Yaoi: Sorry for the delay peeps life has kicked my ass and I've been hella busy/lazy about writing but with a new job and evil ass roommates things get a bit hectic. Anyways just trying to ease myself back in and thought I'd get the baby shower out of the way so do enjoy.

Naruto had died and gone to Candy Land.

Everything in the living room was either Pastel Pink or Powder Blue, and that wasn't an exaggeration he means EVERYTHING; the tables, the streamers, the balloons, the wall decorations, the large spoofs of glitter that seemed to be completely everywhere, the cups, the plates, the utensils, napkins, and hell even the food.

Then up came Sakura and Ino.

Shockingly Sakura was wearing all blue while Ino was in pink, there was a moment of sheer panic that he was in an alternate dimension somehow but once the initial shock wore off he allowed to girls to drag home through the house.

"Welcome Naruto to your, not so surprise, baby-shower!" they both said as the grabbed his arms and towed him into the house, a disgusted looking Kurohi walking in behind him.

Everyone was there, everyone that he cared for anyway, Neji, Sai, and Sasuke were chatting in a dark corner, Tenten and Hinata were talking with a hyperactive looking Lee and Gai, Iruka and Kakashi seemed to be in the midst of an argument, while Genma and Kotetsu were standing nearby seeming to watching Iruka bicker at Kakashi.

Shikamaru and Choji were sitting on a powder blue sofa with Shika looking to be napping while Choji scarfed down a bowl of chips, Shino and Kiba were talking as Akamaru took a nap in the corner with Kiba sitting beside his now huge canine companion.

Asuma and Kurenai were cuddled up on a pink sofa as they talked amongst themselves, their little girl fast asleep on Asuma's lap.

Tsunade and Jiraiya were having a drinking contest with Shizune, begrudgingly, as the judge.

Konohamaru and Haku were chatting in against a wall with Zabuza at least a foot away from the two looking out a window not really paying attention, all in all a very swinging party.

Twitching just a tad, Naruto felt very unsettled about the whole situation. Gaara came into the room from the kitchen carrying a tray of pink and blue drinks, he almost completely covered in pink and blue. There were streaks of pink and blue in his hair, his normal attire was replaced with a pink and blue shirt with a matching mesh undershirt over a pair of half pink and half blue pants.

He looked like a confused pregnancy test.

Naruto wanted to be the kind of mate that would always be on the side of his mate, no matter what the situation was or if his mate was in the wrong or not. He always saw himself protecting and never looking down on his mate, however, when those lovely jade eyes looked at him full of; mortification, embarrassment, and a hint of burning anger, alongside a twinge of fear.

Naruto let the laughter roar out of him.

For almost five minutes Naruto just laughed his head off, poor Gaara just stood there and let his pregnant mate laugh his little blonde head off.

Finally coming to grips with himself, Naruto looked at his mate with a wide smile carved into his face.

"How did they even get you to the getup?"

Gaara's eye twitched as he eyed said girls on each arm of his love.

"With horrifying persuasion."

Cheshire cat grin in place, mood clearly lifted, Naruto just smiles at his mate and lets the girls take him around the room saying hello to everyone.

With the greetings out of the way, the games started;

The Diaper Relay, became a room full of laughs as even the three emo's gave it a shot, however, even with parental experience Asuma and Kurenai lost to the very busty Hinata.

Next was the Safety Pin (Forbidden Baby) game where everyone gets a safety pin and the word baby is not to be said otherwise the person who catches you saying it gets your safety pin and the one with the most or all the safety pins at the end of the party wins, and not too shockingly the winner was Shikamaru.

The Dirty Diaper game, where mushed or melted food is put into clean diapers and everyone that wants to play has to guess what's in each diaper, the one with the most correct wins. Though the game from the outside in seemed disgusting it's was a very delectable and hilarious game which of course ended with Choji as the victor.

There were several rounds of Baby Telephone, where everyone sits in a circle with the "mother" to be at the end , the starting person whispers a piece of advice to the next person and that person to the next and so on until it gets to the expecting mother. The game ended with Naruto fully flushed from laughing so hard at the jumbled mess the messages came out to.

