Sorry this took so long but a few things got in the way. A few things happen this chapter but I wouldn't spoil them.
"So she knows who you are?" Sasuke asked as he leaned back into his chair. The Uchiha's eyes narrowed on the blond who scratched the back of his head and let out a nervous chuckle. "We can't let this stand as it is. As you said she is part of Night Raid who at the moment isn't an ally." Sasuke said to the blond who sighed at his best friend's way of thinking.
"I trust her Teme, she promised she wouldn't tell anyone who I am." Naruto said trying to convince his partner not to do anything drastic against the assassin group. "Can you just trust me on this? Pease." Naruto asked. He dreaded what would happen if Sasuke ever decided to go all out against anyone except himself. The Uchiha glared at Naruto, it was clear that he disliked trusting someone he himself had never actually met.
"Fine. But the second she betrays your trust I wouldn't hesitate to end her life." Sasuke said as he stood up and left Naruto by himself. As he walked out of the temple he ran into Spear who was training with the weapon she was named after. "Spear do you mind coming with me to buy some supplies?" Sasuke asked his ward.
The blonde girl stop her training and wiped some sweat off her brow. "Sure Sasuke, let me changed though." She said running past Sasuke and into the building. The Uchiha didn't have to wait long before Spear came back out wearing her usual clothing.
"Ready?" Sasuke asked the girl who nodded with a smile. "Then lets go." Sasuke said as he walked through the temple gates with the girl at his side. Spear looked up at the face of her savior as they walked towards the city. Since he saved her, Sasuke had been the one who provided everything she needed ranging from training to things like clothing. He was wearing a high collar light purple shirt with the Uchiha fan symbol on the back between his shoulder blade and black pants.
"So why did you ask me to come with you? Doesn't Naruto normally send a clone to do this?" Spear asked the Uchiha who looked down at her from his peripherals. From what she saw the blond of the pair usually went a clone of himself out to buy anything they needed while they trained or worked.
"You've done nothing but train and walk around the base since I brought you there, I thought it would be best for you to have some time in the Capital." Sasuke said to her. Spear was a bit confused since from what she had seen the Uchiha wasn't someone who would do this.
"Really?" Spear asked Sasuke. He could almost feel her confusion. he admitted that what he was doing was extremely out of character but he felt as if she deserved some time in a setting she was more used to. Sasuke nodded causing her to smile. "Thanks." She said to the Uchiha.
"The Dobe said that there was a parade today to celebrate the birth of the first emperor." Sasuke said as he saw the city in the distance. "Lets hurry up." Sasuke said as he placed his hand on her shoulder and vanished in a swirl of leaves. The two appeared within the house Naruto had bought inside the city.
Spear stumbled a bit from the sudden change in location and fell into the Uchiha. Her eyes widen before she backed away from him blushing. "I'm sorry." She said bowing to the raven haired shinobi who didn't seem to mind at all.
"Lets just go." Sasuke said in the same monotone voice he always used. The two left the house to see people rushing over to a larger road where large floats moved through. On the sides were several stands selling things ranging from food to useless items like pins and pictures. Sasuke watched as the girl ran to one of the stands and bought two boxes filled with round candies.
Spear ran back to him and handed him one of the two boxes. Sasuke took the box and looked at the small pellets curiously. Picking one up, he placed it in his mouth to try one out. His face turned sour at the sweet taste of the treat. "What's wrong Sasuke?" Spear asked as she tried one of the treats from his box and found nothing wrong.
"I don't like sweets." He answered. However looking past the crowded he saw three girls being lead by man with short blond hair. "Spear, would you like to go on a mission with me right now?" He asked as he watched the man walk through the crowd. From the looks on the girl's faces they seemed happy but the man on the other hand was off. If anything he felt like Orochimaru meaning he didn't care about human lives.
Spear smiled and nodded. Even though she wanted to enjoy the festival getting the chance to go on a real mission with her caretaker was an opportunity she couldn't pass up. "So what are we going to do?" She asked the Uchiha who walked through the crowd towards the man.
