Code Lyoko: X-Omega Unwound

Part two of Code Lyoko X-Omega. Geo and Monica don't know what's going on. One minute they're fighting for their lives, the next, they're back in time, and almost everything has changed. And now, just when they think they're safe, they realize, something big is changing this time around, and they can do nothing to stop it.

15. Chapter 11

Chapter 11: Leaving Once More

A/N Let me just say this. I absolutely do not think this chapter turned out right at all. In my opinion, it does not work and I made it too long. And that's not even getting to the mistakes and the confusion I guarantee might happen. But otherwise I have been writing this special for almost a year now, and it's over so I can get back to the stories separately, so I'm happy about that. Otherwise, this note is over. Constructive criticism is allowed.

Previously:

"…Clock Up"

Kabuto pressed a silver pad on the side of his belt.

Clock Up!

Instantly, everything began to slow down for everyone except the beetle-themed fighter.

Kabuto took a step back from the slowed-down blast and moved towards Rosie and X-Omega, easily picking them up and moving them aside before he moved back into the path of the balls of energy and reached to his belt. He pressed the buttons in succession.

1-2-3!

He pushed part of the beetle back in and then pushed the horn back around.

Things began to speed back up.

"Rider Kick" Kabuto whispered.

He pulled the beetle horn back around.

RIDER KICK!

Electricity moved from his belt up to the horn on his helmet before it moved back to is belt and then down his right leg.

Clock Over!

Everything returned to normal with the balls of energy still zooming towards him. Kabuto suddenly kicked outwards and hit the balls of energy in quick succession, electrifying them and sending them flying back at Dymorphus.

Dymorphus was hit with the attack, and was sent flying somewhere.

"Maybe, maybe not. Either way, we can't ponder this forever; we have to get back on track instead of talking like this"

"You're right" Seth got up and walked over to Geo "my first job, is to make sure you have a good trip"

"Good trip?"

"Yeah, you weren't around for most of the trip here, so you never really got to enjoy the island at its fullest"

"That's what you're worried about? Seth it's fine, don't worry about it"

"No, you've helped give me an adventure back in Bujin World, so I'm going to pay you back for that… by giving you an even better adventure here!" Seth grabbed Geo by the hand and pulled him to the stairs.

Now:

[Third Person P.O.V.]

Seth and Geo were both in front of a large machine. Geo was working on something carefully.

"Well, you didn't do horribly" Seth encouraged.

"Seth, I brutally mutilated this poor fossil" Geo denied.

"You did better for Holt's first time; at least we can revive this one… I think it's a Carchar."

"If you told me the truth earlier then Holt got a 49 percent"

"Well at least you passed this time"

"…Seth my lowest grade so far has been a C; there goes that record"

"Look, just try again, WITHOUT my help"

"Are you serious?!" Geo gave Seth a look that just read "are you kidding me".

"Just try it" Seth face palmed.

"Alright, fine…" Geo brought the edge of one of the gloves down and got back to work.

"So you don't know where he is?" Monica demanded to May.

"No, he left as soon as the fight was over" May replied.

"Did he at least say where he was going or where he was?"

May was silent for a moment.

"May… what did he say?"

"I don't think it's within my liberty to say." She timidly said.

"May, Geo's been missing for a month, we have to see him" Jack added.

"No, we can't because Geo… isn't quite done with what he's supposed to do" May timidly looked down.

"Do you even know what it is he has to do?" Max asked.

"He didn't say and I didn't want to pry."

"Did he at least explain why he is trying to avoid us?"

"I don't think he is trying to avoid us, I just think he's trying to help Seth" May said.

"Help Seth?" Jack asked.

"Yeah, Seth is going through a lot of crap right now, and I just think it would be best if he gets help from someone he knows he trusts"

"He trusts Geo?"

"They've been gone for several months and they were missing together. You have to assume that they formed some kind of friendship" Max shrugged.

Seth walked out of the Fossil Center alone, needing to get some air.

He was slightly sweating a bit and looked dizzy.

He stumbled around a bit and he crashed into the building before he began to slowly slide down the wall until he was sitting against the wall.

His vision blurred and his arms started to become scaly, but he hid them and quickly ran behind the building and fell to the ground, in pain as his skin began to change.

"No, not yet!" he tried.

It took all of his willpower to not scream as his skin began to change back.

A few moments later, he panted and leaned against a wall as the transition finished.

"Seth?"

Seth turned slightly and saw that Rosie was standing there with a crutch.

"Rosie? What are you doing here?"

"I come down this route every day, mainly to avoid fanboys who saw the coverage of the Level-Up Battles on TV."

"So it's a mere coincidence we ran into each other? Somehow I'm not surprised that it keeps happening at all" Seth smiled.

Rose moved to Seth's side and sat next to him.

"Are you okay?" she asked.

"I'm fine, but why bother me?" Seth looked at her.

"Because, out of everyone in the team, you're one of the most competent. Even if you're not part of it anymore"

"Yeah, but don't tell the others. A Kamen Rider helping a Power Ranger won't be a good idea"

"Didn't Geo help us in Kamen Rider armor?"

"Fair point" Seth nodded. He looked her in the eyes. "I'll ask again, why are you acting nice when most of the others don't act like I belong?"

"It's not just me. Duna and Dyllon are still on your side, if you do need help"

"And what about Eon?"

"I doubt that. You did put him in the hospital"

"What? That's the first I'm hearing of this!"

"Seth, you punched him in the face in full armor and broke his nose. Might I add it was a hard punch which sent him back a few feet, which may have caused more then a broken nose"

"Even so, I wasn't trying to hurt him. I didn't even know what I was doing"

"Seth, if you need help then just come to us and ask for it"

"Rosie, I'm not sure that's a good idea, if one Ranger changes to a Rider, then mob mentality may happen"

"Seth, be serious"

"Yeah yeah" he leaned back against the wall.

"By the way, where's Geo?"

"He's supposed to be inside and working on excavating a fossil"

"And you left him alone?"

"He'll be fine. Besides, the kids a genius, what's the worst that could happen?"

[Geo's P.O.V.]

Digging into another piece of rock, I carefully moved it aside and found what I was looking for.

"Jackpot. One last move…"

Digging carefully, I place the drill on a final piece of rock and begin digging.

CAREFUL! A male voice shouted.

The shock caused me accidentally push harder, breaking the rock off completely.

"Who's there!" I turn, looking for the source. "I'm warning you I have a drill!"

Ooh a drill, what are you going to do, summon a Triceratops to go with it?

(Little note: Geo= XYZ, male voice= XYZ, Female voice= XYZ

Turning some more did nothing as the voice remained unidentified.

Come on you're supposed to be a genius, how are you not getting this?

Stop confounding the boy more then you already are! A female voice demanded.

Why? I'm done waiting, why can't you calm down?!

"Okay West, you've officially lost it" Geo sighed.

See, now you've gone and made him think he's crazy!

But he is! *SLAP* okay fine, point taken.

Might as well play along!

What is happening!

Sorry, but the truth is, we're the two voices in your head.

…Yup, too much time with Seth and Hikaru.

He's serious. Basically, we're the voices in your belt given a sentient identity.

…and how is this possible?

You know you could at least believe, I mean, what can't you believe at this point?

The fact that there are two voices speaking to me through my head and belt

We're not just any voices though, after all, we're the ones who help you transform!

Wait… so you're telling me that I can't transform without you guys announcing the transformation?

Kind of annoying when you need to sneak up on enemies.

That's your fault, you're the one who feels the need to announce the form loudly.

I don't see why I can't.

You literally just said that it's useless when you need to sneak up on enemies.

So… does this happen a lot, or…

No, this is relatively new as we haven't had a voice until recently.

I'm not even going to question this. I'm probably going to be fine if I just ignore them

What? Come on, you need us!

I don't know who or what you guys are

Okay, I'll just say that we're your allies and we're going to help you. Also, there is a major battle coming up and your friend Seth needs help.

"Help? He'll be fine"

No, we mean he can't fight alongside his friends without a piece of equipment or two.

And what on earth does this have to do with me?

Just listen closely.

[Hikaru's P.O.V.]

Currently, Simon and Gimmy were relaxing somewhere while that left me and Darry to get things prepared. Usually they'd help but they felt they've been here long enough and Darry volunteered because she just wanted to help. Seriously, I gave her a choice and she refused to let me do it alone.

"Okay, the system's calibrated and we're about ready to travel"

"So what happened in that world you were in?"

I turn to Darry, halting with what I was doing.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean what did you do while in that world, it's as simple as that"

"Darry, nothing much happened, Geo, Seth and I almost died and we were saved by a group of rookie Riders but not much else"

That was the wrong thing to say.

"You ALMOST died?"

"Yeah, Dark Riders and their "elaborate" plans often need room for improvement, which allowed for those four to save us"

"Hikaru, are you just going to gloss over that?"

"Of course I am, I'm alive and most importantly, so is that Z kid"

"Z?"

"Yes, one of the Riders who saved me. Kamen Rider Dreigon"

"Dreigon? What kind of name is that?"

"Don't underestimate him. I've fought alongside him before. He is indeed a strong rider."

I got back to work, leaving us in silence for a few moments.

Darry was about to speak but I cut her off.

"Darry… you don't need to worry about me. As you can see I'm perfectly fine. I don't think you should worry about me and I just thing that you should just go about your business as usual" that should work.

"…actually I was going to ask how those two other kids were. I know you; you're not a cyborg for nothing"

"Sometimes I wonder why I put up with you"

[Holt's P.O.V.]

(Note: Holt= XYZ, Dark persona= XYZ)

What on earth have I done?

Right now I'm walking through one of the dig sites. I don't remember which one but I know it had a lot of forests.

