" Focus ! " Elias commanded as he side-stepped Jaune's swings and cut the back of his leg, causing Jaune to stumble onto the ground in pain.

The others were merely watching the duel, or rather Jaune being put the sword. There were several reasons why they weren't helping Jaune.

For one, Jaune had begged and pleaded for them to keep out, no matter what but only Orion had disagreed with, though he himself was in no condition to do anything but watch and use Yang as a crutch.

Which led into the second reason, which was that they weren't suicidal. Orion imbued with the power of Chaos had been their best bet and now he could hardly stand, let alone fight.

Elias side-stepped another clumsy slash from Jaune and this time cut the muscles of Jaune's shield arm, causing him to drop his as his arm hung limply at his side.

" Your swordsmanship is sloppy. You hide behind that shield, you should have focused on your skills with a blade, but in the end it doesn't matter." Elias chastised Jaune as he struck him with the pommel of his sword, causing Jaune to fall back into the snow as the others simply watched in grief, except for Orion who was gripping his fist tight as weak embers began to flicker but quickly die. Yang noticed what Orion was up to and quickly elbowed him in the sides.

" Cool your jets, hot-head...There's nothing you can do if you can't even stand on your own."

Orion rolled his eyes and pushed of Yang but instead of standing like he had planned, he fell face first into the snow. " My body...just won't listen." he said through forced breaths as he tried to force himself to his feet to no avail.

Jaune weakly turned his head to see that Orion was likewise on the ground like him. Elias noticed this as well and sheathed his sword as he turned his attention to Orion who smirked in defiance even as Elias picked him up by his throat, all while holding the Book of Oblivion in his on hand and keeping it close to his chest.

" I admire your bravery. So young yet so steadfast and not a flaw in your courage." Elias commended Orion who only smirked before plunging a familiar red-bladed combat knife into Elias' side.

" From me to you..." Orion spoke in defiance as Elias threw him aside.

" Insolent little-"

Sun was the first to take the opening. He quickly closed the distance between him and Elias as he spun quickly and kicked Orion's knife deeper into Elias' side before being violently smacked aside, sending him crashing Yatsuhashi who luckily caught him.

Fox wasted no time striking Elias in the chest, tearing away at the intricate armor at Elias chest. He twirled around, slashing Elias twice more with arm blades before placing his closed fist at Elias' chest, sending an aura-enhanced shockwave through Elias' chest, causing him to spurt black blood.

Elias drew his blade almost two fast to see, and even faster considering the damage he took. Within moments he cut Fox from shoulder to hip. He then quickly his blade and raised his free hand to all those around him.

" Enough of your defiance ! " Elias said he released a fiery burning white light from his palm.

Within a blink, everyone was on the ground, coughing blood into the snow. Fox who was sprawled, and bleeding in front of Elias who's palm began to shine violently as he pulled Orion's knife from his side with effort. After tossing the blade aside, he turned his attention to Fox as his palm began to glow violently with powerful white light. Fox squeezed his eyes shut to overpower the sudden burning pain sweeping through them as he felt a warm liquid slowly trickle down his cheek.

He felt blood, and he felt the pain of his ribs of his being stomped inward by Elias but Fox grunted and spat at Elias in defiance.

" I won't...give you the satisfaction ! " Fox yelled in defiance as Elias put more and more of his weight on his ribs, generating a sickening crack much to Fox's torment.

" Than die instead, you've all caused me enough trouble but I admire your valor."

Fox closed his eyes and was prepared to embrace death but instead he heard what sounded like a cannon going off, followed by the sound of a pained yell Elias and the sound of metal being destroyed. Before even opening his eyes, Fox thought her heard the sound of wings flapping before vanishing.

Fox opened his eyes to Jaune with his fist extended and breathing heavily. Fox could only weakly give him a nod before passing out.

Elias had recovered from Jaune's sneak and placed a hand on his to see that Jaune had shattered a large portion of his armor with the blow. He returned his attention to Jaune,and in Elias's eyes was a mixture of contempt and pride.

" How are you even standing ? "

As if on a cue, a phoenix clad in brilliant golden flames descended from the sky, carrying Sun in it's talons. The phoenix released Sun who landed calmly as he tossed Jaune back his sword.

