Chapter 10: Return
Previously:
Geo and Seth stood at the docks as the sun came up.
"It's finally over" Seth sighed.
"Yeah, we can finally relax and enjoy our vacation" Geo said.
"Well, if you guys don't get an extension on your trip because of the Destructors, I don't know what to say"
"I hope we do, a tight school schedule and a sudden up-all-night fighting session is not good for the mind or body" Geo sighed.
"Come on, let's get you back to the hotel." The two of them walked away from the docks when a sudden figure dove out of the bushes towards them.
Getting into a ready stance, the two prepared themselves. But they weren't expecting what they saw.
"Run" Kamen Rider Storm raised his hand up to them "they're after you two" his hand dropped to the ground as he fell unconscious.
"What the heck!"
"This Kamen Rider, what on earth happened to him?!" Geo got closer.
"That's far enough"
Two more Kamen Riders came out of the bushes.
"Who are you guys" Seth said.
"Kamen Rider X-Omega, Kamen Rider Kabuto AKA Red Air Ranger… your journey is over, and HE'S waiting at the end" the female said.
"Who is HE?" Geo demanded.
"I am Kamen Rider Wyvern, your guide to your fate" Wyvern ignored him and sliced the fruit on her belt three times.
Fruit Duo Sparking!
Energy gathered in front of the two of them (and Storm) before a portal opened behind them and the energy exploded, sending them into the portal before it closed.
"That's over, we've got the last Riders" Wyvern said.
"Good, then it's time to finish our ultimate plan for the ultimate fate"
"Your speeches still need improvement" Wyvern said.
A portal opened in front of them and they walked into it before it closed.
Now:
Seth laid on the ground, covered in wounds and with a silver belt around his waist.
How is it… that it all led to this? We all joined in trying to help everyone… but all we ended up doing was nearly destroying each other. What… what could we have done that all led to this?
Kamen Rider X-Omega stared down his opponent with a glare, his right "eye" broken and Geo's eye being shown.
"You… you honestly think I will let this go on any longer? I won't stand for this!" X-Omega shouted.
A few days ago:
[Third Person P.O.V.]
It had been over a month since Geo and Seth vanished without a trace, and no one had any idea where they went.
Among the worried people were Rosie and the rest of the Rangers.
The trip for May and the others ended, and they were forced to return back to Kadic without their friends.
Rosie and Holt were currently sitting at their regular hangout, with Holt having his arm around Rosie.
"Do you think they'll remember to look for us when they get here?" Rosie asked.
"Rosie, they're coming all the way here on one of their week long breaks to find us, I doubt they could have forgotten."
"Holt, it's been almost a month since they went missing, we can't just give up, we have to find them.
"And we will, don't worry about a thing, we'll find our friends, I guarantee"
"Don't make promises you can't keep."
"It's not my promises you should be worried about" Holt smirked.
Rosie smiled and looked out the window, dropping her smile as she as deep in thought.
The day was normal, clear and calm. There were no monster attacks, and thus, no need for battle. Nothing strange thing could possibly happen.
ZAP!
Spoke too soon.
At the docks, a grey line appeared in the air before it opened and three people stepped out.
One of them was a young man wearing a dark blue jacket, a red shirt, and a pair of silver pants. He was carrying a bulky blue object as well.
The second one was the youngest of the three, wearing a red shirt and khaki shorts with a large hat on his head.
And lastly was a boy who was at school age, wearing a yellow and red shirt that had white stripes and had a pair of black jeans that had some splatters of green on it. He also had a pair of glasses with a gold tint to it and an orange jacket with a thin cyan stripe across the left side.
"So, we're back after so long in Bujin World" the youngest one stretched.
"I can't wait to see my friends again" the second one smiled.
"Well I hope my allies are still alive, because I didn't give them anything to use in this Dimension, hopefully they're alright"
The three of them started to walk.
"So what now, we've been Kamen Riders, Fossil Riders, even Bujin Riders. There has to be something left."
"Well, I have to find my allies so we can leave, they've spent enough time in this world."
"Our battle should be still going on against the Destructors. And it should be even better that I am a Destructor myself, so we have a surprise they're not expecting."
"I hope I haven't missed much doing school, I can't fall behind just yet" the second one sighed, placing his hand on his glasses and pushing them further onto his face.
"Well, until then, I think we should get going, we're not done with our mission just yet" the youngest nodded.
"We're not?" the oldest said.
"No, we're not done until we can come back and see our friends again. It's a special and we should act like it" he snapped.
"Fair point" the youngest nodded.
"Well, you guys can" the oldest placed the bulky item on his back, attaching it to his sling backpack. "I'm heading off to find my group, see ya" he waved before walking in a different direction.
"Who does this guy think he is?" Geo spoke aloud.
"What or who he is doesn't matter, let's just get going" Seth said, to which Geo nodded and they walked away.
Duna and Eon both sat at a computer in the Fossil Core, studying data on a computer.
"What do the readings say?"
"Well, there has been no trace of Destructor Energy anywhere, or Evolution Energy. So we have nothing to do but just wait.
