Chapter 17: A New X-Omega
A/N: As of this chapter, there will be several plot holes that will be resolved, and there will also be some that will be made. I apologize for any confusion that I cause.

[Geo's P.O.V.]
I opened my eyes and saw that I was inside of a forest. Quickly, I began walking, looking through the woods for anything. Eventually, I stopped when I saw that there were two shadowy figures in the distance.
"About time you got here" one of the two spoke, their voice being Odd's.
"Shall we begin?" the other one spoke, their voice being Aelita's.
"So I'm facing off against you guys, right?" I asked.
The two nodded and revealed they had on X-Omega Drivers.
"Henshin!" the two shouted before they pulled out Key Drives and slid them into the Drivers.
O-Shooter, Engaged!
A-Hope, Engaged!
Within seconds, A-Hope and O-Shooter X-Omega stood before me.
"Ok, let's do this"
Hai! Are we ready to start? A female voice rang out in my head.
"Another voice?"
Call me Jena!
"Jena? That's an interesting name."
Why thank you! Now let's get started!
I nodded. "Now, to activate the Royal Brace I have to…" I pulled out the Royal Key Drive and placed it into the Royal Brace. I pressed a button on the side and rotated it 180 degrees around the brace.
X-Omega, Ready?
"Henshin!" I spun the Key Wheel.
X-Omega Peasant Form!
From the Brace, six balls of energy shot out. The six balls of energy swirled around me before they combined and impacted my chest.
About two feet away from me, a suit of armor formed before it split into several pieces and hovered over my skin. Gray energy covered my skin, creating a gray suit before the armor snapped into place. A helmet formed around my head.
The armor I wore was reminiscent of my X-Guardian form but it was much thinner. Across my chest was the title: "X-OMEGA" in all black letters.
My helmet was gray with an X over the front, taking the place of the visor.
I looked down at my armor.
"Peasant form?"
Just wait until you see the stronger versions of this!
"You're awfully cheery"
I was just brought to life! Why else would I be so happy? I heard a brief giggling in my head.
"Okay time's up!" O-Shooter shouted.
I looked back up at the two. They were charging at me.
I dodged out of the way of a punch from A-Hope before I spun around and kicked at O-Shooter, launching him back.
I hit at A-Hope, knocking her backwards before I jumped at O-Shooter.
Tackling him to the ground, I pulled one of the keys out of a pouch on the side of his belt and placed it in the Royal Brace, activating it.
O-Key! Powered Up!
On my chest, the O changed color so it was now purple.
Out of thin air, I pulled out the O-Gun and fired at A-Hope and O-Shooter.
Dashing towards the two, I swiped a key from A-Hope and activated it next.
A-Key! Powered Up!
The A on my chest turned pink.
A pair of wings emerged from my back.
I flew into the air and spun the Key Wheel.
O-Key! A-Key! Peasant X-Omega Break!
"Double Wing Blast!"
My wings glowed before I fired several energy blasts at the two, causing a small explosion.
When I landed on the ground, O-Shooter and A-Hope were getting off of the ground, their suits having disappeared.
"Alright, you won" A-Hope sighed.
"That was really easy" I said.
"But what was the purpose for fighting us?" O-Shooter asked.
"Eh?"
"You may have decided to fight for smiles and happiness or whatever, but until you get over your worst fears, you're not ready to unlock your new powers"
"Now, move along, you have four more of us to fight"
[May's P.O.V]
I carried Geo's body piggyback style through the sewers, careful not to drop him.
"Come on, almost there!" I said.
When I reached the ladder, I climbed upwards, moving onto the bridge and carrying Geo into the factory.
I made it to the supercomputer before I set Geo down so he was leaning against the wall.
"What do I do?" I paced back and forth, rubbing the back of my helmet. "Come on, think May!"
"Monica and the rest of them should have been here by now! What's taking them so long?" I headed outside and looked for anyone.
In the distance, I spotted something. It was the car, but it was stopped in the middle of the road with two figures fighting around it.
I ran towards it. When I reached it, it was just in time to see Zander slash at Lyoko and send her to the ground.
"Yumi!" I ran to my friends' side.
"So, the replacement is finally here." Zander said, resting his sword on his shoulder.
"What do you want?!" I demanded.
