Fossil Rangers: VivoFighters x Code Lyoko: X-Omega Unwound
Part 3: Light Into Darkness
EDIT: I've had to delete some chapters from this portion of the story, but they are still around, but you'll have to go to the other story that this is crossed over with to find and read them for ANYTHING to make some sense.
EDIT AGAIN: I've decided to re-add the chapters just because it'll be less confusing when it's time to read the next one and you have to go to a different story to find out what happens next.
Previously
Seth finishes fighting against the robots and sees me. For some reason he charges me.
I freeze out of fear and, and stick my hand out as if that would stop him. The second my hand touches his skin, my head is bombarded with images and I knew no more.
"A Kolossus and a Wolfe?" Odd questions.
"Wait, why are you calling it a Wolfe, this is something we've never seen before?!"
"Just call it a hunch" Odd replied.
Then all of a sudden a large vortex opened up behind us.
"M'Kay I'm lost" was what I said before we were sucked in.
Xenus and Entros stood nearby, monitoring the machine along with Zander and a monitor with Xana's symbol on it.
Seth was running at the machine but was struck down by a blast from Entros.
May started convulsing before she starts changing into a creature and screaming and the last shot is of her eye, which has turned periwinkle.
And now:
[Third Person P.O.V.]
Monica and Holt ran through the paths of the ship, trying to get to the room housing Geo and Rosie.
The two finally made it to the room and ran in, only to find the three BB Bandits conversing with Woolbeard. Geo and Rosie noticed them, but kept quiet.
"Hey!" Holt shouted before Monica covered his mouth.
"SH! Let's see where this goes" Monica whispered.
Vivian was currently putting the ribbon on Woolbeard before she moved back.
"Ah, that looks perfect on you, Captain Woolbeard. Very dapper!" she said.
"Who says dapper?" Holt asked.
The ghost spun in a circle, euphoric.
"I'm free! After all these long years, I can finally rest with my weary bones…" he suddenly grew quiet.
"G-g-gr-grrr…"
"What?" Geo questioned.
"This isn't it! This be not my ribbon ye scurvy scalawag!" Woolbeard shouted "MY ribbon be much manlier, with just a hint o' the fun lovin'!"
All of a sudden, the fake ribbon disintegrated and his beard turned wavy, unruly, and… pink?
"Wait what?" Holt sat in disbelief.
"WooooOOOOOOoooolly woooOOooo! I've been deceived! Ye shall pay, ye turncoats! My ghost dinosaurs of the depths will teach ye not to play false with me!"
"Quick! Get out!" Vivian shouted.
"Don't have to tell me twice!" Snivels called out and the three managed to run out the door before it shut, preventing everyone else from getting out.
Lightning actually began to come down from the roof.
"I don't even want to know how that's possible" Monica spoke up.
"Ghost Dinosaurs?" Rosie said "Captain Woolbeard's probably too mad to remember you guys! If you have the real Beard Ribbon, there's no way you can give it to him when he's like this!"
Woolbeard began levitating a disc that Vivian dropped and his own medals became absorbed into it, changing it into a robotic creature resembling that of a Plesio, an Elasmo, and a Krono.
"Okay, Holt, hold it off, I'll get Geo and Rosie!" Monica shouted.
"Right" Holt got out his chip and morpher and got ready.
"VivoFighters: Pachy Power!" Holt changed into his Ranger suit and drew his PickAxe sword and charged.
Monica made it to Geo and Rosie and started tugging on the chains.
"That's not going to work" Geo said.
"Well do you have a better idea?" she asked.
"Yes actually"
"Really? I'm all ears" she snapped.
"Just take my gloves off and place the gems on the slots on my belt" Geo snapped back.
Monica growled before she took off his gloves and matched the gems up to the slots.
Access
And, quite comically, she ended up flying backwards when the wave of energy came out of his belt, and actually disintegrated the chains holding both him and Rosie, who unfortunately, slid a couple inches as the energy was still going.
Geo tenderly plucked his gloves out of Monica's hands.
"Thank you" he slipped them on and took the device off the side of his belt, grabbed a key from his pouch and typed in a code after opening it up before getting ready.
"Henshin!"
He slid the piece in and spun the disc.
Insert. Energize
The line shot out and created his suit, however, it was in his M-Archer mode
M-Archer, Engaged!
He took out another key and slotted it in, typed in the code, and spun the disc.
