(A/N: Surprise! Still not dead. This chapter kind of gave me fits. I've actually been working on it since a certain court decision was made since this is my only gay/lesbian oriented story…for the time being anyway. So despite most of the PMs I got urging me to update my Harley Quinn and Tarot stories, I insisted on doing this one first. Took a couple of weeks but hey, it's done. That's the important thing. I do appreciate your patience in waiting for me to get this story out, not that you really have a choice, but I still appreciate it. As usual, I'll try my best to get the next chapter out sooner rather than later. As I said in the previous chapter, no technical naughty in this one. Hope you still like it.)

"Please don't say that.." Alice said, with a groan.

Jasper chuckled. "I don't mean to jinx it, I'm just saying that it seems that the issues there were surrounding Bella seem to be-"

"That still counts as jinxing it!" Alice rolled her eyes. "Especially when it comes to Bella."

"She does seem a lot happier now." Carlisle chimed in, changing the subject. "Not to say she wasn't happy with Edward, but-…"

"She's more confident about her happiness." Esme replied to a chorus of agreements. The Cullens weren't exactly sure how it started, but when they had been doing their own things as usually to keep themselves busy, the subject of the changes in their family recently came up and it ended up becoming quite the indepth conversation.

"I have noticed that." Jasper stated. "She was happy before, but now she seems to feel…she deserves it."

"Her confidence is a nice change of pace. She was always so…awed…I guess would be the best way to put it?"

Esme nodded in agreement. "Did you notice the changes in Rosalie as well?"

"I don't think Jasper has much choice in the matter." Alice replied, playfully nudging her husband.

"Between her and Bella, they have been practically beating me with their happiness….and…other emotions…" Not to say Jasper wasn't used to it. He was part of four pairs of couples. Six when the wolves and Nessie came to visit. It was an eventuality, especially with Rosalie and Emmett. They were just a very…sexually charged couple, and Bella seemed to fit right in with that, surprisingly enough.

"I'm not going to say that I was exactly its biggest fan in the beginning but their relationship does seem to be better for both of them. They're in love, and there's never anything wrong with that. You can't help but to smile when you see the two of them together…um….three of them together would be more accurate I suppose…" Esme gave a coy smile.

"I couldn't have said it better myself." Carlisle responded. "I guess things just work out the way they're supposed to, regardless of how they start."

"That is a very optimistic way to see the whole thing…" Jasper stated.

"I think we're due some optimism, honestly." Esme replied. "For one, I was truly worried for Bella once I found out that she slipped up. She's so kind hearted for a vampire. I know it killed me inside the one time I did it."

Carlisle leaned over, putting his arm around his wife. "You used that to make sure it wouldn't happen again. It looks like Bella will be doing something similar. I don't see any other slip ups in the near future. She's been more careful than ever around humans."

"As far as I can see, we don't have anything to worry about from that side of things. You don't come across a blood affinity that strong very often." Alice pointed out, thoughtfully.

"Thankfully." Jasper muttered. "The wolves aren't exactly stupid. We lucked out that they haven't found out that Bella technically broke the tr-"

"THE WOLVES!" Alice suddenly shrieked standing up.

Her sudden outburst put everyone on edge, but it especially effected Jasper who could literally feel Alice's anxiousness. "Alice, what's wrong? What about the wolves?"

"I can't see them!" Alice began pacing back and forth as the other three vampires watched her intently. "Don't you see? Remember the night I told Bella about Edward joining the Volturi? I told you she gave up on it really suddenly. There weren't any residual plans or anything. I told you I was suspicious about it, but I couldn't think of any way she could have hid her plan since her shield doesn't work on me."

Jasper slowly nodded. "You think…that Bella might have made a plan that involved the wolves so heavily that there isn't a plan without them? So then you wouldn't be able to see it?"

"If that happened, the visions of her plan would simply stop. And as soon as I relaxed, she would have known to only refine those ideas."

"Hm…" Carlisle muttered. "I suppose Bella has grown devious enough to plan something like that. However, from the sounds of it, Bella's upstairs so there's nothing to worry about."

"That's only Rosalie and Emmett." Jasper corrected. "I can't sense Bella's emotions at all. Wherever she is, it isn't in the house."

There was a sudden and awkward pause between the four vampires as they looked back and forth to one another, obviously trying to figure out when the last time they saw Bella was. There was a sudden lack of noise upstairs and then a clothed Rosalie made herself known. Her clothes were hanging from her. Between that and her ruffled hair, most people would have looked a bit haggard, but on her it merely looked like she'd just been fucked really well, which was, of course, the truth. "I'm hearing Bella's name a lot down here and people are yelling. What's wrong?"

"Rose, do you know where she is?" Alice asked, eagerly.

