Chapter 9: Darkness Ending
A/N I'm sorry this is rushed towards the end, and this may be some of my worst work in my eyes, but I wanted to hurry it up and post it before the deadline I set myself up for, so I have to deal with it, and if you don't like it, I'm honestly sorry.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
The two armored warriors ran in and began attacking the robots and fossils.
"Kamen Rider Storm" the warrior with the dark blue armor spoke up, striking a pose with his weight mainly on his left and his right foot bent with the ball of his foot barely touching the ground. His right hand with the index finger out was in the air before he swung it in the air above him and brought it to his chest. "Saa, let's raise up a Storm!" Storm ran at a robot and punched.
"Kamen Rider Elements!" the other one said, raising his right hand to his chest and pounding it against it two times. "Alright, let's drill towards the future!" Elements drove his knee into a robot, an energy drill appearing around his knee as it drove into the fossils skin.
"Other… Kamen Riders?" Geo was in shock.
"Oh?" Storm took one look at Geo and nodded "I see, X-Omega, I think you should hurry up and henshin, there's no telling what they're planning"
"You want me… to transform?" Geo asked.
"Yeah, what else do you think you should do?" Storm knocked away a fossil before kicking away a monster.
"But-"
"Henshin now, talk after fight!" Storm smacked Geo upside the head before taking out two cards and opening another slot on his belt, inserted both into the one slot and closed them.
Weapon-Cyclone Saber, Cyclone Shield!
The shield popped off his chest and he grabbed the sword from its sheath, pointing it forward and running at his enemies.
Geo looked down at the ground before he looked up and nodded, placing the two gems on his gloves into the slots on his belt.
Access, Geo inserted the buckle into the center of the belt. Insert.
Crossing his arms in front of him in an X formation, he sighed. "Henshin" he spun the disc on his belt.
Energize!
His suit quickly formed and he began fighting the robots and fossils alongside Storm and Elements.
"Now can someone explain what is going on?" X-Omega asked, while fighting.
"These guys are here to come after you because they stopped their plan last time, so now they want to get payback and they're not going to stop here!"
"How do you know this?" May got up and took off her belt buckle, preparing to transform.
"There's a simple explanation for that-" Storm was about to speak when the Mix Destructor tackled him.
The Mix Destructor sat on Storm and started to use its fist to hit Storm repeatedly before it was blasted off.
"Can you do anything without us?" Darry asked as she ran in with Gimmy, both of them holding their guns.
"Yes, but unbelievably I never get the chance to" Storm told her.
"You guys go ahead, we'll take it from here" Simon told them.
"Go where, we still have no idea what's happening!" Jack shouted.
"Just go to wherever your main base is, we'll meet you there!"
"But how do you know where out base is?" Rosie shouted.
"Spoilers!" Darry giggled.
The others shook their heads and the entire group, minus the four who were already fighting.
"So, we just keep fighting?" Elements asked.
"Do you even have to ask?" Storm retorted.
The group entered the base and started to relax, thinking they were safe.
"So what now, why were Monica and Duna acting that way? And why did those monsters attack us?" Holt shouted.
"And why did Seth change back!" Rosie asked as well.
"You act as if I know" X-Omega took off his helmet.
"You're supposed to be this huge genius who can learn anything and you can't figure out something as simple as this!" Holt got in Geo's face.
"That's just the thing, it's not as simple as you think. We know that Zander has something to do with it, but we don't know how he did it. And for Seth, you would have to assume that Zander simply reset his DNA and changed him back."
"Reset his DNA? What are you talking about?" Dyllon asked.
"The transformation where Seth changed into a Destructor is permanent, as in he is a Destructor now, but he can change back in forth between human and Destructor" Geo told them.
"That's not possible though, you changed him back!" Rosie shouted.
"No, the thing is, I have powers of creation, and I simply used them to be able to help Seth get the ability to change between his human form and Destructor form, the resulting factors that happened cannot be blamed on me" Geo denied.
"You caused it and you expect to be some kind of hero, but you won't take blame for what you did!" Holt shoved Geo.
"You know, from what Seth told me, I was under the impression you didn't want to be around him, as you're afraid of his Destructor form" Geo shoved Holt away from him. "And besides, I cured Seth of his ailment with a temporary solution, Zander managed to overwrite it with the animalistic behavior that has been plaguing Seth"
"Animalistic behavior?" May spoke up.
"You guys didn't notice how he ate the chicken like it was his last meal? As much as I don't want to admit it, Seth suffered from the fact that he had to absorb Evolutionary Energy to survive, like the rest of the Destructors, and so his Destructor personality showed through by making him seem as though he would never eat again when eating, as if the meal would help him" Geo sat down in a chair.
"And you expect us to believe that you're correct on this?" Eon asked him.
"It's the only theory we have, and the only logical one that would even make sense, so we have to at least accept it, even if we don't want to" Aelita spoke up.
"Wait, were they with us the whole time?" Max pointed to Odd and Aelita.
"Yeah, we helped out during that battle too" Odd said.
"No, we need to focus!" Rosie said "we have to help our friends and figure out what's going on!"
