Chapter 13: X-Omega Vs. Lyoko

A/N Little note, this chapter will start to become rushed by a lot at the end but by now I was just rushing. Sorry. More will be explained next chapter.

[Third Person P.O.V.]

May watched Geo from a distance as he began to tell someone off for something mundane. Again.

She sighed.

"What happened to you, Geo" she whispered under her breath.

"I didn't know how I felt about him before and I don't know now" a voice said next to her.

May snapped her head to the right. It was Keith.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"I get that Geo seems like a dick. So I'm not here to flirt, because I know how important he is to you."

"Is that it?"

"He also scares me" Keith admitted.

"Didn't have to know that" May said.

Keith looked at May and then walked away.

Geo stopped with what he was doing and began to leave. May began to follow, but hesitated and stopped completely.

Should I follow to help…? Or should I just leave him…? May thought to herself.

Geo walked to another class, holding one of his keys.

Kid, don't you think you should tone down the attitude a bit? You're starting to seem like a real piece right now. The male voice in his head told him.

Look, just leave it for now, okay? I really need to focus on figuring this out.

Figuring what out? The female voice asked.

It's nothing, okay?

The voices went silent.

Geo continued to walk and turned a corner, bumping into someone.

"Oh, sorry Aelita" he said before he tried to walk around her.

"Hey, Geo… is something wrong?" Aelita asked.

"It's nothing important. But I wanted to say sorry for how I acted before" Geo confirmed before he attempted to walk away.

However, he immediately bumped into something strange. And by strange, it was that nothing was in front of him. Geo looked curiously at the blank space and felt around it with his hand.

"You're seeing this, right?" Geo asked the girl behind him.

"Could it be an attack by Xana?" Aelita suspiciously asked.

"It does seem possible, but I doubt what possible use that Xana could see in an invisible wall" Geo stuck his hand out again and pushed against the wall. In the next second, it vanished, leaving him to stumble forward.

As he looked down, he spotted a clock, which was stopped at 4:16. In a blink of an eye, it was changed to a different time.

"Are you okay?" Aelita asked.

Geo ignored the question and looked at the area he just felt a wall in.

"How intriguing. Hey Aelita, do me a favor and keep this a secret from Jeremy and them. I think I need to launch my own investigation into this, so I'll need your help with this?"

"What? Why me?" Aelita tilted her head in confusion.

"There's something much larger going on then what's being let on. I intend to figure it out. But because of what's recently been happening, I can't trust anyone more then I could throw them."

"But… why me?"

"You're the closest person to me right now in the literal sense, but in the figurative sense, there's Monica and May. Monica and I… aren't on the best terms as of now, and May… I can't really talk about it" Geo admitted. "Anyways, can I trust you with this?"

"Sure." Aelita shrugged.

"Thanks" Geo nodded and left.

Aelita watched as he left and walked in the opposite direction.

But unnoticed to both of them, Odd peeked out from around the corner, shocked at what he heard.

[Jack's P.O.V.]

The entire group, minus Odd, Aelita, May, and Geo sat in Jeremy's room.

"Why did you call us here Jeremy?" Monica asked.

"To be honest, there are two things we need to talk about:

"The first thing will lead into the second. Firstly, we've all began to notice that something is going on with Geo." Most of the group nodded. "I'm beginning to fear that he may eventually turn on us, so we need to get rid of him"

"Jeremy, don't tell me you're thinking what I think you're thinking" Monica looked dangerously at the sandy-haired boy.

"Yes, we have to think about getting Geo out of the group"

"What? Why?! What on earth could have been so bad that he deserves to be kicked out?" I stood up and demand. The group falls silent.

"Let's face it, Geo has saved our behinds so many times now, and we are not just going to abandon him like this!"

"He's becoming a dangerous liability Jack! What other choice do we have!?" Jeremy demanded.

"Liability or not, he's still the only one of us who can face off against the monsters that Xana has brought into the real world!" I snapped.

"Jack! What's gotten into you!?" Monica shouted.

I froze up. What just happened?

"That brings me to my next point. We've developed a device that we can use to help fight back. Ulrich, if you will?" Jeremy motioned to his friend.

Ulrich nodded and stood up, before taking out a strange device and placing it onto his waist.

"Henshin"

Within moments, an armored warrior stood before all of us.