Anyways, as I was saying:

Seth, one of my best friends, hates my guts, and it's all my fault!

But… then again, he is trying to get between me and Rosie…

NO! I can't think that way. Rosie and Seth have known each other longer and deserve to be together, they're falling for each other.

But still, just a bit longer and she'll start falling for you.

Even so, that won't change the fact that Seth is back and as that Kamen Rider. Even if I court Rosie and she falls for me back, I can't hurt Seth like that.

He's not human, why do you care about him?

He may not be human, but by now neither is Folse, and I still care enough to try and help them.

Folse's a… special case… I doubt you'll have to worry about him more then Seth. In case you've forgotten, who was powerful enough to create a way to monster form and back.

He didn't do anything… it was Geo who helped him. And by the looks of it, those two are shaping up to be good friends. Seth deserves it too after all he's been through.

What will it take to convince you?!

Nothing, because I'm done falling for your tricks. All you are is an evil manifestation of that powder trying to take control and I won't allow it. And because of you I hurt my best friend. Now suck it up before I force you out myself.

"To think that this much damage has happened"

I turn in place to see some old man standing there.

"Who are you?"

"I am Narutaki. An ally to all of the Riders and the Rangers."

"What do you want, Mr. Narutaki?"

"This world has been affected by the appearance of Decade… and now there is a Rider who is running amok in a world that should not have Riders."

"Okay, but who is Decade?"

"What?" Narutaki seemed to be confused as he paused for a moment "oh, my mistake, I assumed that there was someone in this World. Goodbye"

Narutaki turned around.

"Wait!"

"What is it?" Narutaki stopped.

"You said you were an ally to the Rangers. Maybe you could help me with a problem"

[Third Person P.O.V.]

Dymorphus stumbled through an alleyway before it collapsed to the ground again, unable to move.

The Destructor was severely weakened due to Kabuto's last attack and could barely move on it's own.

"Well well, what do we have here?"

In a cloud of yellow smoke, another Destructor appeared and stood over its comrade.

"You seem weakened. What a disappointment. But of course, there's always something that can be done for a second chance"

The Destructor slid a medal into Dymorphus's back, causing the Destructor to convulse before its skin began to change.

Seth and Rosie both walked across town.

"Are you sure you can be walking that fast with your leg hurt like that?"

"Seth I'm fine, we're Rangers we have enhanced healing. Especially since we fuse together with our Vivosaurs and every one of our powers has boosted."

"Even so, I don't think you should put pressure on your leg"

"It doesn't matter Seth, I'll be fine, but it's touching that you care that much to worry" Rosie smiled.

Duna and Dyllon headed in the opposite direction.

"You sure the energy was around here?" Dyllon asked.

"Yes, the readings say that the two people are around here somewhere, and they've got a dangerous amount of energy inside them."

"Still, we've been out here for too long, can we just go back already"

"Since when did you get so lazy?"

"My favorite server at that fast-food joint quit"

"…so you're upset about some pink haired beauty leaving all of a sudden?"

"Oh, we're going to talk about relationships? What about you and Eon? I hear you two aren't working out all that well?"

"Where'd you hear that?!"

"Doesn't matter, what matters is that you two have been drifting apart since he became Red, and you two are the most prone to fight out of all of us. Guess that explains why you didn't visit him in the hospital."

"That doesn't matter, we're talking about your problem."

"What's the matter? Sore subject? Oh, that's right, not only were you subject to Holt's crush before Eon showed up, but you yourself had a crush on Seth" Dyllon teased.

Duna's breath caught in her throat.

"And you thought you hid it so well. News flash, not everyone is oblivious. I caught those spare glances here and there, even if there were a few of them and they weren't noticeable." Dyllon stopped when he noticed that Duna had stopped a few feet back and was frozen.

"Uh, Duna?" he waved his hand in front of her face. Nothing.

"You okay?"

"Seth…" she breathed.

"What are you going on about?"

He followed her gaze but he couldn't see anything through the large crowd of people.

"Are you seeing things, because I can't s-" he stopped when he turned back and noticed she wasn't standing there anymore.

"What the- Duna? Duna?!" he turned to look after his friend, but he couldn't find her anywhere.

On the other hand, Duna was running after the illusion she thought she saw.

[May's P.O.V.]

I finally lost Monica, Jack and Max. It took me about two blocks, five large crowds of people, six sales, and about an hour. It's like Geo rubbed off on me before he vanished.

Needless to say, I was lost. Getting directions from anyone seemed to be fruitless, as some guys were too distracted with my looks and others directions weren't the best. Though it should be justified, as some can't exactly explain proper directions and turns when huge crowds pop up seemingly out of nowhere.

Finally, I arrived at someplace that looked familiar and entered it.

[Third Person P.O.V.]

Geo sat in the middle of the Cyberspace, holding two medals while he was talking to Dr. Diggins and Kasey.

"So what you're saying is that these two little coins are actually the containment for genetically modified dinosaurs that can do battle?"

"Yes" Dr. Diggins nodded.

"And you two just modified them even more?"

"Following the exact specifications you asked for. Though I have to say, these seem a bit too advanced for the Rangers. Usually it's actually organic or something close. What you did is you had us make them almost completely cybernetic, which would make no sense."

"I think it could be considered cruel" Dr. Diggins added.

"It's not though. These aren't actual Vivosaurs, they're robots. I took the DNA of the two Vivosaurs and simply had you guys help me construct robotic bodies for the Vivosaurs. When they need to be called, the chips are right here, but when you need Zords, all you need is a different code. It functions as a two-in-one. One for real life battles while the other can be used for Zord battles"

"That's actually very clever"

"Thank you"

"Still, what if the Zord battle overloads the Vivosaurs?"

"The medals can't be destroyed no matter how much battle they're put through. The Vivosaurs can be killed yes, but the medals themselves won't vanish unless the aforementioned circumstance is met. When they're summoned for a Zord battle, the robotic bodies are summoned but the actual Vivosaurs won't appear"

The door opened and the bells rang.

"Oh, hello, welcome to the Cyberspace, what do you need?" Kasey asked.

Geo turned to the door and his eyes widened.

"G-Geo?" May stuttered.

"May? What are you still doing here I thought you left after the battle the other day"

May didn't respond. Instead, she started to walk slowly towards Geo before she sprinted and suddenly enveloped him in a hug.

"May?!" Geo lost his balance and toppled to the ground with May on top of him.

"Sorry!" May got up and helped Geo up as well.

"What are you doing here?" May asked.

"I had to do one last thing to help Seth"

"And you're done, you can come back?" she asked hopefully.

"Sorry, but I'm not done just yet. As much as I want to come back, Seth really needs someone to stand by him and I don't know why, but I think I should be the one to help him. I'm sorry" he started to walk away.

"NO!" May grabbed his wrist and stopped him. "You're not leaving again!"

"May, I-"

"Geo, you've given thought to Seth, I'll give you that, but think about yourself! You've been missing for a while now and there are a lot of people worried. Aelita, Odd, Ulrich, Yumi, William, Jeremy. Even Sissy and her gang are! But most of all, Monica and I… we want you to come back already!"

"You keep giving yourself up to fight for others and I admire that and respect your decision, but you can't just keep throwing away your life for others all the time! Please Geo!"

Geo turned to May to see that her eyes were red and she was crying.

"I don't want to lose the person who I care for the most…"

Geo couldn't take it. He hugged her and began to kiss her on the lips. She kissed back.

The two spectators turned away to avoid the sight.

"Well this is adorable" Kasey whispered.

"I feel bad now, we're invading their privacy" Dr. Diggins commented back.

"Hey guys I'm ba-!" Seth and Rosie walked in. Seth froze mid-sentence at seeing May and Geo.

The two broke apart and took a few steps back after this, both of them red-faced.

"Oh, uh, hey Seth!" Geo managed to get out.

"Geo… May… what exactly were you two doing?" Rosie gave a sly smile.

"I-It's not th-that important" May tried to shake off the attention.

"Oh is it now?" Rosie teased.

Unbeknownst to Rosie and May, Seth was secretly giving a thumbs-up to Geo, who somehow turned even more red-faced.

The door burst open once more.

Everyone turned.

"Seth!" Duna breathed.

"Umm, hi?" Seth confusedly said.

All of a sudden, Duna ran over and hugged Seth, surprising the boy.

"Uh, Duna?" Rosie timidly poked Duna "is something wrong?" there was a hint of jealousy in her voice.

Duna realized what was happening and quickly unwrapped her arms from Seth and moved backwards a bit.

"Sorry" she bashfully mumbled.

"What are you doing here? Where were you?" she asked.

"It's a bit too hard to explain" Seth said.

"Yeah like this situation" Geo mumbled under his breath.

Seth looked confused for a brief moment when he looked up all of a sudden with a strange look.

"Seth? You alright?" Rosie asked.

Seth suddenly ran out the door.

"Oh no" Geo ran after him.

"Geo!" May followed after the boy.

Rosie also joined the chase with Duna hesitantly following.

All the while Dr. Diggins and Kasey just sat there, looking after the group before turning to each other.

"Do you know what just happened?" Kasey asked.

"Nope" Dr. Diggins denied.

"Seth, where are you going?" Rosie questioned.

Seth ran ahead of them, stopping when he reached the port. He looked around before snapping his head in another direction and running towards whatever he was searching for.

"Seth, hang on!" Geo shouted after him.

Eventually the boy stopped when he got to a crowd of people that were on the beach and looked all around them.

"What's wrong?" Duna asked.

Seth stopped searching and pointed forward.

"There's a Destructor somewhere in that crowd" he said.

Geo looked at him with a suspicious look.

