A/N: I apologize for the delay for my stories in recent times. I have been having trouble doing time management and finding the drive to work on these. I'm most certainly not giving up on them, but it's taxing to have to write five stories at once, so after Kamen Rider Taisen is finished, I've decided I will go under a small hiatus on Spider Rider Gaim and Dreigon, Scan Rider Drive and Rush, and Kamen Riders Shogun and Kaizoku until I am finished with Fossil Rangers VivoFighters and Code Lyoko: X-Omega Unwound. I have been putting off on these stories for too long and I am so close to being finished that I realize I need to get them done. I apologize for any inconveniences.
Also, I would like to say that I have looked back on previous parts to my stories, namely Code Lyoko X-Omega and Fossil Rangers Vivofighters (The first half) and I have decided that I am going to go back and edit/rewrite them. I feel they both are genuinely good stories but written horribly. Starting out I wasn't so good so I will go back and work on them eventually. The original X-Omega will be rewritten entirely (though most of the plots will remain the same) while Vivofighters will only have the first half rewritten and the half I'm currently working on edited. Due to that, I will start re-editing/rewriting X-Omega as soon as I can but I will have to wait until Vivofighters is finished to work on re-editing that.
[Geo's P.O.V.]
Currently, all of us stood inside the factory with the supercomputer. Except for Ulrich, he had to leave. Something about a test he needed to study for. I thought it was crap, given that he actually stopped studying in order to follow a mysterious text, but whatever.
"So, not that we're in a more secure space, who is this enemy that you're so worried about?" Hikaru asked.
"Okay, well, besides Kanzaki and I, there is a third Rider with our kind of power" Nagi explained. "This one is named "The Ultimate""
"The Ultimate? What kind of name is that?" Gimmy asked.
"The Ultimate was designed to be the strongest of the three of us. We each have our own individual powers, but they come from the same source. The individual power that I have is that I can change forms and fighting styles. Kanzaki can adapt based on his opponent so he can take care of them easier. And The Ultimate, who is a girl named Mei, has invulnerability."
"I see. So this "Mei" person is stronger than even you?" I asked.
"Yes."
"Okay, so what is it that gives you each your individual powers? We may need to know if we're going to get the upper hand" Hikaru pointed out.
"We all run on something called "Infinite Energy", which gives us our Rider suits and power our cybernetic technology. It also powers our finishers, such as my Rider Kick and other assorted attacks." Nagi revealed.
"Is it possible we could use the Infinite Energy to power our own technology?" Hikaru asked, taking out his phone.
"No. If the technology is not compatible, then it will either result in the destruction of the source or the technology that's trying to adapt to the energy"
Hikaru put his phone back in his pocket.
"Can we use it to free everyone else from the virtual world?" I inquired.
"I… I don't know how I can use it without completely destroying the system and killing everyone inside of it." Nagi said.
I sighed and nodded. "Okay, I understand"
"Anyways, if we're going to try and defeat Kanzaki and Mei, we need to defeat them with what we have now. But we're going to need all the help we can get. Mei is not going to be a run of the mill bad guy and Kanzaki is going to be a lot harder to beat than before. Probably because he is now adapted to Geo's fighting style"
"Wait, what?!" I interrupted.
"When I said that Kanzaki can adapt to fighting styles, I was serious. Even if I helped Geo fight against him, that was enough for Kanzaki to adapt to your fighting style. There may not have been enough for him to adapt to, but he may try and fill in the blanks and guess. Even so, it may be better for you to try and switch up your forms or fighting styles when you go against him"
"I can try changing up forms, but even then my fighting style still remains the same somewhat. I have one form that should be powerful enough, but I won't know until we face him, and I don't want him to have an advantage so I'll have to save it as a last resort. What do we need to be prepared for with The Ultimate?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"Just let me handle her. If there is anyone who can defeat Mei, it's me." Nagi replied.
"Okay, so we have a game plan set, we just need to prepare" Gimmy spoke up.
"Not exactly. I wouldn't call that "a game plan", just us having a basic idea of what to do when the time comes" May said.
"We can still prepare though" Hikaru nodded.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
A lone girl practiced her martial arts on a punching bag, kicking and punching at it.
This went on for a while before she unleashed a punch onto it, causing it to fly off and hit the ground a fair distance away.
She cracked her neck and picked up a towel, wiping away the sweat.
"Soon, Version Zero… you will meet your end" the girl said.
She turned around and grabbed a hanger, a school girls uniform hanging from it. However, around her waist was a belt quite similar to Nagi's and Kanzaki's.
Geo sat by himself in the elevator, currently working on tuning up the Royal Brace.
"If I can just… get this to work…" he grunted, carefully moving a metal rod through the Brace's insides.
"Having trouble there?" Darry walked up, taking notice of the situation.
"Hm? Oh, yeah. It's a bit hard to do this with just one hand."
"Really?" Darry tilted her head in confusion.
"Yeah. For starters, I need one hand to keep the Royal Brace steady but I need another to screw this in, and another to use that metal rod to hold the wires back so they don't get tangled. There's also some other things but I think I don't really have time to talk about all of it and continue to work on this"
"Can I help?" she walked over.
"Oh, yeah. Do you see that metal rod with a curved end? Could you use that and pull the wires back?" Geo asked.
Darry complied, grabbing the rod he was talking about and using it to pull the wires back, allowing Geo to work faster.
"Alright, thank you" Geo grinned. "Now, see that metal rod with the trigger? I need you to stick that right into the slot where the Key Drive goes and pull the trigger."
Darry followed his directions and placed it into the slot before pulling the trigger.
"Okay, now keep pulling the trigger, without the Key Drive inside, it won't be active, but that is giving an electrical discharge as long as the trigger is pulled, and since it's in the Key Drive slot, it should be powering the Royal Brace."
Darry nodded, keeping the two items in her hands steady.
Geo put down the screwdriver and picked up a canister of oil before applying it to the joints of the Royal Brace. He then put down the canister and started using the screwdriver again.
However, as he was doing this, he decided to ask something.
"So, Darry, I have a question for you" Geo said.
"A question? Ask away" she said.
"Do you by any chance remember me?"
"Remember you?... I'm sorry, but should I?" Darry blinked.
"Well… to be honest… when I was much shorter, I could have sworn I've seen you before." Geo said.
