Yang, Ruby, Weiss and Blake fought alongside each other, other Hunstsmen and Huntresses against the approaching wave of Grimm. For what seemed like hours, they fought tooth and nail against the creatures hellbent of rendering their peace asunder.

When the horde had been suppressed, Team RWBY took that opportunity to recuperate. They found a nearby clearing, a field full of vibrant life, trees and small animals. A small doe carefully approached Yang, sniffing the ground around her before looking at her.

" Hey there," Yang said kindly as she reached out to touch the creature. It hesitated, and retreated quickly. A forlorn look crept on her face. " Aww."

A crow screeched loudly, gaining the team's attention. The team turned to the crow that sat on a branch above them. Its piercing red eyes gazed down upon them, and Yang could have sworn it looked through her.

" That is one creepy bird," Yang said as she and her team attempted to leave. The crow screeched again, but this time it flew into the air and landed in front of them.

" You, the one who holds the Flamesong's heart."

Everyone looked at each other in shock, hearing a simple bird talk was not something they had ever experienced. The crow took off into the air and landed on a branch, still eyeing the team.

" Must I repeat myself? I am speaking to you, Yang Xiao Long, I would be appreciative if you were to acknowledge me."

" What the hell are you," Yang asked nervously as her team drew their weapons.

" I am many things, have gone by names and I hold many titles. I am Obliteration, the Black Dragon of the Eclipse. Though my purpose here differs from my name. I serve one with great potential, your betrothed Orion Flamesong, who now seeks to rid your world of the blight that is Chaos."

" Wait," Weiss said as she looked at Yang. " Betrothed?! You're getting married!"

" Surprise..." Yang said nervously, trying to avoid the Ice Queen's penetrating glare. " I was gonna tell you all...eventually."

Obliteration watched as the two squabbled like children. When his patience ran empty he screeched again to gain their attention.

" You may continue this childish banter later, if your world still has one."

" What are you talking about," Blake asked the demon with a curious expression. " Jaune, Sun and Orion should be more than enough to defeat it."

" So you believe, as you read from ancient text from those long ago. Nothing is set in stone except the past, but the future can always be changed. I've come here to know if you all would stand with those you hold dear. Sun Wukong, Orion Flamesong and Jaune Arc are this world's most capable warriors, masters of their own skills, warriors that are born so few in each generation, yet Chaos is akin to a god to you humans. So, I ask again, will you humans stand with them, or leave your world to blind fate?"

" You serve Orion," Yang began. " Aren't you going to help your master?"

" That I am, as he has summoned me. I am honor bound to him so long as he does not disappoint me. He hasn't yet, and now he seeks my aid, in whatever form it can be."

Team RWBY exchanged glances with each other, no words shattering the unnerving silence. Obliteration flew down from the ground, a black mist begun to envelope the area. When it vanished, Obliteration had taken the form of the fearsome black dragon that befit his title.

Weiss created a glyph next to her that began to shine brightly. A pure white Nevermore was created, bowing down to Weiss. She climbed onto its back and looked at Obliteration.

" I don't trust those idiots to fix things on their own."

Ruby smiled as she climbed on the Nevermore's back alongside Blake. Obliteration gently picked Yang up, placed her on his head and took into the sky, Weiss following behind him. They ascended past the clouds, the world seeming so much smaller than what it truly was.

" You humans truly are an interesting species."

Yang laughed lightly as she cheered at the speed they were flying. " Never doubt the power of humanity!"

Just then, the sun's warmth became naught but shadows, no light passed through the darkness. Obliteration roared loudly, hurting the ears of all nearby. " The Eclipse has begun, the final battle draws near!"

Still, Obliteration and Weiss's Nevermore flew above the sea of darkness, finding the sun's warmth once again.

The angels gathered raw untapped energy in their hands, preparing to shoot down the black dragon that hovered above. Orion stopped them as the dragon landed in front of them, bowing lightly to Orion.

" So, you have finally sought my aid, young Flamesong."

Nuri's eyes went up in anger as she gripped Orion by his collar, white flames coating her hands. " ARE YOU STUPID!"