"That's good; there shouldn't be any trouble around here, now that we're finally at peace"
Duna settled in her chair and relaxed.
Then the computer started to go haywire, readings going off all over it.
"What's going on?" Eon demanded.
The two looked over the data.
"There's a huge reading of Evolutionary Energy and Destructor Energy compiling somewhere in the city."
"Where is it?"
"Near the Fossil Center, it's coming from these two!" she changed the camera to show off two people who were walking around.
A boat started to dock before it stopped, a ramp coming up and helping passengers get off.
Among these passengers, was a girl with white hair who was by herself.
"Where did Monica, Jack and Max go?" she asked, looking around.
"May?"
Turning, May saw that Rosie and Holt had walked towards her.
"Oh, guys, you're here" May said in relief.
"So, I guess it's time to get started"
"Yeah, but first, Monica and Jack and Max, I don't know where they are"
An explosion happened nearby.
"Well, best to head towards there, knowing your friends they're most likely headed towards it as well"
"Here's your order sir, have a nice day" Darry smiled.
"You too!" the man grinned and left.
Currently, Darry was at a restaurant, twirling her pink hair around her finger, working the cashier as Gimmy worked on cleaning and Simon had to cook.
"This is so boring" Gimmy said.
"Don't start Gimmy, we need to money until Hikaru gets back" she told him.
"How do we even know that he's coming back in the first place?" Gimmy asked.
"Come on Gimmy, have faith in Hikaru, his faults don't describe him entirely" Simon added in.
"Still, he just abandoned us just like that and we have no idea where he is" Gimmy said.
"Hikaru can't leave just like that, he still needs Gigant Racer, and we still have that with us" Darry said.
"Well why did I get the cleaning job?"
"Simon can cook and I can actually talk to people nicely. Even you can do that math"
Before Gimmy could retort, an explosion happened nearby, causing the three to stop what they were doing and go outside to check it out.
"Boss, we're heading on break!" Simon called out before he went out the door.
Dyllon walked across town, eating a burger while he walked.
"Mm, too many pickles. Then again, it's not that much to deal with this if I can keep seeing that cute pink-haired girl." He smirked.
Dyllon kept walking and was about to take another bite of his burger when a sudden blast knocked it out of his hand.
Looking down at the burger then back up towards the source, Dyllon saw several robots and Foneys attacking civilians.
One of which was pointing a weapon at him.
"Tch, great, ruined another meal" Dyllon took his morpher out.
"VivoFighters: Jara Power!" Dyllon morphed into his Black Ranger suit and pulled out his JarWings before attacking the monsters.
[Seth's P.O.V.]
Geo and I ran onto the scene, watching Dyllon face off against the monsters.
"Nice to see nothing changed" I sigh.
"That means more work for you"
"Well, as long as I'm back home with my friends, that's all I care about"
Dyllon turned slightly so it looked like he was looking at me out of the corner of his eyes.
"Good, you guys are here, morph and help already!"
I nod and take out my morpher, taking a look at Geo, who appears to be deep in thought.
Ignoring that, I insert the chip into my morpher.
"VivoFighters: Spinax Power!"
Throwing my arm forward, I hold my arms out, preparing to transform…
… But nothing happened.
"What?" I look at my morpher and pressed the button again.
"Spinax Power!" nothing.
"Come on, Spinax Power!" I looked at my morpher in distress, not noticing Geo staring at the scene in front of us.
"Okay, one last time! Spi-!" I was interrupted by Geo dragging me back before he threw me into an alleyway before he hid himself.
"Geo! What are you-"
"Shut up, okay, just watch, there's more to this then it seems"
What I see next after peeking out of that alleyway surprised me.
[Rosie's P.O.V.]
Eon, Duna, Holt and I reach Dyllon, who's holding off the enemies as long as he can.
"Good, you guys are here, morph and help already!"
The four of us nod and take out our morphers, however, I briefly freeze when I spot a flash of red and a familiar mess of hair. Stopping for a brief moment, I crane my neck out as the others morph around me.
"VivoFighters: Ranger Power!"
Holt and Duna both transformed, but Eon stopped once he noticed me.
"Hey, you okay?" Holt asked.
"Yeah, I just thought I saw something" I dismiss.
Eon and I insert the chips into our morphers.
"VivoFighters: Elasmo Power!"
"VivoFighters: Aopteryx Power!"
(For his suit just imagine Seth's but with modifications on it, like wings and a repaint of the White Rangers helmet)
[Third Person P.O.V.]
Seth fell back into the alleyway, shocked.
"Wh-what? Why did Eon… change into the Red Ranger?"
"I have a theory" Geo spoke up.
"It's entirely possible that we've been gone from this world a longer time then we were in Bujin World, however, due to that, your morpher was deactivated."
"Then how do you explain my transformation in Bujin World?"
"It's possible the order never made it past the border between worlds, however, when we returned, Eon's morpher was more likely then not containing all of the powers of the Red Ranger, and it even absorbed some of yours, probably because the morpher was upgraded when the transition happened."
"What?!"
"Science-y stuff, you should have gone to school instead of coming here genius" Geo retorted.
