"Alright...yes I understand...thank for you time,"

"Still no word?" Arthur inquired from a deep leather sofa.

"I'm afraid not," Matthew sighed in reply pocketing his home. "Alexa, or anyone resembling her hasn't been found around the border, though chances are she may have slipped by under the radar," he shrugged sadly.

"She hasn't been spotted on any of the planes that had flown out to any other country," Francis reported from the recliner he was seated in. "She doesn't seem to have made it out of the country yet," he concluded sadly. The trio fell silent at this, the only sound was Kumajiro's small breaths as he slept next to Arthur on the couch.

"You don't think she's-"

"No she's not!" England cut off France before the frecan could finish speaking. "We would know if she was," his words caught in his throat for a moment before he continued. "Dead," he forced out. "She's still out there and we have to find her,"

"Though we can't do anything unless our bosses okay on sending in troops to break up the parties," Matthew reminded Arthur. "Not to mention the meeting isn't scheduled for another two months," once again the three fell silent trying to decide what to do.

"Your really worried about her huh?" Canada spoke up seeing how distressed Arthur was. All Matthew got in reply was silence. After a few more moments of thick silence Arthur sat up, waking Kumajiro, shouldered on his coat and left without another word.

"Was it something I said?" Matthew asked clearly confused at what had happened. Francis merely sighed tired, rubbing the bridge of his nose.

"Don't worry Matthew," Francis smiled softly. "Arthur is just trying to get through some thing's. Like all of us are." Matthew still looked confused.

"Think of it this way," Francis offered. "Alfred and Arthur always had a love/hate relationship with each other. A lot of things went unsaid between the two of them. Then once Alfred was gone, those things were left unsaid. Though now that Alexa is here Arthur is thinking it is a way for him to say all those things. Though with everything as it is now, he is afraid the whole process will repeat itself."

"Though Alexa isn't Alfred," Matthew put in.

"That's something Arthur is having trouble realizing," Francis nodded suddenly looking like a man twice his age.