" Not really," Orion said with a shrug. " I didn't really have a 'formal' education, but I think I did alright, all things considered when we stop to think about my-"

" ENOUGH," Nuri yelled the flames grew more intense, yet Orion didn't seem affected. " Your ancestors betrayed the trust I placed in them! Now you conspire with the BLACK DRAGON OF THE ECLIPSE! ELIAS SHOULD HAVE FINISHED YOUR BLOODLINE PROPERLY, MAYBE I SHOULD FINISH WHAT HE STARTED!"

Orion smiled lightly as he caught the fist coated in holy fire, leaving Nuri stunned. He pried her other hand off of him and took several steps back, blue flames dancing happily behind him. Yang peered over Obliteration's back, watching the exchange silently.

" Try it," Orion said smugly holding out a fist of Novafire. " Your sisters have been nothing, but kind to me, so they're the only reason I tolerate you. However, I'm really starting to hate you."

The blue flames formed letters, then entire words as they taunted Nuri. Her eye twitched as the sight as a wave of white flames descended upon Orion. The flames formed a vortex of fire, scorching the very earth itself as Nuri manifested all of her hatred into them.

The flames swirled and danced as they receded and formed a small fireball in Orion's free hand. " This is the difference between us. I can let go of my hate, you can't. That's what makes you weak compared to me, a lowly little human."

Nuri gathered more flames around her, that vanished all too quickly as a sharp pain ran through her face. She felt were Amira had slapped her, saw her angered glare, feeling her quiet rage.

" Enough," Amira said. She hadn't raised her voice at Nuri since they were children, she never needed to, as her quiet anger struck fear into every fiber of Nuri's being. Nuri looked at Orion, who was absent-mindedly turning the white flames into small creatures that dissipated with ease.

When he looked at her again, Nuri lowered her head in shame. " I...I'm sorry."

Amira turned to Jaune and manifested a brilliant golden blade, coursing with the power of the heavens themselves. " Naomi, the sister that Sun brought back to us, chose to continue fighting for humanity even after her...end. She saw potential in humanity, loved everything about them, even with their flaws. She's been recreated as a blade to help you destroy Chaos, once and for all."

Jaune looked at Amira, who nodded for him to take the sword. Once his hand touched grip of the sword, he could feel himself overflow with the power that Naomi had possessed and had gathered over the years. He found his center again, eyeing the blade deeply.

It was flawless in every regard. Merely looking at its edge was enough to make him feel like he had been cut. The blessed blade vanished in a golden haze, turning into a golden bangle that wrapped around Jaune's right wrist.

" Do be careful, and use her only to strike at Chaos. Attacking anything else is too great a risk."

" Understood," Jaune said as he thanked Amira. She smiled and nodded in return as a golden portal opened behind them.

" We can't stay, we'd only be a hindrance, given our weakening conditions. We shall pray for you all," Amira said, even turning to Obliteration and placing a hand on the beast, much to his shock. " Even you, Black Dragon. Though our paths differ, I shall wish for your survival as well. However, do know if you turn against humanity, we will not hesitate to strike at you."

The dragon gave a toothy look, what could be considered a smile from him. " I would have it no other way. If that day comes, I look forward to meeting you on the battlefield."

Amira nodded, leaving with Serana and Nuri through the portal Amira had created. The portal closed behind them, just as Obliteration roared to the darkened sky.

" What was that about?" Orion asked with crossed arms.

" A call of challenge. In this way, those from my world shall not interfere as the battle begins. The link between worlds is at its weakest, even the most decrepit of demons can slither their way into your world."

Obliteration reared his head as his roar was met with another, far off in the blackened distance. The roared echoed for what seemed like hours until Obliteration turned back to Orion.

The earth began to rumble and split, giving way to a deep chasm of eternal terror. Everyone heard the sickening screech that howled with lungs of a behemoth as several sets of dark red eyes erupted from the darkness. A beast, comprised of a scaled head, elongated neck that was coated in scales, and a maw of razor sharp teeth erupted from the darkness.