"So what do we do, we have to do something"
"We can't show up yet, they have no idea we're back yet, and us revealing ourselves just like that would be too much for everyone. We need to come up with a good back story before we reveal ourselves."
"I have to help them though!"
"You have another form, one that can breeze through those enemies in the blink of an eye, use it"
Seth's eyes widened in realization and he stood up, holding his hand into the air as a red blur flew into his hand.
The Rangers faced off against the robots and Foneys, doing pretty well.
Rosie and Holt both worked against the Foneys, being in prefect sync while Duna and Eon managed to take down the robots.
Dyllon just jumped back and forth.
On the sidelines, May watched as they did so.
"May!"
Monica, Jack, and Max all ran up.
"Guys" May sighed in relief.
"What's going on?"
"These guys started to attack civilians, it's fine though" May softly said.
All of a sudden, one of the Foneys grabbed a medal on the ground and swallowed it, energy running along it before it transformed into a brown and red creature with makeshift wings and a beak.
"Duna!" Eon ordered.
"On it!" Duna looked at the Foney and placed her hand on her helmet, moving her fingers as if pressing buttons.
"Okay, this Foney evolved into the Dimorph Dino Destructor. Classification: Dymorphus."
"Got it, let's go guys! Duna and Dyllon, take the robots and Foneys. Rosie and Holt, I'll join you guys in taking on Dymorphus!" Eon said.
"Right!" the Rangers said.
Duna and Dyllon started to fight the enemies while the other three ran at Dymorphus.
Holt took out his PaCrasher and smashed it against Dymorphus before Rosie struck it with her whips.
Eon held his pickaxe out and drew out a double-ended staff with a wing on each end before he swung it around; hitting Dymorphus with is before he used the end to slash across it.
As Dymorphus flew back, Eon jumped up and stabbed downwards, driving it into the monsters chest as he fell to the earth, both of them landing before he jumped off and swung around, catching a Foney.
"They're doing so much better… without me around" Seth sighed.
"Don't take it to heart, the team seems like they're out of it anyways" Geo shrugged.
"Still, what are we supposed to do? They don't need my help"
"You never know" Geo went back to watching.
Seth looked down before he looked up and held the red object across his chest before he placed his hand on the belt he had.
"VivoBlaster! Fossil Chip, Empower!" the three Rangers stood in front of Dymorphus with a large cannon and pointed it at him, Eon inserting a medal into it.
"Fire!"
A blast of energy fired toward Dymorphus, who flew into the air to avoid it.
Eon pulled out his pickaxe and pointed it at Dymorphus, shooting him down.
The three Rangers split their weapons back together and the other two joined them.
Dymorphus got up and the robots and Foneys gathered behind it, all of them brandishing weapons.
The Rangers got ready and both sides charged.
However, the ground between them sparked.
Both sides stop, looking for the source of the blasts.
"Looking for me?"
Everyone looked up to see a figure on a nearby roof, any details he had blocked out by shadows as he was right in front of the sun.
"Who are you?" Eon blocked his eyes from the sun as he asked.
"Hmph" the figure jumped down in-between the two groups, landing before he stood up and faced the Rangers.
He was wearing a of black suit under armor that was on his chest, shoulders, and head.
His chest armor was bulky and rectangular in a lot of spaces with red on the front. His shoulders on the other hand were a bit round and had a strange insignia of a beetle with the word: ZECT across it.
His belt was silver and had two panels on the side while the front had a red Hercules (Kabuto) beetle on it.
His helmet was silver and red with two little horns from the top and he had a bright blue visor.
"Kamen Rider Kabuto" Kabuto turned around to face the monsters. "Ten no michi iki (Walking the path of heaven), I'll find My Way"
Holding up a strange gun, Kabuto pointed it at his opponents and pulled the trigger, shooting a few of them before the entire crowd charged.
"Let me handle this" Kabuto told the Rangers before he pointed the gun up again and shot some more, slowly walking towards his opponents and knocking a few of them down.
When they reached him, he knocked aside one of their punches and shot it in the chest before he punched it back, sending it towards the others.
Kabuto spun around, kicking one in the stomach before he put his foot down and placed the gun to its temple, shooting it straight through its head.
Kabuto blocked a punch before he punched forward, hitting another one and jumping up, flipping over one as he shot it in the head. Kabuto landed and took his gun, flipping it around so that he was holding it by the barrel and holding it up, revealing that the bottom of the handle was extended outwards, like an axe.
Kabuto slashed across Dymorphus with the axe portion, knocking it back before he slashed again and then punched it in the chest.
Kabuto swung around again, slashing across multiple robots and fossils and causing them to explode.
Turning to Dymorphus, he watched as it spread its arms and flew away.
He pointed flipped his axe back around so that it was back in gun position and shot into the sky, missing with almost every shot but he hit it once and it was sent crashing to the ground.
"Got you!" Kabuto ran towards where it landed.
"Wait!" Rosie chased after him.
"Hang on Rosie!" Holt and the others chased after her.
Rosie ran after Kabuto, keeping him within sight. She failed to see, however, that she lost the others and that May was following.