"Look around at all this destruction! It's so beautiful! I thought I may as well join in." Zander laughed.
I stood up and got into a ready stance.
"You're going to fight me? All right, let's go!" Zander charged at me.
[Geo's P.O.V.]
I walked through the forest, eventually reaching the city. I walked through the city, heading past the abandoned cars and such.
"What happened here?" I said aloud.
"We're in your mind. This is your current mental state." A voice said behind me.
Looking down at the ground, I sighed. "Of course. The second I say or do anything in here, I'm going to get a response"
I turned around. Behind me, there were two figures with X-Omega Drivers.
"So who are you two supposed to represent?"
"Take this seriously. We're much stronger then the other two you faced." One of them said in Jack's voice. In fact, I could actually see a bit of Jack's appearance in the shadows. Same for his companion, who looked a lot like Monica.
"Even so, let's get this over with" I shrugged.
"Henshin!"
M-Archer, Engaged!
G-Buster, Engaged!
M-Archer X-Omega and G-Buster X-Omega stood before me and got into ready stances.
"Okay, let's take care of this Jena" I said.
How are you still not getting the point of this? The usually cheerful voice asked.
"What do you mean?"
Seriously? Context clues and everything yet you still don't understand it at all.
"I know there's some big important lesson here but… for now I have to get back to my friends and help them."
*Sigh* fine, just move along. For the first time I can feel sadness. That pretty amazing actually.
"Not something you should be sounding happy about" I got tired of talking and got ready and charged at M-Archer and G-Buster, the two responding by charging at me as well.
I dodged out of the way of a punch from G-Buster and shoved him into M-Archer before reaching into the pouch and pulled out a key.
G-Key! Powered Up!
The G on my chest lit up and I held my arms out, the G-Breakers forming on my hands and feet. I kicked at the two, sending them farther away. One punch to G-Buster launched him farther back before I kicked at M-Archer, sending her away as well. I jumped up and kicked at M-Archer before flipping backwards. When I landed, I swiped a key from her pouch and activated it.
M-Key! Powered Up!
I drew the Strike Arrow from thin air and fired an attack at the two Riders before diving forward and slashing at them.
I spun the Key Wheel.
M-Key! G-Key! Peasant X-Omega Break!
The G-Breakers charged up with energy, as did the Strike Arrow. I unleashed an energy arrow at them, the arrow splitting into two. Quickly, I jumped into the air and fell towards the two before kicking, knocking them both aside with explosions.
M-Archer and G-Buster were both knocked out of their transformations.
"So, who's next?"
"You know, just because you're beating us doesn't mean you're learning a lesson at all. What's the point of gaining the Royal Brace if you can't use it properly?"
"I've already learned my lesson. I don't need another" I stated before I walked away from the two.
[May's P.O.V.]
Zander slashed across my chest, knocking my back further across the bridge. I attempted to punch at him, the G-Breakers making contact with his chest and knocking him back a step before I kicked at him.
Quickly, I activated another key.
Key #07: E-Striker, Engaged!
Key #08: E-Lancer, Engaged!
I slashed with the E-Lancer, striking Zander across the chest before he caught it with his hand. Zander ripped it from my hands and used both weapons to slash at my chest.
He lodged the E-Lancer into my chest and shoved me backwards before swinging upwards with his sword, smashing it across my helmet and breaking it open.
I rolled across the ground. When I got back up, I was using the E-Lancer as a support.
"You are not even the least bit CLOSE to my level!" Zander taunted.
"I…I don't care! I have to do what I can… for everyone's sake!" I raised the lance and charged with a shout.
[Geo's P.O.V.]
I traveled through the city, taking in how each building was becoming more and more ruined/destroyed.
"What happened here?"
We're inside of your mind, I think this represents part of your subconscious. Jena answered.
"My subconscious?"
Yes, the deeper we go inside, the more challenges we face and the more we see changes in our environment.
"But that would imply that deep inside my mind, everything is ruined"
You said it, not me.
I sighed and kept walking, continuing to look around at each building.
However, I reached one building that looked familiar.
"This is the school…" I walked into it, looking around the courtyard.
"That's right" another voice said.
"And cue the obligatory challenger" I turned to the source of the voice.
This time, standing there, there were two people. Only instead of being shadows or slightly resembling someone I knew, they looked exactly like both May and I.