"This is the Lyoko System. Theoretically, we can all use this, and not just one person. But first, we need your Virtualization buckles"

With some hesitation, most of the group took out their buckles and passed them to Jeremy, but Monica paused for a brief moment before giving it to them.

I stood up and opened my mouth. "No. You're putting us all at risk with this plan. Goodbye" I left the room and walked down the hallway.

Immediately, I paused at the stairs.

"What… just happened?" I looked back and forth between the stairs and the direction I came from.

"Jack?" a voice came from the stairs.

I turned around and saw Odd standing there.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"Sorry, it's just… something happened back there, and I'm kind of weirded out. What's going on with you?"

"I just heard something I shouldn't have" Odd simply said. He walked past me.

-Later in the week-

[Third Person P.O.V.]

Geo and Aelita were currently sitting at the factory. Geo was at the computer, looking through a document while Aelita was behind him, watching.

"So if I'm hearing this correctly, then this "Royal Brace" should be able to boost your power?" Aelita said.

"Sounds about right. But the problem is that I have no idea how to fully activate it. I could go the usual way I do, and program it to do whatever, but I've never actually tried to do it for something like this"

"Maybe we could check out the data Jeremy has collected on these" Aelita took out her buckle and showed it to Geo.

"Problem is that Jeremy has taken most of the buckles except for mine, yours, Odd's, and Jack's. So in other words, most of the data can't be accessed without him noticing that I've broken through the firewalls. And another factor is that there's still something to be done about the rest of the locked features on this belt" Geo motioned

"Locked features?" Aelita tilted her head.

"It's a bit too strange to explain right now. But in essence, it's those forms I get, like X-Guardian, or O-Shooter, or even M-Archer. However, I haven't really seen what the rest are."

"But you accessed them with those keys. Can't you, in theory, access the rest with more of those keys."

Geo looked thoughtfully at the ground for a moment before he reached into his pocket and pulled out several keys. He got up from the chair and kneeled down on the ground before placing the keys in front of him.

"The keys are numbered from "01" to "12" and they're each labeled by a specific letter. "01" and "02" have X, "03" and "04" have O, "05" and "06" have M-"

"I get the point" Aelita interrupted. "Each of them have a letter, but there are six letters shared by two each."

"And they spell XOMEGA apparently"

"Took you this long to check to realize this?" Aelita asked in deadpan tone. "So what if I did?" Geo shrugged.

Geo picked up one of the keys and looked over it. "Key #07: Codenamed E" he stood up and reached to his belt.

Access!

He took off the object from the side of his belt and inserted the key into it.

"So what is that object called?"

"What?" Geo stopped. Aelita pointed at the object with the key in it.

"I... don't know"

"You don't know what it's called… yet you keep using it" Aelita pointed out.

"Well whatever it was named, I forgot it" Geo admitted. "I'll just call it the Key Drive"

"Seriously? You just hand-wave it like that? I thought names were supposed to be important."

"They are, which is why I'm trying to give a good, fitting name to things like this" Geo pointed out loudly.

Kid, we just want names!, the male voice said in Geo's head.

He does have a valid point though. The female voice pointed out.

Whose side are you on?!

"Geo, you okay?" Aelita asked.

"Hm? Yeah I'm fine, just thinking about something." He took the key out and inserted the Key Drive into his belt.

Insert!

"Henshin" he brought the edge of his right glove down further before spinning the disc on his belt.

There was a brief pause.

…

Error.

The Key Drive ejected itself from Geo's belt, clattering onto the ground.

Geo looked down at his belt.

"I didn't even know that was possible"

Aelita sighed and dropped her head into her palm.

Suddenly, the computer began beeping. Geo looked towards it. "There's an active tower in Lyoko. You go ahead, I'll stay out here"

Aelita nodded and headed downstairs.

Later…

Monica and Max stood in front of Jeremy in his room.

"So what did you want?"

"Well, I finally managed to integrate the data into the Lyoko Driver, but I need a bit more time with these" he held up their belt buckles.

"Does this mean we can use that belt?" Max asked.

"Yes, but as of right now it's in Ulrich's possession and we have yet to test it out."

"And there's the fact that we have yet to get the other data from the other belts, right?" Monica confirmed.

Jeremy merely nodded and looked back at his computer. "Anyways, there was an active tower in Lyoko, I checked the system and found Aelita was already in Lyoko, but I need you guys to check up on her for me"

"Wait, wasn't Geo already there though?" Max asked.

