X, Azalea, and Erika learn that their soul powers can be unlocked through exposure to magic, and deactivate after a few minutes without exposure to magic. Xtreme's yellow Justice soul allows him to shoot small blasts of energy that can dissolve magic or impact physical matter. Azalea's green Kindness soul immobilizes her, but also provides a shield that can block magic. Erika's blue Integrity soul gives her the ability to jump much higher than she normally could.
The monsters spend a few moments helping the teenagers learn how to use their soul powers. Afterwards, they inform the humans that they need their help with something, and give them an address and a time for meeting again the next day, to which the humans agree wholeheartedly (except Azalea won't be there due to a schedule conflict). On the way home from the park, X and Azalea have their first kiss.