"She's visiting her father." Emmett grumbled, coming down the stairs, obviously more irritated about being clothed currently than Rosalie was. "Let me guess, she's not actually visiting her father?"

"Would someone please tell me what's going on?" Rosalie asked, putting her hands on her hips, her eyes narrowed in irritation. Apparently having to stop mid coitus had not strengthened her patience.

"Alice is worried that Bella might be using the wolves in a plan to rescue Edward. A plan so dependent on them that she'd be blind to it." Jasper replied.

Emmett burst out laughing. "Like the wolves would help Bella save a 'leech', no matter how good the terms we may be on."

"What he said." Rosalie nodded, without the laughter. The concern on her face was quite plain. "Not to mention they almost never leave the reservation. I doubt they'd start by going to Italy."

"Bella's not with Charlie." Carlisle stated, hanging up the phone. "He said she told him that she was going La Push. She's probably just visiting Renessme. She spends most of her time over there, anyway." Carlisle's words hung in the air as he spoke. Once everyone absorbed the words, there was another very awkward silence as all the vampires present remembered that werewolves aren't the only race that Alice can't see.

"We're here." Renesmee said, removing Bella's blindfold.

Once she felt the blindfold being removed, Bella took out her headphones, which had been purposely blasting so loud she could barely think. She quickly looked around, seeing that she was on the Cullens' personal jet. "Well done, Nessie."

Renesmee rolled her eyes. "Alice can't see me. All I had to do was randomly sneak you onto a plane our family already owns. Not exactly the hardest thing in the world. Only way it would have gotten fucked up is on your side."

"Right…" Bella muttered as the two were strapped in and the plane started to take off. There was a very pregnant silence between them. While they'd talked since Edward left, short of Bella telling her of this plan, she'd been pretty sure that Resnesmee was avoiding her. It was a little hard to tell because she spent so much time away with Jacob and Seth anyway, but now that it was just the two of them, it was particularly obvious. "Nessie…we should really talk…"

"No worries, Mom." Renesmee shrugged. "I know, regardless of what I think about the Volturi, I need to be all respectful and everything. I'll even wear the fucking necklace, unless you should be wearing it since it was technically a gift for you. Whatevs."

"That's not what I meant." Bella sighed.

"I know what you meant." Renesmee replied, shortly. "How about we not talk? How about we just fly in silence, bring Dad back, and fly back in silence. That sounds awesome to me."

"Nessie…I know how awkward this has to be…"

"No, Mom. No you don't. You really, really don't." Renesmee growled, reaching for the headphones, which Bella pulled just out of her reach.

"I still love your father, and part of me always will, it's just…Rosalie makes me happy. She does have another side to her."

Renesmee rolled her eyes. "And you lick it vigorously every night, I know. Don't need all the details."

Bella's eyes bulged, that feeling of electricity going through her again as she started to retort but fell silent. Nessie had a tendency of being rather vulgar when she wanted but despite that, it was obvious that what she'd said was basically an attack, and if she was being that hostile, there wasn't really any point in continuing the conversation.

"I'm sorry, okay?" Renesmee continued with a long sigh. "Making people feel uncomfortable makes me feel better. It's a defensive thing. You're not the first one to try to have this conversation with me. Apparently, I've been acting really weird because everyone…and when I say everyone, I mean Granddad too, everyone has been trying to put a positive spin on the whole thing. But here's the thing everyone who talks to me about this tends to forget. I know Rosalie can be nice. I know she can be awesome. She was more like a second mother to me than an aunt. Jake always said she'd turn on me once I grew up and I always defended her and sure enough he was right. The moment I became an adult, her bitch switch hit and she treated me like everyone else. I just assumed he was right about the reason too."

"Oh Nessie…"

"But now I have to have in my head that maybe she was always in love with you and just saw me as her daughter. Everyone says I looked more like Dad as I got older. Maybe she just couldn't pretend anymore and when Dad was out of the picture, that's why she started being nice to me again."

"She-"

"Or maybe, it was because I looked more like you to begin with that she liked me in the first place. Maybe it had nothing to do with me being a baby. I know it's selfish. I should just be happy that you two are happy together. I mean, you obviously still care for Dad if we're doing this. But I can't help it. My mind won't turn off. It's just maybe after maybe after maybe. You two being together just added to it. And it's not like I can ask Rosalie, herself. She'd just lie. Everyone lies. We're not exactly being entirely truthful right now as well. Even if I find out the real reason, I won't believe it. Lying's part of being a vampire. I accept that, but it's so fucking frustrating sometimes! Especially when my power doesn't allow me to fucking lie! It's always the truth, and everyone immediately knows it. The closest I've ever gotten to a lie is showing something that hasn't happened yet, but I really want it to, which is still rooted in the truth."