Key #06, the female voice started. Strike Arrow, Engaged!, the male finished.
The Strike Arrow appeared in his hands and he ran forward and slashed across the monsters back.
When it spun around to attack him, he dodged the claw and pulled the handle back before shooting an arrow at its face.
Holt ran out of the way and ran next to Geo.
"Nice Armor" Holt complimented.
"Thanks" Geo turned to the creature.
"Any ideas?"
"Yeah, we finish this quick, I have a feeling we need to hurry" Geo said and he took out a key and slotted it in.
"Don't we need to drag this on for a while?" Holt asked.
"No, we don't need to because we don't have time"
"What's your problem?"
"First off, you're a fan of Murphy's law, are you?" Holt shook his head "either way, read the script" he shoved a series of papers into Holt's hands and inserted the key into his belt.
"'Geo and Holt finish off the Monster easily, finding it is extremely weak despite its appearance' huh, you guys really want to finish this don't you?"
"Just follow the script" Geo activated the code and spun the disc.
Key Charge
He then moved it into a slot above the part attached to the handle and the arrow sticking out of the front and twisted it in the slot.
Strike Arrow, the female voice announced. Arrow Blitz, the male announced. Barrage Engaged! Both shouted.
The blue arrows hovered around them.
Holt shook his head and attached his PickAxe in gun mode to his PaCrasher and inserted his final chip.
"AxeBlaster: Connect and Charge!"
Geo pulled the handle as the energy started swirling around him.
"M-Arrow Barrage!"
"Fire!"
Both of them unleashed their attacks, which hit the monster and caused it to explode.
"I think Captain Woolbeard needs better security" Monica idly commented.
Woolbeard finally calmed down enough for Rosie to tie down his beard; he thanked them then promptly vanished into smoke, leaving behind an odd idol.
"Is this his idea of treasure?" Monica asked.
"I'll take it, I'll just tell my grandfather it's a gift from a friend" Rosie picked it up.
"Okay, you go ahead and take it back to your place, we'll go ahead and head back" Monica said.
Rosie nodded and teleported back to the city while the other three teleported back to the Fossil Core.
X-Omega:
Eon awoke on top of the factory with Odd and Aelita, both in their regular clothes.
"How did we get out here?" Aelita asked.
"I don't know, but something's going on" Odd said.
"What was your first hint, because mine was this" Eon pointed to the city, which was under attack by several of Xana's monsters, but the ones they could see were the Kolossus and the Wolfe, which had made quick work of the buildings and thankfully, the humans were able to escape.
"Oh no"
"What do we do?"
"Well, I don't know about you guys, but I'll fight" Eon took out his key and inserted it into his morpher.
"DinoMorph Power: Go!" he changed into his Ranger suit and took out his boomerang blades, before he actually glided down to the ground before he landed and made it to the end of the bridge that was opposite the factory.
"I don't know why I haven't used this until now, but here goes!" Eon pulled out a new key and slotted it into his morpher, where it attached to his regular key.
He twisted the knob and held the key out, where it shined brightly and a white beam shot into the sky and he twisted it, opening it up to reveal a vortex.
"Alright, time for a long overdue wake-up call!" From the vortex a violet Brachiosaurus about half the size of the Kolossus fell to the ground and roared.
"Alright, you know what to do!" he shouted into his brace just as Odd and Aelita ran up beside him.
"What is that?" Odd said.
"An old friend"
"Is that one of those so called "MegaZords" I've heard you use?" Aelita asked.
"No, this is my strongest VivoZord: #11 Brachio!"
"So, you have more then one?" Odd asked.
"Yeah, but this one was the one to wake up first"
Brachio slowly moved towards the Kolossus, which ran to intercept it. It simply swung its neck and impacted the side of the beast and sent it into a building.
Eon winced before his brace roared.
"Alright, glad to see you're up and ready to go to!" Eon placed the key in his morpher and twisted the knob again before he pointed the key at the vortex and reopened it.
"Let's go! My roughest VivoZord: #12 Neo!" a blue dinosaur resembling a T-Rex fell out of the vortex and roared before starting to fight with the Wolfe.
"So, is that the only other one you have?" Aelita asked.
"Nope, but he's still waking up as it is" Eon commented.
