Chapter 15 & 8: Hope In the Light
Previously:
Before the man could get into a ready stance, the cocoon of light busted open and Seth was revealed to be a human.
Seth looked at Geo, even as he was glowing and helped him up.
"I think it's time we finished this" Seth said, and both of them looked at their enemies. Seth glowed and all of a sudden his Ranger Form appeared, as did his Boost Armor, but both was suddenly changed into an armor that couldn't be seen in the brightness by anyone but Geo.
"I see, so that's what you're going to use to overpower it" Geo said, and both of them extended their hands towards the machine. The X on Geo's hand glowed and the front of Seth's armor started flashing and rainbow-colored light shot out of their hands and covered the machine and Destructors, temporarily blinding everyone.
The lights abruptly stopped and Seth's armor was revealed to have vanished and he was back in his regular Ranger suit as Geo was in his Lyoko form.
Everyone unshielded their eyes to see that the machine that they had saw that was doing so much damage to everyone, had been frozen in stone, along with every other enemy up there.
"I-Is it over?" Holt asked, as everyone got up.
"I think so" Monica responded.
The man sighed and he walked away, unnoticed.
"But, what about Folse and Zander?" Eon asked.
"I don't know, for Zander, we'll have to wait to see what he does, for Folse, you guys will have to contain him until his DNA can reset from the damages done by the machine" Geo told them.
Geo and Seth both deactivated their transformations and turned around as their suits faded.
Geo looked at the small crowd behind him, but Seth looked especially at his team, and smiled.
"Hey guys, I'm back" he said. Holt, Dyllon, Duna, and Eon all smiled in glee. Rosie however, put her hands to her mouth and tears started leaking out of her eyes before she ran at Seth and hugged him.
He hugged her back. "Seth" Rosie whispered.
"Um, guys, can you save this for later" Max said.
Holt smacked him over the back of the head... with his fist. "Don't ruin this for them" he told the boy.
"I see, so you decided to make a funny joke about my armor based on both the show and called me a "Masked Rider"?"
"Is that what it means?" Seth had a face of confusion. "I speak a little bit, don't judge me" Geo said "but I guess that means that I need a title, how about:
Kamen Rider X-Omega?"
Soon enough, the Lyoko Warriors and Seth, Holt, and Rosie all stood in the room where they first showed up.
"Well, this is where we'll have to say goodbye" Monica told the three.
"It's been nice to see you guys" Rosie said.
Geo looked at the phone and the X started to glow.
"Well, time we took our leave" Geo said.
"Wait, how are you guys able to use the phone like that?" Holt asked.
"Because, whenever you guys use your morphers, a portal opens, and THEN the Vivosaur fuses with you, I can use the portal function in a similar way to get us home" Geo fixed his glasses as the group started to glow and vanished.
"Goodbye for now, Power-no; Fossil Rangers"
And Now:
28 Days Later… No I'm not talking about the movie.
X-Omega:
[Geo's P.O.V.]
I finished packing my stuff after a long month of procrastinating. The only response I have to this is "old habits die hard" okay?
After packing, I dropped the bag onto my bed and walked outside into the cold air. A few fresh breaths later, I was walking towards the forest and headed into them.
A few moments later, I saw May on a bench looking around nervously before she spotted me and smiled. She got up and jogged to me.
"Hey Geo, why did you want to see me?" she asked.
"What are you talking about?" I was genuinely confused. "You told me yesterday to meet you here, you said you had something you wanted to talk to me about" she said.
"I did?" All of a sudden, a memory came up from yesterday, I did actually want to talk to her.
"Oh right, that, well, I wanted to know if you wanted to go see a movie with me before we leave" That could not have come out slower.
May's normally pale white face turned a bright red and her eyes widened.
She froze for a moment. "Uh, May?" I moved my hand back and forth in front of her face.
She wasn't moving when she suddenly fainted. "I guess that's a no?" I was very sheepish when saying that.
I picked her up and put her on the bench before I walked away.
After about five minutes, I got to a bike rack and took a bike off a chain before getting on and riding it across the town. When I got to the factory, I simply rode it inside and leaned it against the wall before heading into the supercomputer room and finding Jeremy typing on a computer.