" So you intend to taunt me with my own likeness," Obliteration said with mad glee as he to grew in size to match the new beast. " This is the beast you bring to me, in order to keep me from finding your true form. Very well, Chaos, we'll settle things your way. You'll come to realize that I am not to be mocked!"

The dragon roared, the same as Obliteration, as they both ascended to the sky. Golden flames formed wings that carried Orion along with the dragons. He grabbed onto Obliteration's back and winked down to Jaune and the others.

" ORION," Yang yelled in annoyance as Orion and the dragons vanished from sight. " YOU JACKASS!"

" Great," Sun said as he rubbed the brow of his forehead. " He left us with the demon god."

The rift that the dragon emerged from vanished without fault. The wolf that Orion incinerated from before now stood in front of everyone.

" My, a brash human, not surprising at all. Now, if you wish to accept the challenge of my master, please follow me."

" Didn't Orion set you on fire?" Blake asked as the wolf eyed her from behind its mask.

" I am not one to be destroyed so easily, especially since I am my master's most personal messenger. Please, follow me."

Everyone exchanged glances, but were turn from this as blue fire rained from above. Roars of rage, anger and savagery followed, as did the deafening sounds of explosions. A stray ball of blue flames landed on the wolf again, bathing it in fire yet again. It from a weak black mist formed into the wolf it was before.

Everyone followed it without question, despite the threat of ambush.

From above, Orion and Obliteration battled against the dragon before them. This dragon was intended by Chaos to mimic Obliteration, being the identical in every regard. Orion saw this and ceased throwing waves of fire at it from atop Obliteration's head.

" Do me a favor," he said to Obliteration, as they repelled an intense wave of dark fire. " You two look too identical for me, so just...change the way you look?"

Obliteration hovered in the air, silent as its black scales changed to deep crimson red, its eye becoming a fire-like shade of gold. Orion simply watched with wide eyes as blue fire gathered around his arms.

" Now then, let us continue this battle! This mockery is nothing, but a shadow of me!"

Orion smiled darkly as he threw off his coat, letting it fall back to the earth. On his back was the weapon that Raven had bestowed upon him. He reached back, drew a blade from the cylinder and smirked as the red Dust blade went up in blue flames.

The black dragon eyed the duo, and wordlessly gathered raw energy in its mouth and fired it at Orion and Obliteration. Orion was stunned as the dragon released a wave of pure, black Hellfire. Obliteration flew above the torrent of flames, Orion struggling to keep his balance.

" That bastard is using my Hellfire!"

" It was yours, Flamesong. It's evident what became of them now."

Orion's gaze deepened, took a deep breath. " Charge it, we're taking it out in one shot."

Obliteration gave a toothy grin in response, roared in agreement as he took off with monstrous speed. Orion gripped his blade tightly as Obliteration and the dragon flew towards each other. Obliteration's strength surpassed that of their enemy, holding them in place as Orion crossed onto the dragon's back.

The black dragon released a wave of Hellfire, striking Obliteration point-blank in his face, blinding and searing him as his grip faltered. The black dragon struck him across his scaled face with a clawed hand, ripping a deep gash into Obliteration's neck and face as he plummeted towards the ground.

Orion didn't let his mind falter as his chain uncoiled from around his arm, as Obliteration fell towards the ground. The chain glowed with a golden energy as it wrapped itself around the black dragon's neck, searing it with holy white flames. Orion did everything he could as forced the beast to fly upwards, towards the sun's light.

Feeling the sun's radiance imbue his semblance with more power, several balls of blue flames that gathered around him and the dragon, each radiating with more power than the last. The dragon roared in defiance as it attempted to claw Orion to no avail. The flames around them became elongated spears of blue fire as they grew in size.

The flaming spears flew through the air, all impaling the black dragon as they seared its scales and enveloped it in blue flames. The dragon flapped its wings with enough force to blow away most of the flames, but wasn't prepared for what followed.