Odd's phone rang and he picked it up. "Hello? Oh hey Jeremy… no, I can't get to Lyoko right now… just go outside and come find us, we're at the bridge outside" Odd hung up and looked back at the battle.
The Brachio had lifted up the Kolossus by biting down on its neck and had tossed it into a vacant park.
Neo was getting into a biting match with the Wolfe and had bit into its leg, causing the wolf to howl before going after the nimble VivoZord.
The others finally made it to the three and watched in awe.
"What's going on?" Ulrich asked.
"I don't know what to say myself" Odd commented.
"How did they get out of Lyoko?" Yumi questioned.
"I don't know, this sort of thing has never happened before" Jeremy said.
"It hasn't? Not a single one of Xana's monsters have done this before?" William asked.
"Well, once, but they were Kankrelats" Jeremy looked at the monsters "and they at least used the scanners, so we know how they did it"
Neo was unable to escape the Wolfe for long, and was bitten before he was tossed through a building.
The Kolossus had enough of Brachio and hit its neck before it ran around and hit Brachio across the gut, as Brachio was too slow to turn in time.
"Um, is that supposed to happen?" Ulrich asked.
"Why do you think we usually form the MegaZord immediately when we summon the Zords? It's so that this doesn't happen" Eon pointed out.
"Well why don't you form the MegaZord then?" Jeremy asked.
"I can't I need to summon one last Zord before I can!"
Neo was picked up by the Wolfe and tossed into Brachio, who buckled under the pressure and was hit by the Kolossus across the head.
"Crap! Aopteryx, if you're going to wake, you'd better do it soon! Aopteryx! Aopteryx!" Eon shouted into his brace.
-In the vortex-
A white blur speeds through the air, before it hears something.
"Aopteryx! Aopteryx!"
The blur screeched before it flew towards the vortex at a high speed.
-Back with Eon-
A sudden screech rings out from Eon's brace.
"Alright, let's get going!" Eon inserted the key one last time and twisted the brace.
"Alright, my partner VivoZord" he threw his hand towards the open vortex and reopened it "Aopteryx!"
From the vortex, a white blur flew out and hit the Kolossus and Wolfe before flying towards Brachio and Neo and flying around them before perching on Brachio's head, revealing itself to be a white bird-like creature which was at least a half of the size of Neo.
"Whoa"
"Talk about timing"
The Wolfe and the Kolossus rose up and roared/howled.
"I think it's time I finished this" Eon raised his brace up to his mouth.
"Aopteryx, absorb neutral!" the Zord in question screeched and released a white beam of light that hit Eon and took him inside a cockpit-like area.
He stabbed his blades into two slots in the center and took off his brace before placing it onto a slot on the side.
"VivoZord combination!"
Neo ran forward and roared before its leg extended then unfolded a bit, creating a pair of giant legs and the body folded up to form a lower torso. Brachio hovered and its legs folded up and it connected to the legs that Neo created, making a body and a pair of arms with the tail on the left and the head on the right and a head folded up from the top of the body. Finally, Aopteryx flew over and folded up a little before it came on top of the head, creating a helmet and the wings pointed upwards. "Neutral Morph MegaZord!" Eon shouted from within the cockpit as the Zord got into a ready stance.
"Whoa" William repeated.
"Amazing" Ulrich was doing his impression of a gaping fish.
"So that's a MegaZord" Aelita idly commented.
The MegaZord ran towards the Kolossus with the left hand becoming a sword as he thrust it towards the stomach and using the head to bash the Wolfe away and through a building. "Fore!" Eon joked and he used his MegaZord to kick the Kolossus across the stomach.
"Drill blade!" the tail came off and was grabbed the head, becoming a sword and revealing the left arm to be a gun. The MegaZord pointed its gun arm towards both creatures and fired, hitting both monsters and causing sparks to shoot off them.
"Alright, time to finish this" Eon took his weapons out and forming blade mode before he hit the knob on his morpher and took the key out before slotting it into his weapon and taking the weapon out of the slot and energy started covering it.
"Triple Dino VivoBurst!" He pointed his weapon ahead in gun form and shot three times and the gun arm followed and shot 3 white balls of energy at the two of them and traps them in a cage before an apparition of Eon in his ranger suit appears next to the MegaZord and both of them slashed in a triangle formation, destroying the monsters.
"Hm, alright!" Eon celebrated.
The three VivoZord heads roared in unison before they vanished back into the portal.