"Where did it go?" Kabuto stopped and looked around for Dymorphus.
"Wait, who are you?" Kabuto turned around, seeing Rosie standing there in her Ranger suit.
May was watching from behind a tree nearby.
"Rosie?"
"Who are you really under that armor?" Rosie gripped her ElasWhips in front of her tightly.
Geo ran in from the sidelines and watched the confrontation in front of him.
Kabuto dropped his weapon (the Kabuto KunaiGun) in surprise and started to walk towards Rosie.
"Stay back!" Rosie demanded.
Kabuto stopped.
"I won't ask again, who are you?"
"Oh, right, armor" Kabuto reached to his belt when he started to spark all of a sudden.
Groaning in pain, Kabuto's head dropped and he held his hand over his belt in pain.
"Hey are you okay?" Rosie asked.
"Dark Kabuto mode… he's falling into it again" Geo looked on.
All of a sudden, Kabuto's visor turned from a bright blue to a yellow color. His hand dropped, revealing that the red color on the beetle on his belt was replaced by black.
Kabuto looked back up towards Rosie.
Using his foot, he kicked the KunaiGun into his hand and pointed it at Rosie, shooting her as she dove out of the way.
Rosie held up her pickaxe in gun form, and pointed it at Kabuto, shooting him across his armor but barely affecting him as he charged at her.
Geo placed his hands to his belt and ran at the two fighting, taking out a small item that could be described as: "eye-shaped".
"Henshin!" he placed it to his belt and energy surrounded him.
When the energy dissipated, a single armored man jumped out of the energy cloud and knocked Dark Kabuto over.
The two of them got up, looking at each other for about three seconds before Kabuto charged.
"Kamen Rider X-Omega!" X-Omega jumped up and blocked an attack before retaliating with a kick and a backhand.
He took out a cylinder and activated it in his belt.
Key #02: Sword Engaged!
A sword appeared in his hand and he used it to slash across Kabuto's chest before he kicked him away. Slashing again, Kabuto was knocked backwards.
X-Omega backed up towards the spectator.
"Rosie, get back, he can't control himself right now"
May stepped out from behind the tree.
"Geo?"
Turning around, X-Omega caught sight of May.
"May?" he lowered his guard.
"Look out!"
Turning around at the last moment, he was struck across the chest by Kabuto before he was sent flying into a tree.
Landing, Kabuto stood up and reached to his belt.
"Not going to happen buddy!" X-Omega shouted.
Key Charge!
Sword, Sword Strike, Slash Engaged!
X-Omega slashed upwards and a wave of energy shot out and hit Kabuto, causing a brief explosion.
From the smoke, the beetle object that was on his belt flew out.
When the smoke cleared, it was revealed to be Seth, who was standing in a daze.
Rosie froze and shakily pressed a button on her morpher, her suit dissolving.
"S-Seth?"
Seth collapsed.
[Rosie's P.O.V.]
"W-what is Seth doing here?" I stutter.
X-Omega walked over to them and reached to his belt, taking something out of it.
All of a sudden, his suit turned into energy and formed into lines before it was absorbed into the object.
Standing there, was Geo.
"Great, it happened again" Geo kneeled by Seth's side and checked his pulse.
"Geo" All of a sudden, I turn around and see May.
"What are you doing here?" I demand.
May didn't answer but she began to stumble forwards before she sprinted towards Geo.
Geo stood up and patted his hands before turning back to us… only to get tackled into a hug by May.
"M-May!" Geo froze.
"Where have you been for so long!?" May demanded.
May pushed off Geo and looked at him.
"It's… a very long story"
I can do nothing but stare at the two before I look down at Seth, who is starting to groan and wake up.
[Hikaru's P.O.V.]
How boring is this town? They have dinosaurs that can fight on command yet they choose to make it seem like a normal town. Of course, I suppose it could be that they just have to deal with all the drama that comes with having your own Power Rangers team nearby.
Putting my hands in my pockets, I just walk around, casually strolling through the bland town and seeing nothing but people going about their day.
Some couples were even confident enough to hold hands, kiss and show off their relationship.
Please, even if I did that, the only one I'd do it with is Darry, and I don't even know where she is. But unfortunately we're not even in a relationship yet.
Well, they couldn't have left yet, the only one who can even work the machine to travel is me. And besides, they're strong enough to survive on their own.
An explosion happened nearby.
…well, most of the time.
Running towards the source a bit late, I see that there was a small group of people standing there talking before they ran off.
Getting closer, I took notice of the remains of some of the robots.
"What interesting technology" these robots are indeed advanced for this kind of purpose. You'd think that stuff like this would be used for things that aren't so… mundane. Seriously, they probably have dozens of these incredible machines and they're using them for something such as fighting. I hope they recycle, because they probably cost a fortune.
Footsteps can be heard behind me.
"I'm guessing you're the clean-up crew?" I stand up and dust off my hands.
"Well, I hope you can explain what you do with such advanced technology, because I have some choice words for you" I calmly breathe, just loud enough for them to hear me.
"You've got to be kidding me"
Wait that sounds familiar. I turn around and see the people behind me.