"We're going to check out something." He said as he casted a genjutsu on both himself and Spear making them invisible to everyone. The two followed the man out of the crowd and were now able to see the three girls he was leading. The first was a girl that had pink hair and eyes. She wore a pink raincoat with a matching hat and boots. Next was a girl with a similar body to the pink haired girl but had copper hair and amber eyes. She wore an orange raincoat and a pair of matching boots. The last one was another girl which had dark blue hair and light blue eyes. She wore a blue raincoat with bunny ears-like attachments on the hood and a pair of matching boots.
"Why are we following them?" Spear asked the Uchiha who held a finger to her mouth as he watched the man go into a large building that was identifiable from the rest. She let out a small shriek as the Uchiha picked her up and jumped up on top of the building. "What are you doing?" She asked as the Uchiha made a handsign. In a puff of smoke he was no longer in his street outfit but rather in his Taka disguise.
"Spear from now on refer to me as Taka." Sasuke said he he summoned a second cloak and put it on Spear. "This may be nothing but I don't need Naruto's senses to know that something is wrong." He said to her before placing a tag on the building's roof. The Uchiha ran and picked Spear up and brought up his Susano'o ribcage as the piece of paper exploded creating a hole on the roof. Spear blushed at the close proximity between her and Sasuke. The way he was holding her she could feel his lean chest while she was sure that he could feel her breast pressing against him.
Down below in the hole she could hear shouts of pain and anger. The two separated from one another after the explosion passed. Sasuke bit his thumb and passed it over two seals on his lower arm which summoned both his sword and a spear. Spear took the weapon that shared it's name with her and followed the Uchiha down the hole.
The first thing she noticed was how the men inside the building were dressed. Most were dressed in like street thugs or criminals. One came running straight at her but was killed swiftly a pair of lightning infused senbon from the Uchiha which had just severed a man's head. Steeling herself she charged at one of the men and pierced his chest. Blood splattered over her as the sharp tip of her weapon penetrated straight through the thug's body.
It was thanks to the harsh training with both Sasuke and at the Imperial Fist instructors that she was able to ignore being covered in blood. She placed her foot on the man's torso and kicked the dead body off her weapon. She swung her weapon like a bat which knocked down two men. She finished one of them off by stabbing her spear through his heart. The second one stood up holding his head but was killed when Sasuke appeared in front of him and sliced his body straight in half with a lightning covered sword. "Lets finish these off." Sasuke said as he pointed his sword at one of the men. "Chidori Sharp Spear." He muttered as his blade shot forward and pierced the man's head. Spear nodded and rammed her weapon through two men.
The duo made short work of the remaining men and started moving down to the lower levels. As they walked down they heard the screams of one of the girls. From where the screams were coming from they were on the other side of the wall beside them."Sasuke we have to hurry!" Spear yelled when she heard the cries of pain.
Sasuke nodded and kicked the wall that separated them from the room where the girls were being held. Spear gasped at how destructive was being. Normally from the stories she heard it was Naruto who did things like this while Sasuke was much more clean. "We can't afford to waste time." Sasuke said as if reading her mind.
POV of other side
The blond man from before watched as one of the men he had just sold the girls to was about to remove the blue haired girls eye. One of the men had already broken the legs of the the copper haired girl. "What a waste." He muttered as the man prepared to remove the poor girl's eye.
Before he could however the right wall exploded inward. Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to the newly made hole. The sound of electricity crackling was coming from the other side. The sound of footsteps echoed into the room as a pair of glowing eyes appeared through dust. "Looks like we got here just in time." The man said before a spear shot out of the cloud of dust and impaled the man who was holding the weapon to the girl's eye.
"Shit it's Taka!" The blond man yelled before his chest by a blue blade that extended out of the cloud. "AAAAHHHHHHH!" He screamed in pain as he was electrified from the inside out. The three girls huddled close together as two figures stepped out of the dust. Spear walked to her weapon which was still buried in the side of the man and removed it.