"I thought you'd be here" I told him.
"Oh, Geo what are you doing here?" Jeremy asked.
"I needed to ask you something and I didn't exactly think I could get answers from anyone else"
"A question, alright, let's hear it" Jeremy took his earpiece off and placed it onto the computer.
"When it comes down to it, when you felt everyone's fate in your hands, and you felt yourself lose them, what exactly did you feel? Loneliness? Fear? Hopelessness? Despair?" I don't know why I asked this, but considering I fell into a portal this past week and met some guy named Yuya who was a "wizard" I just had to know (A/N If you've read a specific story of mine, you should know what I'm hinting at).
"How did you know about that incident?" Jeremy asked.
"A week ago, I checked through your logs and discovered the one where you almost lost them in that parallel world in Lyoko" I simply reply. I cough and take a breath from my inhaler. My asthma had been getting worse for some reason.
"Well, when that happened, I felt as if I'd lost everything, and I guess I felt alone without my friends around. Why do you ask? Has something happened?" Jeremy said.
"No, nothing, but one more thing, have you ever felt so alone in a world so different from your own, but you can't tell anyone except those you trust?"
"Yeah, all the time, we have Lyoko's secret to keep, have you been feeling that Geo?" Jeremy asked.
I didn't say a single word as I walked into the elevator and hit the button to go up as the doors closed between me and Jeremy.
As soon as they did and the elevator started moving, I felt a single tear slip down my cheek before I wiped it away, thankful there was no camera in here.
V-Fighters:
[Seth's P.O.V.]
I sat in the seat at the Cyberspace, eating a piece of chicken, quite fiercely if I say so myself. I guess I'm still feeling some side effects from transforming into the Mix Destructor.
I don't understand why that's a problem, I thought at least one of the Vivosaurs DNA that combined were herbivores. And, for some reason, I keep drawing blanks in my memories.
Looking up, I saw someone walking into the Cyberspace. It was Holt. He took one look, showing he acknowledged I was here before he looked away.
Well, it was about a second later then last week.
The only problem is that I have no idea why the other Rangers has been ignoring me for the past month. I was aware of what happened while I was a Destructor, but it's as if they think I'm a completely different person. The only person who acknowledges me is Rosie, but that's different as she's actually happy to see me around, and not afraid.
Then again, everything's changed since the incident.
People don't seem to believe the Fossil Rangers will fight to protect them since almost everyone changed. Duna left to find a cure for Folse with Eon. Without them, Holt didn't stay for long, Dyllon didn't either as he believes the situation is done and that everything's fine.
At least Rosie is still around, but that's because she still believes there's still a threat, as do I.
A single sigh later, I'm back to eating my chicken before I take a sip from my drink. Then again, I did have to fight with in some strange world a few days ago, but that's all I remember, whenever I think of the suit, I can't remember it, all I remember is fighting, nothing about what happened in-between all of it, or what happened in the last fight and the people I fought alongside.
X-Omega:
[Third Person P.O.V.]
Monica walked around campus with Jack, both of them holding hands.
"So, you ready for the trip?" Jack asked her.
"Yeah, it seems like it's going to be a good trip even if it takes a few days. The only problem is that I find it a bit weird we're going on a plane and boat to the island when we only did a month of fundraisers for this."
"It'll be fine; the trip is going to be okay"
"I'm more worried about Geo" she told him.
"Worried… about Geo… the same guy who calls himself a Kamen Rider?"
"That's the thing, he doesn't exactly feel like he deserves the title. A few days ago, he told us the story about us going into that world with all those other Riders and fighting alongside them, he feels he lost too easily and didn't deserve to be helping them"
"But why? It's to my understanding that Kamen Riders are heroes of justice"
"No, Geo said, he doesn't fight for justice, but to keep a secret that he himself feels guilty for. Because he fought alongside them, he realizes that he also has a feeling of guilt, and isn't going to ever feel like he belongs as a true Kamen Rider or Lyoko Warrior" Monica admitted.
"And he knows this? He knows that you know?"