"That reminds me, what did you guys find out about Folse's condition" Holt asked Eon.
"That's the thing, I don't remember what it is, Duna does because she was the only one who could understand what we found"
"Do you at least have anything close to information?" Rosie asked.
"No, I left everything with Duna because I thought it would be safer" Eon said. Geo adjusted himself and accidentally hit a button, switching the view of the camera on screen.
"Well whatever it is you found, you'll have to remember fast" Geo looked at the screen to see some kind of sensor.
"What is that?" May asked.
"That's the largest source of energy that can be found in this area, and it's coming from where we faced off against our enemies last month"
"Do you think they're starting up their plan to turn humans into Destructors again?" Rosie asked.
"That's the only solution and guess that we have, so we'll have to assume that it's correct until a better solution comes up" Geo told them.
"Hang on, you just expect us to go into battle just like that? We were just dragged into this and you think we'll go along with you like your some kind of king to us? Who do you think you are!" Holt asked.
"I'm not your king, just your ally, and besides, we were dragged into this as well. However the only difference between our two groups is that you guys are Fossil Rangers, so you're expected to be ready for anything" Geo picked up his helmet and dusted it off before preparing to place it on his head, but stopped. "And to answer your question, my name is Geo West, and even if I don't believe it myself, I'm Kamen Rider X-Omega"
"Kamen Rider?" Aelita spoke up.
"Someone who fights for the protection of others, no matter the cost, and no matter what I have to do" Geo put the helmet to his side and simply walked out of the building, putting it on when he did.
He waved as he walked out the door. May looked over the people around her and sighed before running after him.
"Okay, that's the last of them"
Storm and Elements looked around, making sure there were none left. Storm reached to his belt and opened the slots before taking the cards out. Elements took out his cell phone-like device and hit a button at the top of it. The Cyclone Shield and Saber reconstructed to form the base mode and connected to his chest, the wires deconstructing as they went back into the shield. The drill disconnected from Elements head and the line split from him, going into the drill.
The two Riders changed back into Simon and Hikaru, who pocketed their respective devices.
"That's it, you guys, there's no more around here I think" Darry and Gimmy walked up.
Gimmy nodded and pocketed his gun. "We should go look for the others"
"They left somewhere around that way" Darry pointed.
"Alright, let's get to work"
The four of them ran in one direction, looking around for the two broken teams.
Unbeknownst to them, two people walked after them slowly.
"It's unfortunate Storm's mission is to interfere with ours, because I would have preferred him to come without a fight" the female of the two said.
"Even if we have to fight, I'll still crush them like the insects they are" cockily, the male put his fist into his hand.
[Rosie's P.O.V.]
"Not again" I whisper.
"What do you mean by not again?" Max spoke to me, catching everyone's attention.
"Everyone is starting to fight again, just like last time. It was because of this reason that we're all starting to lose our teammates"
"Don't be so naïve Rosie" Holt said.
"What do you mean?" Aelita asked.
"We're all different people with conflicting lives and habits, we were bound to start splitting soon enough" Dyllon confirmed.
"You guys can't be serious, those attitudes are part of the reason we haven't won this battle yet! Because you can't accept that fact, then we're all doomed!" Eon shouted.
"Shut it Eon, you'd actually agree with us if it wasn't for the fact that your girlfriend is taken over"
Eon responded by punching Holt in the face.
This escalated to a fight. It started by Holt stumbling back and tackling Eon into a computer. Eon retaliated by pushing Holt away and punching him in again, but this time in the neck. Holt grabbed the fist before he could move away and brought Eon close and grabbed the back of his head before slamming it into a keyboard repeatedly before he was dragged back from Eon by Dyllon. Eon was grabbed by Odd, who gave him a bandage which he held to his now-bleeding nose.
"This fighting isn't going to help anyone"
"If it'll get you guys off my back I'll do it again!" Holt fought back against Dyllon's grip.
"Holt!" I can't help myself, I break Dyllon's grip on Holt and slap him, much to his surprise.
"Rosie-"
"Enough! Okay, we get it, you're going through trouble dealing with Seth and things happening, we get that, but you have no justification to treat us like we don't belong and that we're less important then your problems!" I scream at him, and I feel tears beginning to leak out of my eyes.
"Listen, I-"
"No, for once, you are going to listen to what we have to say!" Holt started backing away "If you honestly believe that we're going to sit here and allow you to treat us like we're not worth your time and that we're not going to be able to do what we are supposed to do because of what's happening, then I will not hesitate to hit you again!" I cried.
Panting because of the strain to my voice, I finally look around and notice everyone was looking at me. Max was even doing a slow clap.
"I'm not dealing with this drama" I start to walk towards the door "not when there's an entire island of people to save" I walk out the door and pull out my phone, about to call May.
"Hey! Wait for me!" I don't believe it, it's Eon.
"Eon, what do you want?" I ask.
"I'm coming with you, Duna is my girlfriend and I'm not just going to let her go like that"
"Well I'm glad you think that but… wait, did you just say she was your girlfriend?"
"Oh, I forgot to mention that part earlier"
"How long has that been happening?!"