The rest of the group followed his gaze but didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

"Hey… are you sure you're okay?" Rosie asked, concerned.

Seth didn't say anything but he tensed and his eyes briefly glowed.

All of a sudden, several Foneys appeared around the crowd and scared them off. However, two humans remained.

"What in the world?" one of them said.

Of the two people was a man wearing all black with several yellow highlights all over and with green eyes. The same could be said for the woman next to him, who had purple and blue highlights in place of the yellow and green.

But what was the strangest of them was that they resembled Rosie and Holt except for having white streaks in their hair.

"Ah, you were right, they were here" Rosie said.

They don't realize…, Geo started.

Of course they don't realize it; they weren't there to see it firsthand! That voice interrupted

Shut it you twit! And of course the other one had to respond.

Could you guys not do this now? Geo quickly shut them up.

"It's the Rangers!" the man pointed out.

The woman turned and met eyes with Seth, who was still tense and almost frozen.

"But why did you summon these idiots?" the man pointed out to the woman.

"I didn't!"

While this was happening, Seth was slowly walking towards the two, his eyes turning completely black and pink.

The woman froze.

"It can't be"

All of a sudden, an inhuman roar rang from Seth before he ran at the two. White energy formed the cocoon around him and became noticeably larger the closer it got to the two people.

The cocoon dispersed and revealed the Mix Destructor.

"Seth!" Rosie called.

The Mix Destructor swung around; attempting to hit the man's head but missing as he ducked. It tried again and aimed for his head. However, the man kept sidestepping his attacks before he held up his hand and snapped his finger. When the Mix Destructor swung again, the man was replaced by Entros, who blocked with his arm before he punched forward and hit his opponent.

"Way to blow our cover" the woman with him exasperatingly said before she sighed and changed as well. She was now Xenus.

"They can assume human forms?" Geo said.

"And that would be our cue" Duna and Rosie stepped forward before taking out their morphers and chips.

"VivoFighters: Dinaurian/Elasmo Power!"

Within moments, Duna and Rosie were in their Ranger forms as they ran forward (though Rosie had a noticeable limp) and began to attack the Foneys (and Xenus in Rosie's case), who simply dodged their attacks, barely doing anything threatening.

"And here we go" Geo fixed his glasses.

He activated his belt and took out the part on the side of his belt.

May got ready as well.

"Henshin!"

Insert: Energize! X-Guardian, Engage!

May drew her symbol in the air.

The two changed into their battle forms and got ready. May drew her weapon as X-Omega got his sword.

Key: #02! Sword Engaged!

X-Omega and May both ran into the fight. X-Omega joined the Mix Destructor in fighting Entros and May handled Xenus.

Rosie slashed with her weapon and May followed through with her own attack with Xenus dodging before she struck both of them back and then repeated the motion.

Rosie slid backwards and took out her Pickaxe. She converted it to gun mode and shot Xenus several times. May jumped forward and slashed with her staff.

X-Omega slashed at Entros before the Mix Destructor followed through with its own attack.

The two alternated between their attacks before they finally punched forward and launched Entros back.

X-Omega jumped into the air and kicked Entros aside before Mix slashed with his claws.

"Okay, time to finish this" X-Omega took out a key before he prepared to activate it in his belt.

However, the Mix Destructor shoved past him and mercilessly pounded on Entros.

"Eh? Seth, what are you doing?" X-Omega asked.

The Mix Destructor tackled Entros to the ground and held him down as he began to punch him across the face multiple times.

"Oi! That's enough!" X-Omega ran over and planted his sword in the ground before putting his hand on the Mix Destructors shoulders, trying to pull him off.

The Destructor retaliated by blasting X-Omega back with a ball of wind.

X-Omega landed on his feet.

"Okay, now we have a problem"

He took out a phone and called someone.

"Hello? Yes it's Geo. Yeah this might seem like a bit much but we need your help."

Holt walked alone through the city. In his hand was a small robotic device while around his wrist was a small brace.

---

Flashback:

"With this device, you can go beyond the limits of time itself." Narutaki passed Holt the device.

"Thank you"

"But I must ask. Why would you trust a complete stranger to give you something that you've never heard of?"

"Because you know I'm a Ranger. You're either an ally or an enemy. And I can tell that I'd accept help from either by now"

"Hmph, Kyomibukai (interesting). Very well, I'll entrust this Spider Zecter to you. But take it with this warning. There is a Rider out there who will destroy every world. Decade, the World Destroyer."

"That's kind of redundant" Holt commented

"Decade will destroy every world and he must be stopped"

"Why are you telling me this?"

"He normally visits Rider worlds. And since your friend is now a Rider in a Ranger-only world, then you may have to fight fire with fire"

Narutaki turned around and walked away, a silver screen appearing in front of him and traveling through him, causing him to vanish.

All Holt did was watch confused.

End Flashback

Holt looked down at the Spider Zecter.

"If this is what I have to use, then I'll use it"

Holt eventually turned a corner and saw the battle that was happening. He let go of the device in his hand, a robotic spider, which landed safely and scurried away.

He lifted his morpher up. His eyes began to glow a yellow color.

"VivoFighters: Pachy Power…"

Holt walked forward as his suit cloaked him and he drew his pickaxe before charging.

Converting it to sword mode, he tackled the Mix Destructor off Entros. As the two stood up, he stabbed forward and missed as the Destructor dodged before trying to slash forward with his own claw.

The Ranger dodged before spinning around and converting his weapon to gun mode before blasting the Mix Destructor.

"Oi, what are you doing?" X-Omega tried to walk over and stop him but he was tackled by Entros.

Mix slashed at Holt, who dodged again and again before punching forward and catching Mix.

The Mix Destructor got up and roared while running at Holt.

Out of nowhere, the cocoon of light surrounded him out of nowhere and a blur flew around him before flying into the cocoon.

HENSHIN!

The cocoon burst away to reveal Dark Kabuto in Masked Form, who held out the KunaiGun before swinging it randomly and in a rage.

"You've got to be kidding me!" X-Omega shouted from his point, looking directly at the two as he shoved Entros off of him again. Then he slashed for good measure.

Dark Kabuto held the axe in gun form and blasted Holt. However, Holt fell back and held his own gun out before shooting Dark Kabuto as well.

The two got into a standoff before Dark Kabuto got tired and flipped his gun back to axe mode and ran towards Holt.

Holt shot at Dark Kabuto, but the blasts barely fazed him as it bounced off his heavy armor.

When he finally got to Holt, he slashed with the KunaiGun at his chest and sent him falling backwards.

Holt managed to get back up and looked at Dark Kabuto. He dropped his pickaxe to the ground.

"No choice, I guess" Holt raised his hand up and snapped his fingers.

Out of nowhere, the Spider Zecter crawled into view and jumped into Holt's other hand.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me!" X-Omega shouted, noticing this.

"Holt?" Rosie said from her position.

"Another robot insect?" Duna commented

Wordlessly, Holt flicked his wrist and a brace appeared on it in a burst of electricity.

He placed the Zecter on a slot on the brace.

HENSHIN!

Hexagons covered Holt, changing his Ranger suit to a yellow suit with a web design. A darker yellow armor formed on his chest, arms, and legs. His chest plate had a strange almost spider-like design while his shoulder pads were rounded. His helmet changed from having a visor and a Pachy design to having eight items sticking out of the side and two big red eyes and four smaller red eyes above those two.

CHANGE SPIDER!

"Is that, another Kamen Rider?" May dodged several attacks and moved closer to X-Omega.

"I think that would make the most sense" X-Omega frustratingly said. Then he turned and slashed Entros away again.

"I guess… you can call me Shadow"

Shadow picked up his pickaxe weapon and changed it to sword mode. From his hand, yellow webs spread onto the pickaxe and changed it. The sword suddenly grew spikes and changed dark yellow, black, and red.

Shadow charged Dark Kabuto.

Dark Kabuto reached to his belt instantly and pulled the horn back. "Cast Off" he hissed.

CAST OFF! CHANGE BEETLE!

His armor flew off and several of them hit Shadow, disorienting him.

However, his Rider Form (under armor) was almost completely different. His chest plate was black instead of red. And there were golden lines, going across his chest (I forgot what they're actually called). His helmet had a black horn that folded up to split his yellow "eye" in half, creating the effect of two eyes.

Dark Kabuto took the KunaiGun and pulled the axe off, changing it to Kunai form before he charged Shadow.

Shadow regained his bearings and charged Dark Kabuto as well.

Shadow slashed with his weapon, missing as Dark Kabuto dodged and kicked him in the side. Taking his Kunai, he spun in a circle and slashed Shadow across the chest.

Shadow stumbled before he rushed forward. Dark Kabuto attempted to strike with his Kunai but missed as Shadow ducked and slashed him across the legs, causing him to fall to the ground.

Dark Kabuto fell and looked up, instantly using his Kunai to block the larger blade that Shadow swung downwards with.

Dark Kabuto knocked Shadow's legs out from under him and stood back up.

Shadow sprung back to his feet and the two faced off.

"Clock Up…" Dark Kabuto hit the pad on the side of his belt.

"Clock Up" Shadow responded by placing his hand on the front of his belt and moving it to the side.

CLOCK UP!

Time slowed down around the two of them.

Shadow and Dark Kabuto charged at each other, clashing weapons as they did.

[Geo's P.O.V.]

Why exactly does this have to be so frustrating? First I have two voices in my head who won't shut up, next I have to deal with an annoying monster who won't even let me look away for a second before trying to beat the crap out of me. I know I must sound like I'm full of myself but it's the voices affecting me.

Hey! Don't blame us!

Shut it!

I slashed across Entros and kicked him back.