"Really?"
"Yeah. I remember as a kid, there was a woman who looked just like you. And she gave me my reason for fighting. And she said her name was Darry."
"That's strange. I don't remember that" Darry said.
"Huh. Weird. I figured it could have been time travel as well though, because… well, you looked exactly as you do right now. No offense."
"Oh, none taken. It's honestly been around 18 years since I stopped aging anyways."
"Okay, got it… wait, what?" Geo's eyes widened.
"The truth is, Hikaru and I are married, and we have been for almost 20 years."
"…what"
"It's a bit hard to explain. But, I'll explain what I can. Hikaru isn't human, and that's perfectly fine. Between us, we have three kids. But this also ties into why I don't age. Since Hikaru isn't human, that made our first child half-human, and half his species. I almost died giving birth, but Hikaru turned me into one of him to keep me alive. I was of course mad, because he did it against my will, but eventually, I forgave him. My other children, due to us both being his species, were that species as well. And we all have a slowed aging process due to our status as a species." Darry explained.
Geo only stared.
"But anyways, there's no use going into things that you already know about" Darry said.
"What? I didn't know that" Geo said.
"Yes you did. You were at our wedding, weren't you?"
Geo shook his head.
"Oh. I get it. Tricky thing about time travel is that you never know which version of the person you're visiting, the past or present. So, when was the last time you saw us?"
"Well… it was on Vivosaur Island and we had just come back from Bujin World."
"…I think that was around 21 years ago for me"
"…huh… so… your kids?"
"Hm? Oh yes. Well, Hikaru and I are now-" Darry said something unintelligible.
"…I'm sorry, what?"
"Sorry, the reason I said "species" earlier, is because it's nearly impossible for the name of the species to translate to human language. But, anyway, because the two of us are-" she said the word again "-then that means we age at a much slower rate. Gimmy was killed and subsequently turned into a-" she said it again "-as well, aging him at a much slower rate. Simon was simply made immortal by complete accident."
"…and what did that have to do with your kids?"
"I'm getting there. Because we age slower, that means that our kids do as well; when they reach a certain age at least. They age normally until around age eighteen, according to Hikaru. My three kids are Ginga, Tsubasa, and Hayase Kazuraba."
"Wait…Ginga? As in Z?!" Geo exclaimed.
"You didn't know that? Wouldn't Hikaru have told you?"
"A lot's been going on, I just forgot, okay? But Z's your son?"
"Z…how much do you know about Ginga…from before he lost his memories?"
"Nothing, Hikaru only told me that Ginga was his son."
"Huh. Whoops."
Geo stopped with his maintenance, removed the metal rod that Darry was holding inside, and put the cover back on before picking up the screwdriver again. "Okay, that's enough for power, thanks" he thanked her. Darry took out the metal rod.
Geo started screwing the cover back on.
"So, why haven't you guys told Z about his past yet?"
"Ginga has done some things in his past; things that cannot be named because we need you to trust Ginga for the time being. From what Hikaru has told me, his personality is certainly a step up from what it was before, but I am afraid of what will happen if he regains his memories. I am afraid that he will either revert back to the way he was before, and that this time no one will be able to stop him" Darry revealed.
"…what caused his amnesia?"
"…His memories were sealed into a Lockseed. The seal is still active, as evidenced by the symbol that Hikaru told me is still evident on his hand." Darry explained to Geo.
"Okay, but who sealed them, and what Lockseed?"
Darry paused, not willing to answer. Geo caught onto her silence.
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"It's fine, it's just… a difficult subject to talk about" Darry looked down.
The two sat in silence for a few moments before Darry spoke up.
"When you asked Nagi if he could use the Infinite Energy to free your friends…you seemed really upset about it when he said he couldn't, why is that?."
"Oh… that. Well, I was trapped in that world with May for months with no clue. And even then when we find out it's suddenly a much worse situation than we thought. Every day is a fight for survival. Not only that, but Monica and the others are still in there. It's hard enough as it is with Xana's frightening amount of attention to detail, but now that Monica and them are alone down there without us is frightening, because I can't get access to the computer to see if they're okay due to Hikaru doing whatever he's doing on there"
"I'm sure he'll let you use it if you a-"
"No. That's not going to work. Don't get me wrong, Hikaru is one of the people I trust the most. But… he had the chance to free the others along with me and May… and he didn't… he only freed me and May. I understand that he needs as much help from fellow Riders as he can in order to stand a better chance in this fight, but Monica, Jack, Odd, and Aelita could have been just as big a help as May and I are."
"Well…" Darry couldn't finish her sentence.
"I still regret what I've said to Monica, what I've done, and how I've acted. But even after getting it off my chest and realizing I want to apologize to Monica, I can't. She's still suck in that world… I guess I feel that… Hikaru is ignoring what I've actually been through in that world and is just focusing on using me to do what he wants me to do."
Darry didn't get to reply when Hikaru interrupted him.
"Darry, Geo, you guys might want to come see this"
In almost complete silence, the two stood up and walked over to the supercomputer where the others were waiting.
Hikaru sat at the supercomputer, a window open. "This is from the cameras of some businesses security cameras" He gestured to the window. Darry and Geo took a look at the screen.
Explosions rang throughout the street, people running in terror of those walking down the street.
Down the street, two people came walking, one of them being Kanzaki while the other was a female figure. She was wearing a school uniform similar to Nagi's, only it was designed for a girl. She was wearing a Version Changer, only it was golden.
"Come out, Version Zero. I know you're watching!" the girl said. She turned towards a civilian who was cowering behind a mailbox. She moved around it and grabbed the person behind it, lifting them up by their neck.
"If you don't, then they'll all die. Here's an example" with a flex of her wrist, she snapped the neck of the person and dropped them to the ground.
"Who's next?" she turned to find another civilian.
The group watched the computer screen with varied expressions, one of the most noticeable was May, who had covered her mouth with both hands in horror.
"She's here. Mei… Kamen Rider The Ultimate" Nagi glared at the screen.
"We need to get out there and stop her!" May said.
"I agree, she's killing civilians. We need to prevent anymore casualties" Geo nodded.
"We can't." Hikaru denied their request.
"Wha-?! Hikaru, we can't bring those people back with a Return to the Past, we need to take care of her and stop her rampage!" Geo said.