There was another awkward pause before Bella let out a long sigh. "Oh, fine…"

Renesmee raised a sceptical eyebrow, snapping momentarily out of her thoughts. "…what…?"

"Making me feel uncomfortable makes you feel better so go on, let me have it."

"…wait…seriously?" Renesmee found herself flashing a toothy grin. It brought a worried smile to Bella's face, especially since she'd seen that smile on Jacob's face more than once and nothing good had ever followed it. The preliminary groan escaping Bella's lips only made her daughter smile more as she became thoughtful. You could almost see the lightbulb go off in her head. "So…you and Jake were pretty hot and heavy at one point, right?"

"…yeah…at one point…I guess…"

"So…you thought about having sex with him before then."

"…it crossed my mind in the past, yeah…please…please tell me you aren't starting to have feeling for him."

"Ha!" Renesmee barked. "No, just…no…that would be some fucked up shit. No, what I mean is, did you ever want to…you know…when he was phased?" Awkward didn't even begin to describe the following moment of silence.

Bella sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "Too late for me to pretend this conversation never happened, isn't it?"

"It's not technically bestiality…I mean, werewolves still think like humans after all…"

"Nessie…remember that thing you wanted to do earlier? That whole flying to Volterra in silence thing…?"

"I looked it up online and there's this whole fetish thing about it, and they don't even know werewolves are real, ya know? I mean, me and Seth fuck all the time anyhow, so why not do it in every possible way?"

"…Okay…let's ignore the fact that it is absolutely bestiality,"

"But-"

"It is. I'm ignoring it. If he's phased, won't every wolf who's also phased know exactly what's going on?" There was another pause, and Nessie simply grinned a little too widely, causing Bella to groan again. "Please tell me we're there…"

"So let me get this straight…" Jacob started, "…Bella made a plan with Ness that involved her so much that the pixie can't see it…and then they took your private jet and now they're on their way to Volterra on a suicide mission to rescue Edward."

"The mutt's got it in one." Rosalie snarled.

"I'm not a pixie…"

"Don't call us mutts, Blondie." Leah growled back. "Unless you want every bit of that pretty hair ripped out of your head."

"I don't think Bella would appreciate coming back to a bald girlfriend." Quill quipped with a smirk.

"She would just grow it back I think. Instantly, or something, right? Like a ticket dispenser?" Leah replied, her grin almost predatory.

"Fuck. You."

"We really don't have time for this." Carlisle interrupted, impatiently. "We need to stop Bella before she gets too far for us to help."

"I thought you said they took the jet." Jacob replied, ignoring the squabbling. "There's no way to catch up with them now, right?"

"We have another jet." Esme said, smiling softly. "Just in case something like this happened again. And obviously Bella doesn't know about it but we do need to go quickly."

"Well, in that case, we're going too." Jacob stated defiantly, as if already knowing that the decision wouldn't fly…which as it turns out was correct.

"Yeah, a bunch of wolves in Volterra, where all the most powerful vampires are in one place. Nothing can go wrong there." Rosalie rolled her eyes.

"Nessie's part of the pack." Seth pointed out, having tried to stay out of the discussion but feeling the need to join in now. "She's as much ours as she is yours. We want to help."

"We're going to help." Jacob insisted.

"I can shorten this argument." Alice crossed her arms. "Raise your hands if you have a passport."

"Oh like you can't get some fake ones made." Embry grumbled. "You must do it all the time."

"We're not witches. We can't just poof a fake passports out of nowhere. That takes time, and time is of the essence right now. If you don't have a passport, you can't go. That's not being mean that's just being realistic." Alice sighed.

"I have a passport actually." Jacob mumbled. "Nessie likes to travel."

"She really does." Seth chuckled, a knowing smirk on his lips as he raised his hand.

There was a bit of a pause before Rosalie let out a puff of air. "Fine! Those two can come, but can we go already? She's already going to beat us there, we need to cut the time difference already."

"Agreed." Carlisle nodded.

"Should we get passports for next time?" Embry muttered to Quill.

"What are the chances something like this will happen again?"

Leah let out a loud laugh at the question, which got a glare from Jacob and a chuckle from Emmett as they knew the chances were actually really high with the way things went when Bella was concerned.

"Please, Nessie…please…stop…" Bella pleaded, the desperation in her eyes.

"It was an accident the first time though." Renesmee continued. "I had him all excited with visions of what I wanted to do with him and then all of a sudden Seth bent me over and started fucking me like there was no tomorrow. Then he slipped out and when he put it back in…right up my ass. And I'm all, 'Well…I guess it's going to stay there now.' It's not like I'm a full vampire where it's like, why do you even have assholes. It's not like you have to use them for anything, might as well just shove a dick up there."