"Since about a week ago- don't even think about it!" he snapped.
"What! I wasn't going to do anything!" I protest
"Sorry, couldn't help myself"
[Third Person P.O.V.]
"Geo, where are we going?" May asked.
"To where the machine was last time, I doubt the Destructors would have a chance to move it on such short notice."
"So what's the plan?"
Geo stopped. "In hindsight, that would have been a good idea to come up with one"
"And you wonder why people don't take you serious as often as they should" May planted her face in her palm.
"Can we help?" the two of them turned around and saw Rosie and Eon walking up to them.
"Why is it that people keep suddenly appearing like that all of the freaking time?!" Geo declared.
"I don't know, it just seems to happen a lot" Eon said.
"So why are you guys here?" May asked.
"Everyone else is staying behind, so we're here to help" Rosie told them.
"So it's just the four of us against an entire army, great, just great" Geo sighed.
"Hey, before Duna, Dyllon, and Eon showed up, Holt, Seth and I were the only Fossil Rangers that existed besides Folse, and we did perfectly fine."
"Okay, so we just charge in? We do need a plan, are you guys willing to contribute?" Geo changed the subject.
"Depends on what skills you have for us to deal with" Rosie bargained.
"Master, the system is almost complete" Entros told Ultamus.
"Good, now we're almost clear to do what we must at last" Xenus commented.
"Okay" Zander spoke up "can you guys untie me now?"
"Silence worm!" Entros kicked him.
"That's enough Entros, let him go"
"What?! But master, he abandoned us!"
"And came back with this powerful jewel, now let him go!" Ultamus gestured to the crystal before shouting at his subordinate.
Entros growled before cutting through the ropes and letting Zander go.
"Good, so the plan now is just to stop the group when they come in?"
"Yes, the sensors show they're coming soon, and it will be our turn to strike this time"
Monica and Duna stood on standby and Zander walked over to the two of them. "So what do we do with these two?"
"Leave them as bait, and prepare yourself for the upcoming battle" Ultamus commanded.
Zander nodded and got ready.
Geo, May, Rosie, and Eon reached the hole in the ground and looked into it, seeing nothing in there.
"Well, this'll be easy" Eon was about to jump in when Geo stopped him.
"No, it should be filled to the brim with minions, but its not, so be cautious" he advised.
Carefully, the four of them entered and moved around in the shadows.
"So we just destroy the machine?" Eon whispered.
"Seems about accurate to the original plan" Geo whispered back.
Reaching the machine, the four of them got behind the controls and looked around. "What kind of tech is this" May questioned.
"I doubt even I could figure all of this out" Geo said.
Rosie kept watch, carefully looking over everything before seeing two figures.
"Guys, who is that?" Rosie asked.
Everyone looked to them and saw two figures who were walking towards them.
Somehow, Geo recognized one of them in the dark.
"Monica?" he ran from the machine towards his step-sister. However, she held her hand out and telekinetically held them all back.
"Not one step further, Geo" Monica's voice was emotionless.
"Monica- " she blasted him back into the machine.
"Well, safe to say the control on her is stronger then we thought" Geo stood up and placed his helmet on, turning into X-Omega.
X-Omega activated a key.
Key #02: Sword, Engaged!
The sword appeared in his hand.
"Wait!" Eon stopped him.
"You can't seriously be about to fight them are you?"
"Why not? This may be the only way to knock them out of mind control" Geo shoved Eon out of the way.
"But what if it's not, okay? What if you kill them?"
"Doubt that, if I know Monica then there's no way shed let me kill her like that" Geo ran at the two.
Wordlessly, Duna took out her morpher and changed into Ranger form, blocking X-Omega's sword with her claws.
She shoved him back before swinging her arm around, just missing as he jumped back and slashed overhead, causing her to block. She kicked forward and caught him in the gut before she slashed across his chest.
"Geo, come on, fight back!" May shouted.
"They're under mind control; you say it like I want to hurt them!" X-Omega called back.
"Well what do you suggest you should do then?" Rosie said.
X-Omega looked around, looking for anything to give him an advantage when he saw movement in the corner of his eye. Realization hit him like a truck.
"It's a trap!" X-Omega announced when lasers shot from the shadows and impacted X-Omega, sending him to the ground.
"Geo!" May tried to go to him but was blocked by several robots and Foneys.
Rosie looked on in shock when both she and Eon were sent away from the machine by several robots.
"You've got to be joking" Eon hissed.
"It was quite obvious in hindsight, after all, we never did really check to make sure we were the only ones in this general area, we just jumped right in" X-Omega calmly spoke.
"So, a family of rats have entered our nest have they" Entros, Xenus, and Ultamus entered the scene.
Back at the base, Holt started to grit his teeth at seeing his allies being tricked.
"What do we do, we can't handle all of those at once" Max said.
"Maybe if we work together we can" Aelita suggested.
"Still, the robots are tougher then what we've previously went up against. If anything we can handle a few, but not all of them, especially if they're teamed up with Foneys"
"So we're just going to sit here and watch this happen?" Holt seethed.
