Miaka POV
Where am I?... I was supposed at library reading "the universe of four gods" did i sucked into the book!? I need to go home right now! But I hesitate cause I remembered I was fought with mom... No miaka, you can't go home after mom do to you! Since I'm here and don't know anybody except that boy, I have to find that boy. After I walking around I saw a big Chinese castle in front of me. Wow this was like movie set, people around me was wearing Chinese clothes and looking me weirdly and confused whispering each other. "Hey she wearing such strange clothes" "I wonder where she come from" I don't care about them, i mean of course they think weird, a different world of course different clothes. and did they even whispering? I can heard it you know? But my mind stop think about then when I smell a delicious smell. My stomach singing now hehe. I walk toward mister sell a steamed bun buy one for myself. And i thought I must ask him about the ogre boy maybe he know where he is. "Mister did you see a good looking boy who had a red symbol ogre on his forehead?" "I dunno about him girl, but if you search good looking boy then he is in front of you" said the mister and joked around, nice joke mister. Then I paid to him and quickly run away "hey! What the hell is this money!?" "Is Japanese 100 yen money mister!" I quickly run away before he caught me, I just got pulled in this book how am I supposed have Chinese money when I was Japanese?
then I saw a familliar hair maybe that's the boy! I quickly run to him but soon I lost him cause he walk so fast. Then I begin ask people about him but no one know about him. Was no one know about his forehead? When i was about give up a guy was approached me and told me "I know where he is" thanks god finally someone know him and he asked to follow him but when he stopped on alley, my instinct say something bad happened, more men come out I was trapped in corner. One of them say "I heard foreign woman taste different" "we can sell her clothes" Oh god what if i get killed here? I can't see yui chan, brother, sis, mother anymore. Someone help me!
Narrator POV
Her forehead suddenly glowed red light and has symbol suzaku, the guys pull themselves away from her thought she was monster. Miaka feel weird and warm on her forehead when she touch the symbol the red light and the symbol slowly fainted. The men take a weapon try to attack her "you little! You gotta pay for this!" One of them use sword try to cut her. She waiting the pain of being cut, but it feels forever, she got curios and slowly open her eyes and saw the boy had ogre symbol on his forehead rescue her again. The men quickly run away from the boy. "I knew it was you, I heard from the people you been searching me?" miaka hug him tightly and slowly sniff on his chest "I scared... I'm really scared... I thought I will die..." He thought let her crying and calm down herself for few minutes. When she already stop crying he ask again. "So I heard you looking for me?" "That's right I want to see you" "what for?" But miaka don't know how to answer it both of them end up being silence. He started leaving and miaka quickly grab his legs, the boy end up falling on the ground. "Hey you-!" "To thank you! I realize I didn't thank you all the time, you saved me twice I feel like owe you" "don't need that just give me a money then you done, don't tell me you still broke!?" "Um..." "Stop following me and go home, I have important things to do" he started to leave again "WAIT!" "What is it now!? Stop" miaka cut his words and have a sad face said "even if i want to but I can't go home, I have a big fight with mom, I don't wanna be alone and I don't know what is this place..." The boys was speechelss and pity her in the same time. She continued " I don't have a money but I can help you work, so please don't leave me and let me owe you"
The boy thinking hard to make her leave him and he got an idea "ok, if you want to but you see the fancy procession there" he point to that soldiers and the carriage he continued say "inside the carriage there is the emperor of konan. If you could fetch some of gens from emperor crown, you can come with me, but of course that is imposib-" the boy stop his words and saw miaka run toward the carriage. "Wait you idiot! You think I was serious!?" Said the panicked boy "but if i can fetch it you can take me with you right?" Said miaka with smiley and run more closer to carriage and innocently ask "hey! The one from inside! Are you the emperor!?" The soldiers stop walking and yell at her "hey you! No one can rude to the emperor!" "Wait at minute, who are you?" said the emperor. "Emperor i'm sorry but if you were kind can you give me two gems from your crown?" Miaka innocently and kindly asking him. The boy was paled and more panicked run toward her while the guard was angry and all over miaka pointing their spears at her. One of them shouted her "Despicable! You make your own grave! Somebody kill her!" While miaka try to calm and said "Somebody save my life twice and I have to payback to him, come one just 2 gems and no more, don't be stingy!" And suddenly a smoke came up. In next moment miaka was in that boy arms and get scolded by him "you moron! I can't believe it, you really wanna die?" "You save me again, now I have to give you 3 gems" the boy was surprised her words and think she's cute "I'm Sou Kishuku, my nickname is tamahome, call me tamahome. You?" "I'm yuuki miaka, call me Miaka" "okay miaka you got guts I like it, I kept you for a while now" "really? But you already save me three times, I have to payback for you" "I already claim my reward" then tamahome give a peck on her forehead. While miaka blushing and her heartbeat throb rapidly nonstop.
The smoke was disappear the guards or the soldier saw them and try to seize them, but suddenly miaka forehead glowed again come out suzaku symbol. The people thought she was monster and get panicked while tamahome thought she was same with him had the red symbol but just different symbol. The emperor quickly order the guards to arrest them.