"Are you really…"
Pretty stupidly, I blink and take off my glasses before polishing them and putting them back on. Yep, they're real.
"H-Hikaru?" Darry asked
"Darry. Gimmy. Simon. What are you guys looking so confused at? I wasn't gone long was I?" Noticing their faces were still frozen in shock, I tried something else. "Is there something on my face?"
Nope… still nothing. Well, except for Darry running up and hugging me. Even as far as we are into our journey, I still never expect how nice and warm this is.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
"What is going on?"
Rosie, May, Geo, and Seth all sat inside of an abandoned building. Well, Geo was sitting calmly. May was beside him, Seth was on the ground, passed out, and Rosie was next to Seth.
"We just got back from a fight in a different world that lasted several weeks, you honestly expect us to know what's happening now?" Geo tilted his head.
"What I want to know is why Seth is on the ground unconscious, and what that was back there?!"
"What that was, was Seth's own Kamen Rider armor. In the world we went to, it was necessary to have a kind of Kamen Rider armor. We appeared in a province belonging to someone named Bujin Kabuto and he was missing with only the belt and transformation trinket left behind. Seth was the only one who could take up the mantle so he did. Well, more likely Hikaru and I forced him to do it"
"Who's Hikaru?"
"Another ally of mine, don't worry about it"
"Okay, that explains the armor, but why did he go berserk?"
"Because, Seth is affected by his own humanity conflicting with his Destructor form. Because of that, the conflict changed his armor from Kamen Rider Kabuto to Kamen Rider Dark Kabuto" Geo explained.
"Kabuto?" May tilted her head in confusion.
"It's a type of Japanese Hercules Beetle"
"And why was Seth chosen for it?" Rosie demanded.
"I can't give you a direct answer for that. Everything has a reason, it's just that I can't find the reason for this at all"
"Well, why was he given Kamen Rider Armor when he's already a Power Ranger?" Rosie asked.
"Probably because he was replaced by the Sixth Ranger" Geo growled.
"Replaced? You actually think he was replaced?" Rosie hissed.
"I don't think, I know. Seth tried to activate his Ranger form but it didn't work. And this was at least half an hour ago. And it's strange, because this worked before, in that other world. My own theory is that your kill code for his morpher didn't transfer between dimensions properly and when he got back, it finally worked." Geo's hand clenched into a fist.
"We didn't issue a kill code!"
"Really? Then explain why when we returned, it wasn't Seth, the actual RED Ranger who transformed, but Eon, the WHITE Ranger, who transformed into the RED Ranger!" Geo shouted.
"Seth was missing, we had no other choice!"
"I can think of one: try to find your ally! You guys are supposed to be his best friends and you just abandon him that easily? And you of all people I should add!"
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You and Seth are supposed to be this big couple that people never expected to break up and yet here you are, seeing his best friend!"
"I'm not seeing Holt!... wait, how did you even know about that?!"
"I can see memories, don't even try to pretend I didn't see what I didn't see!"
"Wait… Rosie's in a relationship with Holt?" May spoke up for the first time in a while.
"No, it's not like that at all!"
"Then explain… what is it!"
"Several weeks ago, while you were missing, we faced off against several monsters. One of which affected Holt with some kind of powder. However, it affected him too well, and now Holt thinks we're together. He keeps trying to woo me and I won't fall for it. No matter what happens, he keeps trying to make me fall for him, but he doesn't realize that I won't! No matter what I tell him, he just keeps coming back as well!"
Geo and May simply stared, watching as she screamed at Geo, tears streaming out of her eyes.
Unnoticed to anyone else, Seth was awake. And as of now, he was missing.
Seth angrily walked throughout the town, not noticing that people were noticing him and taking note of his appearance. Not surprising considering that he had been missing for a while.
Meanwhile, on a different street, Holt ran, hunting for his friends.
"Rosie, May, where are you guys?"
Just as he turned a corner, he was subject to a punch to the face.
He fell backwards and landed before stumbling back to his feet and taking a look at his assailant.
"Seth?! Where have you been buddy?" his anger was replaced by happiness as he moved closer, trying to talk with his friend. However, Seth punched him in the gut and caused him to bend over before Seth knocked him back.
"Seth, what are you-" he was interrupted by Seth punching him again in the face before he kicked him away.
As of now, people were recording the fight with cameras.
Seth took notice. All of a sudden, a group of Foneys appeared around them and the people scattered. However, the Foneys did nothing, they just watched.
"Seth… what did you do?"
"You're supposed to be our friend Holt. And you up and betray me like this?"
A red and black beetle flew by and he caught it in his hand.
"I told you once before how I was lonely as a child. That should have been a warning"
He revealed the silver belt around his waist.
"Henshin"
He slid the beetle onto the belt.
HENSHIN!
Hexagons spread from the belt, traveling over Seth's body and forming the Dark Kabuto suit.
Dark Kabuto got into a ready stance and growled at Holt in an almost animalistic way.
"Seth… you… what's going on?" Dark Kabuto drew the KunaiGun and charged at Holt with a roar.