Eon jumped back down to the others and took the key out of his morpher and his suit dematerialized.
"So" he told the group "what's next?"
V-Fighters:
[Geo's P.O.V.]
In a wave of air, I arrived at the Fossil Core and looked around.
"Impressive" I responded before someone came up and threw their arms around me.
"You're okay" I recognized the voice as May
"I would have been fine, I've been through worse" I told her.
May released me from the hug and someone else walked up to me. "So, ay says you can help us with something" the voice is female and I look and see it's a blond-haired girl wearing a white dress.
Unnoticed to everyone else, except for myself, the X on my hand glowed and when I looked back at Duna and instead of the girl in the white dress, I saw a blue skinned creature with dark blue arms and pink hair along with several pink areas on her body… and elf ears… and is that a tail?
I take my glasses off and breathe on them before cleaning them with my shirt, rub my eyes, and place them back on my face. Yup, still looks like a monster.
"Geo, is something wrong?" May asked.
"No, nothing's wrong May"
The feeling of the X vanished from my hand and she changed back into the blond girl in the white dress before I was led to a computer and saw several programs with data all over them.
Oh look, a chance!
"This should take a while, why don't you guys head out and grab some food" I try.
"I could eat" Jack said.
"Shouldn't we wait until you guys are done?" Holt asked.
"No, you guys should head out, just remember to bring me back a sandwich or something" I say.
The others agreed.
"Okay, let's go then" Duna said.
"Hold on, I need you to stay behind and help me with this Duna" I say.
"Why Duna?" I actually FELT May grow jealous.
"In order to solve this, I need someone who's seen this before and has worked over it, and the only people who have seen this are the Rangers, and the ones who have worked extensively on it, are either missing, or standing right there" I look pointedly at Duna.
"That does seem reasonable" Max says.
Monica looks at me and just in case; I put up a block in my mind.
She seems to tense up before she says "he's right guys, we need to get something to eat, let's go" she leads them away, except for Duna and May, who takes one last look before she follows them.
I relax and sit at a seat next to them computer and get to work.
It's a few minutes of us working before Duna stops what she's doing and stands up.
"So" Duna walks towards me slowly "any reason as to why you wanted to get me alone? I thought you would be in a relationship with May with the way she was acting."
"I'm not trying to flirt" I don't even look up.
"Then why get me alone with you?"
The X reappears on my hand and her appearance changes so I look up at her for once "So I could find out why you look like an alien elf"
"What?" she makes an effort to not look shocked. It wasn't a good effort.
I stand up and start to walk around "Your torso is light blue, your legs and arms are a dark blue, and you have several pink areas on your body, INCLUDING your tail. And your hair is pink for some reason, none of which is natural" I finish my walk so that I'm right next to her "so any reason as to why you're hiding your look? Fear? On the run? Cosplaying?"
"You wouldn't understand"
I grab her left hand with my right hand and it appears I'm holding her hand, to which I think she blushed.
Images flood my head and she pulls her hand away and shoves me.
"I see, so that's why you're hiding your appearance" I turn my head and look at her "the others may not be able to see beneath your disguise, but I have more practice with this" I hold up the X "then anyone else on the team, mainly because I'm the only one to fully use the powers it has given me" well, that and I could never really control it in the first place.
"So, any reason your hiding your plan from your "friends"?" I lean in so that I'm next to her ear "Duna the Dinaurian"
Duna shoved me away and I look at her and see her eyes are wide in shock.
"How did you-"
"Know about your Kings "plan" to save your race?" if it were possible for her eyes to open wider, they would have "the other Rangers may not know your true plan, but I do, and I know that you aren't going to be able to do what you think you should do"
"I have no choice"
"Yes you do!"
"No, they won't accept us!"
"You don't know that! If they were really your friends, they would understand the truth of why you hid your true identity"
"They aren't my friends"
"Then why do you choose to go hang around them instead of planning?"
"So I can gain their trust"
"No, I can tell there is more then just that" I sit back down at the computer and start typing again.
"There's nothing more then that!"
"What about the White Ranger?"
"What about him?"
"I can tell there's more underneath. You don't just see him as just a friend" I finish typing and hit enter.
"You're right; I don't see him as a friend at all"
I stand up again. "Stop trying to pull up a cloak and hide your true feelings, I've already seen what you think you "need" to do, so you can't deny what I've seen" I finish.