"What in the world is up with these figures?" I sighed.
"While it's true that we look like your friends and yourself, more and more will we resemble them when you are closer to them"
"…okay well if you're supposed to be representing me then you need better grammar. And besides, even if you're supposed to represent me and May, why is it that Monica wasn't a clear figure like May was? Is that supposed to be implying that Monica isn't as important as May is to me?"
"Hey buddy, we only look like this because this is what YOU'RE mind is making us do, don't act innocent!" 'Geo' shouted.
"Let's just get this over with" I shrugged.
"Henshin"
X-Guardian, Engaged!
E-Striker, Engaged!
X-Guardian drew his Sword as E-Striker drew her lance.
I charged at the two of them.
X-Guardian slashed towards my head while E-Striker aimed for my chest. Diving through their attacks, I rolled across the ground and spun around, kicking E-Striker in the head before I punched X-Guardian in the face.
I swiped a key from X-Guardian and activated it in my belt.
X-Key! Powered Up!
The X on my chest lit up, allowing the X Sword to form in my hand.
Slashing across the two, I stabbed E-Striker. While taking note of X-Guardian stiffening, I slashed at him as well.
I swiped another key from E-Striker.
"You guys make this too easy"
E-Key! Powered Up!
With all of the symbols on my chest lit up, energy flowed through me before I spun the Key Wheel.
All Keys! Powered Up! Peasant X-Omega Break!
I drew my arm back, energy covering the X Sword. I glared at X-Guardian as the Rider got into a ready stance.
I slashed, unleashing a wide, rainbow colored wave of energy.
X-Guardian got prepared…
…when E-Striker intercepted the attack, screaming in pain as the energy caused a surge of pain to overcome her.
"MAY!" X-Guardian called.
"May?" I whispered to myself, confused.
E-Striker fell to the ground, changing back into May, who was unconscious and bruised all over.
X-Guardian immediately rested her in his lap, trying to awaken her.
"May! May! Come on wake up!" he shouted.
"What- what the heck is happening?" I wondered.
This is getting too sad. Understand this "Genius". This Geo isn't just a part of your subconscious who changed to fit you… it's you yourself.
"Me?"
Yes. While the others have been part of your mind, this you is the one that you've needed to awaken this entire time. This one is the parts of you that you've been trying to ignore, the one that wants to help everyone.
I looked down at the ground for most of her speech before I looked back up at X-Guardian, who was still struggling to wake up the unconscious 'May'.
When you stop holding back your emotions and let them go, you can unleash your true strength. This Geo is a perfect example of that. He wasn't afraid to face your attack head on it if meant getting the fight over with, and immediately regretted his plan because of May.
"But-but that's not the real May though"
That doesn't matter to him. So basically, deep down it doesn't matter to you either. This May is not the May that you know, but that doesn't change the fact that she is May, in essence. And to him, she means almost everything.
X-Guardian finally stopped what he was doing, shaking as if he was crying. 'May' didn't appear to be breathing.
Get ready for your worst fight ever: yourself.
X-Guardian gently set 'May' down and looked up at me, still shaking. Except this time… with anger and rage.
He grabbed his sword and charged at me while screaming.
I stabbed forward. However, he wove around the blade and stabbed me in the chest before slashing again and again.
As I stumbled backwards, X-Guardian took no chances and grabbed me by my neck before throwing me into the wall repeatedly.
He finished and pulled me back before throwing me even harder through the wall, causing me to break through it and roll across the ground.
Quickly, I got up and started to hold my sword up, only his sword reached my helmet first, breaking it open.
"You thought this would be easy, you were wrong!" he lifted me up by my throat.
"You can't keep your emotions down forever! If you think that you can just think your way through every fight, then you'll die before you can ever accomplish anything! You THINK you are strong but you are the weakest human being I've ever seen! And I'm you!" he released his grip on my throat.
I collapsed to the ground, choking and coughing for a breath.
"Goodbye, Geo West" X-Guardian held his sword at my head, preparing to swing downwards.
I panted on the ground for a few seconds more.
X-Guardian's grip tightened on his sword before he swung downwards.
Idiot.
Instantly, I moved upwards and rested on my leg. I reached up and grabbed the blade as it was coming down with both hands, cutting them open and causing blood to run down the blade.