"This is becoming tiresome; Dymorphus Ace!"

Out of nowhere, a sudden figure tackled me… but we flew into the air.

"Oi Oi!" I simply stab the figure where I think its gut is and it drops me, allowing me to get a clear view.

The monster this time was bright red with a humanoid body. The startling thing about it was that it had two large wings attached to its arms. And it bore a striking resemblance to Dymorphus.

I crashed into the ground, leaving a small indent. Dymorphus "Ace" just flew away.

Getting up I was slashed back down with Entros sticking his sword right onto my neck.

"Surprised? This is what happens when the evolution of Vivosaurs is pushed to its limits. This is the first of many who will overcome you forces of good!"

Okay something's not right.

Do you mind! I can't focus with you speaking!

He's right, why would he just explain all of that to you for no valid reason?

He has a sword to my throat! Why are you worrying about that!

Think about it, why would he explain the face that he "evolved" that Destructor to its limit and why would he say "the forces of good"

You know I have heard of things that exist that aren't entirely good, but pure evil.

Well this is different; no leading member of an army would explain their plan and process to some nobody.

"Um hello, imminent death is at your throat, pay attention!"

I snap my attention back up to Entros, who rears back and prepares to swing downwards. Blocking the attack with my armored wrist, I take my sword and stab it into Entros, making him stumble back.

Change to O-Shooter.

What?

You need to keep him off with long distance, change to O-Shooter.

Okay fine.

I pull out two keys and place one in my belt before activating it then following with the other.

Key #03: O-Shooter: Engaged!

Key #04: O Gun: Engaged!

The line shot out of my belt and hit Entros back before making contact with my suit, creating an "O" shape. Purple energy came off the line before it did so, and it merged with the armor, creating a purple coloration. The signature gun appeared in my hand.

Pointing it at Entros, I let loose a few shots before running towards him.

While he's disoriented, a single kick sends into the air and one more charged blast shoots him further into the sky.

CLOCK UP!

Oh you've got to be kidding me.

I'm knocked aside by two blurs. One was black while the other was dark yellow.

They continued to go back and forth hitting each other, faster then my eyes could follow. The battle even continued on so that several of the other fights got in the way.

And unfortunately they even started to involve me as well.

"May! Rosie! With me, there's something we have to do!"

May nods and joins me in the fight while Rosie hesitantly follows.

"What's wrong?" Rosie asked.

"Look, Seth and Holt are going out of control, we have to stop them."

"But how? There's nothing we can do to match that speed" May said.

"…Rosie, you know those two better then anyone, can you predict what they're going to do next?"

Rosie smashed one of her opponents in the head with her weapon, took one look at the two fighting, and looked back at me.

"They're moving too fast for me to see"

"Just hang on a bit longer!"

I blasted one of the monsters in the head and quickly spun around to drive my foot into another ones neck.

Punching another one in the chest sent it flying back into a crowd before I spun on my heel again and performed another kick on the chest of one trying to sneak up on me.

CLOCK OVER!

"Well, that was shorter then I was expecting" I commented as the two blurs slowed down and returned to Dark Kabuto and that Shadow guy.

"Now can you predict what they'll do next?"

Rosie punches one of them in the head and looks at the two.

"Yes, Holt focuses on brute force, and by the looks of it, he's getting frustrated by Seth's fighting style. He's going to tire out soon."

Nodding, I took out Key #04 and activated it in my belt.

Key Charge! /Key Charge!

O Shooter! O Blast: Burst Engaged / Burst Engaged!

I held the gun in front of me as it charged with energy.

Shadow was knocked to the ground by an attack from Dark Kabuto.

"O Shooting Blitz!" I shout out loud before pulling the trigger.

A violet blast comes shooting out of the gun and roaring towards Shadow.

Shadow notices at the last possible moment and does the only thing he can, he grabs Dark Kabuto's weapon and uses it to pull him in, using him as a human shield.

"What!"

"Seth!"

Dark Kabuto began to collapse to the ground, the attack having hit him right on the chest. The beetle on his belt folded up and detached before flying away. His armor dissolved and left Seth in its place to collapse.

"Seth!" I called out.

"Wait! Geo!" May shouted after me.

Rage filled my being. Everything around me blurred except for my one target. Kamen Rider Shadow. I ran forward.

Shadow ran at me and brandished his weapon.

As he got to me, he prepared to slash downwards when I blasted him in the chest.

While he stumbled backwards I took the chance to rip his weapon out of his hands and beat him with it, striking across his chest multiple times.

Jumping up, I plant my feet on his chest and kick outwards, causing him to stumble backwards as I fell.

While I rose back up, I grabbed the KunaiGun and stabbed Shadow in the shoulder with it.

It was now that I noticed there were others around me.

"Geo! Calm down!"

It was like a whisper. And it was also too quiet to hear as I drew the Kunai out of his shoulder and stabbed again, entering his right bicep. Blood came out of the wounds as Shadow screamed in pain, the blood going everywhere, somehow getting onto my hands. Normally this would be the part where I would decide it's gone too far.

But for some reason… I couldn't stop.

I snapped my leg forward, planting it onto his stomach and shoving him to the ground.

I raised the Kunai up high one last…

… And heat raged through my system.

Something big knocked me off of Shadow and it was on fire.

The object kept trying to push me back. One blast to it was all it took to get it off. The object "stumbled" for a moment and I shoved it away.

It was Dymorphus Ace. And for some reason it was on fire. Currently it was stumbling around dazed, with its wing-hand to its head as if it was a wound. So I shot it in the hand and turned back to Shadow.

Shadow was standing up, blood soaking through his suit and with a gaping hole in his armor.

He raised his hand to the brace on his wrist and pressed a button.

RIDER WEB!

Shadow raised his left arm up.

Kid, whatever you're thinking of doing, don't do it!

Just calm down, please!

Too late.

I run at Shadow, yelling loudly.

Raising my gun up, I prepare to pull the trigger. However, I'm not expecting him to smash his fist into my chest. And then it gets painful.

I can't move. I'm paralyzed and I can just barely see some kind of glowing silver line on my suit.

And it's patterned like a web… Oh God he's going all out with this spider theme isn't he?

Finally, my vision and hearing cleared, and I could finally take note of the OTHER people and things around me.

"G… eo. … Ge… o. Geo. Geo! GEO!" May's voice slowly became clearer.

Shadow moved again and put his hand on the Spider Zecter, spinning it.

RIDER BITE!

Shadow charged, rearing his fist back as it charged with dark yellow-colored electricity.

"HAAA!" he punched forward…

[Rosie's P.O.V.]

I can barely see what's happening. All I can do right now is try and beat down the Foneys that are attacking me.

When it finally clears up, I can see that X-Omega is covered in some kind of silver- is that web?!

He's immobilized by the web and Holt in his armored suit is standing there, nearly covered in (what I'm hoping is not) blood.

In X-Omega's hand is Seth's dagger-like weapon, and there's a red liquid dripping off the tip of it. In his other hand is a gun.

Anyways, Holt (or Shadow as he called himself) raised his arm up and spun the silver item on his brace.

RIDER BITE!

Dark yellow electricity surged around his fist as he reared it back and charged.

My instinct is to try and flee… but I do so in the opposite direction.

I jump in front of the attack, shoving X-Omega to the ground.

Shadow realized his mistake too late as he punched forward.

"AAAAAAHHHHHH!" I scream.

The electricity surges over me and all of a sudden, I'm blasted backwards and into the air. I don't know where I'm going, but my suit's gone and everything's cold all of a sudden. I'm underwater.

And I still. Can't. Move.

Even holding my breath isn't doing so well, as I'm struggling to even keep the air in.

It burns. My chest feels like it's about to burst. I'm getting dizzy and I can't think straight. Everything's getting darker.

I can't take it anymore. I take a breath in through my mouth, welcoming death…

…and nothing happens.

I completely expect at least some kind of fast and painless death, but I didn't get it. In fact, it's not even slow and painful, there's actually nothing happening.

Taking another chance, I sucked in another quick breath. Nada. Zip. Zilch.

Taking a deep breath, I exhale and finally relax. I just sit there for a moment when I realize. I'm breathing underwater. (It's for emphasis.)

Well it is fitting, as my Vivosaurs are water-based... Wait, that's it!

I concentrate for a brief moment, allowing the water to swirl around my hands and feet. And I'm off. The water is pushing me around. And I'm controlling it!

I'm heading back up to the surface and I quickly change course, scaring some fish.

Back to the island I go!

[Third Person P.O.V.]

Shadow neared the paralyzed X-Omega, with killing intent.

He finally reached him and punched forward…

…only for a blue figure to shove X-Omega out of the way, taking the punch full force.

"ROSIE!" Duna shouted.

The electricity made contact with Rosie's suit, electrocuting her before the single area connecting the two exploded, sending her flying towards the sea. Then, just before she hit the water, her suit vanished, leaving her human form to (presumably) sink beneath the waves.

"NO!" Seth shouted.

He managed to get up but he instantly ran at Shadow, with murderous intent.

Duna intercepts him and tries to lead him away.

"Let me go!"

"Seth, there's no time, we have to go!" she starts to drag him off, barely succeeding.

The Web holding X-Omega disperses and he sits up, looking down at his hands and seeing the blood. His suit vanishes as well, but the blood still remained. Geo's face had a look of fear and horror.

"I…I…I…" his voice was barely a whisper.

Kid, I'll be honest, you screwed up. The voice in his head spoke up.

Sirens could be heard getting closer.

May ran up to Geo and helped him up.

"Come on! We have to go!"

He didn't even acknowledge her as she led him by the wrist after Duna and Seth.