"It's all we can do-" Odd was interrupted by Holt punching him in the face.
"I don't care, I'm helping!" he ran out of the building.
"Hey! Hang on!" Max and Jack followed.
"I don't understand, how it this possible, why are you revealing yourselves to us now?!" X-Omega shouted. Entros snapped his fingers and the Mix Destructor entered before punching X-Omega in the head, sending him to his side.
"Shut up worm!" Entros laughed.
"Now, it is time" Ultamus headed over to the machine and started to activate it. "The age of the humans will end, and the new age of the dinosaurs shall begin!"
"How fitting, you all met because of your Red Ranger friend, and now you will all die due to him!" Entros started to laugh.
"Earth Crushers!"
Holt jumped in and punched Entros in the face. Dirt swirled around his foot before he swung and kicked Entros in the stomach. However, Entros retaliated by slamming his fist into Holt's nose, breaking it again before he shoved him away.
Holt fell to the ground and looked up, trying to see what was happening.
"The yellow one? No matter, you'll simply perish with the rest!" Entros began laughing hysterically…
…then the Mix Destructor punched him and sent him away with a backhand.
"What the-!" X-Omega was interrupted when a cocoon of red and bright energy formed around the Mix Destructor and it disappeared after a few seconds, revealing it had changed back into Seth.
"Seth, how-?" Holt started
"I've been able to do that the entire time but I had to wait until the right moment to start"
"But that's not possible, the change is irreversible!" Xenus shouted in disbelief.
"When Geo changed me back last month, I discovered not even a week later that I could do this. Geo didn't change me back into a human, he gave me the ability to switch back and forth!"
Rosie gave X-Omega a sudden glare and he looked back at her, actually feeling her glare through the "eyes" on his helmet. "Whoops" he shrugged.
"Anyways!" Seth snapped, getting their attention. "It's time we paid you guys back for the crap you've put us through"
The other four nodded and stood besides him.
"Hey, Seth" Seth turned to Holt. "I'm… sorry for how I've treated you in the past month. I guess I've been a bit stressed that we're all still doomed and I was afraid that since you transformed like that that it would happen to me"
Seth looked at Holt before he slapped him.
"Cut the sappy crap Holt, we're allies and fighting to save the world, all you had to say was sorry, not given me an explanation."
"Well, you've changed" Holt sighed.
"Got that right" Seth laughed before he stopped and Seth, Rosie, and Holt drew their morphers before they grabbed their chips from their watches (memorizers).
May took the buckles off her belt.
"Seth, I have a better idea for your transformation call" X-Omega turned to Seth.
"What do you mean?" Seth asked.
"I've looked over your transformation calls, and I think it would do best if you guys announced "Ranger Power" when together in order to make it seem like you're more of a team"
"I don't really think it would work that well" Holt spoke up.
X-Omega turned to him. "Oh well"
Holt just shook his head and got ready.
The three of them inserted the chips into their morphers and got ready.
Eon nodded and took out his key before inserting it into his morpher.
"VivoFighters: Ranger Power!"
"DinoMorph Power: Go!"
May drew her respective symbols.
A ball of bright energy emerged around them and soon dissipated, revealing they were suited up.
"Let's go!"
The group charged the robots and began fighting.
Meanwhile, Simon, Darry, Gimmy, and Hikaru walked in one direction, looking around.
"Where did they go? It shouldn't have been too far away"
"You never know, maybe it's some kind of base or something that they went to" Hikaru said thoughtfully.
"Really, how interesting"
"Glad you think so Gimmy" Hikaru said.
"Hikaru, that wasn't me" Gimmy said, causing the group to stop.
Behind them were two people, the people from before who were following them. "Who are you two?" Simon asked.
"Our names don't matter, what matters is-" "his names Wilson and I'm Aqua" the girl interrupted.
"Aqua!" Wilson whined.
"You're not going to get your way this time" Aqua said. "Aqua, loosen up, it's our mission to do what we have to, and you're not getting in my way!" Wilson pulled out something before placing it on his waist, a gold belt forming around him.
He pulled out a lock and clicked it open.
Blood Dragonfruit!
Placing it on her belt, he locked it in before he immediately sliced it open with the blade on the side.
Lock On! Down Fall!
"Henshin!"
Blood Dragonfruit Arms: Awaken! Destructive Dragon!
A portal opened above him and an object fell onto his head, forming a suit before it folded down, a blood red staff appearing in his hands.
"A Rider?" Darry said.
"I am Bujin Dreigon"
"Dreigon?!" Hikaru was surprised.
"We don't have time for this" Gimmy said.
"Okay, then you guys go ahead and, I'll take it from here" Simon took out his phone and slid the card through it.
"Henshin" he ran forward as his Elements suit formed and he started to fight Bujin Dreigon.
"Simon" Hikaru said.
"Come on, let's go!" Darry said.
Hikaru nodded and the three of them ran off.
"You're not escaping!" Aqua ran after them.
Seth punched forward, hitting a robot before he ducked and Rosie jumped over the kicked it in the face. Seth spun around and slammed one of his spikes into the gut of a Foney before Rosie swung her fist around and caught it across the face.