"I agree with Hikaru on this one, we know next to nothing about her and it is essentially a suicide to go out there against her. Nagi himself said only he can defeat her." Gimmy pointed out.
"That doesn't mean anything! Our lives mean nothing as long as we can save those who need help!"
"Your lives are too important. We need you to help fight against Badan" Hikaru said.
"What makes you think that you can decide who gets to live and die? Who made you the leader?!" May screamed.
"Hikaru, I agree with them. Those people need you out there and just sitting around and thinking about fighting her isn't going to stop her" Darry spoke up.
"We need a valid plan instead of just rushing in." Hikaru defended his plan.
"What other option do we have? By the time we come up with a valid plan she may have killed half the city just waiting for Nagi to show up!" Geo shouted.
"And rushing in is a valid option?" Gimmy asked.
Geo glared at the two but he looked past Hikaru at the computer.
"I think Ulrich's already way ahead of us" he said.
Ulrich ran towards the two with his Driver equipped. He held up his Key Drive. "Henshin!"
Within moments, Lyoko replaced Ulrich and drew both his swords. He slashed at Mei and Kanzaki.
Mei jumped out of the way. When she did however, she immediately planted her fist into his chest, knocking him backwards.
As Lyoko stumbled away from them, Mei stalked forward and slammed her foot into his helmet, sending Lyoko onto his face on the ground.
Lyoko tried to get to his feet as fast as he could, only for Mei to plant her foot on his back and stop him.
She looked up in a random direction.
"Well what's it going to be V0? Do I have to kill your Rider friend as well or will you come quietly? I will be sure to make his death MUCH more painful if you don't comply" Mei said aloud.
"Now can we get out there and help him?" Geo said.
"…no, it's still too early"
Geo glared at Hikaru. "You know what, screw this. I am going to get out there and help him and you can't stop me"
Geo turned and promptly started to leave. Hikaru sighed. "Are you sure you're willing to do that?"
Geo stopped. "What do you mean?"
"Leave now and there's no guarantee you'll survive. You sure you want to do that to Monica? She still needs to be freed from that world"
"...Then free her. You freed me and May to accomplish your own goals without even thinking about freeing everyone else. It was all for your own goals."
"Geo, wait-" Darry was interrupted when she tried to plead with him.
"Don't try, Darry. I get that he was trying to protect the world- no, the universe, but he had the chance to save four other people from being trapped in a literal Hell on Earth and he denied them the chance to be free. That world is hard to function in. It's a virtual world based entirely on the real world. Everything is copied down to the smallest detail."
"It can't be that bad" Hikaru said.
"You shut up and listen." Geo ordered. "When I say "The smallest detail" I freaking mean it. It is as if it is real life. We get tired and need to fall asleep, but we can't fall asleep all at once or we could be killed in our sleep. Even if we take watches, Xana attacks almost every day, tiring us out and leaving us sleep deprived. Our bodily functions remain as well. We get hungry, tired, thirsty, all that and more."
"Geo, do you know what torture is?" Hikaru interrupted, getting up from his chair.
"Not personally, but you know all about that, don't you? After all you are a monster who they attempted to change into a killing machine" Geo snapped.
"Geo!" May warned.
"No, I want to hear this. Go ahead, give your defense. Tell me why I am wrong." Geo said.
"I was tortured for one year, forced to undergo this treatment to become a warrior I never wanted to become. I fought back and escaped and I fought against my captors for years, sacrificing so much before I could finally kill them. You don't know what it is like to have to be built up to be great before everything falls apart."
"Don't I? All this past year has been nothing but good things and torture. Sure, I got kidnapped but oh look, I get a power up! And I can create all these cool things! I got a girlfriend and we were happy! Then everything went to utter crap when we got placed into the virtual world! We apparently never even knew it happened in the first place! It could have been when I got this thing!" he showed off the X on his hand "it could have been when Zander showed up for the first time! It could have been when Jeremy tried to ruin Odd and Aelita's date! Your life has been harsh, yes, but at least you have a grasp of what happened that caused the change! I have no idea when or how everything changed for me!"
The area started to blur in Geo's eyesight as he rushed forward, grabbing and lifting up Hikaru by his collar.
"EVERYTHING was falling apart! I was happy with May and Monica but now all of a sudden I'm some armored super hero and things are getting worse! I had almost all of my friends turn against me and I didn't even know they were fake! I had to get stabbed in a realistic world where EVERYTHING felt real! I had to feel that pain of getting stabbed and then try to heal through it even though I was unconscious! I had to fight against my own subconscious to achieve the strength to escape a virtual world! That is impossible in so many ways that I can't even list them! If you're going to tell me I'm wrong for having enough and going to fight back to SAVE PEOPLE…" Geo tossed Hikaru away. "Then don't talk to me and do this fight without me"
Geo turned around and entered the elevator before the doors started to close.
[May's P.O.V.]
I watched in absolute shock as Geo tore into Hikaru.
Geo… what's wrong?
Kid can't hear you, he's quite literally trapped in his own little world right now.
What do you mean?
It's not so easy to explain, but Geo from now on may have periods of time where he'll lose control, but don't worry about it, that is common from now on.
Will he at least be okay?
It's… listen Kid's Girlfriend, it's hard to say as of now, but you should go check it out immediately to make sure he's okay"
But Hikaru said-
What Hikaru said doesn't matter. Geo is your boyfriend, you should make decisions about whether to save him or not yourself.
I sat there for a few moments before I noticed there was an argument going on.
"-that doesn't mean you can just be so quick to dismiss him!" Darry shouted at her husband.
"You're kidding me, right? The kid is delusional." Hikaru sat back in the chair.
"He hasn't gone through what you have though, all this stress is probably a completely new experience" Darry said.
"Hikaru did have a point though" Gimmy admitted. "Though there was probably a better way he could have said it"
"Gimmy, not you too" Darry sighed.
"I know Geo is still a kid… no, wait, that's the point I'm trying to get to. Geo is a kid, he hasn't suffered through a lot yet. He doesn't know what kind of suffering you've been through and you really didn't make an effort to tell him, you just sat there while he ranted about his problems." Nagi told Hikaru.
"Even so, Geo isn't worth it. After all of that, I have to say I may have made a mistake."
"Hikaru!" Darry exclaimed.