Shadow looked out towards the sea in shock. The sirens snapped him out of it when they got close enough. He ran off.

Xenus remained and so did the Foneys, who bowed and disintegrated.

Without anything else to do, Xenus walked off.

Seth and Geo both fell to the ground inside the abandoned warehouse district with Duna and May standing over them.

"What was that all about Seth! What was that armor and how did you know that Entros and Xenus were there!" Duna demanded from the boy in red.

"Geo, are you okay?" May politely asked her love interest.

"And you, what was that back there, why were you trying to kill Holt!" Duna turned to Geo.

"Seth, did that last attack damage you in any internal way that you know of?" May turned to Seth and asked him.

"You are really not helping" Duna snapped at May.

"Sorry" she apologized.

"I… almost… killed him" Geo finally managed to get out, staring out into space.

"Rosie… she's gone" Seth spoke up, his voice barely above a whisper.

"Yes, we've been over this" Duna retorted.

"Calm down, they're experiencing trauma from what just happened and they're basically kids!"

"So are you, what makes you think you know what they're going through?"

"Uh… well."

"Point, Duna"

Seth watched the interaction.

"So is this going to happen often or…" Seth started.

"Shut it!" Duna snapped.

"Please wait a moment" May politely told the boy.

"Can you please just stop!" Duna snarled at May.

Geo stood up and began to walk off.

"Oi, Geo, where do you think you're going?" Seth stopped him.

Geo stopped and slightly turned around.

"I- I'm just going out for some air" he continued walking.

"Air?" Duna tilted her head in confusion.

May cautiously walked outside after him.

[Geo's P.O.V.]

I stood at the edge of the docks, staring out at the sea. My hands were clenched tightly, my nails digging into my skin. I subsequently felt a warm liquid come from the marks, which dripped to the ground.

Someone was behind me.

"Geo?" May whispered, barely audible.

"I can't tell anymore." I spoke up.

"Eh?"

I turned so that I could barely see her, her face having a worried look.

"There's nothing separating my blood from Holt's anymore." I raised my bleeding hand up to prove the point, as the dried blood and the fresh blood were unable to tell apart. "And I can't tell… May"

May nodded.

"Tell me, am I a good man?"

"Of course you are Geo? Why would you say that!"

"Because, back in that fight, I went berserk, and all I could focus on was attacking and… obliterating Holt. And every strike… it didn't make me feel sick… I felt… excited… exhilarated... satisfied… bloodthirsty, even."

Everything suddenly changed. It was as if I had become a monster My senses except for my sight became stronger. My sight on the other hand became weaker and things began to blur around me.

"I guess you could say… I'm a monster myself" I open my mouth and an unfamiliar noise comes out. I don't even realize what it is for a moment. I'm laughing.

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around me, and everything refocused.

"What… just…"

"You're not a monster, Geo! You're a Kamen Rider, right? A hero that fights for justice?" May demanded as she buried her head into my shoulder, crying.

"May-"

"Geo. I'm not going to let you come back into my life only to lose you again. Please Geo… it doesn't matter if you almost killed him. The fact is that you didn't, which means you're not the monster you think you are!" she moved her head back enough to look me in the eyes.

I nodded while looking down before I looked back up at her. "I understand. I'm sorry, May"

May smiled.

"It's fine, Geo", she rested her head on my shoulder, "I trust you not to let me down"

I felt my lips go up in a grin, when I was suddenly struck with a flashback.

May kissed Geo on the lips, to which he responded by kissing back.

Eventually, they broke apart.

"What was that for?" Geo playfully asked.

"In case we don't make it back" May shyly said.

"You're wrong, we will make it back, I promise" Geo swore.

"You'd better keep your word then"

This May… I'll admit, she does look like and seem like the old May I used to know… but this girl who I'm holding… she isn't the May who I promised to return to. All she is… all she is a copy of the girl I fell for…

You finally realized it, kid. The male voice was back.

What are you going to do? The other one asked.

I…

I can't do this.

I pushed off from May, separating from her.

"What's wrong, Geo?"

"It's nothing, I just…"

I turned back to the ocean, looking out. I noticed a small object on a nearby shore, but I could barely tell what it was. My eyes widened as I realized what it was. All of a sudden, I had an idea. And another. And another. And they all pieced together, like a puzzle. I had a plan.

"I need to go talk to Seth real quick"

I quickly walked past May, heading back towards the warehouse.

However, in the process I allowed a small surge of energy to cover my hand.

[Third Person P.O.V.]

Seth sat in the warehouse with Duna looking over his morpher.

"So, how do I turn it back on?" Seth asked.

"Well, I can reconnect a few wires and activate some of the basic functions, but otherwise, I can't reactivate your Ranger Suit. Maybe I can find a way to activate it back at the base, but the only one who knows how to do that is Eon, and I doubt he would do that until his morpher was fixed"

"His morpher is broken?"

"Yeah, in that battle last month, the night you guys vanished, that battle drained his suit so he can't fight again until it recharges"

"It works like that?"

"Why do you sound surprised?" Duna asked.

Geo walked in.

"Duna, can you leave, I need to talk to Seth for a moment"

"Hang on I'm almost done"

"Give it here" he took the phone from Duna and looked at the back, where wiring was exposed. He pulled a few wires and reconnected them as well, finishing up and handing it back to her. "And if you leave without questioning I'll give you a device to transform like Seth's"

Duna was confused for a brief moment before she replied "Have a nice chat you two" Duna left.

Geo walked over and sat down next to Seth.

"So… how did it feel to lose your love interest?"

Seth growled and glared at Geo.

"Why do you want to know? You have yours"

"No… I still haven't returned to mine yet"

"What are you talking about? She's outside right now"

"No… the truth is that I don't even belong here. I'm not from this dimension either."

"What do you mean?"

Geo sighed and explained the entire story to Seth.

"So- so you came to this dimension with your sister and you've been stuck here ever since?"

"Yeah, and when I said that I haven't returned to mine yet… that May out there… she's not the one I fell for, it's just a girl from an alternate dimension"

"That sounds tough" Seth uncomfortably sighed.

"Now, what will you do without Rosie?"

"I… all I can do is keep going forward"

"But what if she just drowned in the water?"

"It's fine, maybe she can breathe in water or something"

"Okay, that's likely. But what would you do if she never returned?"

"Well for starters I'd feel horrible and sad… but then… I'd eventually realize there's nothing I can do and move on"

"Like you have right now"

"Her death hasn't been confirmed yet!"

Geo put his hands up in defense and pulled out two medals before showing them to Seth.

"Seth, there's a fact that you need to know… I think I'm ready to go back"

"That's great!"

"Yeah, I know, but first I can't leave you alone without help. I'm positive you can reconcile, but until then… here" Geo showed him the medal.

"Are those-"

"Yes, these are the medals that I managed to excavate and revive back at the Fossil Center. And I can tell, they're ready to fight and are prepared to help. But before I can give these to you, tell me why you deserve these"

"I don't"

"Pardon?"

"I don't deserve them. After I lost my humanity, I don't have anything left. If I return to my family, there's nothing that I can do to return to them, lest they freak out. So all I can do is keep moving on with my own strength"

"Good answer, here you go" Geo shoved the medals into Seth's hands.

"I just said-"

"I know what you said, and I don't care, these aren't just regular Medals, they're Zords I helped create. And since the others can't do anything right now, or even summon their MegaZord if needed, it's up to you to take care of that"

And with that, Geo stood up and stretched. He pulled out his cell phone and opened it up.

"What are you doing?"

"Calling for back-up. You really think I trust you with controlling Zords you've never used before?"

"They worked the last few times" Seth said.

"Quit mumbling" Geo punched in a few numbers and put the phone to his ear.

"Hello? Yes it's me… I know... I don't believe it either"

Holt walked across the town, carefully cradling his wounds.

"I can't honestly blame him for doing that, considering it's my fault. But at the same time, I can't help but hate him for stabbing me."

"Of course you can't, he deliberately tried to kill you." Another voice came from Holt's mouth, causing him to be subject to weird looks from some of the people around him.

"It didn't seem that way, I can tell that it was my fault I dragged him in front of me."

"Why won't you see things my way? The correct way that is"

"Because, your way isn't the correct way to do anything."

"Just stick with me and you can get anything you want"

"No, I refuse. Besides, because of you, Rosie is gone"

"Would you let her see you like this? Besides, you don't have a choice"

Holt stopped and his eyes began to glaze over.

He shook his head, rubbing his hand over his eyes, trying to stop.

It didn't work.

Xenus (in human form) looked out at the sea with a scowl.

"What was that Destructor doing there? He is supposed to be following our every order, but why did he attack us?"

She thought about the entire team.

"All of them… they're not worth my time…"

All of a sudden, she thought about Seth.

"But this one… he's interesting…"

Then her thoughts moved to Rosie. And she suddenly was struck with memories of previous battles featuring Seth and Rosie. A large smirk formed on her face.

"I get it now… she's the last thing keeping him human… it'll be fun to get rid of her"

Forming a plan she saw an object in the water zooming towards the island. She snapped her fingers and Dymorphus Ace appeared behind her.

"So she's on her way, perfect. Dymorphus Ace, you have one last mission"

Duna was currently outside the warehouse, passing the time for Seth and Geo to finish talking. She was finished with working on Seth's phone and was, for some reason, currently trying to catch the Kabuto Zecter.

"Come on! Hold still!"

She jumped into the air, nearly grabbing it.

May sat nearby, just watching with what can be called a confused expression.

Duna managed to grab it as it zoomed by.

"Yes!" she shouted in triumph. Then the horn snapped back, wrenching her hand open as it flew away.

"Oh come on!" she complained.