A round of Draw the Baby was played, the participants are blindfolded and given sheets of paper and a pencil and are to draw a baby, the most recognizable baby picture being the winner. Sai of course winning with a perfect baby with a raccoon mask and fox ears all appropriately place, so the game had no repeats…..and Naruto stole the picture to frame later.

A few rounds of Name That Nursery Rhyme , after a few debates on if some of the mentioned rhymes were actually true or not the rounds were won by; Tsunade, Shizune and Kurenai, though not precisely in that order.

Lastly the Belly string game was played with Gaara not being able to participate, nor was Tsunade able to play either. Of all people, Jiraiya and Kakashi were the winning ninjas, which was weird all on its own.

Then there were the presents.

There was a barrage of; diapers, carrying slings, formula, toys, gender neutral clothes, baby towels, strollers, baby bottles and other baby utensils. Thanks were given to the respected quest as each gift was shown off the gathering of ninjas. After a few pictures here and there with the said presents. The presents were quickly put away.

Then came the cakes.

For everyone there minus Tsunade and Gaara the genders of the babies where still a mystery. So what Sakura and Ino then devised was to bake two cakes; one blue and one pink, and have Naruto take three slices.

Looking around at the loving makeshift family of his coming to an end at Gaara, whom smiled at him as the cakes were brought out and put before him.

Grabbing the cake knife from Ino and stood over the cakes, sinking said knife into the left cake Naruto pulls off a nice large piece of blue cake and hands it to Gaara with a smile. Turning back to the cakes Naruto then moves over and takes a nice large piece of pink cake, and hands it to Ino who squeals in happiness. Moving back to the cakes once more waving the knife over the two cakes teasingly, finally sinking down into the cake again Naruto takes a nice healthy piece of blue cake and handing it to Sakura as everyone in the room bursts into cheers.

Smiling like a lunatic, Naruto leans over to Gaara as the girls take over cutting up the cakes and passing it out to the rest of the guests.

"Two boys and a girl how do you think we'll manage?"

Smiling at his ray of sun, Gaara placed his hand on the almost firm belly of his mate and smiled.

"I think we'll manage just fine."

With the party winding down and several people leaving, Naruto was stuffing his face as his seven month belly demanded. Gaara at some point was able to put on his normal black and maroon shirt and black mesh undershirt with beige pants. Sighing and settling down on the couch next to his love, Gaara snagged a fingertip of cake frosting as he leaned against his Naru.

"Today was a hard and long day." He said as he licked off the frosting.

Naruto just snickered, "That's what she said."

Gaara smirked, "She?"

Naruto just batted his eyes at him, "Well more like me."

Gaara just smiled while leaning into his blonde, placing his hand onto Naru's belly.

"That's good to know."

The couple just relaxed and watched as Hinata, Tenten, Ino and Sakura straighten up the house, magically there wasn't a single spec of glitter found anywhere. Once the house was virtually spotless, the gang saddled up and transported all the presents and most of the remaining food to the boy's apartment.

Once everything was put away and all the goodbyes where given the happy couple sighed and slumped down on, exhaustion and plain tiredness just catching up to them both. Kurohi just curled up on his ruby red "fox" bed that could fit a full grown bear.

Looking over to Gaara, Naruto gave him a nudge, "Shower?"

Gaara just stared off into space.

"Gaara?"

"Do you think…I'll be a good father?"

Turing more towards Gaara, Naruto took his hand into his lap and looked him in the eye.

"You'll be an amazing father, the guy that helped bring you into the world will never be you. You are gentle and caring and the most loving guy I know outside of Iruka-sensei and we both know that man can get scarily loving. You will be an amazing father and I know we'll do just fine."

Gaara looked into deep crystal blue eyes and just relaxed.

"I love you Naru."

"I love you too sandman."

Smiling he laced his fingers with Naruto and helped him up and led him to their room.

"So how about that shower?"

Naruto just laughed.

Yaoi: Gaara got all emotional at the end there, I might get a little more touchy with the emotions with these two the closer to the delivery I get them but now we know 2 boys and a girl that's my personal preference and well we'll see what happens next chapter. I hope to get to it soon. Ttfn tata for now.