"Well, I think we're back for to normal" Seth commented.
Rosie nodded. The two of them drew their weapons and turned them to sword mode.
The two of them began using their weapons to slash at their enemies before Seth rolled backwards and Rosie held her arm out, the ground under them quaking before it exploded, water covering the robots and short-circuiting them, the electricity going over all of the minions.
"Well, it's like they're getting easier to fight" Seth commented.
"Doesn't mean it'll still get easier for the rest of us"
All of a sudden, Duna jumped in and began fighting them. She stabbed forward with her claws, missing when Seth dodged and slashed with his sword. Duna caught the sword before she swung around it and buried her foot into Seth's neck.
Seth fell back and Duna punched forward, sticking her claws into Rosie's stomach before she dragged them outwards, slashing across her stomach.
"Guys!" X-Omega ran towards them, but was immediately stopped by Monica, who froze him with telekinesis.
"Monica, stop!" X-Omega demanded.
"You honestly think 'stop' will work?" Monica pushed him back before she grabbed his sword and slashed him across the chest with it.
X-Omega had backed up before she picked him up and threw him into the wall. X-Omega fell to the ground and struggled to get up.
"It's no use, you'll still fall to us, no matter how many times you get up" Monica started to walk towards him and got within arms reach.
"If so… a chance!" X-Omega reached up and grabbed her wrist. His hand started to glow and green energy began to travel from his hand to her arm. The energy traveled across her body before it traveled to her eyes and they rolled back and she collapsed.
"Well, that was easier then expected." X-Omega got up and picked up his sword.
"Geo?" Monica's eyes opened fully and she sat up.
"What's going on?" she asked.
"There's not really any time for this right now, I think it would be best if you just transformed and we got to work." Monica nodded but stopped, hang on, if we're getting ready then why is everyone still coming?"
"Wait what?"
He was answered by several people jumping into the fight and helping out.
"Guys, you came!" X-Omega shouted.
"We had to help somehow" Aelita smiled.
"We were following Dyllon anyways"
Seth and Rosie fell backwards from Duna's attack. Seth got up and changed his sword into the SpinAxle before running at her. He swung it with all of his might in a circle, but she dodged by ducking and then she punched him in the stomach before standing up and round kicking him away.
"How is this so easy for Geo?" Rosie asked.
"Because, Geo has his own way to save her, something about telekinesis, something we don't have. Also, Jack would actually NOT manage to kill Geo for harming Monica" Seth responded caustically.
A sudden black blur flew in and slashed at Duna, catching her multiple times before it rested near the two Rangers.
"Dyllon" Seth responded.
"Surprised? I know I am" Dyllon ran at Duna and they started clashing weapons.
"Duna, when we first started out like this, was it always going to end this way?" Dyllon asked.
"I don't know what you mean!" Duna knocked him back.
"We started as allies, and now you're attempting to end it as enemies, when we both know you would make a horrible villain" Dyllon taunted.
"Shut up!" Duna punched him and knocked him back.
"Something's not right" Seth whispered.
"What do you mean?" Rosie asked.
"Why would Duna just change like that, you told me once how she never really changed when she started using Boost Armor, so she is apparently less susceptible to mind control and such, yet she was easily put under mind control by Zander" Seth explained.
"You're right, but why would she allow us to come here if she wasn't under mind control, that's the only flaw I see"
"Maybe because it was part of a plan?"
Both of them turned to see Duna holding Dyllon by the neck before she tossed him aside.
"Maybe I wanted to get on the inside so I could figure out a plan and attribute it to what we learned while traveling the world" Duna shrugged.
"Wait, you were faking the whole time!" Seth shouted.
"You could have asked Eon, he would have told you"
"That subject never came up!" Eon defended from an attack as he shouted back to the four.
"So what now! What did you learn that would allow you to save Folse and come up with a reckless plan like this!" Holt demanded from his point.
"Because, Seth is the only one of us capable of doing anything to the machine, and I hate to say this as a patron of science but prophecies we found foretold of our coming"
"Prophecies? You mean a foretelling that is often crap?" Dyllon spoke up.
"Well this one seems likely to work, and we managed to create something for this very case" Duna walked over to Seth and dropped a medal into his hand.
"What is this?"
"The Mix Medal" Duna blocked a slash from a robot before retaliating.
"Alright, I guess I don't have a choice" Seth took out his morpher and opened it, folding the panel on the inside back so he could insert the chip and he closed the panel before typing in a three digit code: 6-4-9.
As soon as he entered the code, five lights emerged from the center of the screen and circled around the five Core Rangers before entering them.
Seth looked down and saw his buckle glowing and he opened it before pulling out his Spinax and ShanShan Medals, sheathing his pickaxe sword.
Rosie did the same with her Elasmo and Plesio, Holt with his Pachy and Acro, Dyllon with his Jara and Amargo, and Duna with her Dinarian and DinoMaton all of them sheathing their weapons.
"What is this?" Rosie asked, investigating the glow.
"The Mix medal allows for a boost of power, much like the Boost Armor" Duna explained.