"You were the one who brought us to this world to fight against that one force. What do you mean mistake?" Gimmy said.
"If he was so quick to snap like that, I may have been wrong in my judgment of choosing him to help us. May seems like a good replacement though. She will do" Hikaru prepared to turn back in his seat when I looked down to the ground.
"What makes you think I will help you?" I growled.
"Excuse me?" Hikaru turned back.
"Geo may have just exploded on you and I may not have agreed with that, but you are not making the situation any better!" I glared at Hikaru, shouting at almost the top of my lungs.
"May" Darry was surprised at my outburst.
"Geo has been through a lot, yeah, and it may not have been as much as what you had been through, but don't be so quick to dismiss Geo because of one single outburst! You were supposed to be a strong leader who was supposed to help us get through this, Geo told me that himself while we were waiting for you to make a plan after sending Ulrich back (A/N basically, he told her offscreen). But I don't see any strong people when I look at you"
The room was completely silent as everyone stared at me and Hikaru.
"May. What makes you think Geo is so strong? Why do you think he can protect the people he cares about?"
I paused, not expecting that question.
"Well? What is your answer?" Hikaru asked.
"I… uh… well…" I tried to think of a good answer.
"I'm waiting, May." Hikaru interjected.
"You can't just throw her on the spot like that and expect her to answer!" Nagi shouted at him.
"You shut up. I don't recall ever asking you for your answer." He turned back to me. "Well May? Give me an answer."
"Geo… Geo is strong"
"Yes, but why?" Hikaru pushed.
"He's strong because he cares too much."
Hikaru just stared. "You're going to need a bit more information"
"Geo wouldn't just give up on saving others. He got mad at you partially because you wouldn't save Monica and the rest of our friends."
Hikaru narrowed his eyes. I didn't even let him get a sound out. "Geo works to protect people's smiles and their lives. I know how naïve we must sound to you, but he wants to help! All of this stuff that has happened to him, it may not have compared to what you had to go through, but he is still a Kamen Rider nonetheless!" I shouted.
Hikaru stared at me, as did everyone else in the room.
It was completely silent for the longest time.
"Fine. Go and save your boyfriend. I can't control you. If you die… oh well" Hikaru turned in his seat.
I turned and called the elevator before entering it. "Wait!" Nagi entered the elevator. "I'm coming with"
"Fine." I pressed the button and the doors closed.
[Hikaru's P.O.V.]
I watched as the two left, leaving just me, Gimmy, and Darry remaining.
"Unbelievable" I sighed.
"Yes, you are." Darry harshly said to me.
"I'm sorry?"
"You came here to ally yourself with Geo and try to fight back against whatever was happening in the universe. What the heck was that!?" Darry shouted.
"He's naïve. We can't just rush in blindly and hope things will go right"
"That's not him being naïve! That's him trying to protect people! He doesn't have time to plan if the enemy is already out there killing people! Rushing in blindly and hoping things will go right is the ONLY option he can go with right now!" Darry screamed at me. "Whatever happened to you wanting to protect people?"
"I want to protect people, but we can't just run in there. The only one who can even stand a chance against The Ultimate is Nagi, and we need to stay alive to fight against Badan. We only came to this world to pick up Geo and stop the Showa Rider chasing us. If we need to leave Geo then fine, I'm sure we can pick up someone else on the way"
"What on earth is wrong with you?! These aren't just trash you can throw away at any time, these are living breathing people!"
"I know that, but there's nothing we can do! How can we be so sure we can defeat her?"
"Why are you so afraid? If Geo can get out there and fight then why can't you? He's not trying to prove himself; he's just trying to save people!" Darry shouted.
"Darry, I'm not going to repeat myself-"
SMACK!
I was interrupted when Darry smacked me across the face harshly.
"Neither am I" she hissed before she picked up my Cyclone Shield and Saber and then called the elevator.
"Darry-" I started.
"Just drop it Hikaru. If you're not going to listen to me then I'm not going to listen to you" she didn't even look at me.
"But-"
"Hikaru" Gimmy spoke up, causing me to turn to him. He shook his head, warning me to stop.
The elevator arrived, Darry walking into it and pressing a button.
"Where are you going" I tried.
"I don't care." Was all she said before the doors closed.
All I could do was stare at the doors as they closed.
Gimmy, with his… infinite wisdom… decided to say: "Dude, you screwed up"
[Geo's P.O.V.]
I walked out of the factory with my hands in my pockets.
"Tch. That Hikaru… who does he think he is?" I growled.
You have to admit he had a point Kid, Masahiro said.
I'd rather sacrifice my life for someone else's.
You are fifteen. What life do you have?
Shut it. Hikaru can find someone else to fight for him if he's just going to try and stop me from trying to stop people from dying.
Kid-
Shut. Up.
But-
No, you're refusing to listen to me. I admit he has a point in that I need to stay alive to keep protecting people, but right now people need help, and that takes precedence.
And with that, the two voices shut up. Of course, that led the third one to speak up as well.
Geo, I believe what you did was right. Jena tried to cheer me up.
Thank you, Jena.
No problem
I walked further when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned around to see May and Nagi running towards me.
"May, Nagi, what do you guys want?"
"We're coming to help, and you are not going to stop us from helping" May said, anger visible on her face. I'm not used to seeing her angry. Something's wrong.
"Are you okay?" I pressed.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?" she hissed.
"You're angry. Out of everyone I know, you're the least likely to get angry. If Hikaru made you angry I swear I'm going to-"
May interrupted me. "Don't, Geo. Just drop it. Come on, you wanted to go save people, right? Well, let's go save people"
I paused, not expecting MAY of all people to be doing this. "Well… uh… yeah. Let's… let's go"
May began walking away with Nagi following behind her. I was left blinking in absolute confusion before I began following after her.
[Third Person P.O.V.]
Lyoko was knocked into a wall, his helmet having been broken open. He fell to the ground before Mei walked towards him and lifted him up by his neck.
"You're… weak…" Mei tossed him aside, causing him to roll across the ground, unable to get up.
"Miss, just kill him already" Kanzaki spoke up.
"Kanzaki, shut up. This one is fun to play with." Mei growled at Kanzaki. She turned back to Lyoko and prepared to move towards him.