"He knows I can read minds, and that I probably invaded his privacy, but he thinks I get what's coming to me because of some of the things he thinks of, he thinks it's really too disturbing for anyone."
"And he's wrong?"
"Um… not exactly" Monica froze "you don't want to know… I have seen some stuff that should never be seen by anyone else except the owner of that human mind"
Jack looked very confused for a moment.
Monica looked at Jack, but noticed Geo walking through the forest while looking around.
"What's the matter?" Jack looked in the same direction as Monica.
Geo turned for a moment and saw them looking at him before looking away and going away at a full sprint.
Geo stopped running and looked around. "Good, no one can see me, this disguise is getting old." Geo reached into his pocket and pulls out a smart phone before pushing a button. His clothing starts flickering before it changes into an outfit that was nothing that he would wear before he placed something on his nose, causing it to shift around and revealing that he wasn't Geo, but in fact Zander.
He stretched his neck and looked around holding the phone out before activating a function. On the screen, what appeared to be a radar had shown along with several items that occasionally beeped.
Zander looked around before following the direction of one.
Unbeknownst to him, Monica had seen the entire thing and followed after him carefully.
Zander had soon found a hole in the ground and jumped down it. He walked around the cave for a while before he came across a large room.
"Alright, it looks like it was here for a short while now. Although for some reason, it looks like when it crashed, the explosion had created more room for it to fall into." Zander spoke into his phone as a recording.
"The composition appears to be weakened and if I got here any later, then it appears that it would have fallen deeper into the ground." Zander finished recording and walked towards a small object in the center of the room.
When he got close enough, it was revealed to be a crystal. The crystal was large enough to fit in his hand and had a green color to it but it had a small light blue object in the center.
"Heh, that was easy" Zander pulled out a pair of tongs and used them to pick it up before placing it into a bag. Monica watched from a distance, but moved her right leg an inch, and several rocks cascaded down the slant.
Zander spun around. "Who's there!" he pulled out a pistol and pointed it at where the rocks came from and fired several shots.
Monica dove out of the way and accidentally came into Zander's line of sight.
"Oh, it's you" Zander pocketed the gun and started to leave.
"Hey, where are you going?"
"I have no need to be here, and I have no need to deal with you" Zander walked out.
"Hold on just a minute!' Monica ran after him.
"You're not going to go without telling me what that is!"
"Oh shut up already!" Zander pointed his hand at Monica and shot a blast of violet energy at her and it engulfed her, causing her to collapse.
Monica laid on the ground, her eyes turning violet for a moment before she stood up, as if nothing was wrong.
"Where am I? Why am I here, I need to go see how everyone else is before we leave" apparently, she had no recollection of what had happened.
-The next day-
Geo and the rest of the group sat on the plane, which had taken off.
"Honestly, I still find it hard to believe that they had this trip prepared and got the money ready, but still had the time to give us the news as a surprise" Geo said. He was sitting next to May, but their seats were besides Toby and Michael's seats.
"Well, I know that it's confusing, but we don't have to worry about it, it's still a free trip for us" May said.
"She's not wrong" both of them looked at Michael, who had spoken up. "Please elaborate" Geo said.
"I mean, we have a free trip and they had the courtesy of arranging it for us, we might as well not worry about it" Toby spoke for his brother.
"Heh I'll admit, you guys have gotten something over me for once, but don't get used to it" Geo looked forward and caught a flash of a black belt with what appeared to be a yellow, silver, and black toy sword on the side. He sat straight up and looked at his hand. His arm had the X on it and a vision of two people in armor.
The one the left had a white suit with several black highlights all over it. She was wearing white and silver armor on her shoulders, chest, and back that appeared to be designed after some kind of fruit. Her helmet was based off a dragon, but it appeared to be less feral then the one next to her.
The one next to her was wearing a black suit with several white highlights. His armor was based somewhat off the same fruit as the one next to him, except it was an ominous blood red color. His helmet appeared to be a more feral version of the one next to him.
He came back to reality and looked around before looking back at his hand.
"Kamen Riders? But… who were they… and didn't those two have belts like that?"
Seth walked to the airport with Rosie.
Both of them had been chosen to take care of certain groups of people and show them around the island while explaining some of the technology and such. It would take a few days for the trip, but it would be worth it to see their allies again.