"I don't know, that's the problem. I can't tell who is there so I just need you guys to go check for me"

The two nodded and walked out of the room. When they got outside, suddenly, the ground in front of them exploded.

"What the crap!" Max shouted.

When the smoke cleared, there was a blue and white figure standing before them. The figure was humanoid with blue armor on its thighs and biceps and white skin. In the center of its chest was a blue version of Xana's symbol. Its head was designed after a manta ray.

"A Manta?" Monica tilted her head in confusion.

The Manta ran at the two of them.

Monica and Max dodged out of the way. The two of them reached for their buckles, but realized their mistake.

"Please tell me you didn't give your buckle to Jeremy." Monica asked. "What would you say if I did?"

"I'd kill you if we survived this"

Max was thrown aside. "Good to know!" he shouted.

Monica stood up and held her hand out to the Manta and prepared to attack.

All of a sudden, a car crashed into the Manta and shoved it out of the way. From the Driver's side, the door opened and Ulrich appeared, closing the door before standing in front of Monica.

"Ulrich? Where'd you get a car?"

"That's not important" Ulrich showed he was wearing the Lyoko Driver and he took out his buckle before sliding it into the belt. "Henshin!" he spun the two discs. Two waves of energy emerged from the discs, spinning around each other and merging before impacting his chest.

It disassembled and reconnected all over his body, forming his suit and armor.

Kamen Rider Lyoko took the katanas from their sheath before running at the Manta and beginning to slash at it. The Manta received all of the slashes and subsequently fell backwards.

When it got back up, it brought its arms back and threw them forward again, launching several white spheres that hit Lyoko and exploded, launching him backwards.

Lyoko used his katanas to divert most of the bombs. He began running at the Manta and knocking aside every bomb, diverting it as they exploded in the area around them.

"Stop!"

[Geo's P.O.V]

Kid! Calm down!

There's no time to calm down!

Currently, I am riding a bike (I'm not saying where I got it) to Kadic. I have to stop Ulrich from whatever he's doing so I'm going at top speed. I made it to Kadic and got off the bike, clumsily I admit, as I got stuck and fell, but that's beside the point.

Running for a bit, I get to where I need to be. Kamen Rider Lyoko is fighting against the Manta with his katanas and sending bombs everywhere, causing them to explode on contact with the ground. Monica and Max were nearby.

"Stop!"

Lyoko looked at him briefly but looked back and began slashing at the Manta.

"Hey! Kamen Rider Lyoko! Stop! If you attack it, it'll destroy the school!" I shouted. "Geo, he's trying to stop it already!" Monica shouted back at him. "No! If he attacks the Manta then the bombs it releases will destroy the school."

"It was going to do that anyway!" Lyoko slashed at the Manta.

A single katana managed to bury itself into the Manta's shoulder.

"Matte! (Stop!) Henshin!" I ran to it.

Access! Insert! Energize! X-Guardian, Engaged!

Key #02, Sword, Engaged!

I ran to the fight with my X-Sword and slashed at my target. But my target was Lyoko. The Kamen Rider fell backwards from the attack and the Manta ran away.

"Hey! What are you dong, the monster's over there!?"

"Stop! If you destroy it, it will explode, and it will destroy you and everything in a 500 foot radius!"

"What?!" Lyoko turned around and saw the Manta running away.

Keys #03-04, O-Shooter, O Gun, Engaged!

Quickly, I ran in front of Lyoko and held the O Gun out, shooting the Manta in the back.

"What are you doing?" Lyoko shouted.

"We have to contain it! Otherwise, it'll run rampant." I pointed out as I looked at Lyoko.

Lyoko looked behind me for a brief moment before shoving me aside.

A red laser hit him out of nowhere, causing him to briefly convulse in pain as red energy traveled over his body.

"Oi, Lyoko, are you okay?" I asked.

The rider looked up at me and slashed at my chest. Falling backwards, I point my gun at him. "What's wrong with you? Is Kamen Rider Lyoko that bad a name?" I taunt.

Lyoko charged at me and slashed with both katanas. Ducking, I swept his leg out as he was running at me. He tumbled face first over my head. Spinning around, I pointed my gun at his chest as he was landing on the ground and rolling forward. One blast later, Lyoko is falling forward and rushing to regain his balance. He turned around and pointed his katanas at me again.

"You were good at fighting the other day. Let me guess, red light was mind control? Would pretty much explain the suddenly bad skills at fighting."