She cracked her neck and lifted him up by his collar before she slugged him across the helmet. As Lyoko stumbled to the ground, Mei slammed her foot into his back, causing him to faceplant on the ground.
"That's enough, Mei!" a voice stopped her from continuing. Mei turned to the source.
Geo, May, and Nagi all ran into the scene.
"If you want to fight someone then fight me!" Nagi declared.
"Version Zero, so you came" Mei kicked Lyoko away, the boy being knocked off to the side.
"But Miss-"
"Shut it Kanzaki. This fight… will be fun" Mei put on a crazed grin.
"Guys, let's Henshin!" Geo called.
The two next to him nodded and they got ready.
Access!
"Henshin!" Geo called, holding up his Key Drive.
"Henshin!" May tossed her Key Drive into the air before catching it as it came down.
"Hennnnn-shin! Version! Zero!" Nagi performed his Henshin Pose.

"Iku zo!" X-Omega called as he shouldered his sword, the three charging at Kanzaki and Mei.
Mei smirked as the Riders came near her. She prepared for a fight when Kanzaki jumped in front of her.
"Henshin! Version King!"
VK blocked the slash from X-Omega but was subject to a stab from Extra-Omega, getting pushed backwards.
"Kanzaki! What are you doing?!" Mei shouted.
"I must protect my mistress at all costs!" VK shouted back.
V0 kicked at VK, knocking him further back towards Mei. Mei grabbed him by the collar and tossed him aside.
"Don't bother. I want to destroy them myself" Mei put on an excited grin and straightened her collar. She extended her left arm so it was above her right shoulder. She suddenly swung it in front of herself and tucked it at her waist while her right hand was positioned above her left shoulder with her bent elbow at her waist.
"Henshin…" she slowly brought both of her arms to her right, her right arm being positioned like she was flexing her muscles while her left hand was under her elbow. She snapped her fingers.
"The Ultimate!" She threw her arms to the left, her left arm fully extended while her right hand was positioned above her left shoulder.
The disk inside her belt began spinning, causing wind to circle around her.
Wires covered her, transforming her into her Rider form.
Within seconds, the change was complete.
Her Rider suit had a gold form-fitting suit under black chest armor. Silver lines ran down the side of her suit. Her helmet was based off of a praying mantis, having silver eyes, a silver mouthplate, and a gold coloration.
"I am… The Ultimate Kamen Rider" The Ultimate boasted.
X-Omega, Extra-Omega, and V0 all warily stared at her. X-Omega decided to try and break the ice.
"You know, declaring yourself "The Ultimate Kamen Rider" is a bit of a stretch. There's probably one stronger than you out there. And to be fair, "The Ultimate" is a pretty stupid name. Try getting rid of the "The" a-" Instantly, after having waited for the monologue to be over, The Ultimate sped over and slammed her fist into X-Omega's helmet; the attack sent him flying back. Extra-Omega noticed this too late and was struck back as well. V0 actually tried to defend himself but couldn't in time, getting slugged in the stomach.
The Ultimate slammed her fist into V0's face, knocking him to the ground.
"Come on" she lifted him up by the back of his collar. "You can do better than that" she taunted before she let him go before she round-house kicked him in the face, sending him backwards.
X-Omega got to his feet and charged at The Ultimate with his sword at the ready.
The Dark Rider spun around and slammed her heel into his neck, knocking him to the side. She jumped after him and slammed her fist into the side of his chin, causing him to spin as he fell to the ground face-first while dropping his sword.
The Ultimate planted her foot on the back of X-Omega's back and picked up his sword.
"Boring." She sighed before she stabbed downwards.
A sudden lance crashed into the sword and knocked it out of her hand. Extra-Omega tackled The Ultimate off of X-Omega, the two girls rolling across the ground. The first one to get to her knees was The Ultimate; she immediately tackled Extra-Omega as she was getting to her knees.
The Ultimate caught Extra-Omega off guard before she stood up and lifted up the girl by the neck as she did.
"How weak. You're boring as well" The Ultimate said in a disappointed tone.
She tightened her grip on Extra-Omega's throat when an attack made contact with her back, causing her to stumble forward and let go of Extra-Omega.
"Stop Mei! It's me you want, right? Then fight me and leave them out of it!" V0 shouted behind her.
The Ultimate spun around and swung her fist, aiming for V0's helmet, but she missed as he had ducked just in time. He slammed his right fist into her gut before jumping up to knee her in the face.
As she stumbled back, V0 took a chance and slugged her across the helmet similar to how she did to X-Omega. The Ultimate quickly got her bearings back, reaching to her chin and gripping it. "That… was weak… almost like a mosquito bite. Nice to see you can manage to make this interesting" The Ultimate cracked her neck as she got into a ready stance.
V0 responded by getting into a ready stance as well. The two charged.
X-Omega stumbled over to Extra-Omega, checking on her. "May, are you alright?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine, what about you?"
"I'll live. Come on, we have to help Nagi" X-Omega stood up, only to get a fist to the chest by VK, who had finally stepped in to fight.
"My mistress is in the middle of a fight. Three on one would do no good" VK cockily said.
"Hasn't stopped her from beating the snot out of us before" X-Omega remarked. VK responded by walking towards X-Omega and attacking.
VK punched at X-Omega, who dodged and kicked at VK, aiming for his head.
VK easily sidestepped the attack before he delivered a punch to the side of X-Omega's head. VK continued his assault, kicking X-Omega in the side of the leg before he jumped up and slammed his heel into X-Omega's helmet.
Extra-Omega picked up her lance and ran at VK before she quickly tackled him to the side. The two rolled as Extra-Omega quickly got up and stabbed at VK.
VK continued rolling to dodge and got to his knees.
X-Omega quickly ran over to grab his sword and jumped at VK while performing a wide slash with his weapon. The older Rider was struck in the back of the head but spun around to punch the younger Rider in the gut and send him stumbling back.
VK turned just in time to get kicked in the side of the helmet by Extra-Omega. She slammed her weapon into his neck before stabbing into his gut.
VK grabbed onto the blade of the weapon but was knocked further onto it by X-Omega.
Extra-Omega retrieved her weapon and backed up along with X-Omega.
"How did he get so strong?" X-Omega panted.
"I adapt. And I've faced you before." VK simply said as he moved to a crouching position and jumped into the air while he whipped his leg around. The attack slammed his heel into the chin of X-Omega and successfully sent him stumbling forward only to get punched in the back.
