Fossil Rangers: VivoFighters x Code Lyoko: X-Omega Unwound
Part 2: Darkness Ascending
A/N Okay, the second part of this may not be exactly good, but I hope you enjoy at least a few parts of it and also this will be really confusing a little bit as it jumps around a lot and some of the plot is confusing but I will explain it later on… I hope.
EDIT: I've had to delete some chapters from this portion of the story, but they are still around, but you'll have to go to the other story that this is crossed over with to find and read them for ANYTHING to make some sense.
EDIT AGAIN: I've decided to re-add the chapters just because it'll be less confusing when it's time to read the next one and you have to go to a different story to find out what happens next.

Previously
Eon was not having a good past hour. First, he was forced into fighting, and now he was hit by some beam and teleported into this strange warehouse like building.
The force caused him to demorph.
Eon got up and walked around before he finally found stairs to get out.
Clutching his arm, Eon managed to walk out only to encounter a small group of people who appeared ready to fight if necessary.
"Who are you, and why were you in there?" a sandy blond asked quite forcefully.
"I don't suppose this can be solved over some food can it?"
"What kind of food?" a boy in purple said.
"Odd, shut up!" a boy in mainly green said.
"Guess not" Eon said as he got into the least painful ready stance he could.
"What did you do?!" Rosie shouted.
"What makes you think I did it?" Geo retorted.
Rosie simply growled.
Light blue energy started surging around her and it gathered into her belt buckle.
She took out a new medal and put it in her Pickaxe.
"Rosie, wait!" Duna shouted.
"Initiate Weapon: PlesioDagger!" Her Pickaxe changed into two daggers that looked like her Elaswhip except with a bladed edge and based off a Plesiosaurus.
"PlesioDagger: Boost Up!"
She changed into the standard Boost Armor, except light blue and with a Plesio based design.
"Well looks like you're not holding back, so why should I!" Geo shouted and he activated his belt.
Access, his belt activated and he inserted the device into the side. Insert
"Henshin!" he spun the disc. Energize
His suit formed.
"And one more time!" he drew out another key and placed it into his belt and used a new code.
Key #05, a female voice announced from the belt. M-Archer, Engaged!, a male voice finished.
The suit changed from green and having an X on the chest to being lightish blue and with an M on the chest instead. He then used another 'key' in the belt and a new code.
Key #06, the female voice started. Strike Arrow, Engaged!, the male finished.
The Bow materialized in his hand and he charged again. Rosie blocked his attack and began retaliating with some slashes of her own with her daggers.
Rosie growled and water leaked in fro the window and gathered around her blades.
Geo grabbed Key #06 and placed it into his belt before typing a code and closing it before spinning the disc.
Key Charge
He then moved it into a slot above the part attached to the handle and the arrow sticking out of the front and twisted it.
Strike Arrow, the female voice announced. Arrow Blitz, the male announced. Barrage Engaged! Both shouted.
Geo pulled the handle back and energy pooled in the arrow tip and several arrows appeared around him.
"Aqua Tsunami Slash!" Rosie shouted as she slashed and two waves of energy surged forward.
"M-Arrow Barrage!" Geo shouts as he releases the handle and the barrage of arrows shoot forward.
Now:
The two released their attacks, which impacted in between the two and the energy caused them to fly backwards.
Geo's suit deactivated and Rosie demorphed as the two hit the ground.
"GEO!" the Lyoko Warriors shouted as they ran to his aid.
"ROSIE!" The Rangers shouted before they ran to her aid.
The two groups arose, carrying their wounded before those who were not were in a standoff with their weapons.
"Why do we have to fight?" Geo questioned.
Rosie was about to respond before she realized, she had no reason, they could have reasonably talked it out and discussed why Zander had told them that, but she had been forward and up and attacked them.
She opened her mouth when something suddenly happened.
"WooOOOOOoooooOOOOOoooolly woooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOlly WWWWOOOOOOOooooooo!" something howled throughout the room.
In a puff of smoke, a figure appeared behind the desk.
"What in the world?" Geo said.
"ARR! Ye face the legendary pirate, Captain Woolbeard! I've crossed all seven seas and…and…I'm legendary!" he announced.
Wait a minute, something isn't right, Geo thought.
"Hold, ye life-lubbers! I've got orders for ye!"
"Orders?" Rosie questioned.
"Who are you to order us around? Some guy with a hat? We're not part of your crew or anything!" Max shouted.
"Find ye my bear ribbon! WooOOOOoooolly wooOOOOO!
"A beard ribbon? You're kidding, right?"
"That ribbon is the only thing I hold dear to my heart…and the most fashionable accessory on the planet."
"Starting to think he's not a real pirate" Geo whispered in May's ear.
"Without that ribbon, my spirit can never rest…and I'll risk the wrath of pirate-fashion critics everywhere."
"How did this scene actually make into the game? I thought the game was popular?" May questioned when Geo, May, Rosie, and Holt looked straight AT the camera before looking back at Woolbeard.