Duna stood there, not sure what to think or say.
"If you're done denying the truth, then come help me figure this out" Duna walked over to my side and looked at the computer.
"How did you… you solved it that fast?"
"Never question my intellect" I tell her.
Before she responds, the others suddenly teleport in.
"We're back" Monica said before she tossed me a sandwich, which I caught and opened up before I took a bite out of it.
"Yup… chicken" I say and I put the sandwich down before displaying the data on a big screen nearby.
"So basically, this type of data, accounts for… isn't there a sort of leader figure you guys have?"
"Oh right" Rosie ran off for a moment and came back with an older man.
"Okay, so now that we're all here" I emphasize a portion of the data.
"This specific piece here resembles something you guys recorded a while back of one of your enemies changing into their monster forms" I move from that piece onto another one "and this piece of code is basically reprogramming someone's DNA into something completely different from what it already is. The footage I've seen of all five of you changing into your Boost Armor forms has shown that there is something else in between the lines, that is unnoticeable unless you can tell how it goes"
"What did it show?" the guy in yellow asked.
"Under close investigation, there was revealed to be a sort of apparition that was invisible to the naked eye" I zoom in on a certain area "and this spirit appears to always appear whenever the Boost Armor is activated" with a few clicks, several images are pulled up of the Rangers Boost Armor, revealing some sort of spirit nearby. "And looking through the data for the regular suits, I found that the human who uses the suit manages to summon the spirit of the Vivosaur out of the medal, and fuse with it"
"So the spirit is the Boost Vivosaur?" My fellow glasses-wearer asked.
"If it were that easy, it would, but it's not" A few clicks later, the image of the three lead monsters were pulled up next to the five Rangers Boost Armor "if you put it under the right filter or compare the data version of these to other data, you will find that the DNA of the Destructors and the DNA of the Boost Armor are the same"
"How is that DNA?" Jack asked.
"Because the DNA is placed through the DNA of the Boost Vivosaur"
"What exactly does this mean?" Max asked.
"Onto my next point-"
"What point, all you've done is confuse us!" Max said… then Monica smacked him in the back of the head.
"Just get on with it Geo" Monica said.
"Gladly. While reviewing some clips of previous battles, under close inspection, I found that during the battle with the creature who labeled himself "Z-Rex" there was a mysterious substance on his claw, and with enough strikes, Seth was subjected to immense pain due to the substance manifesting. And when it manifested, it uploaded a some DNA onto his chip as well, and the chip was only meant for one Vivosaur DNA I presume" the man nodded "well, due to another DNA being imprinted on the chip, during the fusion, it slowly began to turn Seth into a Destructor at a rate that probably would have turned him into one within 30 years… if he transformed at least every day until then."
"Seems reasonable" May commented.
"But, since he activated his Boost Armor several times, it started to transform him at an exponential rate, which would have changed him in a few months, after a couple months of pain"
"Well what if he stopped changing into Boost mode?" Duna asked.
"It still wouldn't have mattered, the change was set, it just had a time limit. Anyway, if he kept using the armor, he would have experienced pains from health deteriorating, which would have caused him to stop using it" I look pointedly at Duna "but something inside him had caused a premature change as well, transforming him into the Red or the Mix Destructor, if you will"
"Do you know what it was?"
"Unfortunately, no, there's no data showing anything remotely close to the thing that caused the premature change"
"But what does this say about our Boost Armor?"
"Looking through the computer, I managed to find some data for some VivoZords that WERE supposed to take the place of #'s 6-10, but they were replaced by the Boost Zords, so that implies that, since the Boost Zords are connected to the armor, that the Boost Armor was never intended to be created"
"Seth told me he received his Boost medal from a dream he had" Rosie said.
"Well, when the substance I previously mentioned had manifested, then it's possible it was a hallucination he had of a possible explanation that the Destructors had planted in order to distract you guys of how it really happened"
"The Destructors?"
"Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the Destructors planted the substance on Seth in order to change Seth for some reason, and then, it appears that the Boost DNA was actually a kind of… contagion, if you will, that spread across the five of you and manifested as your Boost Armor, appearing to be the same as Seth, but much slower, and apparently, there appears to be something else that I can't seem to find"
"How did you find all of this?" Duna asked, dumbfounded.
"Like I said, never doubt my intellect" I say.