Sasuke waved his hand at a group of suited men who charged at him. The men didn't know what was happened when hundreds of senbon made out of blue electricity came out of his hand and shredded their as they flew straight through their bodies. Spear who had just stabbed a man through the throat turned her attention to a dog that was coming at her. Letting go of the spear in her hands her arms extended outward and pierced through the dog's skull with her bare hand. As her arm retracted she felt a searing pain spread over her body.
Two men attempted to kill her from behind only for Sasuke to move in between her and them. Sasuke's blade sliced through them like a hot knife through butter. Blood erupted from the wounds splashing on the three teens. "I told you not to try that yet." Sasuke said sounding annoyed. After learning that she had trained in the same style as the woman he had fought he attempted to teach her how do the same things they were able to do. It was a short term success as they quickly found that she had been able to do so but due to her lack of training caused her a large amount of pain.
"I'm sorry." She cringed as she picked up her weapon. Sasuke smiled under his mask at how tough the girl was.
"You bitch! You killed my dog!" one of the men who seemed to be in charge. Spear lifted up her spear and pierced the man's nose and through the back of his head. The Uchiha smirked and he shot past her and killed the other two before they could escape.
"Now that is done…" Sasuke said as he walked to the group of three. Spear reached them before him and started checking on the amber eyed girl whose legs had been broken. "There isn't much we can do at the moment. We will drop them off at the hospital after we finish off anyone left in this building." Sasuke said to Spear before walking away.
"Wait!" The pink haired girl yelled at the retreating Uchiha who paused mid step and looked back at it as a sign to continue speaking she did just that. "Please take us with you. Even if we were sent to the hospital we'd be left on the streets." She begged the Uchiha. The other two looked at their friend before looking at Sasuke with hope in their eyes.
"What do you mean?" Spear asked before the silent Uchiha could respond himself. "I mean didn't you get kidnapped?"
The blue haired girl shook her head, "No, we were sold by our village because it's so deep in debt. If we went back we would just be sold again to the next person. Our buyer was supposed to be the one to provide for us." The blue haired girl explained to the two.
"Taka we can't just leave them like that." Spear said to her teacher and caretaker. Sasuke sighed. "What would Kitsune say if he found out that you left them like that?" She asked while the three looked at the masked man.
Sasuke sighed, "We aren't a charity. We already have you and the other two living with us. We don't have room for so many people." The Uchiha tried to explain to his ward. The three girls looked disappointed by the fact that they wouldn't have a place to stay. Spear looked back at the three before looking back at Sasuke.
"I'll give up my room." Spear said to Sasuke. The Uchiha sighed was the four girls teamed up giving him the saddest look he had ever seen. 'Not even Sasuke can resist four pairs of puppy dog eyes.' She thought to herself.
"No." Sasuke said completely unaffected by the looks he was getting. "We have no room for vagabonds" Sasuke said to them. Did he feel bad for them? Yes. But he couldn't justify it to himself to let the three girls stay in their base. Even the three who were there now he was opposed to at first including Spear.
"We promise we wouldn't be living for free. We'll work for you! We can clean and take care for the chores for you! We can even cook for you and Kitsune!" Air tried to give Sasuke a reason to allow them to go with them. It wasn't like she really wanted to still be a servant considering what they had just experienced but it was better than starving on the streets.
"Sasuke please let them stay with us!" Spear said before covering her mouth. It had been her last resort into trying to get Sasuke to accept them. The only thing Sasuke cared more than keeping their secret was his best friend meaning that now he would either kill them or accept them. Sasuke's head snapped towards her. 'I can't believe I just did that! I'm going to get it now!' She thought as Sasuke's eyes narrowed on her.
Sasuke sighed in defeat. "They can stay." Sasuke growed out. Now that they knew his name he was forced into a corner. There was no way he could just let them out into the public with knowledge of his true name. So far there was only one Sasuke in the city and that was him. If they let it out that Taka was Sasuke who worked at the bar owned by Naruto they would easily link Kitsune to the whiskered teen.