"Sad story, but do you think we've got time to go looking for your pretty ribbon?"
"If ye find it for me, I'll give ye the greatest treasure under the seas in return."
"Treasure? We can't exactly be bought with treasure" Rosie said.
"Well then how about some 'motivation'?"
"What do you mean by THHHHAAAAAAAAT?!" Rosie said before ropes wrapped around her and tied her arms to her body before she flew against the wall.
"Rosie!"
"No, no, not me TOOOOOOOO!" Geo shouted as he was suddenly dragged right next to Rosie the exact same way.
"Geo!"
Both groups attempted to get closer and try to free them, but they were suddenly stopped when they screamed out in pain.
"Sorry, but I you try to set them free too early, then they'll end up getting hurt"
"That's cruel!" May said.
"Well, how else was I supposed to get you to help me?"
"We don't have to help you, someone else could have!" Dyllon said.
"Well, now you have too since I have your friends, and since you refused earlier…" the ropes turned to chains and tightened before jolts of electricity ran through it.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Geo and Rosie screamed in pain.
"GEO!" "ROSIE!" Monica and Duna shouted.
"…you have a time limit!"
"Come on, that is seriously sadistic man!" Dyllon said.
"Well, who else would be able to help me, I saw your strength, so together, if you unite you'll be able to find it within the time limit"
"You're crazy if you think we'll-" Max started.
"Fine, we'll do it" Monica said.
"Wait, Monica, hold on" Jack said.
"We don't have a choice, let's just do what he said" Monica said, preparing to walk out.
"She's right, let's go" Holt said.
"But-" Dyllon said.
"Hey, butts are for sitting, let's just go already" Max said.
Duna groaned. "Fine" she opened her morpher and typed in a code and all of them (minus Geo and Rosie) teleported away.
"Well, we're doomed" Rosie said.
"We'll be fine" Geo said.
"You really believed that?"
"No I just needed something to believe myself"
X-Omega:
[Eon's P.O.V.]
I got into a ready stance as did three of the five I saw.
The one in green seemed ready to charge when he was stopped by a girl in pink.
"Hold on, look at him, he's obviously hurt"
"Thank you, I'm just glad I didn't have to fight like this" Eon said.
She walked over to him. "Where does it hurt?"
"Oh you know, everywhere" Eon said.
"How did you get hurt?" Odd asked.
"This might be hard to believe, but-" he showed his morpher "I am a Power Ranger"
This stunned the group into silence.
"Cool" Odd said.
"ODD!" the sandy haired boy and the boy in green snapped.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
Odd and the girl in pink, now identified as 'Aelita' helped carry him to a large room with a large computer.
"So, give as a reason why we shouldn't call the cops?" 'Jeremy' asked.
"Well, apparently, by the looks of this place, it appears to be older than all of you, so, by that, unless one of you inherited this place, then none of you belong on this property, so you can't risk calling the police or YOU will get in trouble, not me"
That caused Jeremy to blanch and gape.
"Who's the smart one now Einstein?" Odd joked before 'Yumi' elbowed him.
"So why are you here?" 'Ulrich' asked.
"That's what I don't know, one minute I'm fighting with my team, the next, I'm here with you people"
"Team, you mean the other Rangers?"
"Well yeah, but, not all of them" Eon looked uncomfortable for a minute so they just dropped the subject. Well, except one.
"What happened? Aelita asked.
"Oh, well a friend of mine recently went missing and we didn't know what happened to him until recently"
"What happened?"
"Aelita!"
"No, it's fine… what happened is that my friend somehow changed into one of the enemy… and I nearly killed him"
This caused them to stare in shock.
"Well, why didn't you?" Jeremy reluctantly asked "What stopped you?"
"Well, apparently, he's being used for some kind of plan by our enemies, and we can't find a way to change him back. That and we haven't found a way to find him yet"
"Which one of you is he?" Yumi asked.
"The red"
"Ohh, that sucks, the red is almost always the leader" Odd groaned.
"ODD!" everyone but Aelita, Odd, and Eon shouted.
"What?"
"Anyway" Eon ignored that "currently, we're stuck trying to find out how to fix it, and I'd hoped that we'd find a way to save him in our last mission, but somehow, I ended up here in the middle of fighting some guys in weird armor."
Aelita snapped up. "What kind of armor?"
"Well, one was wearing some kind of trench coat and fighting with a lance I guess"
That rang a bell.
"And the others?"
"Well, one was wearing this suit that looked as if she was covered in blood and there was a guy with what looked like a toolbox on his belt"
"That's where they went!" Odd shouted.
"But where is that though?" Ulrich said.
"If you guys are asking where I came from, then Vivosaur Island"
This surprised them.
"Well then how did you get here?"
"Dunno, one minute I'm fighting the guy in the trench coat the next I'm demorphed and on the ground in this place"
"Truly a strange predicament" Jeremy whispered.
"So what do we do now?" Aelita asked.
