Narrator POV
Under the emperor order, miaka and tamahome were imprisoned in the basement dungeon of the palace. Miaka was dreaming about her past when she was kid and come back from her school. She thought her family like usual welcome her but instead being welcome everyone gloomy face. She didn't know what happened, her sister cry sobbing nonstop knees on the floor , her brother just sit on the floor have a sad face, her mother just standing quietly on the corner while hide her own face so they can't see her expressions "sis? Why you crying? Why everyone sad?" Miaka curiossly ask them, her sister didn't answer her but just hug her tightly like she will gone away. Her brother calmly answer her while still sad face "miaka... Dad and mom are divorced" miaka shocked what her brother told her and look her mom still standing there didn't move, and she pull away from her sister hug walk toward her mother thinking try to calm her down with her words and wrapped her arms on her mother legs "mom, don't be sad.. i promise i'd do anything to make you happy so don't look so sad" her mother reply her with manly voice "but I am so sad" miaka susprised her mother voice and take a look on her mother face and it turned out tamahome face while looking so sad.
Miaka POV
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" And i open my eyes I saw tamahome so close to me while having frightened face and I was hugging him, I quickly pull away and make a distance from him. Thanks god it was a dream, I thought my mom transform to tamahome. Wait did I just hug him? Where am I? Ow I forgetting we were into the dungeon, i'm still in this book "There you are snoozing like a baby while we locked up in the palace dungeon, how could you still calm from getting throw into dungeon? Did you have a habit cuddle with someone while sleep?" He said with his tired panda eye, looks like he doesn't sleep a wink from last night till now? "I"m sorry for hugging you i was dreaming about my mom and I'm not always like that okay? And did you even sleep?" I tried to explain about my sleep and ask him "how could I can even sleep here On The Dungeon!? My mind from the last night is how I will be killed here! Anyway where are you come from? Why you here? What is the light from your forehead? I saw a suzaku symbol on your forehead" he was asking me a lot question but I can't answer him I mean how come I can tell him Hey I was from another world and i sucked into the book that I found on the library, like hell he can buy it duh. My forehead? I don't even know how it will be glowed itself even if is my own body. In the end I can't answer him and stare on the floor like I admired the floor. He saw how quiet I am and end up asking me another question " well whatever, forget about earlier question. what's up about your mom? You were tossing in your sleep" then I remembered my words on my dream, I promised to do anything make her happy but I end up said those awful things to her... Now I guilty "I dunno what's happening but you shouldn't too stubborn, make her happy as long she still alive" yeah he's right... If i can managed to come home I gotta apologize to her. "You are right I gotta apologize her. thank you, that's really help me, i'm impressed" "that's be five mon for counselling" he hands out for take my money whatttt? Are his mind just think about money? I end up slap his hands while huff him. But then he continued his words "after all kids care about their parents, and parents care about their kids" while looking me with sweet warm smile. My heart suddenly beats fast and blood like run to my cheeks and it's burn... What is this feeling...?
Narrator POV
"Your highness, why you haven't put them to death yet? They may be a demons" A palace guards ask the emperor, the emperor thinking loud and reply the guards "before we put them death we have to examined them first. That girl was dressed in foreign clothing, don't you think maybe she was the girl from the legend?" The guards frowned hear the emperor answer and he suddenly thought of something on the last phrase of the emperor. "Girl from the legend? Are your highness means the priestess of suzaku? But if i wasn't wrong, the folks said the girl glowed red light on her forehead and had a suzaku symbol" the emporer shocked about the guards words and he order "then she must be the priestess of suzaku, bring her with the boy to me!" "Yes sir!'
While miaka think ways to go home but the answer seems none and her stomach give a loud growl, she search her pocket thought maybe she had some snack and it was chewing gum and she come out an idea and chew the chewing gum. The guards saw her eating and ask what's inside her mouth, then... She blew up the chewing gum, the bigger the gum and the bigger guards fears. She blew until the gum popped and the guards fainting. Tamahome was amazed at miaka and quickly grabbed the dungeon keys from the guards body and they managed to get out from the dungeon. Miaka thought rather didn't payback him for saving her life and give him another chewing gum. "Are you sure you give me this incredible things!? No take backs okay?" Tamahome was very happy and thought about sell the chewing gum. Miaka thought "geez it's not even big deal and he make it like that was an expensive food" while they walking around to find the exit and found a sculpture it's exactly same the one miaka saw in the library and she asked him "what is that?" "It's suzaku" and he noticed miaka confused and he explained more "suzaku is one of the four god and he protecting our country konan. He appears as Phoenix, strange you don't even know suzaku but how your forehead has the symbol of suzaku? The four gods was suzaku seiryuu byakko genbu bla bla bla..." But miaka no longer paying attention at him anymore cause she smell a delicious food end up following the scent , while tamahome still explained about suzaku when he turn around miaka already gone.
Miaka POV
"Hm... Ah stop it miaka! You will get found out if you walking reckless! Eh where is this place?" I realize after I focus following the scent I lost tamahome and i was alone. Gosh I don't know where am i and tamahome anymore. The palace is too big and hallways look so much alike for God's sake! Then I heard a laughing voice behind me and when I turn around I saw a beautiful person smiling at me... But I get panicked more what if she gonna tell the guards!? I don't wanna go back to dungeon! And she told me she on my side and ask my name, I decide telling the truth cause she looked kind. And maybe she can help me out from this place and home. Then she ask me "so... Where are you come from? I believe you didn't do something bad cause from your looks you didn't look someone who can harm people?" I hesitate to answer but in the end I telling her the truth except about I sucked into the book. Then he surprise about me from another world, well I bet she won't believe me that. Why this happening to me? I thought being into this book I can escape my real life but end up getting more trouble. Suddenly she said "I believe you... Why don't you stay for a while? I believe the emperor won't kill you for no reason" while her fingers lingering on my cheeks. My heart pounding, what? Geez miaka seriously throb fast over a woman? We both were stare at each other with silence... Um it was really awkward and i decided break the silence "I was thinking you really beautiful you know?" "Ow of course I am everyone said that a lot hahaha, by the way i'm hotohori, you?" She answer proudly and asked my name "my name is yuuki miaka call me miaka" "where do you wanna plan to go now? If you looking exit then the exit is that way" I look the direction hotohori was pointing, it seems she telling the truth but tamahome was nowhere, I can't just leave and not care about him "thank you but did you saw tamahome? A boy was-" I unable to finished my words because I suddenly heard the guards approaching us, and I heard tamahome voice yell "let me go!" Oh god they caught tamahome! Then tamahome saw me and said "miaka run!" How could I run when you trouble here!? Then I said "hey! I'm the one who cause trouble here! He didn't do anything, release him and captured me instead!" One of the guards caught my arms, tamahome for some reason look pissed and his ogre symbol on forehead light up again and he kick the one caught my arms and said "one finger on her again you dead!" Then I heard hotohori said with demanded "by the order from emperor you are not permitted to touch them!" What? emperor? The guards where seem scared at her words stopped their movement, bowed down and in unison said your highness. The hell your highness she was a girl right? Even tamahome was shocked and stand still. I try to touch her chest check if she really was a girl but nothing on her chest, flat? Tamahome getting more shocked and yell at me "you idiot your majesty was a man!" Now i'm the one shocked, how the hell this man so beautiful like a girl!? And he prettier than me!