"What?" I caught X-Guardian by surprise, allowing me to try and dive out of the way and let go of the blade. X-Guardian stumbled forward with his sword, accidentally cutting into my shoulder as I pulled the Key Pouch from my belt.
Turning around to see X-Guardian get his bearings back as he turned back to me, I quickly snapped the Key Pouch onto my Royal Brace, pulling out the six form change keys. X-Guardian charged at me with a roar. I slotted the keys and turned them one after the other until I got to the E key.
X-Guardian stabbed forwards towards my gut. I instantly slotted the E key and spun the disc.
All Keys! Powered Up! Peasant X-Omega Break!
I blocked the weapon with the Royal Brace by swinging my arms around myself before I punched forward, striking X-Guardian in the chest.
Energy shot from the Royal Brace into X-Guardian and traveled all over his body before exploding, sending us both flying.
We landed a fair distance from each other, our suits having disintegrated to have revealed we changed back to ourselves.
We both struggled to get up, getting onto our knees.
"I'm not done yet!" 'Geo' hissed.
"Well I am…" I got onto my two feet.
"What?" 'Geo' was surprised.
You're done fighting?
"Yes. These 'lessons' have been complete and utter BS."
"Tch. Well listen here-" 'Geo' was getting up when I interrupted him.
"No, you listen to me! I am tired of these BS lessons that prove nothing! I have decided what I fight for, and it's smiles and the happiness of others! And no one will take that goal from me!"
Geo, please listen-
"Now you shut up and listen too Jena! My way of fighting is by using my intelligence to come up with strengths and weaknesses that I can use against my opponents! I get it, I believe that I need more then that in my fights, but even I can be wrong sometimes! The fact that I believe I need to use more then just my intelligence stems from the fact that I don't believe myself to be a Kamen Rider!"
"Eh?!"
Eh?!
"I've done nothing but fight for my own selfish desires this entire time. I've done nothing but do things my way instead of getting help from others! And because of that, I am nothing but a nerd who lucked into getting power! Nothing will change what I've done! But you know what will change? Me! I will become stronger and change so that I can protect everyone, no matter what it costs me!"
"You… you believe that I'll accept that BS answer!" 'Geo' spat at me.
"Well, I already have. And since you're me, by extension that means you have as well"
'Geo' continued to growl but it slowly changed into a chuckle before he just started laughing.
"Oh what now" I whined.
"Yes, the point was to get you to use more then just intelligence, but the fact that you actually managed to convince your subconscious of your own free will amazes me!"
"…well it shouldn't really, I mean you ARE my subconscious."
"Never said EVERY part of you had to be a genius. But besides that, you've proven your will is stronger then ours… somehow. And besides, this test has mainly been from the powers you've been given"
"What?"
"To be honest with you… well, me actually, the six forms you given also have the wills and wishes of your friends imbued in them. So by using them, you've become stronger by your friends as well as yourself. And they decided to try and help you in any way they could. I guess you could say… they've helped to awaken the Royal Blood inside of you"
"Royal Blood?"
"Go back to the world you know now. Go and save your friends, especially May and Monica."
Everything went black.
I awoke inside the factory, looking directly at the supercomputer when I opened my eyes. I looked down to my waist, seeing my shirt was still open with holes from Jeremy's knife, only the wounds were healed. I think I know why.
"…this is just one coincidence after another." I groaned as I stood up and walked over to the chair, sitting in it. I plugged my Key Drive into the console.
Pulling up what I needed, I immediately got to work.
Several Minutes Later…
[Third Person P.O.V.]
E-Striker X-Omega rolled across the ground, sparking as she did.
"Come on now, what kind of challenge are you providing for me?" Zander taunted.
"I won't ever give up!" E-Striker got up again, resting on her E-Lancer.
"Hmph. Suit yourself!" Zander held his arm back and charged energy before slashing with his sword.
E-Striker's grip tightened on her weapon…
"Henshin!"
X-Guardian, Engaged!
E-Striker was picked up bridal style by a figure, accidentally dropping her weapon as the figure spun around, the attack hitting him in the side.
The figure hissed in pain as part of his helmet fell to the ground, revealing his eye and part of his mouth and nose.
"G-Geo?" E-Striker said.