"Are you looking forward to seeing May again" Seth teased.
"Hey, it helps to have some female friends, especially when you are a female" Rosie responded.
"Hey, like Holt said, friends are overrated"
"Yeah, but he said that when he was alone"
"So, like last week?" Rosie smacked Seth in the arm. "Stop it, this is a serious matter" she snapped.
"It's fine, we'll be fine, how about I take you out to the Halloween Party later?" That weekend, there was going to be a party to celebrate Halloween. And an important thing to mention was that it had been the day after Level-Up Battles.
"Eh?" Rosie grew a slight blush. "D-don't you think we have more pressing matters to attend to that night?" she turned away.
"Nope" Seth grabbed her hand, and her cheeks reddened a bit more, but she didn't force him to let go.
"Oh would you guys stop, you're embarrassing the people who are actually couples" both of them turned around and saw that Holt was walking up to them with his hands in his pockets.
Rosie released her grip on Seth's hand.
"Hey Holt, how are you doing?" Seth asked.
"Doing fine"
"I saw you at the Cyberspace, how come you couldn't say at least hi or something?" Seth asked.
"Sorry, I was a bit preoccupied." Holt made an excuse.
"Holt, you looked a bit afraid when you saw me" Seth said.
"You really want to step it up right here?" Holt threatened.
Rosie got between them, come on guys, we're here for something besides fighting."
"Sorry" Seth backed up.
"Tch" Holt folded his arms.
An engine was heard and the three of them turned to see that there was a boy coming up to them on a bike that had a sidecar. Upon closer inspection, there was a girl on the back of the bike and another boy in the sidecar.
The bike stopped and the boy driving took off his helmet.
"Well, we're lost" he commented.
"How do you manage to get us lost and on an island?" The boy in the sidecar got up and stretched while looking around.
"I choose not to question where we get led with this thing" the boy tapped the bike.
"You know you could stop blaming A-I-R for YOUR driving" the girl of the three said.
"My driving isn't that bad, besides, I'm the only one of us who knows how to drive a motorcycle" the first boy fixed his jacket.
"Hikaru, doesn't A-I-R have an autopilot function?" the other boy asked.
"No, it got broken when I tried to use it in the dimension jump one time" Hikaru admitted.
"Don't we use it during the dimension jump?" the boy asked.
"Gimmy, don't be ridiculous, I just drive at random towards the signal" Hikaru told her.
"Well, at least he was honest" the girl admitted.
"Darry, please stop siding with him" Gimmy pleaded.
"We can just leave you wherever while we travel" Hikaru smirked. "Hikaru, don't be ridiculous, you still need the both of us for your mission"
"Well, when you're right, you're right, even if I often refuse to admit it" Hikaru sighed. "Alright, that's all I'm getting out of you, I'll take it" Darry said.
"Excuse me" Rosie spoke up. The three turned to the spectators.
"Oh, you saw that?" Hikaru asked.
"Yeah, is there a problem?" Rosie questioned.
"No, we're fine just having a bit of a problem with directions" Darry told her.
Hikaru snorted. "Yeah, a bit" he got smacked upside the head by Darry.
"Wait, how do you have trouble with directions on an island?" Holt spoke up. Hikaru looked at Holt and Seth before he recognized Seth.
"I see" he whispered. He stepped forward "that's my mistake, the GPS I have often messes up and often gets us lost" he said.
"Oh, well then where are you headed?" Rosie asked.
"Some hotel near something called a Fossil Center" Gimmy spoke up.
"Oh, you just head that way for about fifteen minutes until you see a domed building, to the right of that is a building shaped kind of like an L, and that's it" Hikaru nodded and revved his bike.
"Thank you!" he called out before he started driving.
"Well that was different" Seth commented.
"We've seen weirder" Holt continued walking to the airport.
Darry spoke into her earpiece. "So why did you look at that one guy like that? He a Rider of this world or something?"
Hikaru only said one thing: "Kabuto"
The plane landed and after waiting for a while, everyone got off.
"Wow, I didn't think there would be so many students" Rosie commented.
