The older feline was a tall man with light brown skin, standing at 6'7". He wore baggy jeans and steel gauntlets, a large leather coat hung from his shoulders and were held by a iron chain, a headband helped to keep his wild black hair off his face and he had a long beard and, keeping his trusty tantō Otokodama strapped on his belt. Right now he was staring the lion cub with his calculating ochre eyes. "My son..." Shishihige braced for the impact. The buff man scooped his son on a bear hug, crying manly tears. "Why didn't you tell me that you got a girlfriend?!" The boy got a blank face. "... Uh?" The man let go of him, patting his shoulder. "I heard from your sisters and I can sense that you got very close to a girl!" He tried to figure what made his father act this way. '... Wait... Does he mean Hanabi-san?' It suddenly clicked on his mind as he connected the dots. "ISN'T WHAT YOU'RE THINKING OLD MAN!" He hit the guy over his head for such assumption. "But my son, if you don't get a girlfriend then I won't have grandchildren to spoil until your sisters grow up..." Shishihige looked away from the sobbing guy. 'Well, it's true that I'll reach maturity in three years while they still have around ten years to do the same...'
"Time for a brief overview on the youkai culture folks~" The top deity in craziness had frozen time for an explanation. "The youngsters get to be considered adults at seventeen, males and females alike. Thanks for watching, my dear play-" A voice roared in the background. "WHERE ARE YOU KAMI?!" She had a sweaty poker face. "Whoops, I have to run guys, bye" The sun goddess came into the scene, looking like a raging bull. "She had the galls to steal the sake that Inari gave me as a gift!"
He simply turned around and began running, planning to clear the misunderstandings when his father calmed down. As soon his footsteps couldn't be heard anymore, a woman approached the older male. "You overdid the things again, dear." She pulled his ear. "Oww... I can't help it Kyouka-hime." She was a woman with a body built for combat, around B~C cup, and had golden brown hair with olive skin, being a little smaller than her husband. "Hah, that's the reason that he's so skittish around females." He turned to face his wife with a face like (^w^). "Still, I want to find this girl and know her opinion on our son." She lost her will to reason with him, as he was too much of a blockhead to hear. "Do whatever you want Bantyo, but don't come crying to me if he ends up snapping." But he was already long gone. *sigh* She blew away some strands of hair. "When will he learn?"
Hitomi was simply walking around the shopping district, amazed by the casual presence of dragons in all sizes carrying loads for their caretakers and how some youkai just showed all their demonic features, some even walked around as full animals. Then she bumped on someone. "You weren't looking where you went again." The one who she bumped was Hyō. "It seems that Kami loves to set us up, uh?" She said with a playful smile. "So, what do you want to see first?" She looked down to her clothing. "Is there a place to sell clothes? These Hyuuga robes are so stuffy." He thought for one instant. "Well, there are almost no shops for clothes, as everybody prefers the service of the Kaiko siblings." She got interested at the mention of them. "Who are them?" He began walking, making her follow him. "They're a couple of twins, and their works are top notch." As they chatted, a group of VERY jealous women stalked them.
Kurama and the dragon were severely beaten up, bleeding from several wounds and utterly exhausted. *pant, pant* Kurama patted the muzzle of the creature. "Hey gecko." His hand was almost bitten off. *Growl!* Thankfully he had good reflexes. "Calm down, I just want to ask one thing." The dragon got down to his eye level. *Krrr?* He grinned. "Do you want to work with me? I like how you could stand up against me." It earned him an eager nuzzle on the chest. *Rrr* Both them created a brand new bond. "It's settled then, and I'll call you Yūshi. What do you think?" Yūshi growled his approval. *Rawr~* Then both fainted at the same time from blood loss. Hinata and Yozora arrived at the scene one second later, both having a blank expression. "What happened here?"
Hanabi was walking along one of the several bridges near the dragonarium, not sensing the four girls that were following her. "Daddy told us to follow her, and I think that she's with nii-san." "He said that he would come to us soon." "But where is he?" "Look, she's getting away!" The man in question was watching his daughters with binoculars from a distance. 'Fufu, my dear daughters, I'm proud of you. Still, she's pretty cute, I wouldn't complain if he took her as his wife.' He trotted over the wires that ran from tree to tree, that served as walkways for the ones skilled enough or small dragons. Bantyo could be taken as a brutal man, but unless you were an enemy, he was pretty much inoffensive like a puppy. 'But where did I see those eyes before?' He tried to recall where he saw the pupil-less eyes present on the girl. The ones that noticed him ignored his presence, as they were used to his habit of checking out every female that got close to his son. 'He's going to scare her away again' and 'I hope that this girl doesn't end insane as well' was the collective thought of anyone that saw him.
Hyō and Hitomi were stopped by a bunch of angry women, that were glaring poisonous daggers at the couple. "Haah, just great, a group of my fangirls." It earned a snort from Hitomi, that already saw a similar scenery that involved a blond and a redhead. She put up a smirk and began the taunts. "Sooo... What do you want?" One of the women barked at her. "Get away from him! You aren't worthy of Hyō-sama! You're just a human!" A nerve inside Hitomi snapped in sync with her weapon. *snap* She brought out her whip, keeping up a strained smile. "Could you repeat what you just said ladies? I couldn't hear it." Her eyes promised bloody murder, which made almost every youkai search for a safe location as you could clearly see the Shinigami's face behind her, but the fangirls were blinded by their rage.
Both Hinata and her dragon were carrying the two males to a hospital previously shown by Sukina, the human held Kurama with his arm around her neck while Yozora was dragging the red dragon with her maw firmly settled on it's tail. To cut the silence and put her mind off the weird looks, Hinata began talking with her companion. "So he's your mate?" The dragoness nodded. She shifted her weight. "It's a bit of a coincidence that you two turned to be our match, don't you think so Yozora?" Yozora emitted a growl that sounded like a laugh. "Maybe Kami does have her hand on this world after all." In the meanwhile both guys silently enjoyed the ride, one more than the other. 'I won this time gecko!'
Hey guys, it has been a time since my last update, but I got sidetracked by some new anime and manga, like Inubaka and Shinobi Life, so I'm sorry, not to mention that I'm brewing a new Ao no Exorcist story. And I could just squeeze this much from my mind, so little! Damn...
Reply corner:
Iliana= ... I don't know what to say after that... But it's really humiliating to be worse than Naruto in studies. Oh well! Don't lose your hope 'kay?
Elizabeth= Oh, so you didn't notice the meaning of the name? I mentioned it here: 'making her resemble a night sky' Maybe I was a bit too subtle then. About the race, I have a feeling that there'll be some bets going around. Could you give me a suggestion on what Hitomi could do to the fangirls? Maybe I should have put sabertooth fangs on Yozora when I had the chance, they would deal greater pain =^.^=
xXYour DoomXx= I'll consider these options- My, my, you have such a dirty mind my boy... -Get outta here Lilith! And take your damn tail from my butt too!
Sneak peek, maybe:
Both the lion and the woman had an eerie glint on their eyes while they watched over their unsuspecting targets. "Ufufufu~ My boy is turning in such a smooth talker." Hitomi was gnawing the sleeve of her shirt. "You grew so fast Hanabi, mommy is so proud of you..." The couple of teens felt a chill down their spines, but every time they looked back, there was nothing out of place. 'What the hell is going on?!'