"Are you sure it will work?" Dyllon asked.
"Do you have a better option?" Holt deadpanned.
Dyllon shook his head and the five of them entered in a line with Eon behind them, fighting the enemies that tried to attack them.
"Okay, hope this works!"
The five of them opened their morphers and slotted their respective chips into them.
They then opened the stand on their sheathed weapons and inserted their secondary chips. They drew their pickaxes, careful as to not drop their chips.
Then all of a sudden, they slammed the tip of their morphers into the stand, closing it and causing a glow to emanate.
"Cross Ranger Form, Engage!" Seth shouted unexpectedly.
Armor formed on their chests, similar to that of the Boost Armor, the only difference being that their suits gained a small bit of golden highlights, and their helmets upgraded, gaining items respective to their signature monsters and gold mouth plates. Their visors changed to match the color of their suit. The helmets on their chests changed to resemble both of the Vivosaurs they used. Their suits gained items that were akin to both of the Vivosaurs they used as well.
"Impressive, you seem to have surpassed us yet again, but I won't stand for it" X-Omega taunted as the rest of them gathered near the Rangers.
Seth nodded and all of them faced their enemies. Aelita, Odd, Jack, and Max and to an extent Monica drew their symbols in the air and changed into their Lyoko forms.
"Mix! Power of the Air: Red Ranger!"
"Kamen Rider X-Omega, X-Guardian Form!"
"Mix! Agility of the Water: Blue Ranger!"
May entered a stance with her staff in her hands with the hammer portion towards the ground and the axe portion upwards.
"Mix! Strength of the Earth: Yellow Ranger!"
Odd held his hand forward, like he was about to take aim and fire a bullet.
"Mix! Defense of the Flames: Black Ranger!"
Jack rested his bow on his shoulder.
"Mix! Speed of Technology: Pink Ranger!"
Aelita nodded and got ready to run forward.
Eon ran up "Neutral Raptor: DinoMorph White!"
Max opened the toolbox on the side of his belt and took out an AK-47 like gun from nowhere.
Monica shook her head and held her bow ready.
"The Mix of New and Old to defeat our enemies! Fossil Rangers: VivoFighters!"
"Yeah, we're not doing that" Monica said. The other Lyoko Warriors nodded.
"I did it, can't you guys?" X-Omega asked.
"No, now shut up!" Monica said.
"Anyways, let's show them how to get it done!" Seth said. The five of the Rangers drew their pickaxes and they changed from silver and yellow to gold and black.
"Iku Ze!" X-Omega shouted and the entire group charged.
[Duna's P.O.V.]
Running forward, I slash at a robot and jump over a Foney before kicking it, causing electricity to surge through it.
Aelita is nearby and she blasts one of them with a ball of pink energy… what kind of powers do they exactly get in Lyoko?
Anyways, back to the fight; I shift my sword to gun mode and hold it in front of me before firing several energy bolts at the enemies surrounding by before taking out a single chip.
"Electric Upgrade!" I insert it into my sword and electricity surged across my sword before I slashed in a wide arc.
Aelita formed a ball of energy before firing it and t combined with the arc of energy, obliterating the crowd.
[Dyllon's P.O.V.]
I fly into the air and hold Jack as he fires several arrows. Dropping him, I take my sword and slashed downwards, catching a robot. I use my wings to spin in a circle, using the spines on my arms to strike the enemies us.
Landing on the ground, I slash upwards and impact a robot flames cover my foot and I lodge it into a stomach before I activate a chip in my sword before setting my foot down.
"Flame Sphere!"
Fire surged around me and entered the tip of my sword, causing a baseball-shaped sphere of flames to emerge. I swung Jack took aim and let loose a single energy arrow that impacted the ball and caused it to explode around our enemies.
"Hmph" I rest my sword on my shoulder.
[Holt's P.O.V.]
Taking my pickaxe I slam it into a Foney and pierce its skull before I slam my foot forward and launch it towards Odd, who shoots it and causes it to explode.
We both turn to Entros and get into a ready stance before running for him.
Slashing overhead, he blocks my attack before Odd fires at his shoulder and injures him long enough for me to take advantage of this chance by punching him and changing my pickaxe to sword mode and slamming the blade into his side before dragging it, slashing across his chest.
As he stumbled back, Odd fired multiple arrows and I inserted another chip into my sword.
"Earth Crusher!" my sword starts to fill with yellow energy and I hold it back before stabbing it into the ground and letting the energy started to surge around us. I use it as a boost and fly into the air before falling towards Entros.
Entros charges his fist up and throws it at me, a yellow beam shooting out. His let the energy surge towards my foot and kick the energy back at Entros, causing it to fly towards him. As I flew towards him, he prepared to guard when Odd fired several arrows at him, disorienting him and I punched him in the face causing him to fly back in an explosion of energy.
[Rosie's P.O.V.]
Running at Xenus, I slam my fist into her face before I draw my pickaxe and slam it into her side, piercing her armor.
May jumps in with her staff and bashes her across the head, knocking her back before she follows by slashed Xenus with the opposite end of the weapon.