He slashed downwards and Holt dodged before rolling aside.
"VivoFighters: Pachy Power!"
Holt's suit formed around him and he drew his Pickaxe before slashing at Dark Kabuto with it. The blade bounced off the KunaiGun before Dark Kabuto pointed it at him in gun mode and fired, blasting him backwards.
Dark Kabuto followed after him. Holt stumbled back to his feet before Dark Kabuto slashed at him.
Just then, the others ran in.
"It's him!" Dyllon said.
"Okay guys, let's show him how to g-AUGH!" Eon was interrupted when Dark Kabuto rushed over and punched him in the face, knocking him back.
"Eon!" Dark Kabuto sauntered back over to Holt and spun his KunaiGun around his finger before holding it out.
"Gr, VivoFighters: Ranger Power!" the three spectators transformed into their Rangers forms and they drew their weapons before charging.
"Don't get in the way" Dark Kabuto snapped his fingers and the Foneys attacked the other Rangers.
Dark Kabuto blasted Holt in the chest before flipping his weapon around and slashing downwards.
He raised it into the air and prepared to slash downwards.
However, he was stopped by a monster that tackled him back. It was Dymorphus, why should anyone be surprised.
[Hikaru's P.O.V.]
The four of us walked through the town, looking through the places one last time for the other three.
"So that's it then, we've said goodbye to everyone, I guess we can leave now" Gimmy sighed.
"Look on the bright side, you've made friendships that will last a lifetime, besides, we're probably going to come back… one day" I smile. And for once, I'm not lying. We may eventually return to this dimension sometime, like how we one time visited the World of Rescues more then once in the cases of Rescue Force, Rescue Fire, Rescue Aqua, and Rescue SWAT.
All of a sudden, we stopped when something exploded nearby.
"Well, maybe one last call to action" Simon smirked before the four of us ran towards it.
[Geo's P.O.V.]
"Okay, how does this kind of thing keep happening?" I demand out loud as May, Rosie and I all run through the town towards the explosion.
"I'm used to it happening because it occurs so often" Rosie sighed.
"Well I'm not, okay, I'm not a Power Ranger"
"He does have a point" May added.
The three of us reached a large area and we watched as Dark Kabuto was tackled by Dymorphus.
"Great" I activated my belt and took out the buckle.

"Henshin" I slid it into the belt and spun the disc, my suit forming.
Insert, Energize. X-Guardian, Engage!
"Kamen Rider X-Omega" I clapped my hands and ran for the group. Punching Dymorphus off of Dark Kabuto, I follow after it before kicked it back and then punching it again.
"Geo?" I hear Holt question.
"You people disgust me" I simply tell him before punching away at Dymorphus.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
Hikaru, Gimmy, Darry, and Simon all arrived at the scene to see the fight.
"Okay, guess we're starting" Hikaru smiled before Simon and Hikaru activated their devices.
"Henshin!"

Elements and Storm both got into ready stances before they ran into the fight.
"May!" Monica and the others ran in from the side.
"Monica!"
"Come on, what's happening?"
"It's a bit too hard to explain" May said.
The two turned around just as X-Omega fell backwards and landed near them, sliding back.
"Why did it have to be a monster that this suit isn't used to?" he slid a key out of the pouch on his belt and activated it in his belt.

The line shot out and circled around him before combining with his suit, turning it violet and subsequently, a gun formed in mid-air, which he grabbed and twirled around his figure before shooting Dymorphus.
"Heh, I need to form change more often" X-Omega looked over the gun before he looked up again and shot the monster again.
"Geo?" X-Omega turned around for a brief moment and saw Monica.
"Yo" he waved for a second before turning back around and charging.
The others simply watched in a bit of shock at seeing their ally again.
"Um guys, I think we should join them" May spoke up.
"Oh" "Yeah" "Right, just what I was about to say!" the three responded.
May, Jack, Monica, and Max took their buckles off before drawing their symbols in the air.
Within a few seconds, the group was ready and they drew their respective weapons before they joined the fight.
While X-Omega fought with Dymorphus, Dark Kabuto continued to pound on Holt.
Holt was blasted backwards and knocked into a building. Dark Kabuto ran forward and punched for his head. However, Holt barely dodged out of the way before he took out his PaCrasher and slammed it into Dark Kabuto's back. Dark Kabuto impacted the building and spun around, smashing the KunaiGun into Holt's helmet. And somehow, it smashed it open.
Holt looked back up, his visor was broken open and Holt's eyes could be seen. And they had a look of pure terror.
"Seth… what happened to you?" he breathed.
Dark Kabuto responded by smashing the KunaiGun Axe into Holt's side again and again, slashing across his chest before he spun the gun around and blasted him back.
Holt crashed into a tree and ducked in time to avoid Dark Kabuto smashing the axe portion into the tree, which split in half from the impact.
Holt rolled out of the way.
"Stop! I don't want to fight you!" Dark Kabuto stalked towards him. "Seth come on… we're supposed to be best friends!"
"Your ego's showing again." Dark Kabuto slashed for his head, missing when Holt ducked.
