From now on, the story will be from Lori's perspective unless I absolutely have to change the viewpoint. Enjoy! Warning: Beware of Irene's Foul Language!

I walk to the Quidditch Field alone, my arms keeping my chest warm. Snow fell from the sky, and the wind blew it west, making the weather even colder. One of the good things about missing-though not really missing at all- three months of school was that I could enjoy my favorite season. Though with all that's been going, I can't really enjoy it.

How could he do that to me? I trusted him!

Though, I thought, he could've been working with him his entire life.

I suppose it made sense. He did-after all- carry the traits of a Slytherin in his personality. He -tempered and easily-angered, and he was possesive of me.

It made sense. He was never close with his family, always locked up in his room.

I remembered one of my many visits to his home, Cessna Cottage. It was small but cozy, vines growing over the wooden walls. There was a little water fall that kept water for the Koi in his pond. Inside was a bit bigger than you'd think. There was a small kitchen, a round wooden table eith three chairs in the center. Next to the kitchen was a couch in front of the fireplace, where a kettle of water would usually be heatin' up at. On the second floor, there was a hallway of three doors. One of them led to a bathroom, one to Ms. Cessna's bedroom, and one to Michael's bedroom.

I had walked in, snow covering me from my walk through the forest. Ms. Cessna came up to me and helped brush off the snow.

"Oh, dear, you must be freezing. Let me get you a cuppa hot cocoa to warm ye' up,"she said, rushing to the kitchen. She made three mugs and handed me one.

"Thank you."

She smiled at me before she turned to the stairs. "Michael! Come down 'ere! Lori's here and I made Cocoa!" she called.

"In a minute, Mum, I'm busy!" he called back.

She sighed and sat across from me with her own Mug. "He's always up in his room, he never comes down unless it's for meals!" she cried,"I'm all alone!"

"Why? Don't you have a husband?"

She sighed and went on to tell me about her husband's death.

Lori was in tears. "I know how you feel, losing someone you love deeply,"she said. She then went on to tell her about her near-death experience with her parents and her twin's demise.

After 10 minutes of exchanging stories, he finally came down, grabbing his cold cup of cocoa.

"What were you doing up there?"I asked. He looked at the table.

"Don't worry about it,"he said.

"Oi! Lori!" I turned around and saw the Doctor walking towards me. Just as he took a step, Gryffindor Tower blew up.

"No!"I yelled. I started running to the castle. Students were running and screaming away from the castle. Arches and walls blew up, fires erupted, and chaos spread. I stopped, the Doctor stopping right next to me.

"RUN!" Professor Flitwick yelled, running as fast as his little legs would carry him. Just as he yelled, the wall blew up behind him, a piece of debris knocking him straight in the head. Professor Flitwick fell to the floor.

A group of Death Eaters walked toward me. Three of them led the group. And, although I couldn't see their faces, I knew exactly who it was. My Mum, My Dad, and My Older Sister.

"Run!"I turned to start running, but the Doctor grabbed me by the arm.

"No!Maybe we could stop them!"he said.

"LORI!"

Sheldon and Irene ran towards me with great speed. They threw their arms around me, trapping me in a tight embrace.

"WHERE THE BLOODY HELL HAVE YOU BEEN?! FOR FUCK'S SAKE, YOU HAD ME WORRIED GODDAMNIT!"Irene yelled, along with a lot of colorful words.

"NOW'S NOT THE TIME TO QUESTION ME!"I exclaimed.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!"

We all ducked as the green light flew over our heads.

"Okay, now we run,"the Doctor exclaimed. He grabbed my hand and started running towards the TARDIS.

Just as we got to the TARDIS, I stopped on my heels. I let go of the Doctor.

"Wait! I have to get something from my trunk! I have to go back!"I said.

The Doctor looked at me. "What? We can go back for it later!" He grabbed my wrist, but I pulled away.

"I have to get it! If I don't get it, I'll die!" I exclaimed.

"We can't go!" he argued.

"Then I'll go alone!"I protested.

"You can't go alone, you'll get killed!" he argued. "Please!"

"I'm going whether you come with me or not!"I exclaimed.

He looked at me then at the TARDIS.

"Give me just a minute!"

He unlocked the TARDIS door and ran inside, Irene and Sheldon following him. A minute later, the Doctor came out with what looked to be two wristbands. He tossed me one, instructing me to put it on. I put it on and we started running towards the castle. Just as we got there, we were met by a bunch of fighting Death Eaters. I whipped my wand out and shot spells like "STUPEFY!" and " EXPELLIARMUS!" at the Death Eaters.

I dodged a few green lights. I kept shooting spells at the Death Eaters. I glanced at the Doctor. He was using a piece of debris as a shield.

A burning force shot my chest, and I was knocked off the ground. Just as my vision was becoming dark, the Doctor's face appeared and he touched my face. That was the last thing I saw before my world became nothing but darkness.