Obliteration soared through the sky, towards the black dragon, rage and anger present in his roar. His maw opened, razor sharp teeth poised to find their mark. The black dragon gathered Hellfire in its mouth, ready to blow Obliteration out of the sky. Orion pulled on his chain, violently yanked the dragon's neck and forced him to look up, missing its target, its neck exposed.

Obliteration found his mark and sunk his teeth into the black dragon's neck, forcing it to cry out in pain at he tore out a black ribbons of corrupt life. His claws gripped the dragon's neck, tearing away the scales on the dragon's neck. The black dragon's black blood seeped through Obliteration's teeth and claws, before violently twisted its neck. Orion lurched the side and hung by the chain around the dragon's neck, sighing in relief that he hadn't fallen off.

Obliteration saw that Orion was simply hanging there and took him in his hand. When Orion was safe, Obliteration allowed the black dragon to fall unceremoniously to the ground below. Obliteration's red scales returned to a deep obsidian shade of black that they had been before.

" Vile imitation," Obliteration said was he looked off into the distance. That menacing toothy grin appeared on his face as he flew, Orion on his back. " I sense that Chaos is near."

" Well hopefully things don't start without us."

The others walked for what felt like hours, until a dark fortress came into view. Towering spires rose in the ebony sky, massive Nevermores sat perched liked gargoyles on the ramparts of the dark castle.

" I feel like we've been here before," Sun said as he eyed the castle. The Nevermores screeched a blood curling noise as he one erupted in blue flames while the other took off into the sky, attempting to escape. It plummeted to the ground soon after, Obliteration's teeth sunken deep into the Nevermore's neck. Orion slid down Obliteration's tail, much to the dragon's annoyance.

Obliteration released the decaying Nevermore, turned his head toward the black castle before him, roared in rage and released a torrent of flames. They were departed with ease, revealing that the fortress was protected by barrier of black magic.

The wolf that had guided the group approached Obliteration without fear, waiting to be noticed. Obliteration finally noticed the creature and eyed it curiously.

" My master's castle is guarded by his own power. I'd recom-"

Obliteration crushed the wolf under his foot, smearing it into the ground and letting out a small flare of fire, incinerating its remains.

Obliteration took the form of crow, perching itself on Orion's shoulder as he and the others traversed the inside the castle of Chaos. Aside the obsidian walls, the dark architecture and ominous air, nothing out of the ordinary stood out. The place was simply bare, uninhabited.

The group walked down through a large corridor, silence dominating the area. A set of onyx black doors emerged from the end of the hall.

" So it seems like everyone and everything that thinks they're a god always has a castle," Sun said sarcastically, earning an elbow to the side from Blake. " It's true."

" A strong castle, a strong leader, absolute control," Obliteration cooed cryptically.

" Are you telling me you had a castle?"

" Of course."

Orion laughed at Sun's annoyance to the idea, until they came to massive set of onyx doors. Orion felt a deep pain in his chest again as he came closer to the doors. The others noticed, caught him as he nearly fell to the ground. The doors before them swung open, revealing a massive empty room, save for a single throne. On it sat the embodiment of a god.

On the throne sat a being clad in radiant golden armor, one to shame the angels. The room may have been dark, but the being on the throne gave off a light of their own. Orion was writhing in pain, Yang and Jaune at his side.

" Yes," a menacing voiced boomed, echoing through the great room. " The seeds of corruption have sprung nicely. A human, a weak species such as you, could never match our strength, let alone it. What excruciating agony it be, to have your soul scorched, nothing you do about it. Have you felt anything like your soul being scorched by the Hellfires of my world."

Obliteration became a deep mist, hovering between the humans and Chaos. He took the form of something vaguely human. Chaos slammed its staff into the ground before it, creating a portal to parts unknown. From it, abominations befitting horrific nightmares began to spew forth.

Obliteration changed back into a black bird as he perched himself on the now rising Orion. Using Raven's sword as a crutch, along with assistance from Yang and Jaune, he rose to his feet, no worse for ware.

A creature of shadows charged at the group, but was incinerated before it got close. Orion's gaze locked onto Chaos, unwavering and unafraid.

" This is... our world, you dick."