"What did you expect; Vivosaur Island is going to be well known around children and such" Seth said.
Meanwhile, Geo, May, Toby and Michael were all grouped together the second they got off the plane.
"Alright everyone, you're to be grouped with two other people and you'll be chaperoned by at least one person who is experienced with the island" Jim told the crowd of teenagers and children.
"Alright, can't be that bad" Geo whispered to May.
They waited for a while as the crowd slowly started to thin as the chaperones started to get group after group of people. Soon they were one of the few left.
"They're taking a while, I hope they hurry up" May turned to Geo, who was lying on the ground, snoring.
"Wake up!" she smacked him in the head and he snapped up.
"I swear I didn't mean to- wait I'm awake now" Geo looked around and saw May. "You know I was enjoying my nap" he told her.
"Well don't you have something you can use to wait for them?"
"Yeah, sleep" Geo laid back down and tried to fall back asleep.
"I swear you two act like a couple when you're not even trying" Geo's eyes snapped open and he sat up to see Keith standing there.
"Oh, it's you" he closed his eyes "I hope I'm dreaming again, because I'm pretty sure this is a nightmare" Geo sighed.
"Feelings mutual, dipwad" Keith whispered that last part under his breath.
"Heard that; try coming up with something that'll do more damage next time Red-Eyes" Geo retorted.
"The chaperones better come by soon" Michael said under his breath.
"Why? This is better then cable" Toby laughed.
Seth and Rosie looked over the remaining kids and then the papers they had in their hands.
"So, why are we taking so long to find the people we're chaperoning?" Rosie asked out loud.
"We could ask around, but we're not doing that for some reason" Seth looked at her for a brief moment. "Who do you have in your group?"
"Well, I have someone named Mabeline Isabellis, and my only question is who would name their child that"
"Says the girl named Rosie Richmond" Seth laughed.
Rosie smacked him in the arm.
"Anyways, I have two more people, one named Monica Westley and some girl named Jackie Smith"
"Okay, well, I have three guys, one named Geonardo Westley…*sigh* seriously, what is it with these names. Anyway, I also have someone named Max Xavier-Leon and Keith Sheffield"
"Keith Sheffield, Jackie Smith?" someone spoke up. The two looked up and saw a boy standing in front of them.
"Yeah, are you Keith?" Seth asked. "No, the guys a jerk anyway" he whispered that last part under his breath, "Keith's over there by that guy who's sleeping and Jackie is that girl reading a book by herself" the boy pointed them out.
"Thanks" Rosie waved and the two went on their way.
"I just hope things don't turn out too bad" the boy sighed before he walked off.
The two walked towards the small group, taking care not to disturb others around them. They finally reached the group.
"Excuse me" the group turned to face them, minus the one who was laying on the luggage.
"Is one of you named Keith Sheffield" the one with red eyes nodded.
"What do you want?" Keith asked.
"Okay, that's one down, now do you know where a "Max Xavier-Leon" is?" Max walked up.
"You rang sir" he spoke in a faux proper accent.
"That's two, okay, you guys are with me" Seth told them.
"So I'm guessing she's the third member in our group" Keith looked at Rosie in a way that quickly made her uncomfortable.
"She's a chaperone Red Eyes" the boy laying on the luggage sat up.
"Shove it West, you don't know that!" Keith got mad.
"She's holding a paper that appears to have the same formation of data as the one held by Seth" "West" pointed at the paper Rosie was holding.
"Wait… your last name is West?" Seth asked.
"Yup, I'm the one and only Geo West" Geo sat up.
"Oh, it's you" Rosie smiled.
"I'm guessing your full name is Geonardo?" Seth asked.
"As much as I'd like to disagree, it is" Geo sighed.
"Alright, so that's all three of mine" Seth put his list in his pocket.
Rosie looked at the small group. "Anyone know where a Monica Westley is?" Michael pointed in one direction, towards a girl who was talking with a boy.
"Okay, and we'll get them later, because they're right over there… who is Mabeline?"
"Mabeline? That's me" May raised her hand.
"Oh, May, I didn't know that was your full name" Rosie said.
"Could someone please explain how you guys know each other?" Toby said out loud.