Uh, Kid, I think you should hurry up here.

"Oh hush you, I got this" I pointed my gun at Lyoko's chest and unleashed five shots. Lyoko blocked three of the five and slashed at my chest. Moving out of the way of one, I was struck in the chest with the other again and again. The O Gun fell out of my hand.

Lyoko kicked me in the shin, knocking me down before he slashed, sending me back.

I got up and looked straight at Lyoko. Suddenly, everything blurred around me. Rage coursed through my being.

Hey, Kid, you okay?

I grabbed at my key pouch and pulled out two of them, shoving them into my belt and activating them.

Keys #05-06, M-Archer, Strike Arrow, Engaged!

In M-Archer form, I slashed at Lyoko with the Strike Arrow, the Rider dodging every one of my strikes. However, he dodged one last time, only to discover I was leading him into a wall. I stuck the bow into his shoulder and dragged it down. Hard.

As sparks erupted, I moved backwards and shot him in the chest with an arrow. It impacted his chest. Quickly, I wrap my fingers around his neck tightly and threw him behind me. The bladed edge of the bow found its way into his arm.

Key Charge! Strike Arrow, Arrow Blitz, Barrage Engaged! / Barrage Engaged!

Hey! Stop!

The edge glowed and I buried the edge further into his arm, breaking through his armor. Lyoko cried out in pain and I slashed, the energy managing to cut deep enough to slice through the armor and suit from the left side of his stomach to his right shoulder.

I held the Strike Arrow out towards Lyoko and pulled the handle back. I fired. Lyoko rolled to the side and ran forward, stabbing towards my chest. I dodged out of the way and released the handle, firing a final energy blast at Lyoko. The arrow hit him in the chest and sent him flying.

The impact managed to dissolve his suit, revealing who was inside.

"Ulrich!?" I got out. The boy in questions squirmed in pain, clutching his left arm, where there was a rather deep cut and a lot of blood. Heck, there was even a cut from his stomach to his shoulder, but it was considerably not as deep the closer it got to his shoulder. Suddenly, everything returned to normal and my surroundings came back. I moved about an inch towards him in concern when someone tackled me to the ground.

Someone pulled at my belt.

What! What is happening?!

Kid! Do something! This belt can't come off, or else we can't communicate with you!

What exactly do you expect me to do!?

My belt wouldn't budge, but somehow, someone pulled the Key Drive out of it. My suit dissolved and I was still pinned to the ground.

"Get off me!"

"Sorry Geo, but I can't!"

Wait, WILLIAM!?

Well this was unexpected.

Two pairs of hands wrapped themselves around my arms and lifted me up. My glasses were a bit busted up but otherwise they were fine.

Holding me up on one side was William while Yumi had my other side.

Jeremy was looking at me angrily with my Key Drive in hand.

Well this can only go bad.

[Third Person P.O.V.]

William and Yumi held Geo up with Monica and Max on the sidelines. May was also there, tending to Ulrich. Jeremy looked at Geo angrily. "What was that about Geo? Couldn't let the spotlight be taken away from you?!"

"What the heck are you talking about?" Geo got out.

"You just attacked Ulrich out of the blue! Now look at him!" Jeremy pointed to Ulrich, who was being tended to by May.

Geo blinked. "Did… did you not see that Ulrich was hit by that red beam?"

"Whatever you're talking about, do not start! We trusted you to stop the monsters, but here you are attacking Ulrich because he-"

Geo broke free of Yumi and Williams grip and punched Jeremy in the face, knocking his glasses off his face.

He tried to punch again, but Yumi and William grabbed onto him again, preventing his movements.

"Let me go! I am not going to let you just assume this crap!" Geo shouted while struggling.

A figure ran up from where they were. May ran up and slapped Geo in the face.

"Stop it Geo!" she shouted. Monica and Max could only look in shock.

Jeremy pocketed the Key Drive.

"Until we can be sure that you are not a threat anymore, you're on suspension from this group!" Jeremy walked away.

Yumi and William let go of Geo. The boy in question collapsed to his knees.

Yumi walked away uncomfortably. "Sorry Geo" William patted him on the back. May looked away from Geo and walked away to help Ulrich.

Monica stormed after Jeremy and Max went to comfort Geo.

From the sidelines, Aelita suddenly ran in fro the sidelines, a frantic expression on her face.

"Geo, what happened?" she panted.