Chaos smirked as everyone felt the ground give way. In an immense display of power, Chaos lifted its entire castle into the sky without effort or fail.

" Perhaps, but now you have a ruler. You all may kneel before me, beg me for mercy."

The temperature began to drop, frost formed on the four walls of the throne room. Orion smirked as the area became an inescapable blizzard, snow and frost dominating the area with ease.

" Sorry, but it's not proper for a Schnee to kneel," Weiss said confidently as a white glyph appeared on the ground beneath them. Chaos watched with intent as the ground beneath them gave way, letting them all fall through the hole in the floor.

Rage began to stir within Chaos as it rose from its throne, slamming its staff into the ground again. The entire throne exploded in a display of raw power, shattering the room with ease. What was left was the throne of Chaos, before it was Obliteration in the form of a black dragon.

Glyphs surrounded the area, each with someone standing on one, ready and anxious. On Obliteration's back, Orion stood with rage in his eyes, Raven's blade on his shoulder, Jaune and Sun at his side.

" You know, you took something that belongs to me," Orion said as a dark power began to emanate from him. " Muramasa was a gift, and i'd like it back right now. Better yet, I'll take it off your corpse."

" You probably shouldn't taunt the demon," Jaune said the bangle on his wrist began to shine brightly. In an instant, it began the sword it once was, angelic beauty in every fiber of the blade. " Chaos, my name is Jaune Arc, descendant of Elias Arc, the human you corrupted. In his memory, I'll wipe the slate clean and do what he couldn't!"

" Then come, descendant of Elias, face me. You as well, Flamesong, since you are so eager to take back what I stole from you."

A small black portal appeared in front Chaos. It reached in and withdrew Muramasa, the blade appearing tainted and decrepit from Chaos's influence. At the sight, Orion's mind was flooded with of Cinder.

" Weiss," Jaune called. " How long can you keep your glyphs up?"

" Long enough," Weiss said confidently, gaining a smile from Jaune. " Now let's not stand on ceremony. You picked a fight with our world, and as a Schnee it is my duty to be here and fight to defend my home."

" Oh what delightful agony I shall inflict upon you all! Come humans, stand and defy god!"

Orion was the first to move, blindly running on the glyphs Weiss created. With inhuman strength, he hurled his sword towards Chaos, never losing speed along the way. Obliteration smiled with glee as he too began fly towards his hated rival, only to be met with a barrier that obstructed his path.

" Face me, you coward!"

" You can stay right where you are," Chaos said its throne expanded becoming a massive floating stadium. Orion landed on it, never stopping as tendrils of darkness attempted to bind him.

" Enough with your bullshit!"

Orion rolled across the ground, avoiding the tendrils as radiant golden flames melted the darkness with ease, leaving Chaos stunned and vulnerable. Orion closed the distance between with ease, no shadow able to touch him. Raven's blade landed at Chaos's feet, erupted into the blue flames that consumed him.

" Parlor tricks, child," it said as the flames vanished into a black void only to reveal closer thane expected. Chaos reached out, its hand catching Orion's own flaming fist. " Is this all you possess?"

Orion smiled as flesh changed to ice that engulfed Chaos's own hand, leaving the demon shocked. The real Orion fell from above, a massive blue sun in his hands. Sun appeared from nowhere, landing as Chaos's hand only to be forced to the ground as tendrils bound him.

Orion let the sun in his hands fall, engulfing the floating platform, himself, Sun and Chaos in radiant blue flames. When the flames died, all were unscathed, but Chaos had been unseated from his throne, which was now naught, but rubble.

" A god wouldn't get up for a parlor trick," Orion taunted as he picked up Muramasa, shocking Chaos, who looked to see that the blade had been taken during the confusion. " I got my blade back, next thing I'm taking is your head."

Honestly shocked, Chaos began to cackle madly as a black portal opened behind it. " You've amused me long enough."

Everyone's eyes went wide as horrendous nightmares spewed forth, abominations of the darkest recesses of the human imagination flooded onto Remnant. A creature resembling a serpent with malformed wings hissed at the humans as Chaos walked on the creatures back. Obliteration wasted no time retrieving everyone and flying to safety, only to be chased by Chaos and the nightmares.