The Phoenix then extended it's wing around Jaune and let some of its feathers break off from its wing and the second a feather touched Jaune, it bathed him a golden flames that began to revitalize him and even give his blade a new shine.

When it finished, the phoenix changed to Orion who stood at the vanguard of him, Sun and Jaune with a smug look on his face and his arms crossed.

"Surpirsed ? You see when I fought Uriel, I learned during the fight that the sun actual made me stronger the closer I got to it but the downside was that I had to actually get past the clouds. So when you full moon-beamed us, I borrowed some aura from Yang. With that, I gave a small bit Jaune and then when you were down, I took Sun and bailed to get better. So when I more than enough, I gave Sun as much aura as he could take and I gave the extra to Jaune now we're all at 100%. With that being said, I got a bone to pick with you. Beating me down is one thing, but if anyone is going to kill ANYONE here, it's gonna be me."

" Confident in this unholy trinity are you ? " Elias as he placed the Book of Oblivion on the unconscious Fox's chest and stepped forward, one hand on the pommel of his blade.

Orion's fist went up in blue flames as he spoke, " Hey Jaune, you okay with killing your own family ? "

" He's not my family," Jaune said defiantly as he held his sword tightly in his hands alongside Sun who gripped his staff, eager to fight.

" If you three believe you can defeat me I can encourage you. Step forth, and this shall be the final battle," Elias said as a dark mist emitted from him. The mist began to grow thick and soon the entire area was shaded by malicious black clouds.

" Okay what did you just do ? " Sun questioned Elias who motioned towards the area around them.

" There is no way in or out unless I will it. It is only us, and there shall be no interference from the ones outside, " Elias claimed as he released his grip from his blade and calmly placed both hands behind his back, like a king.

" Doesn't matter," Orion said smugly as the flames enveloping his fist grew brighter, " We'll fight on until the end ! "

Sun, Jaune and Orion charged at Elias who looked upon with curiosity.

Outside the done, Yang had managed to force her body to move and had managed to crawl over to her downed sister Ruby.

" Sis...you alright ? " Yang questioned Ruby, despite being in no better and probably worse condition than Ruby was.

Ruby could only give a weak thumbs up and innocent smile before placing her face into the snow, letting the cold hold her like a blanket.

In the distance, Yang could hear what sounded the sound of helicopter blades but she chalked it up to her running on fumes but within minutes she was clad was wrong.

From the sky descended several airships bearing the crest of all four kingdoms. From one airship Yang could see several dozen medics rush towards her fallen team-mates and began to attempt to stabilize everyone

Feeling hopeful, Yang allowed herself fall in to unconsciousness while the others fought her and the world's sake.

By all means, a three against one fight should have been in favor of the three but with an opponent like Elias, the odds were nearly balanced.

Elias was gripping Jaune tightly by his throat before throwing him into Orion, sending them both crashing into the snow.

Sun closed the distance between him and Elias and flurried his staff at Elias' kneecap only for Elias to side-step the blow and retaliated with a punch to Sun's solar plexus.

" Weak," Elias mocked the stun Sun. Elias however didn't notice Orion had recovered from the previous attack. He looked up only to see a swathe of blue flames rain down and barrage the area. Luckily Jaune had managed to tackle Sun out of the to avoid being caught up in the flames.

When the blast cleared, Elias had been forced to one knee but Orion pressed the attack along with Sun and Jaune.

Sun struck first with his staff, sending Elias sliding across the snow into Jaune who slashed him across his back, cutting through his already weakened armor. Jaune dived out of the way at Orion's suggestion just as a black tendril pierced Elias in the abdomen only for Elias to grip the tendril tightly as he swung Orion into Jaune, sending them flying away from him.

Sun retreated a few feet away from Elias and called out to the others, " Buy me some time ! "

Elias eyed Sun darkly as he raised his palm and began to generate a familiar white light from his palm only for Orion's three tendrils to restrain both his arms and one pierce his chest.

" Monkey and Arc ! Do what you have to ! I can't hold him forever , " Orion yelled in urgency to both Sun and Jaune as they both closed their eyes and began to focus their aura's around them.

