The Doctor's P.O.V.

Lori wasn't joking when she said that what she needed to get depended on her life.

It was a ring. When Lori was 16, she made an Unbreakable Vow to her sister to keep it safe no matter what. If the Death Eaters got their hands on it, Lori would die.

I removed my hands from her face. I had to get that ring, but to do so, I had to leave her with the Death Eaters.

2nd P.O.V.

The Doctor walked the halls to the castle. Whenever a Death Eater stopped him and asked him who he was, he pulled out his psychic paper, claiming he was Voldemort in disguise. The Death Eater would then apologize and then get on their knees, bending over and chanting "All hail Voldemort" over and over until the Doctor left.

He finally made it to the Gryffindor Common Room. To his surprise, the Fat Lady was still in her portrait. She was, perhaps, the only portrait who didn't leave.

"Shouldn't you be hiding along with everyone else?" the Doctor asked.

"And leave my home unprotected? No way! If the Death Eaters will try and bring my home down, then they'll bring me down with it," she replied.

The Doctor smiled. The Fat Lady now was brave, unlike the one in Harry Potter's 3rd year. It was too bad that they replaced the original The Fat Lady with another The Fat Lady.

"Tempus Spatium," the Doctor said.

The Fat Lady opened her portrait long enough for the Doctor to climb into the Common Room. For some odd reason, everything was in shape. The fire in the pit was still blazing, the throw pillows were still in place, even the floor was spotless.

The Doctor walked up into Lori's dorm and opened her trunk. It was neat and organized, but it was overflowed with stuff. He took out each item, carefully examining it before he softly tossed it onto Lori's bed. He finally came across the ring.

It was silver. On the ring, a phoenix spread its wings, fire burning behind it. Under the crest, it said "Burn like a Phoenix" on it. The Doctor looked closely at the ring. As the fire spread, the ring changed to a beautiful sunset sky. The words changed to " Or set like a sun".

Hmph the Doctor thought. Is this it?

The Doctor turned around, and he was greeted into the arms of Death himself.

Lori had never felt so humiliated. She was walking towards her group of friends and ex-boyfriend. But when she got there, her friends just pointed and laughed at her.

"You stupid girl!" Sheldon cried.

"Did you ever think we could love a girl like you?" Michael laughed.

"Or even tolerate you?" Irene sneered.

"Go die in a hole, you slut!" Jordan scowled.

Warm liquid dripping from her face told Lori she was crying. What did she do?

She opened her mouth, but the words wouldn't come out.

The students just pointed and laughed at her even more.

Pop!

Everything disappeared, and then reappeared, but the scene was different. She was standing next to the Doctor, holding his hand. Lori relaxed, it was most definitely better than what she just saw.

The Doctor faced her and leaned in, his hot breath tickling her ear.

"Wake up," he whispered.

"Wake up".

"Wake up."

"Wake up!"

Lori bolted up, only to find herself restrained by ropes. "What the-"

"Hello, sweetheart."

Lori trembled as she looked up. She was restrained in the shadow of her mother.

Run. Go faster.

Dead leaves crunched under her feet as black combat boots pressed into them. Red hair flew behind the girl as she ran towards the Magical Wizardry School. Sweat made the girl's pale face sticky, her bangs were the unfortunate victims stuck in sweat. Her body ached, but her mind was full of energy. If she stopped running, she would've been too late.

Sheldon and Irene were pacing around the TARDIS, thinking about a way to help their friend. Mind you, Sheldon was completely brilliant, however, Irene had the brain of a two year old. So really, Sheldon was trying to come up with a plan while Irene thought of squirrels and bananas.

"Maybe if we get a bunch of bananas, we can make a life size Lori and trade Banana Lori for the real Lori!" Irene exclaimed.

Sheldon sighed. "They're not that stupid. They'll tell the difference."

Irene sighed. "I know you like Jordan. Maybe you should ask her out, there's a good chance that she'll say 'yes'," Irene said out of no where.

"You think?" Sheldon asked, facing her.

Irene nodded. Sheldon sighed.

"Now isn't the time to think about that."

Lori found herself tied up against a wooden pole. The room was so dark that she couldn't see even the form of the shirt she was wearing. Her feet dangled in the air, which meant that she was towards the top of the stake. She tried to wiggle out of the rope, but every time she moved, the rope would get tighter and tighter until Lori could hardly even breathe.

"Don't 'Hello Sweetheart' me, we both know why we're here, so you might as well get it over with," Lori spat.

Her mother chuckled. "Tch. Sounds like someone is a bit excited for her upcoming death. But, I can't kill you just yet. We must wait for the Dark Lord to arrive. He shall carry out the deed."

Her mother turned her back to her. Lori's eyes darted across the room. She had to find a way out. If only the rope wasn't so damn tight and it wasn't so dark.

An idea popped into her head.

"Why?" she gently asked, tilting her head to the side.

Her head snapped in the direction of her. Even though it was pitch black, she could see the glare in her eyes.

"What do you mean,why?"

"Why does Voldemort have to kill me?"

The light in the room went from dark to dim. Lori could now see her mum.

"You could do it yourself. It'll save you all the anxiety of my death. You could just end it all now," Lori suggested.

Her mum shook her head. "No, but I could do this."

With a flick of her wrist, Lori was writhing in extreme pain. At first, she was whimpering, then her whimpers turned into screams of agony as the pain kept on increasing. Now, imagine knives stabbing you're body over and over while fire ran through your veins, you choked on your own blood, bullets kept flying through your head, billions of tons of the heaviest object in existence crushed your body and your body parts were amputated. Now increase that pain by x100, and you'll get what Lori was experiencing.

The metal door of the room slammed open as two Death Eaters carried the unconscious body of the Doctor.

"NOOOO!" she screamed at the sight of her cr-friend. Blood dripped from his mouth, his skin was a pale color. His eyes were closed shut, his right eye swollen and purple, his hair a mess in a not-so-sexy way.

"DOCTOR!" The pain didn't matter anymore, the sight of the Doctor's condition was a billion times worse.

Lori struggled against her restraints. She didn't care whether she'll die because of the stupid ropes that were suffocating her, she wanted the Doctor to be safe.

"Ahh, I see this one means something to you," her mum taunted.

Lori sneered at her as she keep struggling towards him, growling in frustration.

Michael popped his head into the room.

"Madame, the Dark Lord requests your presence."

"At once," her mum said, leaving the room. Now it was just Lori, two death eaters, and the Doctor.

She looked at the Doctor. His right eye opened and winked at her, sending a shock relief and confusion through her body.

The Doctor than sprang up and took out both of the Death Eaters using a mop. Pretty impressive.

He used the broom handle as a bat and smacked one of the two on his head, the Death eater falling unconscious. He hit the other Death Eater in the guts. While the Death eater clutched his stomach, the Doctor straight out sucker punched him. As soon as he took both of them out, he rushed over to Lori.

"Are you alright?" He asked, untying the very small rope. As soon as its tight grip loosened, Lori started to cough as she filled her aching lungs with air. "Yeah, thanks," she said. The Doctor smiled and pulled her into a hug.

"We have to stop them. They'll do anything to find me once more,"said a frowning Lori.

"I can help with that."

The two turned to the doorway, and what they saw made Lori almost faint.

It was the real Lori Winters.