The four girls cheered in unison now that the Uchiha had finally accepted them. Sasuke sighed as he walked away to take out his anger at being strong armed into accepting three more girls into their base.
When the group of five arrived at the temple Naruto couldn't help but laugh at the scowl on Sasuke's face. He had just heard what had happened from Spear and the fact that she managed to force Sasuke who was at the moment the strongest person outside of himself in the world as far as he knew. "Damn Teme. At this rate you may end up a with a harem!" Naruto joked much to the dismay of the four girls. Sasuke frowned at the distasteful joke and walked past them.
"Don't mind him girl, he's just on pissed he got played." Naruto said chuckling as he lead the group of girls into the temple. "We have two other staying with us. One is called Sayo who usually helps me around with things while the other is none other than Sheele of Night raid. She's just recovering at the moment from an accident she had when we found her." Naruto said before looking at the copper haired girl's legs.
"Oh yeah, Sasuke said you could heal my friend." The pink girl said to Naruto who smiled warmly at them and nodded. Out of the three of the new girls the one in blue blushed deeply at how kind the blond seemed. 'Looks like Luna has a crush already.' she thought before looking back at Naruto. "I'm Air by the way. My friends here are Luna and Fal. Please take care of us." She said bowing.
"Nice you meet you three. My name is Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto said as they arrived at an empty room. Naruto used his chakra to break the seal on the door and let them into the room. The inside of the room was empty minus a few empty scrolls on the walls. Naruto picked up Fal from Spear's shoulders and laid her on the floor as gently as possible. "Now lets get you fixed up." Naruto said as he transformed into his Rikudo form.
All four girls gasped at the power the blond was giving off now. A feeling of peace filled them as the blond smiled down at the copper haired girl and placed his heads on her broken legs. The girl gasped as she felt her bones mending themselves in her legs. As he finished Naruto turned off his transformation. "Whoa" was the only word that Fal could say to describe the event that had just occurred in front of her. She slowly tried standing up and while her legs were numb. The group of girls were amazed at the level of healing the blond could preform.
"If you think this is impressive you should have seen when I regrew Sheele's legs." Naruto laughed much to their shock. The feat he had just accomplished was a miracle in itself to them, they couldn't even imagine him regrowing someone's legs. "Now the three of you have gone through a lot today so please take the time to rest." Naruto said before leaving with Spear. "can you please go check on Sasuke for me Spear?" Naruto asked his fellow blond who nodded and left for Sasuke's room.
The blond watched her walk away before putting on his mask and entering Sheele's room. Over the last few days she had healed enough where she would be able to return home in a few days. It had been a hassle to keep his identity hidden from her but like Sasuke said, we can't trust her at the moment.
(With Spear)
Spear stood outside of Sasuke's room trying to think of a way to confront him. After what she had done she doubted that he even wanted to see her let alone hear he try to defend herself. "I know you're there Spear." His monotone voice came from the other side of the door. Spear froze up before gathering every single bit of courage she could and entered the room.
The first thing she saw was Sasuke polishing his sword with a cloth. "Sasuke I wanted to apologize for betraying your trust but I COULDN'T JUST LEAVE THEM LIKE THAT!" She yelled at the Uchiha who didn't flinch at the sudden rise in the volume of her voice. She couldn't help but close her eyes and wait for her teacher to scold her.
Much to her surprise Sasuke chuckled and placed a hand on her shoulder. Spear looked up at the smiling face of Sasuke. "It's fine. You were just enforcing your beliefs, but never do that again." Sasuke said to his ward who blushed at how close he was to her. Spear could only nod before she ran out of the room red faced. "What's wrong with her?" Sasuke asked before he went back to cleaning his blade.
(A two days later)
Sasuke stood next to to a blindfolded Sheele in the middle of the forest. It was about twelve at night and Naruto was still working late at the bar. "This is it Sheele. Kitsune said you are fully healed so you can return to your little group." Sasuke dressed as Taka said as he removed her blindfold. Sheele rubbed her eyes a bit before putting her glasses on.