"But how, you took a few minutes to do what you were doing, discussed some of it with me, and while we were doing that, you were working on it and then they got here, all of that couldn't have been more then 10 minutes, and this should have taken at least an hour to a day with how much data we had" Duna said.
"You know, you shouldn't lie about what happened" Duna paled. I don't know why, I wasn't going to reveal her secret.
"What did she lie about?" Max asked.
I smiled and she paled even further "the time, it was approximately 14 minutes" she appears to grow calm.
"Anything else?" May asked.
"Yes, but I haven't finished with what I was doing, which involved both Eon, and what May saw. Also, I can't seem to find anything on Eon or his powers, and I can't find out what happened in the vision due to the description of it." I tell them.
"Well, for Eon, it's because Eon's powers have nothing to do with the powers we have here" the man said.
"Well, where's Eon then?"
"I just said I can't seem to find anything on him" I sigh "but he's at the factory with the other Lyoko Warriors" I swear Max did a cliché anime fall, for at least a second, but no one else noticed.
"How did that happen?"
"I don't know, but it was simple to trace the energy I came into contact with since it was the only one of its kind in the world"
"So how will he get back here?" May asked.
"I think he's fine where he is" I pull up a clip from a news site about a white robot fighting against a Kolossus and a Wolfe.
"Wait" the yellow guy said "he has a MegaZord?"
X-Omega:
[Odd's P.O.V.]
As soon as we're done, we head back inside the factory and get to work.
"So what's going on Jeremy?" I ask.
"There's reports all over the news of how Eon just saved France, but people are asking where he came from"
"What does that mean?' Eon asked.
"Sorry, guys, but I don't have a choice" Jeremy typed in a code and hit enter "Return to the Past now!"
A white dome came over us as the process began.
V-Fighters:
[Third Person P.O.V.]
Geo sat at a computer and he was currently watching a live news feed and saw a white dome covering the camera.
He nodded before he stood u and the X on his hand glowed.
"Rosie, I need you to take me to the top of the island, fast!" he said.
Rosie led him up top and saw the white dome coming towards them at a rapid pace.
"What is that!" She asked.
"It's a return to the past" he turned to her "can you form a dome of water around the island and its attachments?" she nodded and she actually managed to construct a wall made of water around the island.
Geo placed his hand on the dome and transparent green energy covered the dome just as the white dome came.
"What are you doing?" she asked him.
"Absorbing the energy" he began to collapse before the white dome vanished just as the water fell all over the island… then it started raining.
"Did you know you could cause rain?" he asked.
"No, not at all" she said before the two ran back inside.
"Why are you two soaking wet?" Jack asked when the two returned back inside.
"You don't want to know" Geo said.
"So what do we do now?" May asked.
"First off, I need to see what was in that vision you had" Geo walked over to May and grabbed her hand as the X on his hand glowed.
In his mind, images flowed into it before he let go.
"I see" he went over to the computer and held his arm out, causing a wave of green energy to flow into the computer. A few clicks later, he was playing a video clip.
"Wait, is that what May saw?" Duna asked.
"Yes" Geo said.
"Then, how did you manage to get it out of her head and show it on the screen?" Dyllon said.
"I don't know I'm just able to do it" Geo shrugged.
The group watched the video and when Geo reached towards the computer but he didn't manage to reach it as he collapsed.
May ran to his side.
"I'm fine, I'm fine" he said as she helped him up.
"What happened?" Monica asked.
"It's nothing, I just said I'm fine, so I'm fine" Geo said.
Holt looked at the screen.
"So where exactly is this device?" he asked.
"Apparently, you think I'm psychic, which I'm not… I don't think I am at least" Geo said.
"What does that mean?"
"That means I don't know where it is" Geo snapped.
"It looks familiar. Holt, do you remember seeing somewhere that looks like that area?" Rosie said.
"Yeah, but I can't tell what?" Holt put his hand to his chin in thought.
The group looked over the video for a few more moments before Dyllon spoke up. "Hold on, isn't that the T-Rex fossil back there?"
"Where?" Geo asked.
"Back up a little bit and zoom in there" Dyllon pointed to a point on the screen.
Geo complied and zoomed in on an area, displaying what appeared to be a T-rex head.
"It is" Duna said.
"What's the big deal about a T-rex fossil?" Monica asked.
"Because, there is only one part of the island where a T-rex fossil on display like that" Rosie said.