I jumped up and kick Xenus in the head. Water surged around us and it impacted her before we both punched forward, catching Xenus as the surge of water flowed after it, hitting Xenus before I activated one last chip.
"Aqua Shield!"
I slot it in my pickaxe and convert it to sword mode before folding down the top pick parts. The water swirled around us, forming a dome before May jumped forward and slamming downwards with the hammer, Xenus dodged, but not before May switched sides and slashed across her stomach with her axe.
Jumping up, I slash downwards and a flow of blue energy and water flows into the sword and it crashes into Xenus who flies from the explosion.
[Seth's P.O.V.]
Geo and I watched everyone fight from our point of view before we both gathered around Ultamus.
"So, it's the final battle!" X-Omega announces.
"Let's end this!" I say. We both run at Ultamus, drawing our weapons.
X-Omega slashed overhead and I slashed downwards. However, Ultamus didn't respond as both weapons phased right through him.
He fired off a gold blast at us and we instantly stumbled back.
"Right, he's still a gas, forgot about that" I admit.
"Doesn't matter, we have to accelerate the rate of cell destruction so much that it can damage this state of matter" X-Omega said.
"What?"
"We shoot him with lasers or anything like it, anything solid won't damage him" X-Omega took out two cylinders and activated it in his belt.
Key #03, O-Shooter: Engaged!
Key #04, O Gun: Engaged!
Now in purple armor, X-Omega shot Ultamus, who actually stumbled back a little bit. Folding my weapon to gun mode, I took a chip and activated it.
"Wind Shift!'
Red energy circled around us and I fired three red bullets at him.
He responded by waving his hand and causing a wave of golden energy to go and engulf the three red bullets. Waving his hand in a circle, the three bullets turned on me and fired.
X-Omega took notice and repeated the code with a key.
"Got to finish this quick!"
Key Charge!
O Shooter: O Blast: Burst Engaged!
"O Shooting Blitz" X-Omega fires a large burst of energy that explodes and flies towards Ultamus like multiple missiles.
Ultamus turned in time to see the missiles and he held his arm out, causing the missiles to stop, but one got close enough to hit him. He didn't respond except to turn the missiles on X-Omega.
"Great, this guy can turn any attack on us!" X-Omega shouted, irritant.
"What about help, we need some!" I respond.
"Who can we call?" X-Omega got up and pointed his gun at Ultamus.
Ultamus shook his head.
"How long will it take for you to realize I cannot be defeated?" Ultamus shot him with a ball of gold energy.
"Sorry, but we'll never give up, so that'll never happen" X-Omega ran towards Ultamus again and shot him.
Ultamus caught the shots again and fired.
"Chance!" X-Omega dove forward, through the bullets and towards the console.
He fell towards me but Ultamus turned around and moved the bullets to hit X-Omega, who flew towards me.
He landed and stood up before looking right at Ultamus before looking at the item in his hands.
It was a crystal with the item inside it.
"You insolent worm!" Ultamus used the gold energy to pick up both of us before he tossed us against the wall.
X-Omega got up again and looked at the crystal before he held it up.
Blue energy surged around him and he let it go in pain before the energy flew towards Ultamus, swarming around him and injuring him.
"What is this thing?" X-Omega carefully picked it up but immediately dropped it.
I caught it on instinct.
Red lights started to glow from it and it circled around both of us before the lights vanished and revealed there was a cylinder next to the crystal, which I promptly dropped as it was burning my hands.
X-Omega picked up the cylinder and looked over it.
"What is this?" he inserted it into his belt and twisted it open before he typed in a code and closed the open section before he spun the disk.
Special Key! Red Spinax Power! Go!
A red line shot out from his belt and flew towards Ultamus, who knocked it back before it circled around X-Omega and converged onto his suit.
His suit was now red with the armor now gold. His helmet had changed so that it still had red eyes, but it was now shaped like a Spinax head.
"Whoa" X-Omega looked at his hands.
"Is that supposed to scare me?" Ultamus taunted. He threw his hand forward and he shot some energy to the two of us.
Rolling to the ground, I shoot him with my gun while X-Omega pulled out the O Gun and both of us shot Ultamus, damaging him.
"Seth, I have an idea, but you might not like it!" X-Omega yelled to me as he dodged a single energy ball.
"Do I have a better option?"
"Touché" he whispered the idea in my ear.
"You are so stupid! That idea is crazy"
I could feel him glare at me through his helmet.
"But that doesn't mean it won't work"
He nods and the two of us look at Ultamus. X-Omega ran at him and drew a bow from nowhere and fired several energy arrows at Ultamus, disorienting him before he slashed through him.
Ultamus knocked him back and then did it again.
Well here goes nothing. Running towards Ultamus, I let my arm charge with energy. From where, I have no idea and I'm afraid to question it.
I stick my arm into his chest and let the energy transfer to him.
As we both start to scream in pain, X-Omega dragged me back. We both looked at Ultamus to see him convulsing before he changed into a cross between my Mix Destructor form and his gas form.
"What did you do to me?" he suddenly got blasted with a lot of energy blasts.