Before she could turn around Taka was gone as if he was never there. "You know I know you're there Sayo." Sheele said out loud. One of the bushes shook before the raven haired girl walked out of the cover. "Why did you follow us?" The purple haired woman asked the childhood friend of her teammate.
"I...I want to see Tatsumi." She whispered softly but even then Sheele managed to hear her speaking. "Staying with Kitsune and Taka has been amazing, but there are things I need to settle with Tatsumi." She said. In her mind she knew she was betraying those that saved her life. She was betraying Naruto, the only reason she was alive right now.
Sheele looked at Sayo with a blank faces as she decided what to do. She could see tears flowing down the face of the younger woman. It was clear that what she was doing was taking a large toll on her emotions. "I'll take you." Sheele said smiling at the teen who nodded. The two walked away into the foliage. Neither noticed the pair of eyes glaring at them from the cover of the trees.
'I knew you would betray us Sayo.' The person thought to himself before dropping down into the moonlight. The figure was revealed to be none other than Sasuke Uchiha. Even though Sayo had done everything in her power to keep herself hidden from him, she largely underestimated his abilities. 'Your actions will hurt Naruto, I will punish you for this betrayal.' Sasuke said as he vanished into the air.
(Night Raid HQ)
"Everyone wake up! Sheele's back!" Mine yelled as she ran into the main hall of their base. Her voice resonated through the building walking up everyone inside of the building. The sounds of doors opening and people running echoed through the halls as the members of the assassination group minus Lubbock and Leone ran to confirm their friend's claim.
As they arrived they were greeted with the sight of Sayo and Sheele standing behind an exited mine. Tatsumi's eyes widened when his eyes landed on his long time friend. The last time they had met it hadn't been the best moment for him because of his accidental assault.
"Sayo!" Tatsumi yelled as he ran to his friend and hugged was a bit hesitant as the events of the night of their reunion came back. but those thoughts were quickly pushed back allowing her to embrace her friend. "I'm so sorry." He cried out.
The rest of Night Raid swarmed Sheele asking her questions. "I can't believe Kitsune really gave you back your legs." Akame said in awe as she examined her perfectly sculpted legs which looked no different than they looked before the fateful mission where Sheele and Mine were attacked by the guard Seryu.
"Yes, he treated me very well and helped me with any therapy I need to get over the shock my body went through when I lost my legs." She said smiling as the memories of the time she spent with the man flashed through her mind.
"So I see you brought a friend." Najenda said smiling as she looked over at the black haired girl. "I'm surprised to see you. From what I hear you are Tatsumi's old friend. My name is Najenda, I'm the current leader if Night Raid." Najenda said to the teen who nodded and let go of Tatsumi.
Sayo bowed to the group. "My name is Sayo, it's a pleasure to meet all of you." She said to ethr group who smiled at her. The look on Tatsumi's face showed that he truthfully couldn't have been happier that Sayo was finally back at his side. After that night he felt only dread that she would for ever be his enemy.
"I'll go make some meat to celebrate." Akame said smiling. The group didn't know if she was happy because her friend was finally back or because she had an excuse to eat. Probably mixture of both.
"I'm afraid that will have to wait."
Sayo froze at the sound of the voice that resonated through the hall. It was the of someone she had come to both fear and respect. The only person she knew who was able to match the person who took care of her in power and skill. "Taka." She said before a tornado of leaves blew into life in the middle of the room.
The only two with their weapon ready were Bulat who always kept the key for his Teigu on hand and Mine who was on patrol duty. The rest took a stepped away from the twister of leaves.
"How dare you." Sasuke said as he dispersed the leaves around him. He was wearing his whole Taka outfit but his eyes were clearly visible to the entire group. While they had heard rumors and seen pictures of Taka's eyes, this was the first time they had seen them in person. Akame was the the first notice that unlike Kitsune's eyes that held warmth and kindness, Taka's eyes were cold and distant. "Kitsune saved your life, he clothed you, he trained you, and he gave you a place to stay when you had nothing. I knew we shouldn't have trusted you." Sasuke said as he unsheathed his blade.
