Percy looked at Artemis worriedly. She seemed so fazed. She was fazed. All the thing's she's been told. It's been one hallelujah of a discovery. "P-perseus" She says. "Your telling me that if," Artemis says thinking about the Weakness of the gods. "If—"

She wasn't able to finish that sentence because at that millisecond, Percy suddenly shot up as if he was banged by a million alarms. He flinched and then Artemis felt buzzes of warnings too in her system. What is this, she thought?

"We're going to need to continue this later, My Lady," Percy says and grabs her hand as she teleported them back to the hunt at the same time Artemis recognized the sensation she felt: maidens were in trouble.

Weird, L thought. He bristled and jumped from tree to tree. He searched the near by woods thoroughly. He could've sworn he felt Percy's presence somewhere. He felt Nico's presence in one of the igloos. But. Where was Percy? He spotted something that glinted down below. L immediately swooped down. And whatever it was, it jumped up to L as he went down as if to attack him. Uh oh.

He was tackled down in midair and found himself below the giant beast. And then it licked him in the face. "Akuuuu" L groaned. Aku got off of L and L got up. If Aku was here where was Per—

WHAT THE HELL?! L's internal alarm system broke lose in his head. He rushed back to camp and Aku felt his aura and paced after him. It took him awhile to get back. Styx, styx, styx, styx, styx, he chanted the curse as he raced towards campsine. He soon reached the training igloos. But everything inside was normal. The Pack and the Hunt sparring with each other as if nothing actually happened. And in their minds, nothing really did happen. And that's why everything was so wrong.

"WHAT IN ZEUS'S BOLT IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU" L shouted at them and everyone turned to an abrupt stop and looked at him. The moment the Pack turned their attention into L they gasped and their eyes bugged out in realization. Oh gods, Oh gods, Oh gods, Oh gods.

"AND YOU ONLY NOTICED NOW?" L bellowed and all the Pack, although the hunters couldn't see it, paled. "HOW COULD YOU LET YOUR GUARD D—"

"Enough, L"

He was cut by a voice from a fire of column that appeared. It was gone as soon as they saw it and what replaced it was the Ace with the Goddess of the Hunt beside him. The Ace quickly went forward them. The Pack tried to say something but they were cut. "You're wasting their lives with the time you're using to tell us some excuses. All of you shut up," the Ace growled. They froze. They really messed up.

"Well? You heard the Ace about wasting time! What are you all waiting for? The yell of a damsel in distress? GO NOW" L barked and in the blink of an eye they were all equipping themselves with weapons.

"Don't bring anything heavy! We're going with speed and sharpness here!" L said and continued barking orders. The hunters couldn't react since this was actually happening in mere seconds.

"We've got a huge place to cover, but I won't risk a solo mission," the Ace shouted at them. "You'll be going on tw—" Ace was cut short

"No, threes. I want you on threes on the next half second, or by the gods you will all be spending alone time with Ares on his training days" L says and that seemed to motivate them

The hunters finally reacted. "What's happening?" Annabeth demanded. Percy gave the rest of the burden of command to L. He didn't want to add the task of explaining to the hunters to L's to do list. "There's a global rise on demigod crisis. I can feel it." Percy says urgently. "I feel the maidens all over the world," Artemis says a bit paled.

"HUNTERS FOLLOW ME DOWNSTAIRS" Percy yelled. He says and he doesn't wait till they respond. He just went around the Pack that was preparing like maniacs and lead them to the right of the igloo, then to the left, then on a dead end. Percy pounded his foot down causing the earth near them to quake and crack and a basement showed itself. "Quickly, follow me. We need to get ready. L will follow us shortly" Percy says and head down. Everyone else reluctantly follows.

The basement was dark till Percy lit his hands on fire and swung it around causing a good size of flames to dance around to the sides to light up the whole basement. The fire was hot white so it gave off a white light.

The basement looked like an operating room back in the 20th century. All the new hunters looked at it curiously. "This is a really old model," Annabeth whispered-commented softly but Percy heard her and his century old instinct cut him in and he answered his best friend, "L, the rest of us higher ranks prefer this most. But the room can be remodelled into any design just by the thought, though" he says as if talking to her was the most natural thing on Earth.

There really is something familiar about the way he talked, Annabeth mused as Percy scrounged about an old metal cabinet on the side. Beside the cabinet was a switch. He switched it on and flat holograms sprouted from the walls of the basement. It seemed to show what was happening about a certain range outside their camps and the happenings inside their camp.

It showed L barking orders and in the next few seconds, three by three, the Pack seemed to teleport away to god knows where. When all of them were gone, the screen showed L hurrying towards the basement. Percy found what he was rummaging in the cabinets seconds ago.

L had entered the basement and the last step of the flight of stairs he jumped and slammed his fist on the ground. He landed near the end of the basement and out of his fist spout what seemed like a communication system. Screens were all over the place and in the middle was a pair of wings (kinda like the wing design in the cover of the Kane Chronicles) and the screens opacity were adjusted to L's liking. The two snakes embroidered the screens. Each one sprouting to design either the left or the right. They formed a design that would've made Salazar Slytherin jealous.

L typed and hacked away and seemed to be barking orders to no one but voices responded from the screens.

"What's happening?" Artemis says. She gets the gist of the situation. But her scope was only for the maidens. It seemed much more than that. Ace answered, "There's something up. Multiple monsters started spouting off from nowhere. And it wasn't like they spouted off where demigods are. It's more like, their so many it wouldn't matter where the demigods are, there'll be monsters at everyturn. Shoot, this is so messed up."

"Ace!" L barked. Percy responded by throwing him the canister he was playing with his hand. It glowed a good amount of energy. L caught it without even looking anywhere but the screen. He jammed it to the communication system that he created out of nowhere.