X-Guardian X-Omega looked down at E-Striker, a smile being partly visible.
"I'm promised I'd come back… didn't I?" he set her down, green energy flowing into her body and healing her. "Sorry I took so long, I had to create a second X-Omega Driver and finish the Royal Brace. Thankfully I had just enough data and information from the other forms necessary to finish the Royal Brace and Driver. Add in a bit of creation powers to the scanners and… well, you can fill in the dots from there" X-Omega said.
"Geo… I don't care! You're okay!" E-Striker hugged X-Omega.
"I get it. I'm sorry. You my not be the May I know, but I realize now that I shouldn't care. You're still May nonetheless and I'm sorry. Now… let's do this" the two separated and turned to Zander.
E-Striker nodded and got ready.
X-Omega stared down Zander with a glare, the right "eye" of his helmet broken.
"You… you honestly think I will let this go on any longer? I won't stand for this!" he shouted.
"What are you going to do now? There's nothing you can do, West" Zander taunted.
X-Omega showed off his left wrist, revealing he had on a Royal Brace, only with a Key Pouch on the side of it. He pulled out a second Key Drive before attaching it to the Royal Brace.
SET!
Geo pulled off his helmet and threw it to the side before spinning the body of the Royal Brace 180 degrees so the Key Drive and handle were switched.
READY TO CHANGE?
He positioned his left arm just above his right shoulder and his right hand across his waist before he spun them counter-clockwise. He rested his left arm at his side with his right arm in the air.
"Henshin!"
Geo brought his right arm down and his left arm up. His right hand came into contact with the Key Wheel, spinning it.
PRINCE FORM!
Out of the top of the brace, six differently colored lights shot out and circled around Geo.
Everyone (conscious) covered their eyes due to the intensity of the light. "Geo?" E-Striker said.
The lights swirled around him as he set his arms down. They all settled around his torso, the periwinkle, violet, dark red, and aqua colors settling above his arms while the green settled above his chest while the pink was below it. The lights changed into different symbols, an X above his upper chest, an A above his lower chest, an O above his left shoulder, an M above his left hand, an E above his right hand, and a G above his right shoulder.
His suit changed colors, becoming a chrome-like silver color with black reflective armor across his shins, knees, forearms, elbows, and biceps/triceps.
Bulky armor formed onto his chest, shoulder, hands, and feet. The symbols that floated in the air impacted onto the armor, becoming chrome black when they did. Around Geo's head, a silver helmet formed. This one looked almost identical to the X-Guardian one, only bulkier, with raven black eyes, and having a small crown design on the top.
And to top it all off, a cape that was white with a black Key Drive design on it formed onto his back.
X-Omega Prince grabbed his cape and flicked it out of the way, facing off towards Zander.
"G-Geo" E-Striker looked over X-Omega Prince.
Welcome back kid! Masahiro said.
Talk about a Royal Transformation! Aria exclaimed.
Okay! Let's start the ball! Jena excitedly shouted.
X-Omega Prince raised his arm and spun the Key Wheel multiple times. Zander sighed and simply raised his sword before jumping up and swinging downwards.
X-Omega Prince finished spinning the Key Wheel and lowered his arms as if power was surging through him. He began shouting as energy began circling around him, freezing everyone in place and causing Zander to drop straight to the ground.
ULTIMATE CHARGE! PRINCE BREAK!
Silver and black energy swirled around him, forming a tornado around him.
Suddenly, cracks began forming in midair, spreading throughout the area quickly.
"What's… happening?" E-Striker wondered aloud.
"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" X-Omega Prince crossed his arms in front of him before lowering them quickly.
"HA!" The cracks burst open, changing the area back to the bridge. Only this time, Monica, Jack, and May were sitting nearby.
"What in the world?" Jack asked.
"How did I get here?" Monica looked around confused.
May noticed X-Omega Prince and E-Striker were suddenly there.
"W-who are they?" May pointed her weapon towards them.
"E-eh?! Is that… me?" E-Striker pulled the Key Drive from her belt, changing back into May.
The May holding the weapon dropped it in surprise.
The two Mays looked at each other in surprise.
"There's two of her?" Jack looked between them, confused.
Monica looked at X-Omega Prince. "Geo, is that you?"