Bulat didn't waste any time and activated his armor while Mine aimed her Pumpkin at Sasuke. Sayo however tried to reason with the Uchiha who had his eyes set on her. "Taka, please let me explain! I enjoyed spending time with you and Kitsune but I can't just turn my back on Tatsumi like that." Sayo pleaded.
"There is nothing to talk about." Sasuke said as he aimed his sword at Sayo. "I warned you that if you ever betrayed us you wouldn't last the night. I gave you the pleasantry of allowing you to see your friend one last time and Naruto isn't here save you." Sasuke said before charging at the group. Bulat was the first to react as he charged at Sasuke. Bulat's spear met Sasuke's sword as the two clashed. The Uchiha was honestly surprised how strong the man before him was physically. He was no where near Sakura and Tsunade but was by far one of the strongest compared to the people of this world. Even more so than the woman he battled before.
"You're fast you know." Bulat said as he tried to hold back Sasuke. Truth be told he was shocked by how strong the masked man was for his body frame, but considering how his other teammates described Kitsune he couldn't really say that it was completely unexpected.
"And you're stronger than I thought." Sasuke said before looking over to the side to see the pink haired girl aiming her weapon at him. Sasuke jumped away from the armored man in time to dodge a shot to his head. "I guess this will be two on one. How unfortunate, Kitsune got to fight three of you. Four if you count the boy." He said looking at Tatsumi who was standing in front of Sayo as if protecting her.
Bulat frowned under his armor at how lightly the man in front of him was taking him. Mine aimed at the Uchiha and fired another shot at him once again only for the Uchiha to vanish in a burst of speed. Sasuke reappeared behind her and placed his hand on the back of her neck. "Mine!" Bulat yelled out in an attempt to warn his teammate and threw his spear at the Uchiha who turned his attention to weapon. Mine attempted to get away from the Uchiha while he was distracted but felt his hand wrap around her neck.
Night Raid was shocked when a dark purple aura erupted from around Sasuke and materialized a skeleton-like arm out of pure energy and knocked the spear back sending it spinning into a wall. "I think you'll find that unlike my partner I don't like to waste time as much." Sasuke said threw Mine out of the aura. "However this may be one of the few moments where I may be able to fight someone who is a threat so please. Entertain me." Sasuke said as his aura faded away. 'Now that they know a bit about what I can do, lets see them fight.' The Uchiha thought before charging at Bulat who had recovered his weapon.
The two weapons crashed against one another. The force from the impact caused them to rebound back a bit before they were forced back together by their respective users. Sparks flew as the two weapons crashed against one another. Sasuke swung his blade again at Bulat who blocked it it with his swear.
The larger man's weapon was pushed aside by the Uchiha's blade. Sasuke coated his sword in a sheet of electricity and connected with Bulat's armor. Much to his surprise the blade wasn't able to completely cut through the armor with the amount of power he was using. Bulat leaped away from the Uchiha as Mine fired another shot at Sasuke. Sasuke noticed this one was much faster and stronger than the last two.
The Uchiha back flipped away from the spot he knew the blast would land. Quickly he noticed that the man he was just fighting was no longer visible. 'Invisibility? Sorry but this isn't the first time I fought someone like that.' Sasuke thought smirking as he used his special eyes to locate Bulat going around him for a sneak attack.
The Uchiha pretended to be unaware as he continued to weave around Mine's attacks. They seemed to get stronger as he got closer to him. He had to admit that her aim was superb. If he wasn't so much faster that anything she was able to fire he was sure he would be filled with holes at the moment.
Bulat had snuck around so that he was behind the Uchiha while he was dodging Mine's attacks. Even if she wasn't able to land a proper hit on him it was a good enough distraction while he got ready to attack. Once he saw an opening he charged at the Uchiha with the intent to impale him with her weapon.