"Well, first off, I need to heal a little and charge up some of my energy" Eon said.
"What do you mean charge your energy?"
"I need to charge up my morpher before I can morph again"
"Why?"
"I don't really want to explain why"
"In that case, I think it's time we return to the other side of this story" Odd said looking AT the camera.
"We need to fix that wall sometime" Ulrich said.
"Do you guys mind NOT stealing the joke we have in the VivoFighters portion of this?" Eon casually, but somehow angrily said.
"Do you guys mind explaining what you're talking about?" Yumi asked.
"No" All three snapped.
V-Fighters:
Duna and the others suddenly teleported into the Fossil Core (If this name is not used to describe the base anywhere in the story, please tell me) which took the Lyoko Warriors by surprise.
"Where are we?" Monica asked.
"Welcome to the Fossil Core" Holt said before he sat down in a chair.
"Is that what this place is called?" Dyllon asked.
"Yeah, you guys never really told us what it was called earlier" Duna said.
"Well, that was because of the author"
"Could we please move on already?" Jack said.
"Alright fine" Duna said.
"So, what happened back, there, who was that?" May asked.
"First off, we were on our way to find something, and then we encountered you guys, got in a fight, and now our sixth member is missing, our friend is captured, along with yours, and we have to find some sort of ribbon" Holt said.
"Any way to shorten that?" Max asked.
"MAX!" Monica and Jack said.
"Anyway, so how do we find this thing?" May ignored that.
"Well, I personally think that we should ask for Rosie's grandfather's help" Duna said.
"Why?" Dyllon asked.
"Well, he does have control over most of the island, so he should be able to help us find the item" Holt said.
"Well then let's go" Monica said.
"We can't because if we go to him without Rosie, then he'll get suspicious about why we are coming to him without her" Dyllon said.
"Well, then unless one of you can change into this "Rosie" girl, then we're stuck here" Jack said.
"Actually, I have an idea" Duna said, picking up a chip and inserting it into her morpher.
"Electric Upgrade!" she activated it and her form momentarily phased a bit but she reverted to normal.
"What was that supposed to do?" May asked.
Duna concentrated before her appearance slightly shifted and then her entire body changed into Rosie.
This took the Lyoko Warriors by surprise.
"What the-" Monica said.
"Holy-" Jack said.
"Oh my" Was all May said.
"Cool" This should be obvious by now.
"Well, that's new" Holt said.
The chat was interrupted by alarms blaring.
"Okay, Holt, white-haired girl, her look-alike, you're with me, Dyllon, you take them and handle whatever's happening out there" Duna said as she led her team out of the area.
"Wait, why am I stuck with them?" Dyllon said.
"If it comes down to it, you're most likely to use your Boost Armor without hurting yourself" Duna said before her group teleported out of there.
"Ah crap" Dyllon said, looking at the two people staring at him.
[Dyllon's P.O.V.]
"OK, well time to go" I tell the two before I start to teleport the three of us to wherever we're going.
"Wait, what do you mean?" the girl questioned me.
"I mean we have to fight against whatever is out there" I replied and I was about to hit enter.
"Well, first off, I'm Jack, this is Monica" the guy said.
"Well, I'm Dyllon, and let's go" I said before I teleported all three of us into an alleyway nearby and the three of us ran to the screaming.
When we turned the corner, there was a red creature that had a target for a face and long arms along with a chest that looked as if it had "eyes"
"A Krabe?" the girl said.
"A what now?" I said "Actually, you know what, I'll ask later" I take out my chip and morpher.
"VivoFighters: Jara Power!" In an instant I was charging the red creature with my JarWings.
The Krabe ducked under a slash and kicked my stomach before punching me in the head and tossing me to the side.
I rolled to a stop and shot it in the face before I combined the two and created the shield before retrieved my Pickaxe in sword mode and started slashing. I didn't even get close and then I was shot by a laser from the "eyes".
I groan as I lay on the ground next to the two.
"Are you going to stand there and stare or are you going to participate?" I groan.
"Fine" Monica said before she and Jack took off their belt buckles and did some form with them before an M and a G appear in the air and lights from it cover them and change them into two new suits.
Monica drew an arrow and shot one at the target while Jack somehow gained a blade on the sides of his bow and charged forward before delivering some serious attacks onto it before firing another arrow and knocking it back.
"Impressive" I tell them before I attach my Jarwings to my Pickaxe in gun mode.
"AxeBlaster: Connect and Charge; Black!" I unleashed a black laser blast the burned off the armor before Jack unleashed one final arrow into the "Target" area and the thing imploded before exploding.
We ran into an alley and detransformed before walking out.
"Why was that hard for you to do?" Monica asked.
"Excuse me, I usually have a team to help me out, I can't fight it by myself" I retort.
"Even so, as you are now, you are too weak to fight against the things we usually see on a daily basis"
"What's that supposed to mean, I can fight against it"
"Yes, but you're too weak to last long and to defeat it, you need to show your true strength instead of hiding behind a façade"
I instantly blanched. How did she know about the mask I've been hiding under?