"I don't care, you said before how you were lonely and how you had a nanny. Come on, we're the first real friends you've had, don't do this!"
"First real friend?" Seth stopped.
"Yes, you're one of the few friends I have, please, we can do this together" Holt put his hand on Dark Kabuto's shoulder.
Dark Kabuto slowly turned his visor towards him…
…then he smashed the axe into Holt's helmet, knocking him aside. He rolled to the ground, his helmet completely haven fallen off his head.
"Try again later, when I'm more human and less Destructor" Dark Kabuto harshly growled.
"Seth" Holt got up and took out two medals before inserting them into his pickaxe and morpher before activating them both.
"Cross Ranger Form Engage" he growled. His helmet reformed and his suit upgraded.
"Fine, guess I'm done holding back."
"Good, that means you'll actually be good for once at fighting"
Holt ran at Dark Kabuto with a roar and slashed with his pickaxe, missing when Dark Kabuto held his left arm up, blocking the attack with his heavy armor before smashing his other heavily armored arm into Holt's helmet.
Holt stumbled back and Dark Kabuto shot him several times.
"This is the end" Dark Kabuto hissed.
"This isn't even the start!" Holt ran at him and slashed again.
Dark Kabuto blocked and punched again.
When he fell back, Dark Kabuto reared his arm back and swung it around. Then he heard a scream that sounded familiar.
Stopping, he turned around and saw Rosie was fighting against Dymorphus in her Ranger form, and she was being defeated. And her leg was also bent in a weird angle.
Dark Kabuto stopped and looked for a moment before he punched Holt in the face and moved towards the two.
Rosie faced off against Dymorphus, slashing at the monster and missing before X-Omega shot at it and missed.
She tried to kick it before she missed and Dymorphus grabbed her leg and brought its arm down, breaking it. Rosie screamed in pain as she fell to the ground.
She struggled to get back up and managed to do so, but awkwardly as she held her blade out.
Dymorphus made a noise that could be attributed to a laugh as it moved towards her and slashed downwards.
Rosie braced herself.
CLANG!
Rosie looked in shock, as did X-Omega.
Dark Kabuto was standing with his arm extended and blocking the attack with his head down.
"Seth" Rosie breathed.
Dark Kabuto looked up. His visor was blue and the beetle on his belt was a bright red.
"Kabuto…" X-Omega started.
Kabuto nodded and punched away Dymorphus.
"It'll be okay, Rosie, Geo" he said loud enough for just the two to hear.
He reached to his belt and used his left hand to touch the horn on the beetle, which lightly pushed off.
A pulsing noise was heard as his armor began to slowly expand outwards.
"Cast Off"
He used his right hand to pull the horn all the way outwards.
CAST OFF!
His armor exploded outwards, shooting out and hitting Dymorphus. It also subsequently hit Eon, but it was unnoticed, same for Holt, who slashed the armor away.
Kabuto's new armor was a chrome red, shaped like a beetle (obviously), and his helmet was chrome red as well. On his chest was a red object that was attached to his helmet and subsequently folded upwards. The object attached to a port on his helmet, making it look like a beetles horn and dividing the visor so it had two blue bug "eyes".

"Ten no michi iki (Walking the path of heaven), I'll find My Way"
Kabuto sighed and took out the KunaiGun before shooting at Dymorphus, catching it off guard as he slowly walked towards it.
Dymorphus held up one of its arms and blocked the shots before running at Kabuto.
Kabuto flipped his weapon so that he was holding it like an axe before grabbing the gun portion with his left hand. When Dymorphus got close, he pulled on the end of it, managing to pull the axe portion off before he stabbed forward with what remained.
What remained was the handle attached to a red and yellow blade. (So basically an ACTUAL Kunai)
Kabuto pulled it out and slashed with it before kicking Dymorphus away. He swapped the weapon around so that he was holding it with a reverse grip and he kicked out again.
As Dymorphus fell back, Kabuto stabbed it in the stomach before removing it and then spun around, kicking with his heel.
Dymorphus got enraged and began to shoot energy at his opponent.
Kabuto didn't move.
"Look out!" Rosie shouted.
"…Clock Up"
Kabuto pressed a silver pad on the side of his belt.
Clock Up!
Instantly, everything began to slow down for everyone except the beetle-themed fighter.
Kabuto took a step back from the slowed-down blast and moved towards Rosie and X-Omega, easily picking them up and moving them aside before he moved back into the path of the balls of energy and reached to his belt. He pressed the buttons in succession.
1-2-3!
He pushed part of the beetle back in and then pushed the horn back around.
Things began to speed back up.
"Rider Kick" Kabuto whispered.
He pulled the beetle horn back around.
RIDER KICK!
Electricity moved from his belt up to the horn on his helmet before it moved back to is belt and then down his right leg.
Clock Over!
Everything returned to normal with the balls of energy still zooming towards him. Kabuto suddenly kicked outwards and hit the balls of energy in quick succession, electrifying them and sending them flying back at Dymorphus.
Dymorphus was hit with the attack, and was sent flying somewhere.
Kabuto watched as it was flying away before he began walking after it.