"We've all met before, but the circumstances for the meeting were a bit complicated" Geo admitted.
"Still makes no sense" Michael said for his brother.
"Just get over it" Seth sighed.
Meanwhile, there was a boat that was going across the ocean, and Eon and Duna were on it, both near the railing and looking over the ocean.
"Well, we're back already" Eon commented.
"Yeah, but the others will never believe what we found" Duna confirmed.
"It's unbelievable, right?"
The two spun to the side and saw a man leaning against the railing as well. He had a blue and gold jacket with some kind of emblem on the back. Under that was a white shirt and he was wearing a pair of black pants. On his waist was a gold belt with a drill emblem on it. On his forehead was a pair of goggles.
"I'm sorry?" Duna asked. The man turned towards them, showing he had an earpiece in the ear that wasn't towards them.
"Hold on for a moment" the man spoke into his earpiece before taking it out of his ear. "Did you guys say something?"
"Oh, sorry, I thought you were talking to us" Eon awkwardly nodded before he grabbed Duna and walked away.
The man chuckled and put his earpiece back in. "Well, I guess that happened" he spoke into it.
"Simon, you can't really blame them for saying something like that when they're conversation is kind of connected to what you were saying" a female voice spoke from his earpiece.
"Come on Nia, lighten up, we have to find Hikaru and the others, I'm sure they're here, they're always in the same world we end up going to" Simon put his hands down onto the railing and looked over the ocean.
-Later-
[May's P.O.V.]
Our group ended up in a hotel room that was in a complete separate wing of the others.
That wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have Allyson as a next door neighbor.
We constantly had to here her complain over and over again.
"There's no reception here!" she complained through the wall.
"You could actually look for the Wi-Fi password, it is right there" Sissi's voice spoke up.
"You could stop being a spoiled brat!" Allyson retorted.
"You know, at least MY personality is improving from bad to okay! You're just evil!" And with that, Sissi stalked out of the room and slammed the door when she did.
"Well, she's bearable at least" Monica shrugged.
"Not much though" Jackie confirmed.
Picking up my headphones, I placed them in my ears and started playing some music.
Looking out the window, I caught a brief glimpse of a guy on a bike with a sidecar before I passed out.
Vision:
The boy driving the bike took out a smart phone and card before inserting said card into smart phone. His companion, an older man, took out a larger object that also resembled a phone and a card.
Upload! Belt!
A silver belt appeared around the boy's waist and he slid the phone in just as he caught a large object flying by, revealing it to be a shield. The man held the card out as he brought the phone close to his face.
"Henshin!"
The boy got a card from a holder on the left side of his belt and pushed a button on the phone, causing a slot to pop up. He slid the card in and closed the slot. The man simply took his card and slid it through a slot on the bottom of his phone.
Change-Cyclone Card!
Earth Element!
The shield in the boy's hand flew forwards before impacting onto his chest. Wires covered him along with several wind currents, creating a suit.
Meanwhile, the man threw his hand holding the phone forward, causing a virtual drill to shoot forward and circle around him before finally stopping by impacting his head.
The boy now had a dark blue suit that had a large chest plate and several gold and cyan armor pieces.
The man now had a black suit with yellow armor and his helmet was based off a drill with what appeared to be "eyes" on the front.
End Vision
My eyes snapped open and I looked around, noticing how Monica and Jackie hadn't even noticed what had just happened.
Looking back out the window, I saw that the three people who were on the bike had gotten off, and were looking around, as if lost. Well, two of them were, the last one was staring straight through the window towards me. As soon as I blinked, he wasn't looking at me, but at the girl of the three.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
The boy in question, Hikaru, took out his phone and scrolled through some pages on a web browser.
"So, the hotel's right there, what now?" Gimmy asked.
"Well, Kabuto and X-Omega should be in there, but as of right now, I have no idea where they are."
"Well, why are we here in the first place? You haven't really been clear on the mission yet" Darry told him.
"I don't really understand it either, the only relevant thing that I've been told to do by A-I-R is find the other Riders and help them because of some threat is coming, but this one is apparently huge, as it affects all the worlds" Hikaru told the two of them.