"Um, Duna… what are you doing?" May questioned.

Duna finally noticed May.

"Oh… you saw that?" Duna suddenly became nervous and embarrassed.

"Do I… WANT… to know?"

"You really don't."

At this time, Seth and Geo finally walked out of the warehouse.

"Come on guys, let's go" Geo nodded, beginning to walk off.

"Where are you going?" May asked.

"To find the Cyberspace, I called my sister and she's coming to meet me. Then I'm going back home"

May put on a wide grin and started going after Geo.

Seth swallowed a breath and looked down at the two medals in his hand.

"Seth... what are those?" Duna looked at the medals.

"I think that they're my key to being a part of the team again. Did you fix my morpher?"

"Well, not entirely, I couldn't get the morph function back online but I could turn the Zord summoner back online. And I got the phone working again, so we need to get going because I ordered a pizza a couple minutes ago."

"Why?"

"What? Even geniuses get hungry, and I'm pretty sure half-humans do too."

"I'm not human"

"Well until that's proven, you're still one to me, now let's go, I set the address to the Cyberspace."

[Dyllon's P.O.V.]

"I can't believe I lost her." I walked around the town, searching for Duna.

She sticks out like a sore thumb, how did I lose her!

Turning a corner, I take notice of a familiar figure stumbling across the street.

"Holt?"

The figure in question stopped and turned towards me. Something was wrong. There was a noticeable blank expression on his face and his eyes were a gold color.

Holt held his hand up, a small device jumping into it.

"Henshin" he hoarsely spoke up.

He snapped the device onto a brace on his left arm.

HENSHIN! CHANGE SPIDER!

Holt suddenly became covered in what appeared to be hexagons, all of which formed a suit reminiscent of a spider.

"Holt, what happened to you?"

All of a sudden, Holt let out a roar and changed at me.

Diving out of the way, I took out my morpher and slotted a chip into it.

"VivoFighters: Jara Power!"

A quick flash of light surrounded me. I drew my weapon and ran at Holt.

I swung it around, getting angrier as he weaved out of the way of my attacks.

"Hold still!" I demand.

Stabbing forward didn't really work. Holt grabbed a hold of the blade and ripped it out of my hands before beating me with it. And might I say, what it transformed into looked kind of cool. When he finally slashed me back, he tossed the blade after me.

"Guess I'm done holding back!" Grabbing the sword, I slotted a medal into it before slotting another medal into my morpher.

"Cross Ranger Form, Engage!" Within a few moments, I was equipped with my upgraded armor. With a shout, I charged.

[Third Person P.O.V.]

Geo, Seth, May, and Duna sat inside the Cyberspace, at a table with a pizza on it. Geo and May sat on one side while Duna and Seth were on the other. Geo had a cup of tea in his hand while the others had water.

"So what time is Monica getting here?" May asked.

"Any minute now, but we have to be careful, any minute now we could be noticed and Kasey doing her best to guard us from view only goes so far" Geo told them.

Seth picked up a pizza slice and picked it up. "Do you care to explain what's going to happen?"

"Well, the truth is… I have to go back and take care of something important. But I need Monica and the others to get back" Geo told May.

"What could be so important that you have to drop everything to accomplish it?" Duna asked.

"It's too hard to explain, just go with it" Geo looked down.

Duna didn't say anything in response.

May looked at Geo with a concerned look on her face.

Geo swirled his tea around his cup and took a sip from it. He gazed out the window, taking note of something happening.

"I think it's time to go" Geo set his tea down.

"What makes you say that?" Seth asked.

All of a sudden, someone crashed through the window, startling the group. Well, it startled three of them. Geo just took another sip of his tea.

"That" he set his cup down and stood up, turning to the window.

May immediately moved to the person, checking if they were okay.

Outside of the building was Dymorphus Ace and a small group of Foneys, all of which were tossing aside civilians. Dymorphus Ace was simply standing there, glaring at Geo and Seth.

"Alright, one last monster I guess" Geo held his right hand up and pulled the edge of his glove down further before jumping down.

"Um Geo?" Seth followed, "what are you doing?"

"Trust me, I have a plan" Geo told his friend before he began walking forward, knocking aside any Foneys that came near.

At this moment, he noticed a person appearing behind Dymorphus Ace, and he smiled.

"Right on time"

However, his smile promptly dropped from his face and was replaced by a scowl.

Monica practically ran down the path to her destination, brushing past some people pretty carelessly.

"Hey Monica, calm down, OK?" Jack tried.

"I'll calm down when I get there!" she told him.

"Come on, it's not like he was gone for ten years, just one month, calm down!" Max appeared in front of her.

She shoved him aside as well.

Monica finally stopped, looking forward to see Geo through a window, patiently drinking tea.

She practically ran to the building when all of a sudden, she was stopped by a boy on a bike.

"Hang on, it's too dangerous to go any further"

And when she tried to move him out of the way, he simply hit her in the arm.

"Let me through! That's my brother over there!"

"Yes, I am aware you are going to Geo West, but I have been instructed by him to keep you, a Mister Jack, and a Mister Max back until an appointed time."

"How do you know who we are?" Jack asked.

"I know a lot Madam West, I also know about Geo's X-Omega Kamen Rider Form. That's a given actually, considering I was his partner for a month"

"A month? You were with him for the time he was missing?" Max asked.

"Yes, and before you accuse me of kidnapping him, I was also kidnapped with him, so you can't blame me."

The boy finally took his helmet off, setting it onto his bike and looking emotionlessly at Monica.

"Who are you?"

"Hikaru Kazuraba, nice to meet you" Hikaru adjusted his glasses, "Now before you start complaining to me about getting out of your way, be quiet, the show's about to start."

"The show?"

Hikaru simply pointed behind him.

Monica, Jack and Max looked behind him to see Geo standing before a crowd of monsters, several of which were on the ground behind him. Also, Seth was beside him.

Dyllon and Holt clashed blades.

"Come on buddy, snap out of it!" Dyllon shouted.

Holt responded by punched Dyllon in the chest and sending him flying backwards.

"In that case…" Dyllon shifted his pickaxe to gun mode and blasted Holt back. He shifted it to sword mode and charged again.

But as he slashed downwards, his suit strangely dissolved into black energy and his weapon vanished.

It took a few minutes for this to register.

Dyllon carefully looked up at Holt and then ran with Holt hot on his tail.

Geo and Seth simply stared at Dymorphus Ace, who was standing beside the Foneys, almost ready to attack.

"So, where's your boss? I think it's safe to presume that she's here as well"

"So you noticed me?" Xenus appeared out of nowhere, standing beside Dymorpus Ace.

"You really should be surprised? Did you honestly think that we wouldn't find you? Especially since the Red Ranger reeks of evolutionary energy."

"Well, that was the plan" Geo grinned.

"Excuse me?"

Geo smirked and snapped his fingers. The Kabuto Zecter zoomed by and hit the Foneys, quickly knocking them aside.

"What was that for?"

"Because, by getting rid of the Foneys, I can explain properly. You see, I intentionally gave Seth something that would allow him to be tracked by you, so we could settle this and we could all go home"

"What are you referring to human?"

"I purposely led you here to be defeated, and I did so with the help of the friendship of Seth and I"

"And how on earth will this help you?"

"Because, any moment now, the rest of the "VivoFighters" will show up to confront a monster. And the one who was knocked into the ocean? She will return solely to help Seth get a bit of directive for this battle"

"Geo" Seth warned him.

"Trust me. Dyllon will arrive due to monster call, as will Holt and Duna is standing right there. Eon will show up because he told them about the monster and Rosie is coming anyways. However, what you couldn't expect, is that they're not the only heroes here"

At this point, Hikaru had his helmet back on and drove up between the two groups. "Hello" he simply waved.

"Say hi to Hikaru everyone."

Flashback:

"Quit mumbling" Geo punched in a few numbers and put the phone to his ear.

"Hello? Yes it's me…"

"You've made a big risk calling this number" Hikaru's voice came up on the other end.

"I know..."

"That tone, I've heard it once before… you have a plan that requires me don't you? Let me guess it's going to be unbelievable? I didn't believe the last one"

"I don't believe it either"

End Flashback.

"So you're resting your hope on a single boy?"

"Little fun fact, a single Kamen Rider is as strong as an entire team of Power Rangers or Super Sentai members. And it just so happens we have three."

"And you plan to bring in the Power Rangers?"

"No, I plan to strengthen their bond. And it just so happens that it'll happen as their watching the battle live."

"What?"

At this moment, a wave of water hit the monsters.

Turning in place, Seth, Geo, and Hikaru saw as Rosie and Eon ran up to them.

"Hey guys, I'm back!"

"But, how did you survive! You were paralyzed and blasted so far into the ocean!" Seth said.

"Because, she's based off a water element and I think it would be best to assume that she can breath underwater after adapting due to her boosted "Cross Ranger Form", correct?" Hikaru looked at Geo.

"Correct assumption."

Flashback

Geo turned back to the ocean, looking out onto it. He noticed a small object on a nearby shore, but I could barely tell what it was. His eyes widened, it was Rosie, who looked soaked to the bone, but perfectly fine.

End Flashback

"Now any minute now, Dyllon and Holt will appear."

As if on cue, Dyllon ran in and hid behind Seth. Shadow appeared as well and glared at the group.

"Seth, call it"

Seth whistled and the Spider Zecter jumped off Holt's brace and he detransformed, looking over himself in confusion.

"I forgot to mention, because Seth is Kabuto and Dark Kabuto, that also means he has the strongest Zecter, and you know what they say about leaders. You follow them, which is what the Zecters do."

"Well, thanks for holding them off" Eon said.

He held out his morpher.