"We changed you gaseous body to that of a solid one so that you could be susceptible to any damage thrown at you, lasers or not" X-Omega responded.
He took the Special key and inserted it into his belt before activating it again. "Use this, just this once" he tossed me a cylinder, which turned into a chip.
I nod and we both activate them.
Special Key! Spinax Attack! Dual Burst!
We both get ready to go as red, gold, black, and silver energy starts to circle around us. Jumping into the air, we fall towards Ultamus in a flying side kick.
"X-Spinax Dual Attack!" X-Omega shouted as the attack impacted Ultamus, who put up a gold shield at the exact last minute.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
The groups reunited in the center, against the monsters that were gathered in the center.
"Tch, it's just as I thought" Zander, who was hidden in the shadows, ran away from the scene, unbeknownst to the people following him.
"So, are you going to freeze us again? We'll just come back" Entros taunted.
"Idiot, like we would say what we're going to do" X-Omega said.
"Besides, we're not going to do what we did last month again, we'll make sure this won't happen again" Seth said.
The five Rangers started to glow before they took out weapons.
The five weapons connected.
"Hey, use this" Seth said and he tossed it to X-Omega, who held it up on his own and nodded, facing the Destructors before he pointed the weapon at them.
May looked at the weapon before she went to the side and used her strength to help hold it up.
Odd put on a big grin and went on the side opposite May before helping as well. Jack and Aelita both nodded before they grabbed respective ends and lifted them up, helping to hold it together.
"Okay" Dyllon nodded.
"Good luck guys" Rosie said.
"Don't hold back" Holt told them.
Duna simply looked at them before looking back.
The five Rangers drew another weapon each before they held them out.
"Mix Combination!"
The Red Sword levitated in the center before the Black Staff split in two and attached to the sides. The Pink Axe attached to the bottom and the Blue Daggers attached to the sides of the axe and pointed outwards while the Yellow Mace attached to the Red Sword's handle while the ball portion attached to the top of the axe.
"Boost Striker!" Seth held up the Boost Striker and took a step back, charging it with energy before he got ready.
Rosie and Holt took his left and right respectively while Dyllon and Duna got ready getting beside Rosie and Holt respectively. He took out a ShanShan chip and inserted it into the side.
"Initiate Full Power!" All five Rangers shouted.
X-Omega took out the Special Key and it changed into a Spinax Medal before he slotted it into the weapon in his hands.
"Charge up!" he announced.
Both teams let energy flow into the weapon as they got ready.
"Ready…" Seth started.
"Go!" X-Omega shouted.
The Rangers (minus Seth) threw their hands forward and four beams of energy shot out and trapped their disoriented enemies.
"ShanShan Slash!" Seth held the blade down and to the side before he slashed wide, causing a wide arc of red energy to shoot out.
X-Omega pulled the trigger on the weapon and it unleashed a destructive beam of energy.
The two attacks combined and formed a drill of sorts before it impacted the four monsters, causing an explosion.
"Whew, it's over" X-Omega dropped the weapon and collapsed to his back, finally resting.
"Yeah, they escaped" Seth looked over the area of the explosion and saw that there were tracks of a mysterious liquid, presumably one of the Destructors blood, leading away from there.
Geo and Seth stood at the docks as the sun came up.
"It's finally over" Seth sighed.
"Yeah, we can finally relax and enjoy our vacation" Geo said.
"Well, if you guys don't get an extension on your trip because of the Destructors, I don't know what to say"
"I hope we do, a tight school schedule and a sudden up-all-night fighting session is not good for the mind or body" Geo sighed.
"Come on, let's get you back to the hotel." The two of them walked away from the docks when a sudden figure dove out of the bushes towards them.
Getting into a ready stance, the two prepared themselves. But they weren't expecting what they saw.
"Run" Kamen Rider Storm raised his hand up to them "they're after you two" his hand dropped to the ground as he fell unconscious.
"What the heck!"
"This Kamen Rider, what on earth happened to him?!" Geo got closer.
"That's far enough"
Two more Kamen Riders came out of the bushes.
"Who are you guys" Seth said.
"Kamen Rider X-Omega, Kamen Rider Kabuto AKA Red Air Ranger… your journey is over, and HE'S waiting at the end" the female said.
"Who is HE?" Geo demanded.
"I am Kamen Rider Wyvern, your guide to your fate" Wyvern ignored him and sliced the fruit on her belt three times.
Fruit Duo Sparking!
Energy gathered in front of the two of them (and Storm) before a portal opened behind them and the energy exploded, sending them into the portal before it closed.
"That's over, we've got the last Riders" Wyvern said.
"Good, then it's time to finish our ultimate plan for the ultimate fate"
"Your speeches still need improvement" Wyvern said.
A portal opened in front of them and they walked into it before it closed.
A/N Like I said, rushed. And like I said, consequence for not being as dedicated to this. And also, if you want to know what happens, I'm sorry, but I won't get back to this until I'm done with something special in my other story, which is where the characters here will be for a while. When I get back, it'll be when they return, I will admit, it will take a while, but I WILL get around to doing it.
