At last I have returned my people...yeah sorry about the wait. Anyways let us get on to the story now shall we? Oh and their is a little surprise later on as a reward for the wait...well if you like that kind of stuff. You'll see now on to what you guys came form aka not me talking.
Naruto walked down the halls of the palace where the emperor lived. He had been called in by the Prime Minister Honest for some kind of special meeting. To say he hated the man was an understatement, it was clear from what he heard from the people around the city and Leone that he was the one who made the country like it was.
Beside Naruto was Wave who had been asked to come with him to the meeting. It was a piece of information that made sure to pass to to Sasuke. This was their chance to weaken the Jaegers and at the same time have the chance to gather some strength if Kurome decided to join their side.
"What do you think this meeting is about Naruto?" Wave asked the blond who looked at the only normal member of their group. If their was anyone in the group that Naruto could say was a good person it was Wave. Despite is misguided choice of loyalty, he was a decent guy who just wanted to serve his country. The only other person Naruto could really consider talking to was Kurome and Bors. The two were both okay but had their faults which made him a bit weary. Lastly was Seryu who Naruto was planning on killing soon.
The blond scratched the back of his head as he tried to think of the reason. It had been a sudden announcement on the Minister's part. It had only been a day since Esdeath was put in the infirmary due to her beaten condition. "I don't know. So many things are going on right now with the war and Kitsune and Taka." Naruto responded earning a nod from the teen.
"Yeah it's crazy." Wave said to the shinobi who glanced at him from the side. "To think that General Esdeath could be defeated by such an unknown. It almost feels like we're running out of options. First Night Raid and then these two. We already lost Stylish and Esdeath is now in a coma. Who knows what will happen to use without those two." Wave said sounding a bit worried for their group.
"Only time will tell Wave. Maybe...this was for the best." Naruto said earning a shocked look from the fellow Jaeger. "I mean that it wasn't really a secret that Stylish was a bit fucked up in the head, I mean look what happened to Kurome. Right as we speak she is scavenging through what remained of his lab for the medication she needs." The blond said earning a downcasted look from Wave.
'He...right.' Wave admitted to himself. He had seen many of the horrifying things Stylish had created during their first mission. "That doesn't mean I have to like it." the former fisherman said to the blond who nodded.
"After this I think I'm going to take a break and go into the city. I have a few friends I haven't seen in forever who I really want to talk to. I also have to check on the bar I ran before all this Jaeger stuff." Naruto stated. Wave nodded understanding where he was coming from. Esdeath had been keeping him on a rather short leash only letting him go far from her on rare occasions.
"Okay, but please check on General Esdeath before you leave. You know she really does care for you Naruto...in her own special way." Wave said earning a sweatdrop from the blond.
"Well here we are…" naruto said as they reacted the room they were told to meet in.

"Found them." The black haired teen said as she opened a canister left behind in the ruins of Stylish lab. The young assassin cloughed roughly into her hand, looking at her palm she saw blood splattered against her skin. "Just in time, I was running out of time." Kurome said to herself as she opened the case to find an assortment of drugs.
"I think you meant you ran out of time." A cold voice came from behind. Kurome turned around to see Sasuke walking towards her drawing his sword. "You're coming with me girl, or I'll end your life." The Uchiha said. Kurome's eyes widened at the sight of the masked man. The teen stood up and drew her sword in preparation for battle.
"Taka." Kurome said sounding more than a bit annoyed by the situation. Here she was by herself without any of the other Jaegers to help her fight the masked man. 'This guy should around Kitsune's level if they are partners. This is bad, I'm not at full health and even then I'm not as strong as Esdeath who lost against Kitsune. But I won't just lay down and give up. I will not be useless!' Kurome thought to herself.
"I see we're doing this the hard way." Sasuke said pointing his sword at Kurome. "Last chance Kurome, come with me peaceful and I can help you." Sasuke said shocking her as purple fire erupted behind him Kurome watched in shock as a giant head came out of the ground. It's eyes were purple with four rings around the pupil. "Unlike the Empire, I can clean your body of the drugs in your body. I can restore your health back to it's maximum potential." Sasuke said placing his hand on the King of Hell's side.
"Lier. I will not betray the empire like my sister." Kurome said drawing her blade. The uchiha looked on with interest as Kurome pointed the katana towards the sky. A black ball formed above the tip of the blade before purple and black lightning erupted from it and into the ground around Kurome. "March of the Dead Yatsufusa"
Sasuke's eyes widened a bit under his mask as he saw eight bodies crawl out of the ground around Kurome. 'A move like Orochimaru's Edo Tensei? How?' He thought to himself as his eight new opponents finished their appearance. The most noticeable one was a massive skeletal dinosaur looking monster that now stood behind Kurome. He also noticed that one of them looked like a humanoid guerilla while the other was a large green and red frog. Out of the more human looking zombies one had red skin with blank white eyes and an empty black mouth. Over his eyes were two red button like horns.