"VivoFighters: Aopteryx Power!"

Nothing happened.

"What? Aopteryx Power!" he tried again. Nothing.

"That's not going to work.

"It's supposed to though; we didn't activate the kill function"

"I did. You see, I figured since you guys could kill the signal of Seth's morpher from a remote source but not kill the source itself, I figured I could do the same with Seth's morpher. I just set up several dozen firewalls and sent out a pulse through the technology you guys have to deactivate your morphers for all but one function, and even then it won't work for a couple hours. So basically, Seth's is the only one that works, even if for a few hours."

Flashback:

"Give it here" he took the phone from Duna and looked at the back, where wiring was exposed. He pulled a few wires and reconnected them as well. However, what no one else noticed was that the back of his hand was glowing and that he let a small light travel up the wire before he finished up and handing it back to her. "And if you leave without questioning I'll give you a device to transform like Seth's"

"That was what you were doing with his morpher?" Duna looked at Geo in shock.

"Geo… what did you do?" Seth turned to Geo with a shocked expression.

"I'll explain later" Geo placed his hands on his belt.

Access

"Geo West. A plan like that can be a huge gambit depending on what you require for it to work. But that just makes it all the more interesting" Hikaru looked at Geo.

The corners of Geo's lip curved upwards into a smile.

"Now, I've gathered you all here to finish this, and because some of you have been less then motivated to accomplish your respective goals, we're going to be a bit of a "goal" that you have to surpass." He pointed at the Fossil Rangers (minus Seth).

"You people quite easily gave up on your friend. You may deny it all you like, but deep down you know it's the truth. The second you go back to being a team again is the second you guys are as strong as you were before Seth vanished."

He pointed to Seth next.

"You need to stop with all of this "I'm not a human, I'm a monster" and go back to your friends"

He finished pointing and looked at Xenus and the Foneys, who looked confused.

"Now for you guys. It's time for it to be over, and I'm done waiting."

Geo removed the object off the side of his belt.

Kid, I'm just going to point this out, this is going to make you seem arrogant and heartless. A voice spoke up in his head.

Why do you sound surprised? This is who I am now. Deal with it.

Well, we might as well go along with it. The other one added her thoughts to the matter.

Geo held up the object.

Hikaru took out a phone and placed a card into it before placing it onto his belt.

Upload! Belt!

He pulled the front of his bike off and held it up before pulling out a card.

Seth looked worriedly between the two of them and held his arm up, the Kabuto Zecter appearing in his hand.

"Henshin" the three spoke in unison.

Insert, Energize! X-Guardian, Engage!

HENSHIN! CHANGE BEETLE!

Change-Cyclone Card!

Within moments, X-Omega, Kabuto (Rider Form), and Storm were all standing side-by-side.

"Ten no michi iki, I'll find My Way" Kabuto said.

"Seth…" Dyllon was surprised by the revelation.

Eon simply growled under his breath.

"Saa, let's raise up a storm!" Storm said.

X-Omega simply clapped his hands together, as if dusting them off.

"Geo… what are you doing?" Monica asked.

Max and Jack could only watch as this happened.

"Geo, be careful" May breathed.

The three Riders charged.

Storm weaved around the Foneys attacks and countered with a few punches and kicks of his own.

He took out two cards from a pouch on the side of his belt and opened a slot on the center, sliding in the two cards before closing the slot.

Weapon-Cyclone Saber, Cyclone Shield!

As his chest plate popped off, he grabbed a handle on the back with his left hand and grabbed the handle on the top with his right, pulling a sword from its sheath. Striking across another Foney, he kicked outwards and hit one in the stomach before slashing across its chest.

X-Omega punched forward, hitting one of the Foneys before his spun in a circle and kicked another in the head. He slammed one another in the chest, sending it back into more of its allies.

He took out a key and placed it in his belt.

Key #02: Sword Engaged!

His sword appeared. He caught it in the air reverse-handed and spun around, hitting several of the monsters. However, when he was done, he turned to Dymorphus Ace and got ready before charging.

Slashing wide, he missed when Dymorphus Ace jumped out of range of his attacks. Jumping forward again, he swung his sword around and missed, but due to momentum, he kept spinning and slammed his foot into its chest.

As it stumble backwards, he swung his sword around so he was holding it regularly and stabbed Dymorphus Ace in the chest before tossing him over head.

Kabuto and Xenus faced off.

Kabuto swung forward, but Xenus dodged out of the way of his attack and punched him in the chest. Kabuto took one step back and attempted to kick her, successfully hitting her back.

Kabuto pulled out his Kunai and Xenus took out a weapon that resembled Rosie's ElasWhip and attacked.

The two clashed back and forth, their weapons managing to hit each other over and over again, barely causing each other damage.

Kabuto threw his Kunai at Xenus and hit the panel on his belt.

CLOCK UP!

He blurred forward and ran around Xenus, hitting her with every pass as the Kunai came closer.

CLOCK OVER!

Kabuto appeared in front of Xenus and grabbed the Kunai as it came towards him before stabbing Xenus in her shoulder.

Xenus howled in pain and a blue liquid seeped out of the wound. Xenus raised her arm up and water suddenly appeared, knocking Kabuto off her.

She pried the Kunai out of her shoulder and tossed it away, holding the wound.

"Dymorphus Ace! Finish this!"

She vanished into thin air.

The three Riders met up again, staring down the enemies.

They all reached to their belts.

1-2-3! RIDER KICK!

Upload! Elemental Break!

X Guardian! X Burst:Kick Engaged! / Kick Engaged!

The three Riders got into individual ready stances.

They all jumped into the air, their sights on Dymorphus Ace.

"Cyclone Vortex!" Storm announced as he spun in a circle and formed a drill-like storm.

"X Burst Kick!" X-Omega shouted, an X forming at his feet, the two lines spinning at the center.

"Rider Kick!" Electricity moved from Kabuto's belt to the horn on his head then to his right foot.

The three fell towards Dymorphus Ace and impacted at the same time, causing an explosion.

When the explosion died down; Storm, X-Omega, and Kabuto remained, facing away from the spectators.

"Geo" May whispered.

"Seth" Rosie responded.

The three turned around.

However, there was an explosion and they dove out of the way as Dymorphus Ace suddenly grew giant.

"I see, so an evolved Destructor can grow to giant form without one of those devices…" X-Omega folded his arms.

"What do we do, we can't morph" Duna said.

"Can't we call the Zords?" Rosie asked.

"No, our morphers are shut down, even if we could summon the Zords, it could be dangerous to use the Zords unmorphed without the proper adjustments."

"You think I didn't plan for this?" X-Omega crossed his arms, not taking his eyes off Dymorphus Ace.

"What did you do this time?" Dyllon sighed.

Flashback

"I know what you said, and I don't care, these aren't just regular Medals, they're Zords I helped create. And since the others can't do anything right now, or even summon their MegaZord if needed, it's up to you to take care of that"

End Flashback

"That's what you meant" Kabuto realized.

"Oi, you can worry about trusting me later, for now there's a giant monster to kill."

Kabuto hesitantly looked at X-Omega and nodded. Taking out his morpher, he opened it up and inserted one medal.

Typing in a code, he activated it.

He threw his arm to the sky, a light shining from his morpher before a symbol of a animal appeared and shot into the sky, transforming. However, what appeared was a large mammoth, which roared.

"A Mammoth Zord?" Rosie looked at it.

"Wrong, it's not done yet." X-Omega said.

The Mammoth ran forward before it jumped into the air, shifting around before it landed back on the ground, metal tracks forming under it. The Mammoth Zord had (somehow) shifted around to form a cyan train. It still had the mammoth head on the front, and there were parts that stuck out on the sides, resembling appendages. It began moving on the rails, more forming in front of it as it moved.

"Wait, did that Mammoth just transform into a train?" Eon looked at it in awe.

"Yes, this is VivoZord #14: Mammoth-Liner!"

"Then that means…" Kabuto took out the other medal and activated it in his morpher.

The same process happened, except this time it was a yellow T-Rex like creature.

"A Carchar?" Duna said.

"Let me guess it's going to change?" Storm asked.

X-Omega simply pointed, showing it had already transformed.

This time, it had the Carchar head on the front and appendages, but the difference between Mammoth-Liner and Carcher-Liner was that it was about a quarter smaller. It started to move as well, rails forming with it.

The two trains moved around Dymorphus Ace, attacking and disorienting it.

"…why trains?" May asked.

"Seth, come on, time to fight" X-Omega ignored her question.

"Uh…" just as she opened her mouth again, X-Omega ran forward, Kabuto shaking his head before following.

"Hang on Geo!" Monica shouted, getting the boy in question to stop.

"You can't leave until you tell us what's going on!"

"What's going on?" X-Omega pivoted so his side was facing Monica and he was barely looking at her. "I'm doing my job to defeat the monsters. On the opposite perspective, one could see you as a nuisance who is disrupting me as this happens" he pointed to Dymorphus Ace, who was trying to attack the trains and causing damage to the city..

"So for now, I suggest you wait until the matter is resolved, I'll answer your questions later"

And with that, X-Omega turned and ran.

The two Riders stopped as the trains continued to face off against Dymorphus Ace.

Mammoth-Liner drove into it, its tusks catching it before Carchar-Liner sped by, biting into it as it passed.

"What now?" Kabuto asked.

"What else? We pilot the Zords, and we win" X-Omega remarked before snapping his fingers. "Carchar-Liner"

The yellow train suddenly changes course and stops in front of the two. X-Omega simply walked to the door and walked in.

He walked through a hallway and entered a room with a simple pedestal in the center. He took his sword and slotted it into the pedestal, starting the system.