Elias saw this and began to struggle against Orion's grip but he began to feel weaker having been wounded Orion's Hellfire in the previous battle. However he enough physical strength left so he began force himself to reach for his blade. Suddenly the tendril's ignited in blue flames but instead of burning they seemed to add more weight, much to Elilas's shock.

" You changed the properties of your flames , " Elias said in surprise despite the annoyance he felt inside, " you Flamesongs were always full of surprises but trash stays trash ! "

" Keep talking like your in control but we've won , " Orion said with confidence as Sun began to glow with a golden aura and Jaune began to glow with a pure white aura. " You two ready yet ?! "

Sun and Jaune nodded at each other with determination. As they began to charge at the restrained Elias but he managed to break free from Orion's grip and pull him into his waiting blade.

Orion's tendrils faded but one reappeared from hid back and he pierced both himself and Elias, much too everyone's surprise but Orion held on tightly and yelled, " DO IT ! ", to Sun and Jaune who had stopped in their tracks. The tendril extended through Orion and Elias and wrapped them tightly while Orion restrained both of Elias's arms with his own strength, giving Sun and Jaune a clear opening.

" GO ! I can't hold him forever you assholes ! "

Orion's words snapped them back to their senses as they continued their assault. Only instead Jaune threw his sword and in the same motion, Sun had flipped forward and kicked the blade in mid-flight, redirecting it and causing it to impale both Elias and Orion but also severed the tendril restraining them, causing Orion to fall backwards into the snow while Elias dropped to one knee, feeling weakened.

Sun ran ahead twirled his staff and swung only for Elias to catch it mid-swing. Sun only smiled as Jaune appeared next to them and pulled his blade free and severed the Elias's left arm.

Elias retreated backwards as he yelled in pain at the loss of his arm. Jaune continued his assault as he began to cut away the remaining links of Elias's armor faster than the wounded Elias could react.

Sun took this opening and swept Elias' feet from underneath him before launching him higher into the air.

Elias could scarcely follow their movements but once in the air he aimed his free hand at the duo and wounded Orion as he created a black vortex from which hundreds of dark hands and phantoms escaped and began to swarm Sun, Jaune and Orion as Elias landed on his feet.

" W-What is this ?! " Jaune yelled in pain as the phantoms and hands pulled him and the others seemingly out of the world, leaving behind only three separate floating black orbs, one for each of them.

" This the Ebony Eclipse, a prison created by darkness. From the power Chaos gave me, I created a technique that can wipe away both body and soul. I'd hoped to use this on Chaos after I drained it of it's power to ascended both past humanity and Grimm but I suppose I'll settle on annihilating you three as a test," Elias explained to the three even though he knew they most likely couldn't hear him.

He extended his arm and slowly began to close his opened hand, causing the three prison orbs to forcibly condense themselves, causing those trapped inside to scream in pain.

However, instead of condensing into itself, one of the floating orbs suddenly began to flood with holy white light before exploding as Jaune suddenly fell to one knee, having managed to somehow escape much to Elias' shock.

" I can't let someone like you...," Jaune began in a weakened voice, " tarnish the name of the Arc's."

Elias only smirked at Jaune as he walked over to his severed left arm and picked it up calmly. Elias placed the limb back on the area severed area and Jaune watched as threads of aura began to entwine the severed lime and reattach itself within moments.

When it was done, Elias moved each of the fingers on his left hand, testing himself and how well he healed. He then placed drew his blade from his side as Jaune forced himself to his feet before looking back at the remaining two orbs of the Ebony Eclipse.

A golden light slowly began to seep through a small crack in the back of Sun's orb, signaling that he was trying to find a way out while Orion's orb remained completely mundane as it was beforehand.

Come on you guys, I'll buy you some time but you have to hurry. Everyone is counting on us.

Jaune turned to face Elias, gripping his sword tightly as a white aura began to envelope the blade. Elias motioned for Jaune to attack him, so Jaune swallowed what ever fear he felt and charged.

A/N : I'm back ! Sorry for the hiatus guys but I just got reeeallllyyy busy while I was gone so I didn't have much time to write but I'm back now so don't worry I'll be making it up too you all :).
