While everyone is sleeping. Gus then has another vision flash. Seeing Azura and the gang at a rift. Then a blast of magic comes out of it. Gus shields himself. Then he sees the burned skeletons of the guard around him. Before looking forward to see the back of some sort of disfigured person as they shout, "No!" Before they create another blast wave of red magic. That makes Gus wake up in a sweat. Looking around to see everyone is alright. He composes himself as he tells himself, "Just a bad dream." Then before he goes back to sleep, he sees a red glow outside the window. He looks out and sees the castle and the entire realm covered by a dome of red light with what looks like a fire of red flames at its base. Gus turns to the others shouting, "Everybody wake up!" Willow being the first, "Huh, Gus what is it!"

Gus, "Look outside, quick!"

Luz and Willow step up beside Gus. With Luz being the first to say, "There's nothing there." Gus then in an almost frantic state, "No that's what was supposed to be there. It was like we and everything were under a red dome and there was fire burning at its base. Coming towards us and…" Everybody looking at Gus annoyed with Jerbo asking, "that's it?" Scarra in a more agitated tone, "You woke us because you had a bad dream." Willow steps in to calm them, "Hey come on gang. I'm sure this was a one-time only thing. If Gus says he saw something that scared him. We should not be quick to get upset with him. Besides, it's over now. Right Gus?"

Gus shifting his attention and eyes to everyone looking at him. "Uh, yeah, yeah. Everything is ok now. You can all go back to sleep."

Willow asking Gus gently, "Are you sure everything is alright with you?" Gus with a concerned looks quietly replies, "I don't know. There's just something about this place, these people, this whole world. It's like something is being hidden and somebody is going out of their way to cover it. I swear, there is just something not right about this world." Willow putting her right hand on his shoulder. "I can only imagine, but so far the people we've come to be with have not given us any reason not to trust them." "Maybe not Willow, but I just can't shake off this uncomfortable feeling that there is something fundamentally very wrong with this world."

"Well let's try to get back to sleep," Willow gently says as she encourages Gus to go back to sleep. She then asks him, "Would it help if I slept with you." "No, no, thanks Willow. I'll be alright." "You sure?" "Yup," he responds while also giving a thumbs up.

While everyone goes back to sleep. Gus stands by the window and staring out into the night intently. Seeing a brief flicker of that same red colored magic he saw. Asking himself, "What is it? Why does that keep appearing? What does it mean? What is going on in this world?"

The next day everyone is having breakfast. Though Luz is the first to notice Gus is not eating. "Something wrong Gus?" She asks concerned. Gus in reply, "Oh, no I'm just not hungry." He then stands to say, "I'm going out to get some air." Luz asks Willow, "Do you think he's alright. Cause BFF senses are telling me he is not." Willow, "I agree, whatever it was that shook him up last night must still be bothering him." "Hey," Hunter says as he steps in. "I did not mean to interrupt, but if you two are concerned about Gus. I'll go keep an eye on him." Willow with a wink of approval, "Thanks Hunter."

Hunter finds Gus out in the courtyard who is checking the grass. Hunter asks, "Hey Gus." Gus turning to see who it is. "Oh, Hunter it's you." "I hope I'm not bothering you." "No not at all. In fact I could use someone to talk to." Hunter, "It's Willow and Luz were worried that whatever it was that upset you last night. Might be making you unwell and I volunteered to see if I could help in anyway." "As a matter of fact you can. Though not here. I wish to discuss this with you in private away from prying eyes and ears." "Why?" "Hunter please trust me on this." "Ok, but I'll tell them we're going flying to take in some more sights." "Thanks Hunter."

After about 20 minutes of flying Gus and Hunter land with their palismans resting on their shoulders. Hunter asks, "Ok Gus, I think we're far enough away. Now what was it you wanted to tell me?" Gus, "Ok you're going to think this sound strange, but I have noticed a few subtle but consistent inconsistencies that have been going on." "How so?" "Well remember when we first came to this world and you said that the bakery, we had destroyed had suddenly repaired itself with no clear sign anyone had worked on it?" "Yes." "Well last night I had another vision that brought on another migraine. When I woke up I saw the entire realm appearing to be under a dome of red magic. It seemed similar to what I did in Hexside the day we met. Then it just disappeared, but before I went back to sleep, I saw a shimmer move across the sky and down to the ground with that same red magic." Hunter asks, "Are you saying that you think there is some kind of illusion going on." "I'm not sure, though…" Then a man walks by to tip his hat as he stiffly says, "Good morning boys. What a perfect day. I am going to work now. Have a perfect day." Gus asks, "Did he seem to acting a little strange to you?" "Yeah, come to think of it he did say have a perfect day. Instead of have a nice day. He almost seemed to be acting like one of those random people you encounter like in the human realm video games." Gus, "Not only that, but I also didn't really sense any thoughts from him at all." Hunter, "Gus I don't want to admit it, but I think you might be right. There is something very wrong with this world. The weather, the food, the places, and people. It's all perfect. Almost too perfect. Like…" "Un-naturally perfect," says Gus. "Yes."

Suddenly there is an explosion and they see that a five-headed dragon is attacking the castle. Hunter, "This will need to wait till later. But before they can get off the ground a blast of red magic energy comes at them both, and both end up falling to the ground as statues. A woman starts saying, "I can't let you undue what I have spent years making. I will make your friends think you are alright." Making a pair of fake Gus and Hunter complete with their Palismans. "Still if your friends also start poking around where they should not. I will get rid of them as well."

Then from behind a stand of trees. Gus and Hunter re-appear from an illusion cloak Gus had made. Gus asks, "Is she gone." Hunter, "Yes, good thing I kept those abomination blow-up helpers that I learned from Darius. Also, great job with that instant illusion." Gus almost faints from fatigue because of it. Hunter catches him, "We need to warn the others." "We will Gus, but we both need to let whoever that was who tried to petrify us to think she succeeded. While we regain our strength and plan our next move."

The five headed dragon is like the DnD monster Tiamat. Blasting with her breath attacks while everyone dodges as best, they can and blasting the Tiamat dragon as best they can.

Willow gets knocked to the side. While the others finally manage to contain and drive the dragon away.

Gus and Hunter manage to find and take out the fake versions of themselves. Before rejoining the others. With Hunter asking concerned, "Wait, where's Willow?"

Willow, getting up from the ground briefly shakes her head to bring her back to her senses. Then she finds Clover trying to pull her to the side. She asks, "Clover what is it? We need to back with the others…" She then turns in the direction Clover is pointing and sees to her utter shock and disbelief written on a tomb stone with Azura's statue standing over it along with three others with the names of the guardians on them, "Azura. Beloved daughter, friend, and guardian. R.I.P. No, it can't be."
