Hey what do you know! It was a week this time! Sweet! XD Not much to say this time just please enjoy this next chapter and please as always leave a review and let me know what you think! :]

The next morning Leo was awaked by the smell of bacon and the sound of it as well. Rolling off the couch he pulled on his shirt and made his way into the kitchen. He sat down tiredly at one of the chairs seeing Mikey happily flipping a pancake with his apron on.

"Mornin' bro!" Mikey called with a smile as April gathered food onto a plate.

"Morning Leo." She said with a smile placing the plate in front of him.

"Thanks." He said smiling back at them and rubbing his arm. "Morning guys."

"What's wrong?" She asked curiously noticing his cringe.

Leo was about to explain, but thought better of it. His fight with Miwa when she first found out about who she was had been a few days ago, but the cut she had left in his arm was pretty deep. He had been too tired and exhausted to do anything about it other than cover it, then everything else happened and now he was paying for it.

"It's nothing." He finally said, "Just a scratch."

April didn't look convinced, but she shrugged it off anyway. "Sleep well?" She asked instead.

"Well enough." He answered.

"Well I slept like a baby." Mikey said with a smile adding another pancake to the large pile and going to make another.

"Dat's because you are a baby." Someone said causing everyone to turn around and see Raph entering the room. He plopped down in a chair smiling his thanks at April when she delivered a plate for him as well.

"Takes one to know one, bro." Mikey said his smile never faltering.

This caused April to giggle and Leo smiled tiredly. Raph even smirked at him.

"Boy that smells good." Another voice added and Donnie walked into the room. He was at once greeted by April handing him a plate of food and a kiss on the cheek.

"Not dis early guys, please." Raph begged rubbing his face.

"Jealous?" Donnie said smirking at him taking a seat. Raph just glared at him.

"Good morning, my children." A warm voice said and everyone turned smiling at the old rat as he joined them.

"Morning sensei!" They all said bowing their heads slightly at him in respect.

Master Splinter took a seat and April once again handed a plate over. He smiled at her before glancing at them all, "Where is Miwa?"

"She isn't up yet." April answered. "I'm sure she's still pretty tired."

"Should I go get her?" Mikey offered holding up his spatula.

"That won't be necessary, she's here." They all turned around to see Miwa heading into the room wearing Leo's overly large shirt and baggy sweat pants.

"Good morning daughter." Master Splinter said with a smile moving so that she could sit next to him.

Miwa smiled softly at him, "Good morning father."

"Sleep well?" Leo asked from across the counter.

She smiled at him and nodded, "Yes, thank you."

April put a plate of food in front of her than took one for herself sitting next to Donnie. Finally Mikey turned everything off and took his own plate to sit next to Raph.

The rest of breakfast was a pleasant affair and afterward they all headed into the dojo and trained. Despite assurances that Miwa was exempt from training because of her injuries, she refused and trained right alongside them. She and April had a little laugh at the boys' expense however as it was a little obvious Donnie and Leo were trying to impress them. They really only succeeded in getting their butts kicked because they weren't really paying attention. By the time they were done. It was around 9ish and Casey had arrived. Time to come up with a plan.

They gathered around in the pit and Miwa started off. "All of the Shredder's plans are stored in a central computer base run by Baxter Stockman. If he has the information we need. It'll be in there."

"How do we get there?" Leo asked.

Miwa kneeled down to the ground and started drawing on a piece of paper. "The computer rooms are on the 10th floor in the tower. The only way up is through the elevator. They have the safety stairs, but the Shredder installed cameras into everything. There is however a window that leads to the 10th floor and we can use that to get into the building undetected. It's level with the roof of the building across from it." Leo nodded about ready to speak, but Miwa spoke again before he could. "There are however, guards patrolling the roof top of the Foot building and if we tried to get in, they would see us and alert everyone else."

"Alright." Leo said thinking. "We need to get to that computer. Donnie, do you think you can hack it?" He asked turning to the genius.

Donnie nodded, "If I can hack a Kraang computer, I can hack a human one." He said confidently.

"I do believe I helped with that." Mikey said sticking nose in the air a little pompously.

Donnie rolled his eyes as Leo spoke, "Not now, Mikey." The younger boy deflated a little before Miwa spoke again.

"I also heard about the Shredder using something he called a Siphon. I didn't know what it was about at the time, but I can only assume it's for that demon." She said looking at Donnie.

The genius nodded, "That's a good assumption. He might be trying to use some sort of power siphon. That would allow him to gather the power along with his link with the Shredder. We would probably need to disable that too."

Leo took a breath than spoke. "Alright. April, Mikey. You two are on distraction. Don't let the guards see us or let anyone else know we're there."

They nodded, but Donnie suddenly shook his head, "No." He said drawing everyone's attention.

"What do ya mean 'no'?" Raph asked with a raised eyebrow. "You're not her mother. Stop actin' way over protective."

Donnie glared at him slightly, "May I remind all of you that the Kraang are still after April. The only reason she's still in hiding is because they are after her."

"Donnie-" April tried, but he shook his head.

"If we go charging into the Foot's headquarters they'll alert the Kraang and we risk losing her." Donnie said strongly.