"Come on, we need to contact the others and find out what they're doing" Jack interrupted our fighting.
"Fine" we both begrudgingly agreed and I took out my morpher.
"Duna, how's your guys end?"
[Third Person P.O.V.]
(I'm just going to skip the conversation between Nick Nack and Mr. Richmond)
-A minute earlier-
The group was walking back from Nick Nack's apartment with weird looks on their faces.
"Well" Max spoke up "he was eccentric"
"And that's just to say the least" May replied.
Suddenly, Duna's phone started ringing and she picked it up.
"Hello? Oh hey Dyllon… yeah, we just got back from Nick Nack and we're looking for some things he asked us to get in exchange for the Beard Ribbon… okay… alright, we'll meet up there" she hung up and looked at her group.
"Okay, guys, we're going to meet up at the Cyberspace" Holt nodded while May and Max looked confused.
"What's the Cyberspace?" May asked.
"You guys know the TV show "Power Rangers"?" Duna questioned.
"Yeah" Max commented.
The other chose that moment to arrive.
"Well, the Cyberspace was the hangout from Dino Thunder, okay?" Duna said. The two nodded "okay, then let's go finish what we're doing
"Okay, we now what we need to get, so Holt and Max, you two go to get the fossil sandal in Greenhorn Plains, Monica and Jack, go with Dyllon again to the Digadig tribe in order to get the Molten Fossil bug shell. (I actually forgot what it's called so I guessed) And May, you're with me"
The Ranger half nodded while the Lyoko half looked confused.
"Just follow the person you're assigned with" Duna verified and the group in question nodded in understanding.
Then they all went their separate ways.
Little did they know, there was a black and pink creature nearby that was listening in on their conversation. Then it suddenly ran off.
-Holt and Max-
The two teens entered the green plains and walked forward.
"This is pretty bland" Max said.
"Hence the name: Greenhorn Plains" Holt explained.
"Oh, that makes sense"
"Hold on, we're almost there" the two walked forward and soon reached a large open clearing full of junk.
"Okay, start looking for any piece of rock resembling a sandal"
"Gotcha" Max said and the two began looking.
The two began sifting through the junk and when they were finished, they could not find the object they were looking for.
"We are getting nowhere with this" Max said.
"Maybe this wasn't the area we were supposed to go to" Holt said before a sudden laser shot out and barely missed them.
"Oh the nostalgia" Holt said as both of them looked to see Snivels holding a laser gun.
"What do you want Snivels" Holt got into a ready stance.
"To test out our new technology!" Snivels threw out a small disc that changed into several robots based off T-rex's and Brachiosaurus's.
"What the-"
"Does this happen often?"
"No this is new"
Max got out his belt buckle and Holt got his morpher out and inserted the chip into it.
"VivoFighters: Pachy Power!"
In a moment, the two were changed and beginning to fight,
Holt inserted a chip into his morpher after tossing Max his Pickaxe in sword mode.
"Earth Crushers!" the stone fists appeared on his hands and Max assembled a sword from his toolbox and started duel-wielding and all both of them charged the robots.
Max slashed at one before he drove his blade forward and pierced one's head before he slashed with his other blade and drove it across one stomach before he punched that one away and used both to slash at another's stomach before he took both blades and stabbed into the stomach of one.
Holt punched one in the face before he threw his fist forward and the fist shot off and crashed into one before returning to his hands.
"Now Max!" Holt said before he ran at Max and Max held his blades out and Holt jumped onto them and used it as a boost to jump into the air. He sent the fists into the air before he landed and Max drove the blades into the ground and the fists began falling back down.
"Smashing Earth Impact!" The fists hit the blades and waves of energy hit the robots.
"You're next Snivels!" Holt said.
"Unfortunately, it's not my turn, because these new drones aren't done just yet!"
The nearest robot to Holt rose up and got his arms restraining him when the same happened to Max.
"It adapted to fighting us?" Max asked.
"Where do you guys get this stuff?" Holt said.
"You'd be surprised what my boss makes in his spare time"
Holt struggled for a moment before a sudden gust of wind struck the robot holding him and melted it.
"Oh gosh!" was what Max said when it happened to him.
Holt spun around and saw a pink and green creature attacking the robots.
"Seth!"
"Who's Seth? You name your enemies?" Max asked.
"No, he's the red ranger"
"He's the red ranger? You guys need to better your standards"
A sudden gust of wind from Seth sent a rock tumbling off a part of the cliff and a sandal tumbled out.
Holt grabbed it. "I think this is what we're looking for!"
The two ran off, but Holt hesitated for a minute when he looked back at Seth and then he ran after Max.
Seth watched the two before the winds whipped around him and tore the robots to bits and Seth vanished into thin air.
-Monica, Dyllon, and Jack-
The three arrived by boat at the forest before they walked forward.
