asked holding out the stack of books he had.

"Sixty Lien. It's a small discount seeing how you're a friend of Akira," Tukson said.

"Hey Yoko, I'll be waiting outside okay?" I asked

"Sure," Yoko said as I headed outside to wait.

(Tukson POV)

"So you know Akira?" I asked.

"Yeah, she's my teammate, well leader if you want to be accurate," Yoko said as he paid for the books, "So I'm assuming you were from the White Fang…right?"

"Yes, how would you know that? I don't remember you at all," I said getting tense.

"She told me about her past, but I'm kind of worried about her," Yoko said, "after finding out about a device that was planted onto her, I wasn't sure what her uncle will plan next."

"Livius was a deranged Faunus whose hobby is apparently misguiding others," I said.

"Livius?" I asked.

"It's her uncle's name, Livius Fang," I said, "only thing is she hate's hearing that name so anyone who knows about her past does whatever they can to not say it in front of her."

"I should be going now," Yoko said taking the books, "I won't tell anyone."

"Okay, just watch out for any threats okay?" I asked as he left.

"I will," he said.

Just a minute after he left, I was back in the office taking out more books as the bell rang again. When I turned around, I saw the familiar, cross-dressing Rat Faunus with dichromatic eyes.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Oh I was looking for Mistress Akira, that's all," he said.

"She just left now please, I need to get back to work," I said.

"Aww…can you tell me where she went?" he asked.

"You know as well as I do that I'm not going to tell you," I said as I heard the door opening and closing.

With nothing to do, and no other choice, I had to go back to what I was doing earlier, reorganizing books until the door opened and closed as two sets of familiar footsteps followed afterwards.

(Akira POV)

Holding tightly to the two books I was running back to where I last saw Blake which was the cafeteria while Yoko was keeping up at least until I spotted Sun and…someone else…who is he exactly?

"Hey Yoko, do you mind going ahead and find Shawn and Raven for me? I'll catch up eventually," I said.

"Sure why not," Yoko said as he headed off to the dormitories.

I sped up a little just to catch up with Sun and his friend as I began to hear their conversation, were they talking about Blake?

"Sun, who's your friend?" I asked after tapping his shoulder.

"Oh Akira, this is my teammate, Neptune Vasilias," Sun said, "Neptune this is a friend I met here, Akira."

"So no last name?" Neptune asked.

"No, it's just a kinda sensitive subject," I said.

"Okay then," Sun said, "so we were going to the cafeteria so I could introduce Neptune to our friends."

"Okay then," I said as my ears flickered a bit to a human being thrown at a window and the window not shattering. What's going on anyways?

As we went in, most of the students were fleeing from a food fight, between RWBY and JNPR. On second thought, I'll just wait until they get back to their dorm to give it to Blake later. When the rest of the team came back we all held questions about the upcoming dance and other things.

"So, any plans for the dance?" Yoko asked.

"I'm going to slip away as soon as I can with Sky so CRDL doesn't find out about us yet," Raven said. She was the only one with actual plans for the dance, as for the rest of us; we had no clue of what to do.

"Other than the dance, I heard that Professor Indium is back, do you want to go see her in the morning?" Shawn asked, "Then we'd have the entire day to work on our weapons and any armor if we need it."

"Okay then," I said, "we'll take care of our lack of weapons tomorrow."