"I will not go down without a fight." Kurome said to Sasuke who sighed. He really hoped that whatever ability she used to revive these people lacked the healing abilities of the jutsu used by his old sensei. The first attack came from one of the human ones who appeared to be female with blond hair and green eyes. The female zombie drew two pistoles and started to fire at the masked assassin.
Sasuke went on the move as he evaded the rain of bullets from the undead assassin. His eyes caught the red man trying to flank him from the side with a knife. "You think you can sneak up on me?" Sasuke asked as a purple aura surrounded him. Kurome watched with extreme interest as Taka's energy formed into a rib cage that covered his body and sprouted a skeletal arm.
"Get out of their Henter!" Kurome ordered her purple but the tribal man wasn't able to move away from Sasuke before he was caught in his Susano'o grip. The ground shook as the large dinosaur-like danger beast fired a beam of energy at him. Sasuke jumped out of the way with Henter still in his grip.
"Pathetic." Sasuke said as he crushed the red puppet in his Susano'o grip. He was very pleased to see that the man didn't regenerate like an edo tensei would. "Interesting, luckily for me I've a much more dangerous reanimation technique in the past." Taka said as he let the blond's bullets hit his susano'o. Kurome frowned at the sight that one of her puppet's attacks couldn't bypass his defences.
The giant frog jumped over the Uchiha and landed behind the reincarnation of Indra. The undead amphibian opened it's large mouth letting its tongue out. Sasuke dashed to the side only for the tongue to follow after him. "Just like the toads…" Sasuke muttered to himself as he formed a purple sword and went to severe the frog's tongue only for the apeman to catch the sword.
From behind the danger beast swung its arm at Sasuke only for a second arm to form out of the susano'o letting Sasuke catch the Desta Ghoul's attack.
"You're outnumbered Taka." Kurome said as she charged at him. The dark eyed girl's blade clashed against Sasuke's susano'o but wasn't able to cut through it enough to reach him. A frown mared her face as Kurome retreated away from the Uchiha. Apeman's strength finally gave out under Sasuke's attack and was batted out of the way. "Desta Ghoul!" Kurome called out.
Sasuke looked over to see the giant monster of a skeleton open it's mouth again. "RRRRAARGG!" The Danger Beast roared before firing a massive energy blast at Sasuke. All of Kurome's undead puppets cleared out of the way before the mass of destructive energy crashed into him. The ground shook as collision resulted in a grand explosion kicking up dust.
"Far too weak." Kurome's eyes widened as she saw the masked man standing in the center of the crater completely unharmed by the attack. "No let me show you my strength." Sasuke stated as his susano'o grew rapidly until it was the same size as the desta ghoul. Kurome watched in awe Sasuke was surrounded by a giant humanoid figure. "This will be enough, no need to use anything bigger." Sasuke said before his Susano'o summoned two swords.
The Desta Ghoul roared as it slashed at Sasuke only for it to be met with a chakra sword. Sasuke reared his susanoo's arm back preparing to cut off the beast's arm. 'I can't beat him!' Kurome thought to herself as she saw her strongest puppet lose one of it's arms so easily. It burned her to admit that. To admit that in the face of this masked man she wasn't capable at all. That none of her training or the body enhancing drugs she was given made a difference against this. She felt useless again.
"Time to end this. Amaterasu." Sasuke stated before the undead danger beast was engulfed in a sea of pitch black fire. The dark blaze burned the beast until their wasn't even ash left over. "This is the power I hold." Sasuke said down to Kurome. "Now I ask you again. Come with me and I'll heal you and reunite you with your sister. Or die here a broken tool." The Uchiha said coldly.
Kurome's eyes widened at the mention of her sister but before she could give Sasuke her response she felt an arm like tongue wrap around her and pull her back. She managed to catch a glimpse of the being Taka had summoned just before the battle with its mouth wide open and the tongue that was wrapped around her coming out of it;s void of a mouth.
"Not that your answer matters." Sasuke said with a final smirk as he saw the remaining undead return into the ground. "Ugh I'm turning into that idiot." Sasuke muttered as he lowered himself down in front of the King of Hell who was making chewing motions. Moments later its mouth opened once again and it's tongue pulled out Kurome's body. The otherworldly being closed it's mouth before returning back to its home world.
The Uchiha sealed away Kurome's weapon before picking her up. The masked man then picked up the unconscious teen before vanishing in a swirl of leaves.
Temple
Air and Luna had just finished cooking a massive meal of various meats Spear had gotten from going danger beast hunting with Sasuke. The Uchiha had asked them to make sure they had more than the normal amount of food. "Why would you bring her here?!" The three questioned.
"She would be a good ally." Sasuke said holding back one of his real reasons. It didn't really matter to him if this favor got him on Night Raid's good side. But he did feel some kind of kinship with the girl. She had a relationship with her sister that was similar to what he had with Itachi. Their older sibling had betrayed and left their side leaving them to believe they were evil. While the situation was a bit different he didn't want her to go through what he did.