They came across the pile of rubble that had piled up more, leaving them unable to cross.
"All right, come on" Dyllon said, dragging Monica and Jack to a path outside the covered one.
"Where are we going?" Jack asked.
"You'll find out" Holt said before they came across a line of tree stumps and jumped over them.
"Is it far?"
"No"
"Will we get lost easy?"
"No"
"Are we going to be eaten by some man-eating cannibals?"
"Paranoiac much, no, the Digadig tribe doesn't eat human flesh"
"How do you know?"
"Because I've been there, and nothing bad happened except I got- never mind!"
"What are you talking about?"
"You don't want to- get down!" Dyllon tackled the two down to the ground as a laser shot overhead and impacted a tree, obliterating it.
All three teens got up and saw… Rex the dog holding a laser gun.
"…is that a dog?" Jack asked.
"I've had to ask myself that question many times" Dyllon said.
"WOOF" Rex through down a robotic disc that suddenly changed into several robots that apparently was designed of T-Rex's and a Brachiosaurus.
"Well, that's new" Dyllon said as he drew out his morpher and Monica and Jack took off their belt buckles.
Monica and Jack drew his symbol while Dyllon inserted his chip into his morpher.
"VivoFighters: Jara Power!" the medal flew out of his morpher and changed him while the symbol Monica and Jack drew appeared in the air and attached to their chests before it changed them.
Dyllon took out Pickaxe in sword mode and tossed it to Jack before he inserted a chip into his morpher.
"Flame Sphere!" the flame dome appeared around him before it wrapped around his arms and Jack took out his bow in blade mode and Monica did the same and all three of them charged the robots.
Jack slashed at one before he stabbed forward with his other blade and drove it into one stomach before he kicked that one away and used both to slash at another's stomach before he took and arrow and shot one in the face.
Dyllon punched one in the face before he threw his fist forward and the flames shot out and burned several before he punched again.
Monica took an arrow and shot it and it literally shot out and swerved around her before she spun around and struck several with the blade portion of her bow.
Dyllon ran towards Jack and jumped up before his feet connected to his weapons, and Jack sent him flying upwards.
Jack swung in a circle and fire whipped around him and formed projections of the blades as it went along and then Dyllon fell back down it Earth.
"Flaming Meteor Burst!" He used both fists to slam into the Earth and then a wave of fire flew out and hit the robots.
That did nothing as the robots simply got back up.
"Well, that didn't work" Jack simply said as the robots grouped around them.
Dyllon punched one, but it caught it and tried slamming his other fist and legs into others, but, pretty stupidly, they all caught them.
Jack tried to save him with both blades but one had caught them before holding his arms behind his back and holding one of his blades to his neck.
Monica tried to shoot an arrow before the robot caught it, broke it in half and took Jack's other blade (the pickaxe) and held it to her throat.
Just as it was about to strike, a pulse of wind blasted it away. Same as Dyllon and then he fell onto the ground on his back. And Jack got away as well.
He got up to see a black and pink creature attacking the roots and actually destroying them.
"Seth?!" Dyllon said.
"Who?" Monica asked.
"Seth, the Red Ranger!"
"That's the Red Ranger? What happened to him!" Jack asked.
"A little hard to explain" Dyllon said before he dragged the two away.
The creature looked at the trio before he finally unleashed a roar and a wave of scalding hot and freezing air shot out, froze some of the robots while melting the others. Then he used his arm to destroy the frozen ones before he used the winds to vanish into thin air.
-Duna and May-
Duna and May fell into the water and sunk to the bottom (yes they have helmets and wet suits)
"So we have to find some sharks denture teeth?"
"Yes"
"Do you have any idea how stupid that sounds?"
"Yes I know it's stupid"
"Okay, we'll look around for a hole in the ground; it should be under a rock" Duna said.
"Alright" May answered and the two began looking.
The two swam for an hour and found nothing.
Duna was beginning to get frustrated.
"Uh, we're getting nowhere!"
"We've found several holes already; we're on the right track"
"No, we're not, we haven't found it yet, and we're running out of time"
"We'll find it in time!" May pleaded.
"No, we won't!" Duna's hands started glowing with electricity, which began traveling through the water.
May backed up from the shock and crashed into the wall, her hand glowing with a blue color and the blue light spread from her hand into the wall, which spread to the ground like a shockwave and obliterated several rocks, including the one next to Duna, which was revealed to be covering a hole in the ground.
"Huh, that was easy" Duna commented before May smacked her upside the head.
The two entered the hole and explored around.
"There's nothing here too" May said.
The two moved on and looked around before they saw a pink shark… wait, a pink shark?
"Is that a natural color?"
"Don't be stupid, of course it is, I just wish it wasn't"
May headed forward and the shark snapped in their direction and swam away.
Duna took this chance to swim towards where it was and found a large pair of badly damaged dentures.
"Can you do anything to clean it up?" May asked.
"I think Holt can do it, but I can't do anything with it as it is" Duna replied before the two left.