"Seth" Rosie called after him.
Kabuto turned around for a brief moment and nodded before he turned back around and continued walking. The Foneys attacking the others stopped before they bowed and disintegrated.
X-Omega turned briefly towards Rosie and bowed before he ran after Kabuto.
The others regrouped and detransformed.
"Who was that?" Dyllon asked.
"He called himself… Kabuto" Rosie said, still in her Ranger form.
"Well until we know who this "Kabuto" is, then we're treating him as a potential threat" Eon snarled.
"Now hang on White, you may be Red right now, but that doesn't make you our leader, your just filling in Seth's spot until he gets back!" Dyllon said.
"Fine, but until then, you will follow my orders and act like you at least want to take care of our enemies"
"Eon, don't let power go to your head, we still have to take care of the lead on the Destructors and the BB Bandits, we can worry about this later." Duna told him.
"I know, but for now we can deal with whoever Kabuto was"
"What makes you think he's a threat, he could be an ally" Rosie added.
"Then explain why he was attacking Holt earlier. And by the way the Foneys disappeared after he left, then it would make sense that he had some control over them." Eon deduced.
"But…" Holt started "…he at least tried to held take down Dymorphus, and from where I saw, after his armor flew off, his belt and visor turned different colors, could that mean something?"
"He has a point" Duna said.
"Is it possible… that that was Seth?" Dyllon asked.
"What makes you assume that?" Duna asked.
"Because, the last time we saw Seth, he had control of his Destructor Form, but he had some trouble with controlling his emotions. That means that the two different colored visor and belt could be alternate forms. One dark form and one light form."
"…so basically, one Kabuto, and one Dark Kabuto?" Rosie said.
"Even so, we don't know his full capabilities" Dyllon said.
"Dyllon, he can slow down time and his armor can explode outwards to form a quicker form, you need a better explanation?" Holt deadpanned.
"Fine, Rosie, what do you think?" Duna turned to Rosie, but she was on the ground, passed out and her suit dissolved, revealing that she still had the broken leg that no one noticed.
Seth and Geo both sat at the top of a building, looking over the city.
Seth was sitting on the edge while Geo was overlooking from nearby.
"So what now? You've basically become an enemy to your friends by attacking Holt and now you have to deal with the aftermath"
"That doesn't matter" Seth turned around.
"Why not? Kabuto is a being of great power, possibly stronger then your old friends. If they witnessed Holt being completely obliterated by you, then they won't take you trying to help lightly. Well, most of them won't, don't forget, Rosie is going to help out, I can tell"
"But what about the thing affecting Holt? I can't just let him suffer from that"
"You're right, in order to protect Rosie, you have to stop the thing affecting Holt"
"No, that's not why I'm going to save him"
"What?"
"Holt may be an egotistical jerk, but he's still my friend and I'm still his. I'd rather save him and have Rosie and Holt continue on fighting then have them fall out"
"Even after you've beaten the pulp out of him, you still want to protect him"
"Of course, he and Rosie… are my greatest friends. And it may be because you were most affected by being in that Bujin World, but you've changed from someone who I can share my stories with to someone who can't seem to want to protect others, no matter what happens"
"I surprisingly don't get that enough. But in all honesty, I've been fighting longer then you, and I've had more adventures. And the similarities between us just keep building up. We were both lonely as kids, and we're trying to save the world in our own respective battles, even as we're barely teenagers."
"Yeah, it seems unlikely that some of the greatest warriors of the world have yet to learn how to drive an actual car instead of a giant robot."
Geo smirked.
"I'm not ready to go back to the others yet, there's still so much I have to do that I don't think I'm ready."
"You are. If I've learned anything about you, it's that you stand up and fight for others, despite your personality. You've changed the most out of the two of us, and that's a good thing. Even if I'm no longer human, I still fight for them, and if the story you told me about the timelines are true, then you will find your way back, on your own"
"There's still the fact that time is still screwed up. In my time, it was at least around or before Halloween, but even now it could be past that. So how is it that here, it's at least February?"
"I don't know, maybe time never really screwed up here like it did when you went back in time. Maybe you never went back in time at all."
"What?"
"You said that Xana was crafty and would do anything to win. Maybe the world you and Monica were sent to isn't real?"
"I don't know, it's a good theory, but how would you explain how this place isn't affected?"
"It could be, you never know"
"It is, if it wasn't then it would be at least before December, but it's around February or March here, which leads to my assumption"
"Maybe… maybe the entire fact that we're using Dinosaur powers from a different time attributes to that fact.
"Maybe, maybe not. Either way, we can't ponder this forever; we have to get back on track instead of talking like this"
"You're right" Seth got up and walked over to Geo "my first job, is to make sure you have a good trip"
"Good trip?"
"Yeah, you weren't around for most of the trip here, so you never really got to enjoy the island at its fullest"
"That's what you're worried about? Seth it's fine, don't worry about it"
"No, you've helped give me an adventure back in Bujin World, so I'm going to pay you back for that… by giving you an even better adventure here!" Seth grabbed Geo by the hand and pulled him to the stairs.