X-Omega pulled a lever, causing the train to start moving again.

Kabuto watched as the train moved before he took out his own Kunai.

The Mammoth-Liner suddenly stopped in front of him.

Sighing, he entered the train and moved into a room almost identical to the one in Carchar-Liner.

He inserted the Kunai into the slot on the pedestal and pulled a lever, the train starting to speed forward.

The two trains drove through Dymorphus Ace, sending it flying.

"Now, let's see what this does" X-Omega pulled one of the levers and pushed his sword forward.

"Crush Bullet!" The mouth on the Carcher opened and a large boulder shot out, hitting Dymorphus Ace.

"Got it: Freezing Spray!" Kabuto announced, twisting a dial and then pushing a button.

The "Trunk" on the front of the train extended, shooting out a cyan laser that hit the giant monster, freezing it solid.

Mammoth-Liner stopped, as did Carchar-Liner.

"I think I'm getting the hang of this… somewhat." Kabuto said, "Hey, let's see if these things can combine while he's thawing."

"I don't think I designed a MegaZord function for this"

"That doesn't matter, they don't have to be designed to combine, you just have to have the right spirit!"

Kabuto pulled one of the levers all the way back and spun one of the dials.

"Initiate MegaZord Formation!"

The Carchar-Liner folded at the middle and moved upwards, creating legs. The front and back folded up to form feet. The Carchar head popped off.

The Mammoth-Liner split into five pieces. Four of them were part of the body with the fifth being the Mammoth head. The sides attached to each other to form a torso and the remaining two pieces attached to the top of the attached pieces, forming arms.

The torso and the legs attached and the Carchar head connected at the waist, locking it in place. Finally, the Mammoth head attached to the top of the torso, the part under the trunk opening to reveal a face.

---

Inside a large room, two panels in the floor opened up and from them, Kabuto, X-Omega, and the pedestals they used appeared.

"Rail Strike MegaZord!" Kabuto shouted.

X-Omega looked around the room. "How interesting, you managed to do something I haven't thought possible. Another surprise I suppose" he shrugged.

Kabuto turned to him and nodded. The two of them faced the front, where they could see Dymorphus Ace.

The two pushed the handles of their weapons forward.

The MegaZord got into a ready stance before it walked to Dymorphus Ace and punched it in the chest.

Dymorphus Ace was knocked backwards and shook its head. Just as it regained its bearings, it was subject to a punch in the face, sending it crashing into a building.

"I hope no one was in there" X-Omega commented.

Kabuto looked over briefly but looked back almost immediately.

"Quake Break!" X-Omega snapped his fingers.

The giant robot reared its leg back and sent it around, kicking Dymorphus Ace in the chest and knocking it off the building.

"Freeze Pillar!" Kabuto held his hand out.

This time, the robot held its arm back and cyan energy covered it before punching forward, a subzero cold attack making contact with Dymorphus Ace.

The monster fell but almost immediately got back up and flew into the air, igniting in flames and preparing to drop down for an attack.

"Well, this is where it ends" X-Omega replied, pulling another lever and spinning a dial.

Kabuto nodded and copied X-Omega's movements.

The two of them pulled their weapons out of the slots and held them out.

Energy began to cover the MegaZord.

"Rail Crush Strike!" X-Omega slashed in an X-shape with his sword.

The MegaZord kicked with its right leg and punched with its left hand, rails shooting out and hitting Dymorphus Ace. As they formed, an apparition of Mammoth-Liner and Carchar-Liner formed on the rails and struck the monster, trapping it in ice and stone.

"Overload!" Kabuto slashed downwards.

Finally, as their target was falling to the ground, the MegaZord drove forward, rails forming underneath its feet before it drove through the frozen enemy, breaking it into dozens of pieces.

"Alright, that's how you get it done" X-Omega cracked his knuckles.

"I haven't used that phrase in forever."

"I don't care, I'm using it now"

The group watched as the giant robot before them disappeared, the two figures piloting it jumping in front of them.

Kabuto and X-Omega walked to the group.

"Are you guys alright?" Kabuto asked.

"We're fine" Rosie answered.

"Okay, now Geo, tell me what's going on!" Monica said.

"Wouldn't you like to know?"

"Excuse me?"

There was a green X that lit up on the back of X-Omega's hand.

Tell me Monica, what exactly happened while I was gone? He asked in her head.

Well, for starters, you missed the Halloween dance and the Winter dance is coming up, why do you ask?

What have you been doing while I've been gone?

Going about my business like last time.

You shouldn't have done that.

It's my life isn't it?

No it's not. This is not your life. Your life is back in our world with everyone else, have you thought about that? When we first arrived here, we noticed that it was in the middle of breakfast before the Foreign Exchange program thing. So that led me to believe: we're in someone else's life.

And, what's your point?

My point is that because these aren't our lives, we shouldn't be living through them. We should be finding a way back home.

Well I can't exactly do that, you've been missing for months!

And that's my fault! You couldn't have at least found a way to look for me?

No, because there was no trace to look for you at all with!

I left one behind just for help! You couldn't be bothered to search for it. Why? Because you were busy living your life in a fantasy, trying to "correct" everything in my absence.

Geo, now you and I both know that's not true! You can't go treating me this way, I'm your sister! The rage was coming off of her in waves. It was almost parallel to the ones coming off of Geo.

No, you THINK you are! We both know that you're not my real sister and you should stop pretending you are! There is a mission that we have to accomplish, and it involves your real sister! The one we left behind in our world!

And what's wrong with the Aelita here!

Don't you get it! When we got here, they knew you even though we never met them until that point. That mean that in this alternate world, there is an alternate Geo and Monica. And we took their lives. Does that not bother you!

Geo, there's nothing we can do about it!

How daft are you! This isn't our life to live! We can't steal there life and live it for them just because we were given a second chance! That's not how the world works!

Even so, you don't know what I've been doing! All you're doing is making assumptions!

Sorry Monica, but I've seen your memories, I've seen what you've been doing. And they look exactly like the first time around!

Geo… you invaded my mind! You can't do that!

Why not? YOU do it all the time! So is it just because I do it this ONE time before you that it's wrong?

What happened to you that you turned into this?!

Wouldn't you like to know?

The X on his hand faded away, allowing X-Omega to regain his senses. May was trying to shake him awake.

"Geo! Geo!" he stopped her.

"What is it?"

"You froze up there and it really made me worry there for a second"

"Don't worry I'm fine"

X-Omega was about to reach for his belt, but he stopped and looked at Duna.

"You. I made a deal with you, didn't I?"

"Excuse me?"

The X returned to his hand and he held it up. Energy covered it and it took the shape of a purple blade with a slot on the back.

In his other hand, a light purple and silver robotic scorpion formed.

"Use this" he shoved both items into her hands. The scorpion climbed onto her shoulder and got comfortable.

"Good luck, Sasword. Seth, let's go" X-Omega walked away with Kabuto following.

"Where are you going?" May asked.

"We count as missing. We're going to go get caught" was all he said.

"I'll see you guys again soon" Storm waved as he left.

News Broadcast:

News lady: In other news, two missing boys have been found inside an alleyway. Geo West and Seth Stilobas, there images can be seen here. The boys themselves claim to have no recollection of anything of the past month. They are currently being given treatment but their families and friends are being taken in for questioning. Otherwise, Geo will be sent back to a private school along with his friends for treatment that is believed to help him "come out" with more information. More on this subject after the break.

Hikaru, Gimmy, and Darry were sitting in a room watching the broadcast. There was a console on the side and a platform where Hikarus's bike sat.

Hikaru turned off the TV and stood up stretching.

"Well, I guess it's a happy ending then" he said.

"No it's not. Because you went missing, we're behind on our travels, we can make due by skipping a few dimensions, but otherwise that's a few less people who can help us in the long run" Darry scolded him.

"Now now, Darry, we both know it's not my fault I went missing" Hikaru walked to another part of the room.

"Still, you can travel dimensions, why couldn't you just come find us?" Gimmy spoke up.

"Because, even if I could get back here, it would take me forever to get back to find you guys. And I couldn't just leave Seth and Geo behind. I may seem heartless, but I do care for others." Hikaru walked to the console and flipped a few switches.

"And didn't Simon stay with you guys for exactly the same reason?" he asked.

"Yeah and he left almost immediately after you showed up" Gimmy said.

"Can you blame him? He can barely stand me" Hikaru pointed out.

"Well, enough of that, what now?" Darry asked.

"We travel, simple as that." Hikaru pulled a lever and a revving noise was heard.

Seth sat in a hospital room, his friends gathered around him.

"Thanks for showing up you guys" he said.

"Why wouldn't we? This is a serious matter what with all the reporters and the psychiatrists and we wanted to come and make sure you were all right" Rosie said.

"Thanks guys. I feel like I can get back to battling once I get out of here"

"We specifically held back on Leveling Up until you came back." Duna said.

"We wasted two chances to go Level Up" Holt sighed. Rosie elbowed him in the stomach.

"We were barely ready to battle anyways" Dyllon added.

Seth looked at all of his friends.

"Everyone… I can't help but think… everything is going to change. And we're all going to feel the effects of what's coming"

"What are you saying, Seth?" Dyllon asked.

"If anything changes we do what we always do" Rosie said.

"We face it head on and defeat it" Holt decided to add.

"Especially now with upgrades" Duna looked to her shoulder, where the purple scorpion Zecter was resting.

Geo stood in the courtyard of the school with people loitering about and some of them noticing him. He looked around at the people who were most likely talking about him.

"Hello Kadic" he looked at the building before him. "I'm back. And things are going to change around here"

Finally, he raised his right hand up and pulled his glove down before pushing his glasses up with the same hand.