-Back with Geo & Rosie-
[Geo's P.O.V.]
I struggled with the ropes as I attempted to loosen them enough to reach my belt.
"What are you doing?" The girl next to me asked.
"If I can just reach my belt, then I theorize I can use it to emit a wave of energy to get rid of these ropes" I reply as if it was obvious.
"Is it going to work?" she asked hopefully.
"I don't know, hence why I said "I theorize"" I return to struggling.
The girl continues to stare at the ground.
"Is something the matter Rosie?" I ask.
"How do you know my name?" she asks, looking up once more.
"Your friends shouted it enough times in order to break my ear drum" I stop struggling for a moment to look back at her.
"By the way, what happened to that guy I was fighting" I ask
"Which one, the Ranger or the other guy?"
"The other guy"
"Oh, Zander, I have no idea, he just vanished after trying to tell us you were dangerous"
"Figures, the guy tries to kill me enough times and suddenly I'M the dangerous one" I snort.
"How did you just appear like that?" Rosie questions, changing the subject.
"Hm?"
"How did you just appear in the room like that?"
"Oh, that" I think for a moment "I don't really know, but I theorize that while in Lyoko, we encountered a hole in the fabric of the code that somehow, inexplicably brought us back into the real world"
"The real world?" Rosie asked.
"You see, I joined a group of people who protect the world from a computer Virus in an online virtual world"
"Are you serious?"
"Yes, but anyway, due to that we encountered several monsters and during the adventure, an event happened, which caused a chain of events, leading to today"
"What event?"
Well, I could have dropped the subject, or I could have told her that I'm actually from a different dimension… so I thought: eh, what have I got to lose.
"Okay, truth is I'm not from here"
"You don't say" Rosie jokes.
"I mean, the truth is, several months ago, or, more likely, several months in the future there will be an event we've nicknamed: The Apocalypse. And due to that, several of my friends and I hid out in an abandoned house while my sister was kidnapped. When she returned, we ended up being chased from our hiding place and to where we went in order to combat the virus. During the fighting, I re-encountered Zander, whose nose I had previously broken, who attacked me." I took a breath before continuing.
"Then, he tackled me into the water and I, in a stupid attempt to finally get my friends rid of him, began to electrocute the water in a moment in which Monica dove in after me and tried to save me. Unfortunately, in my attempt to do the attack, my powers activated at the last minute, and prevented me from doing so by opening a kind of wormhole, sending us to this dimension, except at the beginning of the school year" I looked at Rosie and saw her give me a look of disbelief.
"You don't have to believe it if you don't want to"
"I do believe you, it's just a lot to take in" she admitted.
"Well, what's your story?" I asked her.
"Actually, I don't know if I should say, I mean, not even Seth knows"
"Should I pretend to know who Seth is?" I joke.
"Dunno, did I pretend to know who Monica is?" she counters.
"Alright, touché"
We both laughed. "Anyways, you don't have to say if you don't want to"
"Okay fine" she groaned. I blinked, unaware of what just happened.
"I'm the granddaughter of Mr. Richmond, the founder of Vivosaur Island, so due to that, I've got a lot of people who try to befriend me in order to get to my money. That and my parents seem to favor their jobs and stuff over me. So, I've always been a bit of a loner. Then I came here and met Seth and Holt." She spoke.
"Holt was absolutely unbearable at first, and Seth was just the friend who I met by accident. Neither of them knows I'm rich, because I was afraid they'd use me for my money, like the rest of my previous "friends". And as we went along as Rangers, things happened and the next thing I know, I'm fighting you, and now I'm here" she admitted.
"So, you were lonely as a kid?" I asked.
"Very"
"Same as me, except I was short and a genius, so you can see how that turned out. Then when I hit my growth spurt, people suddenly started flocking to me, and I didn't like being used, so I continued being lonely, then I came to Kadic Academy and met the best friends I could have ever asked for."
"They mean a lot to you?" she asked.
"Yeah, first friends I had in years who didn't hang around me because of my looks"
"Well, what do you're friends mean to you?"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I mean, what would you do for them?" Rosie simply said.
"Well, I'd do anything to protect them" was all I told her.
"Ok, well, is there anyone you care about the most?"
"Why are you asking me this?" I question.
"Well, if we die, then at least we won't die knowing nothing about each other" Rosie tried.
"That makes no sense" I retort.
"OK, I don't want to die having a grudge against you, and knowing I was sort of the cause for you to be in here, so I'd rather get to know you, so I'd know that you weren't the person I originally thought you were" she told me.
I look directly at her.
"Fine, to answer your question, if I had to choose who I care about the most, I'd say May or Monica"
"May? Who's that?" Rosie asked.
"The white-haired girl"
"Oh, I get it"
We then kept silent for a few minutes.
"By the way my sister is actually my half sister, Monica, and she has powers…"
-with May and Duna-
[May's P.O.V.]
Duna and I walk towards the hotel where Nick Nack lived. We were both still wet and I'm pretty sure Duna got a cold somehow.