"I can't interfere," Artemis paled. "How can we help!" the hunters chimed in. "You can't. It's all over the world, and if Lady Artemis started teleporting you to everywhere, it'll only confuse L more." Percy says as he fiddled with a new canister.

"What's he doing?" Artemis asked. "He's telling the Pack where to teleport next and info on the next monster" Percy asked. They asked him about why they can teleport. "Their blessed with some teleportation skills. Some, but not much, not to the point of continuous teleportation on a global scale, heck not even on a continuous continental scale"

"But you just said they were!"

"Yeah they are" Percy said

"But you just said they couldn't!"

"Yeah they can't"

"But!"

Oh jeez, L though even with all the multitasking he's doing. He pitied the hunters for being left with Percy to have an explanation.

"I said they couldn't but they could though, if they had help, like I'm giving them right n—"

"Ace!" L growled throwing him a canister while not looking, Percy threw L the one he was fiddling with and caught the canister from L. He started fiddling with the new canister.

"As I was saying before mister rude-y mc leader rude interrupted me without please—"

"IM BUSY. J! GO TO CANADA RIGHT NO—"

"WITHOUT PLEASE!" Percy shouts at him and L groaned and decided to ignore Percy. "The canisters I'm passing him are filled with my energy so they can like, cope with the teleportati—"

"Ace!" L growled again and threw him a canister so fast that it hit Percy in the head as he threw the other canister back to L. "THAT HURT DAM IT" L ignored him

Percy rubbed his head as he induced the canister with energy again and yawned, "Man, this is tiring me out" he says while thinking where the heck is Thalia and Nico? I can't supply them more energy for this long with my barrier still…well…still barring me! From my energy!

Artemis seemed to notice this. "Are there more canisters?" she inquired and was told that there were loads in the cabinet he got it from. Artemis took a dozen in her hands and started inducing them with energy too.

"This is just inderct interference. The Laws will stand with it" she says. Percy sighed a relief.

"HOLY MOTHER OF A BITZ" L says as he is starting to get overwhelmed. Percy read the screen. It was a map of the world with icons on it showing videos of what's happening to his brothers. It was encrypted so the hunters barely understood.

Shit, Percy thought. At this rate, there'll be causalities. Only L has the ability to manifest the screen. It kinda went with his parentage. So it had to be him to operate. But it'd be ideal if a Athena kid was here. Oh how he wished for the millionth time he hadn't selflessly avoided Annabeth to be dragged into this mes—

Wait a moment!

"Annabeth!" Percy says. Annabeth held her stormy gaze towards the Ace. But he suddenly turned around and said "L! Decrypt it to CODE W! NOW" Ace barked. "NO PLEASE?" L muttered. "KARMA'S A BITZ" was all percy scoffed. And L snorted "on it"

"Annabeth, c'mere!" Percy says and grabs her softly by the hand. "Now just stare at my flame" Percy's hand burst into a flame and Annabeth seemed like in a trance for 5 seconds and then, "Now try looking at the screen" he asks Annabeth

Annabeth's eyes widened. She understood the screen. The positioning. The tactics. Where this soldier (or in other words a Pack member) was. The level of their danger. The place. Their surroundings. The energy levels. Everything. She understood how to operate.

"I got this" she says and L grins inside his hood. Good ole' Annabeth.

"I'm joining the fun," L says and disappears at the same time a new dot appears on the screen and Percy says "NO FAIR" as he induces energy to another canister.

After a quarter of an hour, three by three, the pack members teleported to the basement. All had cuts here and there and were injured.

They were about to drag themselves upstairs when the hunters did the surprising thing—without Artemis's commands. They helped the "boys" towards the stairs of the basement saying "where's the medic wing in this igloo? We'll patch you up"

So as soon as the Pack members appeared here and there, they were brought to be treated by the hunters.

Once the commotion died down, L had them gathered in the common room of the igloo. L had explained that this was one of their emergency plans in case something like this was to happen. The plan was simple. Defeat the monsters. Take the kid near enough to a satyr in a manner as if the demigod was the one who found the satyr or went near the place where the satyr was and then leave to save the next demigod. In this way they would not alarm the Olympians of their aid to them.

"Congratulations," L growled at the assembled Pack. The hunters were at the sides watching. They had been forced to stop healing them for this assembly. L's tone was anything but congratulatory. "There were no casualities," he says and at this the pack sighed in relief

"Despite our lack of punctuality," L adds. The Pack cringed. "Despite the fact that your senses were dulled" and then they cringed again "Despite the fact that you were too lax and felt too at home to realize the alarm system in your bones" and then they cringed some more "and despite the fact that if any of you had just felt it a bit, a millisecond sooner, those demigods would have lesser scars right now" and that, my friends, is what caused the aura around the pack that seemed to scream: the worthless wants to suicide. L was right. They were too careless. As Hestia's, goddess of family's, warriors, they should have felt the tug from the mass demigod danger since all demigods where family related in some way.

L scoffed. "Just go heal yourselves. Hestia wouldn't want you injured despite your lackings." The Pack got up gloomily. The Hunt thought L was being too hard on them. "For Mars' sake, don't get it too your heads that just because there were no causalities, this was okay. Learn from your mistakes," L added.

"And thank the hunters, and especially Annabeth. If it weren't for her guiding where the right place all of you were to go, there WOULD be causalities," L barked. And they all bowed to Annabeth and the hunters and thanked them (which kind of surprised the hunters since the Pack remembered to thank them).

"Now stand up!" L says and they cringe as they did. "And stand tall! Hestia would be proud. And you did Lord Mars good! Now get your sorry asses healed already in the medic wing!" L says and grins at them.

Artemis murmurs, "He's a good leader," to Percy. Percy gave her a lopsided grin. "He is our leader"