Extra-Omega tried to help and managed to swing her lance at VK, who caught it effortlessly.
"Come now, that type of technique is CHILDS PLAY to predict. You must ha-OOF!" he was interrupted when Extra-Omega reared her right leg back and used her full power to kick him in the crotch. VK grabbed at his crotch and promptly fell over with a pained cry slipping out of his mouth.
"Adapt to that!" Extra-Omega moved to help X-Omega. "Come on, let's go help Nagi and Ulrich"
The Ultimate punched V0 in the gut, the force of the punch sending him flying into the wall. She ran at him but was suddenly drop-kicked by X-Omega.
Extra-Omega checked on V0 while carrying an unconscious Lyoko. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm f-" V0 didn't finish when X-Omega was thrown into the wall next to them.
"Geo!" Extra-Omega checked on her friend.
"This ends now" The Ultimate said before jumping into the air.
"Ultimate Kick!" She fell towards them with her legs extended in a kicking formation.
"Crap!" V0 got into a ready stance.
BANG!
A sudden shot rang out as an energy bullet hit The Ultimate in the foot and changed the direction of her kick. She crashed into the wall just to the right of the three.
Darry ran in, holding Hikaru's Cyclone Shield in gun mode. "Come on!" she grabbed X-Omega by the hand and dragged him away with V0 and Extra-Omega following.
After a few seconds, The Ultimate walked out of the hole she made in the building and looked around, unable to find the three Riders.
She growled and slammed her fist into an unbroken portion of the wall, smashing a hole in it.
Darry, Geo, Nagi, and May all ran into an alleyway, Geo making sure they weren't being followed. May was still carrying Lyoko but set him against the wall, the Rider changing back into Ulrich.
"Okay… I think we're safe." Geo confirmed, sitting against a wall.
"Are you all okay?" Darry asked them.
"We're fine. We just need a little break" Nagi said.
Darry nodded. "Look, I'm really sorry about what Hikaru did back there"
Geo scowled. "Don't be. He said what he did and that's what mattered"
"Geo-"
"Darry. I can see his point, I just don't agree with it at all." Geo growled, standing up. "If I can't save people then why bother?"
"Yes but you have to anticipate what's going on in the future. You can't just go in guns blazing to help if it could ruin everything in the future."
"She's right, Geo" Nagi spoke up.
"Oh not you too" Geo sighed.
"Just think about the situation. If we defeat her now, it may harm your chances in the future. Especially if you get seriously injured."
"But if we don't defeat her now she will start killing people. My life is not worth multiple" Geo growled at Nagi.
"But your life is important in an effort to safe a lot of people" another voice interrupted. Hikaru walked in from the other side of the alley.
"Hikaru, what are you doing here? And where's Gimmy?"
"I left him behind and had him watch the place to make sure nothing went wrong." Hikaru explained.
"What do you want?" Geo questioned.
"To help. If you want to stop her I'm not stopping you. But I want you to think. If you defeat her here and lose your life then what does that mean in our fight against a force going after the entire universe?"
"It means I did what I could. If she's a part of that side going against us then what's the problem with taking her out?"
"Geo we need you now more than we've needed you before."
"I'm not going to sacrifice lives, Hikaru!"
"I'm not going to sacrifice you! You're not just my last choice, you're one of my friends and I don't want to get you involved in a fight that would kill you! If I had any other option I would not choose you because I don't want you to die in this war but I don't have a choice so here we are! If you lose against The Ultimate I can't guarantee you're going to survive!"
Geo's eyes widened as he heard Hikaru's rant. "Hikaru…"
Hikaru's glare softened. "Just…tell me you won't go back out there."
"I can't guarantee that."
"Geo" Nagi warned.
"No, I'm sorry, but I can't. I appreciate the concern but I'm not going to stop. Find someone else to help" Geo turned and ran out of the alley.
"Geo!" May started to run after him but called out to the group over her shoulder. "Make sure nothing happens to Ulrich!"
Hikaru looked down at the ground.
"Hikaru, are you okay?" Darry asked her husband.
"If he's going to get himself killed, I can't stop him. But I'm not going to let him die though." Hikaru scowled before he grabbed his weapon from Darry and chased after Geo and May.
Nagi and Darry watched as the three left.
"Crap. They're getting involved again." Nagi sighed.
"What do we do?" Darry asked.
"We may have to get involved." Nagi started to leave the alleyway with Darry following. "This time around they may not be able to hold on as long as they did last time so I need to get in there and he-OH GOD!" Nagi jumped backwards when a car almost ran him over. The car stopped in front of him. The Driver was in his mid-twenties with a pair of sunglasses and a leather jacket, pants, and a white shirt. He had on a belt with a bronze strap and a silver buckle that had a logo of a bird of sorts. On the sides were two buttons that could be pressed down.
"Oi oi, my job is to find you not kill you. You're not supposed to walk in the road" the Driver took off his glasses to reveal brown eyes. The car itself was white with red highlights. He had a logo all over his car and a booster of sorts on the back. Also, Nagi's motorcycle was chained to the back.
"My Machine Zero!" Nagi went to his bike.
"What do you think you're doing?" Darry demanded.
The Driver got out of the car and stood in front of Nagi.
"My name is Yuji. I'm Kamen Rider Sangou. I'm here to pick you up."
"Eh?! Pick me up?! What for?!" Nagi demanded, getting in Yuji's face. Yuji easily pushed him back. "Ichigou told me to pick you up so that we could have you on our side for the fight that's coming."
"What are you talking about?!" Nagi shouted.
"You're a Showa Rider. As far as I know at least, but even so, you're needed to help with something especially important."
"I don't care what you're talking about! My friends need me!"
"Well what's more important, the universe or your friends?"
"…five minutes. Talk"
The Ultimate angrily paced back and forth while carrying a metal rod. "Kanzaki…how could you let them escape?!"
"I'm sorry mistress! They got past my guard! I swear!" Kanzaki cried out, tied up in rope.
"Sorry won't work this time!" The Ultimate leveled her rod at his head.
"Mistress please!"
"I do love begging, but that isn't saving you this time" The Ultimate whacked him full force in the back of the head, resulting in Kanzaki flying forward with a large head wound. The metal rod itself bent due to the force.
