Week 13: The Blackest of Fridays, Part I
Starring: Butch, Boomer, Buttercup, & Brick
Location: Townsville Mall
It wasn't a normal black Friday this year it was different. Townsville mall wasn't ready for the nonstop shoppers to well stop so they decided to have multiple black Fridays for a whole month and the very last Friday of that month would be the darkest Friday everything in the store was 75% off even the new pear phones…did I mention that there are only five in existence? Yeah that parts kind of important. There are four ways to get what you when it comes to the darkest Friday.
One strategy would be exactly that strategy. Brick was an A student and a major shoe in for valedictorian even though he still had about two years to go before he even graduates. Brick decided to go out to the store a day ahead and hide all the things he wanted so that he was the only one that knew where it was but alas that didn't solve his pear phone problem, Brick couldn't hide that so he of course came up with another idea. Brick found a set outside of the store and got comfortable on the ground. Brick was going to wait; he was going to wait till the next day when the store opened so that he could be the first to get in and the first to get the all new Red pear phone.
Another strategy that could be used to get what you want would be to be chaotic. Butch was not there to play games; Butch was there to make memories and to earn scars. Butch was the guy at major events that people like to stay away from. Butch was far from afraid to take something from a little kid, if it was because it was his to just so that they would cry he didn't give two dog poops. Butch spent his day looking in the mirror at his 'good looking self.' Butch had a large cut on his face from the last black Friday and expects nothing less for the blackest of black Friday. Butch plopped down on his bed before drifting off to bed… it was going to be a long day tomorrow.
The next strategy that you could use to get what you want is sex appeal. Buttercup wasn't the type of girl to dress all sexy for a guy to notice her but the perks are legendary. All Buttercup had to do was flash a cute smile and the boys will basically get the shit you want for you! Buttercup went shopping in her little sister's closet. Her little sister had mostly blue so she settled with a little black dress. She wasn't one hundred percent sure about the dress at first but just said 'fuck it' and took it back to her room and on her dresser for tomorrow. She sat down and sat on her bed with a bowl of popcorn in her lap deciding to end her day with a comedy/action movie.
The last strategy that could be used is pure kindness. Boomer was the type of guy that was just nice to people so it came naturally. On the first blackest of Friday Boomer got all the things he wanted for just being nice. One of the employees got injured on the job so the manger hired Boomer for the rest of the busy day and guaranteed he would get all the items that he wanted this time for 80% off except for 75. Another time a woman let him go ahead of her because he held her spot for her when she had to use the restroom. Not a lot of people could pull it off but Boomer could. Boomer wouldn't be surprised if someone let him have their pear phone because of his kindness.