Sasuke saw Bulat make his move and waited for him to get near him. When the larger man was within his range Sasuke moved out of the away and grabbed the spear by the handle. The 100-man slayer wasn't able to react in time and was thrown into one of Mine's blasts.
"Bulat!" Mine yelled as she stopped firing to check on her friend. The armored man stood back up with a few cracks on the side of his armor where he was hit. Mine saw Sasuke aiming his sword at his head and fired before the Uchiha could attack.
Sasuke jumped back away from the shot. "I expected much more. But I have to get back before Kitsune returns." Sasuke said as his purple aura returned and grew into a massive skeleton-like figure. "Behold the Susano'o." Sasuke said as he used one of his lower form of his jutsu.
Bulat was ready for battle as he jumped at the massive figure determined not to give up. He attempted to pierce through the Uchiha's defence only for his weapon to stop after piercing a few inches into the aura. "Damn. If you weren't my enemy I would ask you to dinner." Bulat said much to Sasuke's confusion.
"I don't know how to respond to that so I'll just pretend you didn't say anything." Sasuke muttered as he used his Susano'o's arm to pick up Bulat. The man screamed in pain as he was slowly crushed in Susano'o grip. Mine started to panic when she heard the man's screams and fired a massive blast at the arm Uchiha's Susano'o that held Bulat.
Sasuke made no effort to dodge the attack and let it hit his 'Ultimate Defence'. The first thing he noticed was that this attack was much stronger than the rest by an insane amount. The second was that it was able to create break the arm allowing Bulat to break free. Sasuke's eyes widened at the sight that a part of his Susano'o was destroyed. "Impressive." The Uchiha praised as he regrew the arm.
"He can regrow it's limbs!?" Mine yelled out in anger that the ethereal warrior's arm that she had just destroyed was repaired in a few seconds. "At least I got Bulat out of there." She muttered angrily
"Taka stop this!" Sayo yelled as she aimed her teigu at the Uchiha. She didn't want to actively fight against Kitsune's partner but she couldn't let him hurt Tatsumi's friends.
"Woah you have a Tiegu!" Tatsumi yelled in shock as his childhood friend revealed that the bow she was carrying was in fact one of the missing Teigu. 'Even Sayo got a Teigu before me!' he cried on the inside.
"It was a gift from Kitsune and Taka." She said sadly. It really did hurt her that she now had to point the same weapon they let her use against them.
"She's right Taka." A new voice said from behind the Night Raid. The group looked back to see Kitsune walking towards them from the door. He didn't bother looking at Sayo as he walked past the group. Akame watched at the man who groped her before completely changed from the first encounter she had with him. "You know that I allowed her to choose her path. I don't like it but we are not forcing her to stay with us." Kitsune said to the other masked man.
Sasuke sighed and powered down his Susano'o. "Very well." He said glaring at the raven haired girl who in his eyes had still betrayed them.
"Lets go." Naruto said as he prepared to leave with his partner.
"Kitsune wait!" Sayo yelled as she came forward. "I-I never wanted things to escalate this far. It's just that I was so confused on what to do." She admitted to the blond man. Tatsumi placed a hand on her shoulder. "The reason I came here was because before coming to the city...I was in love with Tatsumi." She said surprising everyone who heard that.
Naruto chuckled. "I see. Taka, I say that is more than a good enough reason for her to stay here." the fox masked man said to his best friend who stared at him for a few second before nodding. "Well if that's how you feel, then st-" Naruto started before he was interrupted by the girl.
"I-I didn't finish." Sayo said to the cloaked blond. "As I said I was in love with him, b-but as I spent time with you I noticed that I was starting to like you as well." She said blushing. Tatsumi was by far the most shocked out of all of them. He almost looked a bit heartbroken. "I'm just so confused on what I should do so I wanted to spend time with Tatsumi to see if I still loved him. I, I just need more time." She stated.