April sighed and took Donnie's face gently into her hands, "Donnie," She began softly, "I'm glad you care so much about me, but I'm a part of this team, this family too." Donnie opened his mouth to protest but April shook her head. "I want to help, I know I can and keeping me locked away isn't going to make them want to stop finding me. I know it's dangerous, but I can't keep living on the sidelines anymore. I'm coming with you guys whether you like it or not. And if you leave me behind, I'll just follow you in secret." She finished confidently.

Donnie looked concerned, but finally he nodded, "Alright. But please, promise me you'll be careful."

April smiled at him and drew him into a hug, he complying eagerly, "Of course I will."

"This is not without risk for any of you." Master Splinter said finally speaking after remaining quiet for so long. "You each run the chance that one of you will not return."

"We know sensei." Leo said. "It's a risk we have to take." The others nodded and Leo continued, "So moving on with the plan. The rest of us will follow Miwa to the control room. There Donnie, you break into the system and get the information we need. Once you learn the location of the power siphon we'll break into teams. Raph, you and Miwa will find the power siphon, destroy it, then get out of there." They nodded. "Casey, you stay with Donnie and protect him. Donnie you learn everything you can from those computers." The two nodded as well. "I'll head to the throne room and get that helmet. We'll keep in contact with the T-Phones and once we finished, we'll meet at Mr. Murakami's place, but make sure none of you are followed." Leo sighed after he was done. "I know we all just woke up, but we should get some rest before we go out because we're leaving tonight after its dark."

They all nodded once again and got up and went their separate ways. Leo walked up to Miwa a little hesitantly, "Are you sure, you're up for this?" He asked unsure himself. She was just in a fight with the Shredder the day before yesterday. She wasn't exactly completely healed yet.

"Yes I am." She said confidently. "I'm fine, Leo. I promise. Besides who else is going to be able to lead you guys through the Foot's base?"

Leo sighed, "Yeah, I know it's just… you should be at one hundred percent when going into battle, not sixty."

Miwa let out a little laugh, "I'm a little more than sixty, but thanks for worrying." She added giving him a kiss on the cheek before walking away. He didn't want to let it go, but he did anyway. Just like he didn't want to separate from her on the mission. But he knew if he stayed with her he couldn't do his job right and she would be safe with Raph. The hot head was fiercely protective and she and Raph would make a good team together. They were both pretty intense fighters. Not much would get past them.

Leo also had reservations about separating Donnie and April. Neither one were going to be happy about it, especially Donnie, but it had to be done. If he himself wouldn't be able to stay alert properly with Miwa around, Donnie sure wouldn't be able to do it with April.

"Leo can I talk to you." Donnie said suddenly drawing Leo's attention from his own thoughts.

"Sure." He said and let Donnie draw him away from the group so they could speak in private.

"Why did you separate April and I?" Donnie asked not looking too pleased about the idea. Leo suppressed a groan, he knew it. "If something were to happen to her I-"

"If something were to happen to her, you wouldn't be able to focus." Leo said interrupting him. Donnie was only concerned about someone he cared about. He didn't need to reprimand for it, but Leo had to tell him how it was. "Donnie, I know you love April, but tell me the truth. Would you really be able to focus and fight fully attentively if April were hurt?" Donnie opened his mouth to speak, but paused and sighed looking at him sadly. That was all he needed. Leo sighed as well and placed a gentle hand on his shoulder. "I know how you feel. I would rather be with Miwa, but I know I won't be able to focus either if I'm constantly worrying about her. This will be hard for all of us, but in the end everything will be fine. It just requires a little faith."

Donnie shook his head, "I know, I know. I can't help how I feel."

"Any more than you can't help breathing." Leo finished with an understanding smile. "Try to get some rest." He said before they both walked away.

The rest of the day was spent honing skills and resting as Leo had said. No one was really prepared for what they were about to do, but they all knew they were going to have to do it. At some point Mikey had even asked about school.

"Are we not worried about going tomorrow?" He had asked a little concerned.

"Dude, the entire world is at stake." Casey said looking at him from his perch on the couch.

"Yeah. I'm a little more concerned about stoppin' the maniacs rather dan my history test tomorrow." Raph added.

"Right." Mikey agreed nodding his head in understanding. "Because if we don't we'll all be history."

Everyone looked at him then with varying degrees of questioning. "You're an idiot." Raph finally said shaking his head.

"Hey!" Mikey cried offended. "I said I was a comedian, I never said I was a good comedian."

At this April and Miwa burst into laughter the boys shaking their heads at him. Leo sighed in exasperation, Donnie smacked his forehead, Casey looked confused and Raph looked like he wanted to pound him. "Dat doesn't even make any sense!" The hot headed teen cried.

"It doesn't have to make sense. I'm an artist." Mikey said with a glistening smile, his own self-importance shining through.

"I'll give ya artist!" Raph cried bunching up his fists. He jumped off the couch and started chasing a now screaming Mikey.

Leo sighed and took a seat next Miwa. "Do they do that often?" She asked curiously.

"Often enough." He answered.

"I think it's how they show each other they care." Donnie added. "Some backwards way of doing it. Annoy one another to the point where one wants to kill the other and there you have it. Brotherly love."

This earned a round of laughter and Leo was glad for it. After all in a few short hours they were going to be in deep waters. It was good to enjoy what little peace they got until it was all shattered.