"Glad you still have your memories of that world" X-Omega Prince laughed.
"You mean-"
"Yup. We're back sis" X-Omega Prince nodded.
"But how! How did you manage to destroy that world just like that! There is no way you could have destroyed a virtual world of that size!" Zander shouted.
"Virtual world?"
"That's right. Monica, we didn't travel to another dimension. As it turns out, Xana placed us inside of a virtual world to observe us after he discovered I could manipulate the area around me to create weapons. Everything afterwards minus us meeting the Fossil Rangers on Vivosaur Island was inside of a virtual world."
Zander growled and ran at X-Omega Prince with a shout.
The Rider grabbed the handle on the side of Royal Brace and pulled the trigger.
ROYAL WEAPON! SABER!
X-Omega Prince pulled on the handle, pulling both it and the Key Drive off. An energy blade formed as he pulled it out, creating the Royal Saber. X-Omega Prince slashed with the Royal Saber at Zander, striking him across the chest before he repeated the motion multiple times, knocking his opponent into one of the poles on the bridge.
X-Omega Prince held up his Royal Saber and spun the Key Wheel two times.
DOUBLE CHARGE! PRINCE BURST!
The sword charged with even more energy as X-Omega Prince pulled out a key and slotted it into the Royal Saber.
X-Key! Powered Up! ROYAL X BURST SLASH!
X-Omega Prince reared his arm back before he slashed with the Royal Saber in an X-shape, energy traveling and striking Zander.
"Royal Cross Slash!" X-Omega Prince called out, continuing to turn and facing the opposite direction.
The energy covered Zander and exploded, causing the male to scream in pain.
The explosion died down, revealing that Zander was gone.
X-Omega Prince turned in place and sheathed the Royal Saber back on the Royal Brace, causing the energy to dissipate when the weapon returned to its holster.
"Geo!" the other three ran up to him, looking over his new armor.
"Hey guys. That felt good" X-Omega Prince stretched.
"What's going on out here?" out of the factory, Michael, Jonesy, Malachi (carrying Spike), Lexi, Keith, Max, Jordan, and Alice walked outside.
Monica smiled widely. "Guys!" she didn't even start moving when X-Omega Prince spun the Key Wheel once.
SINGLE CHARGE! PRINCE POWER!
Prince X-Omega held his arm out at green energy shone around him.
All of a sudden, Lexi, Jordan, Alice, Malachi and even Spike started to howl in pain as they began sparking and static started appearing.
"What in the world?" The first May froze.
"Geo! Geo stop!" Monica grabbed at X-Omega Prince, trying to stop him.
His fist clenched, static covering them even more. The others tried to check on them.
"Get away from them! They're not even real!" X-Omega Prince declared.
"What?" Jack looked to X-Omega Prince in confusion.
The static covered them and their bodies began fading away, smoke replacing them.
"Monica, help us!" Alice shouted.
Monica turned to X-Omega Prince and extended her arm, trying to use her telekinesis. She immediately howled in pain and stumbled backwards, clutching at her head.
The group faded away entirely, smoke going into the sky.
X-Omega Prince lowered his arm.
"Geo… did… did you just kill them?" The second May turned to Geo in horror.
"Wait… that's Geo?" Michael asked.
X-Omega Prince turned to the two Mays and held his arm out, energy covering the two of them. "Sorry" he said, regret evident in his voice. The May equipped with the X-Omega Driver turned into energy that was absorbed into the Driver before the Driver flew onto the other Mays waist, equipping itself there.
X-Omega Prince turned towards the others.
"The truth is, when I said that Xana placed us inside of a virtual world, that was only partially the truth. The full truth is that a long time ago, Xana placed me, Odd, Aelita, May, Jack, and Monica inside a much larger virtual world based around our real world lives to observe us. He even created virtual characters based off of data that Xana happened to gather off of our friends. But several months ago, this battle took place and due to events that took place, namely me manipulating the virtual world to create that sword, Xana decided to place me inside another virtual world to absorb me, and Monica ended up tagging along. It was the viruses mistake though, because I managed to change the code enough to create these powers. They tried to stop me by killing me inside the virtual world. It didn't work, and I destroyed that virtual world, only to get back into this one.
"But basically, Odd, Aelita, May, Monica, and Jack, listen closely.