She turned to Folse. "Folse, do you have any idea why they would do it there?"
"Well, I have a slight idea" Folse said.
"What is it?" Geo asked.
"Well, what do you know about Evolutionary Energy?" He asked the group.
"That's the thing, we were never really briefed as to what Evolutionary Energy is" Dyllon said.
"Well Evolutionary Energy is the energy that powers your suits, Zords, and most of the island"
"How?"
"Well, several years ago, when the island was first found, a previous Ranger team found a way to utilize their powers in a way that would help, creating a generator that enabled them to power the island with a battery that never runs out of energy"
"Well, that doesn't explain what the energy is" Max said.
"Well, to begin, what exactly is hope?" Folse asked.
"Hope?" Max said.
"Yes, what is it?"
"I don't know how to explain it" Max said.
"Well, hope in my words, I think, is the dreams we have and the belief that we can accomplish what we need to"
"But what does that have to do with the energy?" Max insisted.
"Hey, impatient boy, shut up" Folse snapped.
"Anyway, the energy itself is powered by hope, which is why none of you are better then the other, because the amount of energy you have is increased and decreased depending on how much hope you have. When you guys first started, the reason that Seth was stronger then all of you was because he had hope that he could help those who couldn't fight during the first attack. And from then on, each of your power ranged from how strong you were to how much hope you had at that moment."
"So that area where they are has a lot of hope in it, therefore enabling them to generate a lot of Evolutionary Energy to power their machine?" Geo inquired, to which Folse nodded.
"But what does that area have to do with hope?" Max asked.
"Would you stop acting so dumb with these questions!" Dyllon finally snapped, annoyed with Max, who held his hands up in defense.
"Well, since you asked" Folse said, causing Dyllon to plant his face into his palm.
"The area is filled with dreams and hope of becoming Master Level Fossil Fighters. If you take that first step, then you have hope to accomplish you dreams, therefore leaving enough hope from the previous rookie fighters, which in turn would power the machine they have"
"So you're saying every machine they have is powered by Evolutionary Energy?" Geo said.
"Yes" Folse confirmed.
"So don't you think you should find a way to power you machines without the energy?" he asked.
"Shouldn't we focus on the more important issue?" Monica reminded them.
"Right, sorry" Geo said.
"Do you guys have any idea what to do now?" Folse asked.
"We need to go to that area and stop that machine" Holt said.
"But we barely know what it does" Rosie said.
"Still, we know that it borrows the Boost data and the data we use to morph and rearranges it to change humans to Destructors, much like those masks" Duna said.
"And we sort of know where it is" Jack cut in.
"But we don't know when they'll start their plan to use the data" Monica said.
"Well, knowing the situation, it can't be too long" Geo said.
"But we have time before it starts, right?" Dyllon asked.
The air suddenly got heavy and the group started having trouble breathing as alarms rang out.
"Apparently it started" Geo said, looking at the computer and seeing a large red area on a blue map of the island.
Folse walked over to the computer and started typing something in.
"He's right. There's a large fluctuation of energy in this area, and there are other waves of energy branching out from there" Folse said.
"In that case, we're going to need all the strength we can get" Geo said "everyone, let's go" all of them, including Folse ran out of the room and outside to see several multi-colored waves.
"Okay, let's go!"
X-Omega:
Eon awoke in the factory at the supercomputer and looked around.
"What happened?" He put his hand to his head and suddenly had trouble breathing.
He looked at the computer, which started filling with static.
"What?" he asked.
"Hello? Hello? Can anyone hear me?" a voice rang out from the computer.
"Is anyone there?" Eon asked.
"Oh good, someone's there" the computer got a bit clearer and Eon saw a man in a lab coat with a red shirt and grey hair with a large pair of glasses.
"Who are you?" Eon asked.
"I am Franz Hopper, Aelita and Monica's father"
"Okay, but what do we do now?" Eon asked Franz.
"The people back at Vivosaur Island are in danger"
"What do you mean?" Eon dared to say.
"I mean, that Xana and Zander have joined forces with your enemies and are planning on turning everyone into creatures that serve under our enemies"
"Well what can I do?" Eon questioned the man.
"Well, you need to get back to the island to fight; your interference will be helpful in the battle"
"But I don't think I can get there in time" Eon complained.
"One of your "Zords" is capable of flight, correct?"