Behind her Sheele was pouting at the declaration. She had to admit that she too had gained some sort of feelings for the masked man even if she had never seen his real face.
Naruto himself was unable to say anything for while before sighing. He didn't know how to take the sudden statement. Sure he enjoyed spending time with Sayo but he didn't know if he loved her. Plus there was also Leone. There was no way he would ever hurt her but at the same time he didn't want to hurt the girl he saved either. "Sayo." Naruto said as he walked over to the crying girl.
Tatsumi stepped in the way of the man and got into a fighting stance. "I don't know what lies you fed to Sayo but you're not taking a step closer." the green eyed teen said to Naruto who stopped a few feet from him.
"Move." Naruto said as he effortlessly pushed Tatsumi out of the way. Getting to Sayo, Naruto placed his hands on her shoulders. Even if she couldn't see it she knew he was smiling at her. "Sayo, whatever you choose just follow your heart. You'll always have a place with us if you need." The blond said as the girl hugged him. Naruto smiled and patted her on the back before walking back to Sasuke's side. "I apologize for the problems we caused." Naruto said to the group.
From the back of the group a woman with short silver hair wearing a suit that showed her cleavage. Her right eye was covered by an eyepatch while her left eye was a beautiful purple. What caught his attention was her mechanical right arm and one other thing but at the moment he couldn't place his figure on it.
Seeing that Kitsune was staring at her intensely. "Oh? I see you're taken by my womanly charm." She joked as she gave her hair a small flip. Naruto just stared at her and tilted his head to the side.
"Female Kakashi-sensei?" Naruto said confused. Even Sasuke had to let out a small chuckle at how idiotic his partner was at times. Looking closer he couldn't help but admit that she was indeed a woman and a gorgeous one at that.
"I am a woman!" She yelled at him. She hated when people confused her for a man.
The blond laughed a bit and put his hands up in defence. "I'm sorry."
"We're wasting time Dobe." Sasuke said to his partner. He was still a bit annoyed that his fight had gotten interrupted right as it was starting to get good.
"Since you now know who we are now I say that it's only fair that you show us who you are." Najenda suggested to the two. Sparks started to come to life on the Uchiha's sword at the suggestion. He really was starting to get annoyed with the whole ordeal. Not only did someone who knew their true identities left their group, now said group was demanding to know who they were.
"No." Sasuke said coldly.
"Oh and how can we trust that you wouldn't reveal to the Empire the identities of the few here who are still not on the wanted list?" Najenda countered.
"Alright." Naruto said as he placed his hand on the hand Sasuke was using to hold his sword. "Taka will not reveal his identity but I will." Kitsune said much to Sasuke's ire.
"What are you saying!?" Taka growled as he grabbed Naruto by the collar. "How can you just trust them like that!" he growled at his brother figure who sighed. Sasuke knew that Naruto saw things differently from him but it was still a risk. The more people who knew who they were, the higher the chance that someone else would find out. Even if he annoyed the hell out of him, the reincarnation of Asura was still the last link he had to his home and was one of few precious people.
"I know that what I'm doing is dangerous and probably a stupid, but Sayo trust them and I trust a few of them myself. Besides, having a few allies in the revolutionary army wouldn't be so bad. Like I said you don't have to reveal who you are and we are in no way joining their army. This is just a way to making new bonds." Naruto said as he used his chakra to break the seals holding his mask onto his face.
As the mask slipped from his faces everyone watched the blond's face slowly reveal itself. The blonde's face cause everyone except for Mine, Tatsumi, and Sasuke to blush deeply. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki." he said to the group of assassins.
"LEONE'S BOYFRIEND!" the entirety of Night Raid yelled out in shock. The girls seemed a bit jealous of their blonde friend. Even Najenda and Akame were blushing at the blond's smiling face.
I told you so lol. Yeah a lot of things happened this chapter and it seems like things are heating up between Night Raid and the Shinobi. Sorry if you were expecting the Naruto/Esdeath part but I felt like I needed to do a few things before then.
Well now I'm out to Update Hellsing.