" What the hell are those?!" Orion yelled as he and the others fired all projectiles they could at the terrors.

" Denizens of the Netherworld that loyal to Chaos! While the veil between worlds is weak, it still takes immense energy to create a portal for that sheer in number to enter this world. As long as he keeps the portal open, he'll be vulnerable!"

Orion and Jaune exchanged glances before nodding in unison. Orion looked at Muramasa and smiled, seeing that the blade was regaining its original red hue, being purified by Orion's golden fire. He took a step back, felt the Cosmic Force within Muramasa and channeled the ethereal energy.

Jaune did the same with the gift he was given. They felt themselves overflow power, careful not to lose themselves in it. Sun followed in their steps, focusing and drawing on his semblance. Weiss created a vast platform of glyphs, Sun created dozens of clones that charged towards Chaos.

" We only have one chance to do this right," Jaune explained, his eyes closed as he drew upon the Cosmic Force of the angels. " We need you all to clear! Obliteration, you and the others deal with the things from your world! Sun, Orion, Weiss and I will focus on Chaos!"

" Obliteration," Orion said he set his sights on Chaos. " I'm trusting this to you."

" With pleasure, Flamesong!"

A white Nevermore was created by Weiss, flying side by side with Obliteration away from Chaos. Sun's clones bombarded Chaos and its abominations, serving only as a distraction, but a valuable one. Weiss, Orion, Sun and Jaune boarded Weiss's Nevermore and veered away. Chaos took notice and followed after them.

A swathe of flames blocked its way. Obliteration released another wave of fire and charged towards Chaos. Several of the abominations wavered, fearful and petrified as Obliteration incinerated them with ease.

Hovering before the darkness Obliteration waited, eyed down by Chaos.

" Why do you fight your," Chaos asked intently. " We could rule this world! Merely pledge your loyalty and kneel before me."

" There is only one I'd serve."

" Yes, a mere human. How low you must have fallen."

" You're mistaken," Obliteration spoke confidently. " You are simply blind to underestimate these creatures."

From above, blue flames rained down Chaos and its legions. Turning its focus above, Chaos watched Jaune, Sun and Orion finally made their move.

" Defiant insects!"

Chaos released a forest of tendril, sharp enough to sever the nerves. The trio used them a footholds, running down them and towards Chaos. Orion and Jaune cut any attempted to impale them. Sun was too agile for even one to come close. Obliteration released an endless fury of flames towards Chaos, forcing it shield itself from the onslaught.

Yang and the others joined, firing at Chaos with everything they had. Chaos put a barrier, between it and Obliteration. Maintaining it, the portal for its legions and dealing with Orion and the others began to take its toll as Orion and the others landed before it.

Never slowing down, Orion and Jaune cut down every creature that attempted to attack them. Orion tossed Muramasa to Sun, focused and aimed at Chaos, blue fire enveloping his arm.

Firing like a cannon, Orion released a monstrous torrent of flames that annihilated any demon standing before him. He then placed a hand on the ground, flash freezing the tendrils aimed at Jaune and Sun.

Energy enveloped Jaune and Sun's sword as they both released a purifying crescent wave of energy. Any demon caught in their wave was reduced to ashes. Chaos threw up a barrier to defend itself. The combined attacks shattered Chaos's barrier and struck deeply.

Jaune charged forward, avoiding a shadowy tendril and driving his blade into Chaos's chest. A golden hand of fire pulled him back as Sun threw Muramasa up. He crouched low, waiting as Orion's foot landed him on his shoulder. He threw Orion up, who caught Muramasa and coated the blade in flames as he landed rolled along the ground.

With practiced precision, he lunged his blade into the demon's chest. Instead of joy, Orion felt shock as the demon gripped him by his throat, hoisted him into the air and began laugh manically, seemingly unaffected by two angelic weapons.

" Did you think that would be enough to kill ME?! I'M INSULTED! I WILL NOT BE DESTROYED, NOR WILL I BE MADE A MOCKERY OF BY INFERIOR CREATURES!"