"You're lucky that you are strong enough to handle that kind of blow Kanzaki." The Ultimate tossed her makeshift weapon aside. She growled in frustration.
"The Ultimate!" she heard behind her.
She turned around to see Geo and May running back up.
"So you came back? For me?" The Ultimate teased in a faux-sweet voice.
Geo kept running at her. He held up his Royal Brace and Key Drive before sliding said Key Drive into it and spinning it around

X-Omega Prince ran at The Ultimate and stabbed forward, catching her in the stomach. Extra-Omega jumped forward to swing her weapon at The Ultimate as well only for The Ultimate to dodge.
X-Omega Prince continued to swing at her, the Showa Rider starting to dodge each slash but getting hit by some at the same time. They caused little to no effect as she retaliated with a punch or a kick after each strike. X-Omega Prince stopped after a while and pulled a key out before activating it.
The Ultimate struck Extra-Omega in the chest and resulted in her flying backwards.
X-Omega Prince jumped up and fell towards The Ultimate.
A-Key! Powered Up!
The blade glowed a bright pink as X-Omega Prince slashed downwards. The Ultimate raised her arm up to block the attack. The blade made contact with her arm when X-Omega Prince landed.
"Is that your attack? How weak!" The Ultimate taunted him as sparks started to fly from the area of contact.
"That's not all I've got up my sleeve!" X-Omega Prince spun the Key Wheel a second time.
SINGLE CHARGE! PRINCE POWER! ROYAL A POWERED SLASH!
The attack broke through her guard, allowing X-Omega Prince to strike her across her chest and knock her back.
"That…actually hurt?!" The Ultimate said in surprise when X-Omega Prince started swinging again.
Off to the side, Kanzaki started waking up and getting up while ripping the ropes off of himself. "Henshin…" he growled.
X-Omega Prince continued to slash at The Ultimate, who managed to block some of his attacks. He kicked outwards, but his opponent blocked with her arm and managed to punch him in the chest to knock him backwards. Stumbling back, he regained his footing before spinning the Key Wheel again.
DOUBLE CHARGE! PRINCE BURST!
He reared his sword back and stabbed forward, striking The Ultimate in the chest. Effortlessly, she grabbed onto the blade and pulled it out before yanking it out of X-Omega Prince's hands and hitting him across the helmet with the handle.
"Geo!" Extra-Omega ran in to help.
"King Kick!" Suddenly, VK jumped in to strike Extra-Omega with his finisher.
"May!"
Change-Cyclone Card! Weapon-Cyclone Shield! Upload! Elemental Break!
Storm jumped in between the two and held out his shield.
The two attacks made contact, Storm holding back VK as much as he could.
"Hikaru!" X-Omega Prince called out as he prepared to intervene.
"Geo! Don't you dare lose to The Ultimate! I can't stop you from fighting, but I can believe in you! Good luck!" Storm pulled out a card and flicked it towards X-Omega Prince, who caught it.
Storm looked back at VK. "Now to finish you!" the energy from his shield gathered into his fist and he pushed VK back before throwing his shield aside and punching forward, aiming for his leg. VK fell to the ground but twisted in the air to kick at Storm, his foot aimed for his head.
The two attacks made contact with the area they were aimed towards.
A large explosion came from the two, covering them and removing them from sight.
"HIKARU!" X-Omega Prince shouted.
"Kanzaki!" The Ultimate called in surprise.
From inside the explosion, two objects could be seen forming before they suddenly vanished.
The explosion died down, revealing there was nothing left.
The three stared at the remaining area in shock and surprise. "Hikaru…why?" Extra-Omega said aloud.
X-Omega Prince's hand curled into a fist and he walked over and grabbed his Royal Saber. He slid it back into his Royal Brace and inserted a key before he spun the disk multiple times.
X-Key! Powered Up! ULTIMATE CHARGE! PRINCE BREAK!
He turned to The Ultimate and got ready.
The Ultimate cracked her neck and widened her stance.
Energy surged around the two as they prepared their attacks.
"May! Get to Darry and Nagi and explain what happened! Leave this fight to me!" X-Omega Prince called while he threw her the card. She caught it but tried to stop him. "But Geo-!" Extra-Omega tried.
ROYAL X BREAK!
X-Omega Prince and The Ultimate jumped into the air.
"Ultimate Kick!"
"Royal Burst Kick!"
The two attacks made contact and caused another large explosion much like with Storm and VK.
Extra-Omega covered her eyes to shield herself from the explosion. Inside the explosion, two objects could be seen forming before disappearing.
When it died down, Extra-Omega uncovered her eyes to look at the empty area.
Kid…
I…I can't sense or feel him anymore.
What…just happened? D…did he win?
Extra-Omega fell onto her knees while still staring at the flames remaining from the explosion. She reached to her belt and pulled the Key Drive out and turned back to May, who stared with a horrified and sad look. "Geo…Hikaru…" a tear fell down her cheek. "I…I need to find Nagi and Darry" she started to sniffle as she stood up and wiped her cheeks. She walked off.
"And that's the plan." Yuji finished explaining to Nagi.
Nagi and Darry both stared at Yuji, Nagi looking thoughtful while Darry looked unsure.
"I see. But are we sure that that's a good idea?" Darry asked.
"We don't really have a choice at this point. I barely got to you guys in time. We need to get this plan moving ASAP if it needs to work so I need you to come with me now"
"I guess I could help then." Nagi nodded.
"Good, then let's get going." Yuji gestured to his car before turning around.
"Hang on! Before we go…could I just say goodbye to my friends first?"
"You think there's time?" Yuji asked over his shoulder as he got into his car.
Nagi sighed and looked down at the ground. He turned back to Darry and started talking. "Darry, even though you were slightly antagonistic towards me, thanks for being there."
"Nagi you can't be serious" Darry told him.
"I have to go. I'm sorry. But tell Geo that I'm glad I met him and that he gave me a name." Nagi told her. "And also tell May thank you as well for being there to help and act as a voice of reason. And tell them both thanks for being like a family to me even though we haven't really known each other long." Nagi listed off as he approached the car. "And tell them goodbye and that I'll see them soon." He got in the car.
"Is that it?" Yuji looked at Nagi.
"I think so. Bye Darry!" Nagi waved.