"Do you think the other guys have their items?" I attempt to break the tension.
"I don't know, maybe" she sniffles.
"You OK?" I try?
"Oh, just peachy" was all she said.
We finally reach the hotel and wait outside for the others to get there.
Then I try to get some talking in.
"So, what's it like being a Power Ranger?" I ask.
"Nothing really special, you just go around in spandex and fight your enemies" she simply said.
"Well, what do you fight for?" I question.
Duna froze up.
"What?"
"I asked: what do you fight for? To protect people, to help others, to get away from your past?"
"None of those reasons?" Duna replied.
"Well then, why do you fight?"
"Someone like you wouldn't understand"
Before I can question again, I hear running and turn to see the others coming towards us.
"Alright, so we have all the items we need right?" I ask.
"Well, I would hope so" Monica retorts.
We check over the items we have to make sure we have them all and we head inside.
Then the explosions start.
Standing at the stairs was a woman with green hair and a purple outfit.
"Vivian!" Duna shouted.
"Well, isn't this a surprise, you escaped from the room you were locked in" the woman said.
"Wait, what room?" Holt asked.
"Never mind" the woman responded.
"What do you want?" Dyllon said, exasperated.
"Oh, nothing much, just to say hi to you guys, and take the items you have so I can get the beard ribbon"
"Is that what you guys have been after this entire time?" Duna asked.
"What on earth would they want with a beard ribbon?" Monica asked raising her arms causing a little water to stop some of the fire.
"That seems like a pretty stupid reason to cause an explosion JUST to get our attention" Jack said.
"We have our reasons" Vivian snapped.
"Well whatever they are, we don't want to hear them" Max retorts.
"Um, miss" the hotel manager just intruded in "I'm going to have to ask you to leave"
"Shut it" Vivian snapped and the hotel manager ran off scared. Well, I can't really blame him; she did basically almost kill us all with that explosion.
She brought out a disc of sorts and tossed it onto the ground and it morphed into several robots.
"Oh not these again" Holt complained.
"Hey, Mr. Manager, do you mind keeping this a secret please?" Duna said for some reason.
"O-Okay" he shivered behind his desk.
The four Rangers brought out their morphers and Monica, Jack, Max, and I took off our belt buckles.
"VivoFighters: Ranger Power!"
In a few moments, we were all transformed and fighting the robots.
For some reason, I was still fighting alongside Duna.
I had my staff while she had… a large gun that she had to hold with two hands… yeah I think I should stop questioning where they get their equipment.
The robot I was facing went down easily, as did the other ten… before they got back up, anticipated my attacks and halted them.
"Well, this was a fail" Max comments as all of us are suddenly thrown out of the hotel by the robots.
"You guys really need to work on your work as robots, I mean, you were supposed to destroy us remember?" he joked again.
"Hey Max?" Monica groans.
"Yes?"
"Guess what?"
"What?"
"Shut up"
Max shut his mouth and the robots and Vivian exited the hotel after us.
"So, ready to hand over the items yet?"
"Hey, how about we die, and then we'll think about it" Max said.
"OK, you asked for it" she snapped her fingers and the robots went after them.
"MAX!" "YOU IDIOT!" "WHY CAN'T YOU SHUT UP!" were our immediate responses.
Max looked sheepish as Dyllon immediately grabbed him and put him in front of us.
"Take a sacrifice!" Dyllon pleaded.
"Even if they did, we'd still die, and even so, if we got home alive we'd be questioned for his disappearance" I responded for Max.
"Fair point" Duna replied.
"Even so" Dyllon shoved Max forward again.
He landed in front of a robot, and before it could even strike it was blasted away by a ball of air.
Everyone turned and saw a monster you would usually see in a cartoon running towards us.
I got ready for battle, while no one else did, and it just ran past me and started attacking the robots.
Then I just blinked, clearly not expecting this.
"What's going on?" I ask Duna.
"That's Seth"
"I'm sorry, who?" were my choice words.
"The Red Ranger"
I take a moment to let that sink in.
And I open my mouth to reply.
"I don't even want to know what you guys have to deal with anymore"
The monster, who I've decided to just call "Seth", is actually doing really well in defeating the robots.
All of a sudden my hand starts glowing. I stare at it and see two parallel lines, one near my fingers and the other near my wrist.
Seth finishes fighting against the robots and sees me. For some reason he charges me.
I freeze out of fear and, and stick my hand out as if that would stop him. The second my hand touches his skin, my head is bombarded with images and I knew no more.
X-Omega:
[Eon's P.O.V.]
I had just finished talking to the "Lyoko Warriors" and decided to see what they did to protect the world.
"So, what exactly do you do to get into Lyoko?" I question Odd.
"Just step in the pod and find out" was his response.
I stepped in, as did Odd and Aelita into the remaining two and in a few seconds a bright light covered me and… that was it, it covered me and I fell into this 3D world…
…what were you expecting an explosion from a transformers movie or something?