Orion's grip went slack as he lost hold of Muramasa, leaving the blade in Chaos's chest. He weakly smiled, angering the demon more until it looked up. Dozens of glyphs hovered above. They rotated violently before a comet fire of descended through each glyph, growing in intensity with each glyph. It crashed into Chaos, bathing the demon in flame. Chaos recoiled, its barrier faltered and it was bathed in the flames of Obliteration, peppered with Dust from Yang and the others.

The demon refused to submit, regaining its form, albeit more damaged and battered. Two gaping wounds showed, each radiating a black dying energy. Yelling in anger, the demon began to glow brightly, bathing the area in a dark light, blinding and searing.

Every human felt their strength ebb and wane, Chaos's demonic power corrupting and dark.

" I WILL NOT BE UPSTAGED!" Chaos yelled, a black vortex of energy choking the essence of life from all nearby. Orion, weakly watching as everyone began to succumb to the demon's might, even he was brought to his knees. He reached, gripping Muramasa and using the blade as a crutch. He felt the Cosmic Force within the blade, acting as a buffer from the darkness. He searched deep, feeling the touch of corruption within his own soul.

Suddenly the dark energy vanished without a trace before densely surrounding Chaos violently. Everyone watched as Orion got to his shakily, Muramasa flaring with immeasurable power. Orion spun the blade, swung it downwards as if cutting the air. Chaos erupted into black fire, screeching an unholy, ear-shattering cacophony as Orion laughed manically.

" By fire, be purged!" Orion said, his voice dark and twisted. Chaos swiped widely with dark tendrils, only for them to severed and dissipated by black fire. " Fuel my inferno, wretched beast."

Chaos continued to wail and howl in agony as Orion's flames seared it. Orion reached the second blade, taking it in his hands and felt the pain course through him. It was i as if the holy blade was rejecting him. Still he forced himself forward, the heavenly blade dragging behind him, Muramasa still conducting the symphony of Hellfire.

" The day you helped me was the day you sealed your fate, Chaos." Orion said darkly, Jaune and Sun watching in shock.

Taking his last steps, Orion drove the angelic blade into Chaos, his own arm seared by the angelic rejection, leaving it black and scorched. A black tendril pierced Chaos, engulfing its wounds in both Hellfire and angelic flames. The angelic blade continued to burn them both, white fire began to engulf Orion, pain erupting from him. Jaune and Sun pulled him away, leaving the blade impaled in the demon. Jaune charged forward, yanking the blade free abd bisecting the demon in one swift blow. Orion pointed, a portal opening Chaos, black chains restrained the demon even further and pulled it in. It screamed in anger and agony, black tendrils clawing towards the trio Jaune severed them with ease. He channeled the blade's innate strength. It began to shine brightly, blinding the demon as its power grew.

" Begone!" Jaune commanded, his sword shining brightly. In one flawless move Jaune released a white beam of energy from the blade. Blinding and purifying, the beam drove Chaos back. Still it refused to back down. Tendrils pinned the ground, slowing Chaos from being dragged into the abyss.

" I... WILL NOT BE DEFEATED!"

Obliteration began to descend, becoming level with Chaos. Ethereal fire raged in its maw and was released, being the final push that banished Chaos. " Learn to cope, filth."

Orion felt pain and suffering, his last sight being that of the others rushing to him. He saw Yang's face, letting it be his last sight before he lost consciousness.

The Angels were the first to feel the tyrants downfall. The trio looked at each in shock, then began to feel a feeling they hadn't experienced in ages. They felt their powers return, Cosmic Force running through their veins like a flood felt rushing through a shattered dam.

They looked above them, a white portal opening above. They were bathed in a warm light, pure and radiant as a voice spoke to them.

Chaos has been banished, your imprisonment has ended. Return home.

All three angels smiled and cried in joy, but Amira's mind drifted. Their return home wouldn't have been possible if not for those that were willing to sacrifice their lives for strangers. She stepped forward, head lowered and humility in her voice.

" I have only one request."