"What could it be?" Darry asked.
"I've no idea" Hikaru looked up.
Meanwhile, in a large cavern, there were several stone structures that looked to be designed after monsters and machines.
A figure suddenly jumped down from a large hole that was above it.
"Okay, it's time to do this… because they'll never see it coming" the figure pulled out a small crystal-like object with a pair of tongs and bringing it to one of the machines, placed it on top.
"Now, how do I use this?" the figure looked over it.
He tapped it with the tongs tentatively, as if it would explode at any minute.
"How pathetic" the figure's head snapped up and he looked forward, seeing two people, a male and a female with a strange belt each. The one who spoke up was female.
"Who are you!" the figure pulled out a gun and pointed it at them.
"Who we are doesn't matter, what matters is that we get OUR mission done, even if we have to help you" the male spoke up.
The female walked towards the machine, pulling out a small lock that was violet on the back and orange on the front with a code L.S.-MIX.
"Henshin"
Fruit Duo!
Above her head, a round(ish) object that was colored white and silver appeared from a portal appeared to be made from a zipper. She placed the lock onto a slot on her belt and locked it in.
Lock On!
A song started up before she hit the blade on the belt.
Count Zero!
The object fell onto her shoulders, creating a white suit and the large object folded down, creating armor.
Fruit Duo Arms: Orange! Dragonfruit! Mix Up!
The armor finished forming, and the person walked over to the machine putting her hands over the crystal and hitting the blade on her belt three times.
"Use the power of the Samurai and the Dragon"
Count Zero! Fruit Duo Sparking!
Her arms were covered in orange and magenta energy and covered the gem, and soon spread to the rest of the stones.
The person walked to her friend and closed the lock on her belt, causing her suit to dissolve.
"Who are you two, why did you help me?" the figure asked.
"We didn't help you" the male of the two snarled "we have our own mission and you have yours, the only reason we're doing this is because it'll be easier to complete ours if we helped you"
"By the way, you may want to move, they're not going to be happy when they start to move again" the girl spoke for the last time when a small portal appeared in front of them and they walked into it.
The figure looked at the area where they were and walked over to it, being cautious before he turned around and saw those who were previously in stone were not anymore… and was suddenly punched in the face.
"YOU COWARD!"
"I think it's safe to say Entros is upset." Xenus commented.
"We have no time to worry about petty things like this, we should be more concerned on starting our plan, especially with the help of this" Ultamus looked at the crystal object in front of him.
-Later That Evening-
Seth, Geo, Max, and Keith sat at the Cyberspace, getting breakfast.
"I don't understand, why are we at this junk heap?" Keith complained.
"You may not like it, but this is a good place to go to, the foods good, it's nice to be in, there's good technological… stuff, and the management are good people…" Seth paused and the four of them watched as Kasey threw out a patron for bothering another one repeatedly "…well, most of the time"
"Hmph, while it doesn't look like a good place, you've proven Keith wrong, and the technological "stuff" has me hooked, so I'll take it" Geo smirked.
"But why did we have to get a seat at the couch and the chairs around it?" Max sighed.
The way they were sitting was that Geo and Seth had to sit at the couch while Max and Keith got the nearby chairs.
"At least we have a TV" Seth picked up the remote and turned the TV on before changing the channel.
The four ate their food for a while, not appearing to notice there were around four people watching them.
"Hikaru, why are we here just to watch them?" Gimmy asked.
"As much as you don't like it, we have to watch over them, as they are now, they're not strong enough to take on the nearest threat and defeat it." Hikaru confirmed, eating a piece of his cheeseburger.
"Why not, they seem strong enough on their own." Simon, having joined with the group earlier, questioned.
"Well, the Kabuto guy seems like he has a strong appetite" Darry deadpanned after seeing Seth tear into his chicken like a wild animal.
"I can tell you guys about a few people who would be jealous over how he ate" Simon told them.
Hikaru shook his head when all of a sudden; a voice spoke up from his earpiece.
"Hikaru, I'm detecting several strange traces of energy coming from outside the establishment!" A robotic voice spoke.
"What? What kind of energy?" Hikaru put his hand to his earpiece and spoke into it.