"Ugh" The four heard the girl groan as she sat up. Sasuke motioned for the three teen to move away from Kurome. Despite her not having her sword he knew that she could still be dangerous in hand to hand combat. "Where am I?" She asked as she rubbed her head. Looking up she came face to face with the man who had soundly defeated her in battle. Flashes of how her strongest puppet had been overwhelmed before she was captured. "What did you do to me?"

If he remembered correctly Leone had told Naruto that Akame herself was a big eater. He had assumed that her sister was the same so he had asked for a feast to be prepared. "So much food…" She muttered to herself but was heard by Sasuke.
"Good job girls." Sasuke said to the three who smiled before leaving the two. Sasuke turned to Kurome, "You may eat as much as you want. If your sister is anything to go buy then you must like to eat as well." The Uchiha said as he sat down on one side of the table. Kurome herself sat across from him. Within seconds Sasuke watched the girl pick up a large piece of danger beast meat by the bone and take a chomp out of it.
'Sage help me.' Sasuke thought as Kurome tore through the food in front of her.'Where does she keep it all?' He questioned as the meat on the table was disappearing piece by piece. See as he was unable to talk to the dark eyed teen while she was eating Sasuke decided to sit back and wait for her to finish. He assumed that one of the drugs she was under suppressed her hunger so when he removed it it brought it back full force. "I see. I doubt you did this out of the kindness of your heart considering that I'm on the side of the empire. Why did you help me?" Kurome asked Taka who looked at her in the eyes. She could see his eyes clearly for the first time. Like Kitsune he seemed to have strange eyes that looked similar to those on a danger beast.
"You and I are very similar Kurome." Sasuke said as he pulled his mask off for her. It was the first time he had done so in a long time in front of someone who didn't already know but he need to be more convincing and wearing a mask didn't make him seem trustful. Kurome blushed a bit when she finally got to see what he looked like. Like her he had shoulder lengthed short black hair and black eyes. "My name is Sasuke Uchiha. Now that you know this, I'll kill you if you ever betray me or Kitsune. As I was saying like you my older brother betrayed the faction I was affiliated with. After he left I trained every day and night to catch up to him. In the end, I killed him." Sasuke said said.
"He was a traitor." Kurome responded.
Sasuke glared at her releasing his killing intent. Kurome gasped for air as the feeling of fear flooded her. "Don't ever say that again. My brother gave his life for the good of the village. He went to hell and back being seen as a traitor when the entire time he had been a hero." Sasuke said coldly before returning to a neutral tone. "Just like your sister." Sasuke added.
"My sister betrayed betrayed me. She left me alone in the Empire and joined the enemy." Kurome said honestly. Sasuke looked at her with curiosity From the way she talked it seemed like she seemed to hate Akame for the fact that she left her behind while she left then joined the other faction. Something he saw as a similarity between Akame and Itachi, only the Akatsuki wasn't good.
"You know." Sasuke said closing his eyes. "As much as I hated my brother. As much as I dedicated my entire life to training in order to kill him, to the point where I betrayed my best friend for power. As much as I wanted him dead at my hands. I still loved him." Sasuke said opening his eyes. Kurome was entranced by the Uchiha's strange eyes. "My right eye is called the Mangekyo Sharingan. It's a mutation in my families eyes when experiencing a huge amount of emotional pain such as losing a loved on. Many once thought you needed to kill your best friend to achieve this power. I got it when I killed my brother." Sasuke said.
He didn't normally tell anyone this kind of stuff nor was he this revealing with his enemies but for the sake of getting Kurome to trust him he needed to show some trust back. He needed to show her that he wasn't going to use or hurt her. And now that the drugs were removed from her body she wouldn't need to rely on the empire any longer. And in the case she did betray them he could kill her.

Despite not knowing the man personally she could see why he said they were similar and it did make her think a bit. Kurome's eyes widened when she saw small cracks appearing on her sword. "Don't!" Kurome yelled. Without it she would be useless and alone once again.
"Hn?" Sasuke said as he gripped the blade where he cracked it before letting go to show that the cracks had been repaired. Sasuke sheathed the sword before glaring at Kurome, "You know, I could have killed you before. My Susano'o was beyond anything you could have hoped to beat even at less than half power. But I guess I want to give you the same chance that Kitsune gave me." Sasuke said before sealing the sword away.
"What chance?" Kurome asked.
"You have the night to think about this offer. Join us and I'll let you live and meet your sister to settle your differences in a less lethal way. Or try to escape to the empire, which WILL end in you death." Sasuke offered the teen who narrowed her eyes a bit but nodded none the less. "Follow me, I'll show you to the room you'll stay in." Sasuke said leading the Empire assassin through the temple. "This will be your room, for how long it remains your room is up to you. Their is food in teh fridge in the kitchen if you feel hungry. And if you even think about killing anyone..." Sasuke paused before looking at her with his doujutsus fully active "...I'll make you suffer before I end your life."