I was in my Ranger suit, except there was no helmet, my Boomerang blades were in gun mode and instead of having feathers in-between my arms and body, they were wings on my back.
"Well, this is new" I comment "so what do you guys usually do in here?"
"Well, usually we fight against the rogue virus, but otherwise, nothing much" Odd said.
"That's it? You don't do anything else?"
"What do you mean?" Aelita asked.
"You guys have an entire virtual world to yourselves and all you do is fight evil inside of it. While it's a valid thing to do, you can't do anything else?" I ask them.
"Well, what can we do in here?" Odd asked.
"Train, play around with your powers, etc." was my immediate reply.
"We don't really have time to do that, I mean, we do have school and all that?" Odd replied.
"Well what about after school and when you're done with all of that stuff, isn't it free roam?" I ask.
"We have curfew"
"Yes but is that not until much later."
"I think he might be right Aelita, I mean, we have so much time that we should be figuring out what to do with in Lyoko, but we don't"
"Well I'm pretty sure Jeremy would be mad" Aelita commented
"Forget Jeremy, you guys are kids, you should be taking risks all of the time!" I pretty much am desperate by now.
But before they respond, Jeremy's voice comes out.
"I hate to break your session but a tower just activated"
The two froze but nodded and began running in a random direction.
"Um, guys?" I follow the two, wondering where they're going.
Soon enough, we get to a large object with portions of it floating away from it and the inside showing off a red color.
"Is that normal?" I question.
"That's the virus" Odd said and Aelita went inside the object and in a few moments, the portions went back in and Aelita came back.
"That's it?" I ask.
"What do you mean?" Aelita says.
"Nothing really happened, so the virus just left because you deactivated a tower?"
"Um guys, hate to break it to you but something big is coming your way?" Jeremy announces to us.
"Wait what?"
Out of nowhere a huge creature and a huge wolf comes out of the nearby water and starts to swipe at us.
"A Kolossus and a Wolfe?" Odd questions.
"Wait, why are you calling it a Wolfe, this is something we've never seen before?!"
"Just call it a hunch" Odd replied.
Then all of a sudden a large vortex opened up behind us.
"M'Kay I'm lost" was what I said before we were sucked in.
-Back at Vivosaur Island-
[Third Person P.O.V.]
May awoke alone in the Fossil Core and struggled to get up.
When she did, she walked out and saw the group, minus Holt and Monica was sitting in the main room, staring at a computer screen.
"Guys?" she called out.
"Oh, May, you're awake" Jack saw her distress "what's the matter"
May sat down. "I saw something when Seth hit me"
"What? Pain?" Max joked.
May looked directly at Max.
"Max, stop joking around, you're not Drew (1), so stop pretending you are" May said.
"May, just tell us, what did you see?" Duna said.
May took a deep breath before she looked at them.
"I saw us, transforming into something like Seth. In that same room, there was a machine that was shooting a wave of energy, and that's what transformed us. What really got me was how the wave spread over the entire world, and hit everyone"
"What does that mean?" Max asked, being serious for once.
"What was the machine?" Dyllon asked.
"I don't know, there was a computer screen from my vantage point and…
Vision: Both teams, including Rosie and Geo are in a large cavern with some kind of machine shooting a wave of multiple colors, which hits all of them and they begin convulsing.
The machine is shaped like a Dinosaur with a pointed edge sticking out of the "mouth". There was a computer screen in the back with several programs opened up, none of them differing from one another.
Xenus and Entros stood nearby, monitoring the machine along with Xander and a monitor with Xana's symbol on it.
Seth was running at the machine but was struck down by a blast from Entros.
May started convulsing before she starts changing into a creature and screaming and the last shot is of her eye, which has turned periwinkle.
"And that's basically what happened" May told them.
"I… don't get it" Max said.
"What does that vision mean?" Dyllon asked.
"You say there was something you saw on the computer screen?" Duna asked, deep in thought.
May nodded.
Duna walked over to a computer and opened up a program and set it to certain proportions.
"Did it resemble this?" she asked, showing May the computer.
May nodded. "How did you know?"
"Thing is, I didn't but when you said Seth, I remembered how we got a lot of data from it, and when I configured it to the data we got when Seth changed into a Destructor" Duna said.
"But what does it mean?" Max asked.
"I don't know, this is too advanced for me to figure out"
"Where are Monica and Holt?" May asked.
"Well, when you were unconscious, I traded the items for the Beard Ribbon, so they took the items and went to go free Geo and Rosie" Jack spoke up.
"I think I have an idea" May said.
"What?" Duna asked.
"When Geo gets here, we should get him to take a look at the data.
"Alright, if we have to" Dyllon said.

May: Geo and Rosie are finally free, but there's one last thing they have to do.
Max: We discover the truth about what the Destructors and Xana are planning.
Dyllon: A part of the truth of Evolutionary Energy is discovered.
Eon: And finally I get something I've needed for a while