All of a sudden, the window exploded, glass flying all over.
Everyone looked towards the source to see several robots and humanoid fossils jump through, going after Max, Seth and Geo, lifting them up and jumping back through the window.
"You've got to be kidding me" Hikaru commented as the four of them got up and looked out the window.
Max, Seth and Geo were dragged outside and thrown onto the ground, some of their friends being thrown near them.
"Rosie, Holt, Dyllon! You guys okay?" Seth asked.
"May, Monica, Jack!" Geo looked at his friends.
"Yeah, we're not too damaged" Rosie said.
Several robots came in, dragging more of their friends and allies.
"Let me go you bucket of bolts!" Eon and Duna were thrown into the center.
"What's going on?" Aelita and Odd soon followed.
"Could someone please explain what's happening?!" Geo shouted.
"Allow me to do so, West" the robots parted and everyone turned to see Zander walk up.
"Zander!" Geo growled "why must you ruin everything good for me?!"
"Fact is, we're not happy you ruined our plans last month, and we want payback" Zander shrugged.
"What would you want from us for payback?" Max asked.
"No matter what you do, we will stop you!" Eon added.
"Oh really? You can stop me, but not your own friends" Zander snapped his fingers and all of a sudden, Monica and Duna stood up, their pupils turning violet and they stood by Zander.
Then, Zander lifted up Seth by his throat and placed his hand on Seth's chest before releasing a pulse of dark energy. Seth fell to the ground and began to roll in pain before he sat up and screamed in pain as pink and black energy covered him, and he changed into the Mix Destructor.
"Seth!" Rosie cried.
"Tch! This isn't looking good for them, Hikaru" Simon told him.
"Agreed" Hikaru said.
"What do we do?" Darry asked.
"What we always do… we fight" Hikaru said.
The other three nodded and pulled out separate items. Simon pulled out what resembled a phone while Gimmy pulled out an item resembling a gun. Darry pulled out a triangle-shaped weapon and Hikaru pulled out a smart-phone.
Hikaru took out a card and inserted into a slot on the bottom. Simon simply pulled a card out of his pocket.
Upload! Belt!
A silver belt appeared around Hikaru's waist and he slid the phone in just as he caught a large object flying by, revealing it to be a shield. Simon held the card out as he brought the phone close to his face.
"Henshin!"
Hikaru got a card from a holder on the left side of his belt and pushed a button on the phone, causing a slot to pop up. He slid the card in and closed the slot. Simon simply took his card and slid it through a slot on the bottom of his phone.
Change-Cyclone Card!
Earth Element!
The shield in Hikaru's hand flew forwards before impacting onto his chest. Wires covered him along with several wind currents, creating a suit.
Meanwhile, Simon threw his hand holding the phone forward, causing a virtual drill to shoot forward and circle around him before finally stopping by impacting his head.
Hikaru now had a dark blue suit that had a large chest plate and several gold and cyan armor pieces.
Simon now had a black suit with yellow armor and his helmet was based off a drill with what appeared to be "eyes" on the front.
"Saa, let's raise up a Storm!"
"Okay, time to drill to the future!"
The two of them jumped through the broken window and ran towards the group while the other two simply went through the door.
A/N …In all honesty, when I planned to write this, this scenario at the end never happened. But as I'm writing this, I realized I had no idea what to do to unfreeze the main villains. And I also remembered how at the time of writing this, I'm preparing to write a special for my other story and since I connected these three before, I did it again.
As for why I added Simon, Gimmy, Darry, Hikaru, and the two mysterious figures, they're helping to lead in to the special for my other story as well.
Also, if you're thinking about why I'm connecting it together for a crossover when I'm already doing this crossover, it's because I'm not as dedicated to writing this as when I started and starting to become more dedicated to writing my "Gaim and Dreigon" story, so by doing this, it helps to explain why the characters are there later.
I also see it as a consequence for myself as I haven't been working as hard as I should have been on this, but that's mainly because when I had a co-author, they were actually there to help with ideas, and to make sure I don't go too far with my ideas, which I'm pretty sure I'm Past the Point of No Return by now… if you got that joke, you are amazing!