Darry hesitantly waved back as the car drove off.
As soon as the car left, Darry turned to go after Hikaru "Crap. I have to tell Hikaru what's happened immediately." She stopped however when she noticed that May was walking towards her with an upset look.
"May? What's wrong?"
"Geo and Hikaru…they're gone…"
"What? What do you mean?"
May walked over and hugged Darry while crying.
"Geo and Hikaru were caught in separate explosions; Aria says she can't sense Geo anymore. They're gone" she wept.
Darry looked forward in shock.
"Hikaru…" she said.
May continued to cry until she was pushed off by Darry, who held her by the shoulders.
"What exactly happened?"
"I…I was in the way when that VK guy tried to kill me but Hikaru jumped in to save me and he gave Geo a card before he and VK took each other out. Then Geo gave me the card and he and The Ultimate took each other out."
"What card?" Darry asked.
May sniffled before she held up the card. Darry's eyes widened but she nodded and looked at May. "May, I want you to calm down for me. Now listen closely, Geo and Hikaru aren't here, so you need to go take care of this in their place"
"Wha-? Bu-"
"May, please just listen. Hikaru explained where the situation was at its worse in the universe to me a while back. I'm going to send you there to go and fix this in Geo's place. You can do this."
May stared Darry in the eyes as she wiped her tears from her cheeks. "Why me?"
"You're the only one who can May. Geo and Hikaru are gone so it's up to you as the last Rider of this world. Ulrich is too injured to do anything so it's up to you." Darry pleaded with May.
May didn't respond.
"May?" Darry softly said.
"…I'll do it." May whispered, only barely being heard by Darry.
"Okay." Darry took the card and looked over it as it started to glow. "May, if you get involved in a fight with another Rider, fight for Geo. Even if you can't feel him, you have to have faith that everything will be alright."
"How can you be so sure?"
"Because I have faith and you should to." A vortex opened behind May and the two turned to look at it. "Whenever you're ready, just jump into the vortex."
May looked back at Darry for a moment and hugged her for a second. When she was done, she let go and looked Darry in the eyes before nodding. "Take care of Ulrich. I'll be back…I hope" she said. Turning around, May ran to the vortex before jumping in; she quickly faded from view and the vortex disappeared.
Darry turned to Ulrich and helped him up.
"Come on, all I can do now is hope for the best." She said to herself.
A man walked down the catwalk, his footsteps echoing throughout the area. He eventually stopped in front of the group.
"Who are you?" Hunter demanded.
"My name is Son Goku."

"You Heisei Riders do not deserve to be called Kamen Riders!" Goku pointed at Hunter and his friends.
The Ultimate Battle Will Begin
"Rider… Henshin!" Goku shouted.
Kamen Rider Ichigo posed and began to do battle with the Badan soldiers.

"The Showa Riders are aiming to completely destroy the Heisei Riders" Kaz told Daigo.
"The only thing we can do now is survive" Belt-san spoke from Kaz's waist.

"Even if we can survive, what makes you think it's worth it if we destroy those that had once been called allies to the Heisei Riders?" SamuraiMaru questioned.
Showa
"He's right, trying to kill us or not, they're still Kamen Riders" Daigo said.
"So are we. While you have a valid point, if they fight with the power to kill, we may have to fight back with the same kind of power" Kaz crossed his arms.
Two Eras of Kamen Rider Will Do Battle
Kamen Riders Faiz and Extra-Omega slashed at the Badan grunts, knocking them out of the way. In the background, a young man and woman could be seen protecting a group of kids.
The Future Of Kamen Rider Will Be Changed Forever.
"Are you two… Heisei Riders?" Ren asked the two Riders in the now empty lot.
"Then we'll be your opponents!" Amy shouted at them with a determined look on her face.
"Set Up!"
"A-MA-ZON!"

X slashed at Faiz, knocking him to the ground as Amazon Omega grabbed at Extra-Omega, biting down on her arm.
And, as Badan arrives,
Calem and Serena stood together with Geo and Sonia as they held up their Resshas. "ToQ Change!"
Geo and Sonia held up small cube-like items while Luna held her flashlight in front of herself. "Honno Kakusei!"
The two now stood with the Geo and Sonia. "If Badan is taking over not just the world, but the UNIVERSE, we need to act now" Serena said.
"But how are we going to do that?" Sonia asked.
No One Is Safe.
Haruto and Korrina held up their Junction Changers next to N and White. "ToQ Change!"
N and White held up their yellow guns. "Kyoryu Change!"
Haruto was prepared to fight as they glared at N and White.
"How do we know we can trust you?" Korrina asked.
"Don't associate us with what's causing this attack" N crossed his arms.
Who Will Save The Universe?!
ToQ2Gou and 3Gou swung their weapons at Badan soldiers, knocking them over. Nearby, ZyuohEagle could be seen swinging a whip around himself, striking several grunts at once. Near him, ZyuohGorilla slammed her fists into several grunts before tackling one to the ground. In the background, ZyuohTheWorld could be seen striking Badan soldiers with her rod-like weapon while also kicking at them as they got near.
ToQXGou and Ygou stood side by side with KyoryuBlack and KyoryuBlue.
"Now then, let's finish this, shall we?" KyoryuBlack asked his teammates.
"You're… a Heisei Rider… that transforms with locks?" Kaz asked Hunter, looking at Hunter's Sengoku Driver.
"You transform with toy cars?" Hunter eyed the Shift Speed Shift Car on Kaz's shoulder.

Raito blinked as the forces of Badan crowded around him. "That's all you guys are sending in? I don't even need my Rider form to take you all down"

Calem and Serena ran with Geo and Sonia towards the fighting, Calem and Serena having their ToQ Changers equipped on their wrists. The two held up their Ressha's. "ToQ Change!"

"Henshin!" Dan shouted with his right arm extended before he slammed his palms onto the side of his belt.
"Are you sure this universe is worth protecting? We're in the middle of a war and you're concerned over the safety of people you don't even know" Raito asked May. "Maybe it's time for it to fall after all. Change things up a bit."
May glared at him. "I don't care if there's a war going on or if we all die because of it. I will definitely make sure the universe is safe!"

"If you Showa Riders think you can just destroy us and get away with it…" Hunter pulled out his Orange Lockseed. "Then I'll destroy you first!"