"Oh thank God! We're here!" Bella practically cheered as she looked out the window.

Renesmee's particular brand of torture ceased as she saw that the plane was descending. As she blinked, her demeanour changed. They were now in enemy territory, so the fun and games ended here. She looked at Bella and the two nodded in agreement. They were ready to leave the plane, when the door opened and someone else came through it. Both Bella and Renesmee were floored by her beauty, though they'd both seen her before. Though truth be told, when Renesmee saw her it was when the entire Volturi was converging to kill her and her entire family. She wasn't exactly able to take in her beauty. Heidi moved her long hair to the side as she flashed the two a warm smile. "Welcome to Volterra, Bella and Renesmee Cullen."

The fact that the Volturi apparently knew they were going to be there down to when and where the plane would land was more than a little worrying. Not to mention, Heidi seemed to be fully aware of who was on the plane in the first place. Apparently since their last visit, they'd kept extremely close tabs on which vampires were coming in and out of their city. As worried as they were, Renesmee flashed a smile right back. "Pleasure to meet you."

Bella nodded as well. "Heidi."

Heidi smiled back, giving Renesmee a curious look. Though her curiosity was quite understandable. It wasn't every day that you come across a vampire/human hybrid, even after the Volturi discovered their existence. "And what brings you here, if you'd be so kind?"

"I just wanted to show my daughter around Italy. I thought this would be the best place to start. I suppose while we're here we should pay the Volturi a visit as well?" Bella did her best to phrase it as more of a suggestion than a statement. Heidi had to know full well what they were doing here and she still asked like she didn't. So if they were going to play a game, Bella would play along.

"Indeed." Heidi answered, the smile remaining on her face. They could tell how countless humans had been lured in by such a woman, and why the Volturi would covet her so much. "Well, allow me to show you around. Tours of Volterra are my specialty." Her smile gave a slightly different edge this time, though it retained its inviting nature. It would be her specialty, considering how many humans she'd given a tour of Volterra, which ended up in the Volturi's castle. As Heidi spoke, Renesmee could almost feel the vampire's compelling influence. It was a very intriguing sensation. Usually she was the one who people felt compelled to follow. She wasn't use to someone with not only a similar ability but one that was arguably more potent. She glanced over to her mother, who was smiling kindly back with a nod of agreement.

"We would be honoured." Truth be told, she wanted to get to the Volturi as quickly as possible. They needed to get to Edward before the rest of the Cullens could figure out a way to get there, but she had to play the game.

"We could have your bags sent to your hotel, if you'd like." Heidi's smile gained yet another edge. She was fishing.

Bella chuckled. "We don't have any bags. This trip wasn't exactly planned. We just decided to go."

"Not a problem." Heidi answered, without even the hint of surprise. "We can work out some accommodations for you while I show you around. It's quite the beautiful afternoon. We'll be able to stay out in the open. Though I'm sure you already knew that."

"You're very kind." Renesmee smiled back, seeing if she could 'glamour' the vampire as well.

Heidi blinked, her eyes bulging for a fraction of a second before regaining herself. "It's my pleasure, young one. Follow me."

It was obvious that Heidi had done this plenty of times. Though this was most likely a way of stalling them and giving the Volturi plenty of time to prepare for their arrival, Heidi was extremely well informed of the sights as they passed them. You could almost forget the life and death danger you were in if you listened to her too much. She was informative but not boring, and it didn't come across as rehearsed. Even knowing the dangers, Bella was sure that if she'd still been human, she'd have been a dead woman walking. Vampires were very persuasive on their own, but at this level, it was a done deal. The two followed her, pretending to listen intently and enjoy themselves, until the tour ended where Heidi's tours always end. As they made their way into the castle, Heidi's presence once again almost made them momentarily forget about their situation. She had one main job and she did it very well. "Please, wait here while I see if the Volturi are ready to see you. If you need anything, Amanda will be happy to serve you." One more smile and a nod and the vampire was off behind the large doors.

Bella turned to nod towards Amanda, the human behind the reception's desk when her eyes practically bulged out of her head. She let out small gasp, which was quite possibly the worst thing she could have done at that particular moment. The delicious scent forced it's way inside of her nose. She didn't know how it was even possible. In fact, it was absolutely impossible, despite the fact that it was right there before her eyes. It was her! Or at least it looked and smelled exactly like her. She was a little more tanned and her hair was done differently but the resemblance was unmistakeable. And even though she only got a slight bit of the scent, it was that same ridiculously delicious scent she smelled in the park not so long ago. And this time, Rosalie and Emmett weren't there to stop her.
