Hello! Hi guys! I am not dead! I just hit a huge snag, but I'm back and rearing to go! Because I've been gone for so long I'm giving you guys two chapters tonight! Enjoy and please let me know what you think!

It had been exactly a week since the raid on the Foot building. Leo still hadn't woken up from his coma and tensions were high. Miwa hardly ever left his side and Mikey could always see her hand holding his when he entered the room. Donatello was constantly worried about April and it affected his mind yet again. He had shut himself within the lab, working on everything he could, trying to cure Leonardo and decrypting all the files he had found trying to find some way to free April and to stop what was happening.

Raph had taken to his training. He hardly ever left the dojo fighting constantly and it wasn't just training, he constantly fought with everybody who got in his way. The few times that Casey stopped by he would usually retreat to a game and lose himself within the video madness. Master splinter took to meditating Mikey usually saw him with his eyes closed and humming.

Mikey himself couldn't find the energy to joke or run around. He usually just sat down watching his cartoons wishing for something better. He didn't even find the energy to tease Raph.

"Meow." Mikey was startled out of his thoughts by the sound and looked down to see his little small cat Ice Cream Kitty.

Mikey offered him a small yet sad smile, "Hey Klunk." He said softly reaching over and stroking the soft fur behind his ear. Klunk let out another meow and crawled onto his lap rubbing his head against his chest. Mikey offered his cat a small smile though he knew it was forced. "Thanks for trying buddy." He said knowing that cat was trying to make him feel better. Mikey sighed and looked over the room. Empty. Silent. His home was normally filled with laughter and the sounds of games being played, brother teasing brother and smiles all around. Now it was empty and silent.

Mikey picked up his cat and hugged him closer to himself needing the comfort. He wanted his family to be fixed again. He didn't like the sad, angry silence it was too much like…

Mikey shut his eyes tight and held Klunk tighter. The only response was purring was he snuggled closer to his friend offering him the only comfort he could.

Raphael punched and kicked the heavy bag a scowl permanently on his face. Leo still hadn't woken up, Donnie pretty much lost it, Casey was turning into a zombie, Master Splinter was unusually silent, Miwa was glued to Leo and Mikey didn't smile anymore. That was how Raph knew they were losing. Mikey didn't smile anymore. Raph would never admit it out loud, of course, but his little brother's smile always gave him hope.

Mikey was someone that saw the silver lining in everything so Raph always knew there was hope even when he couldn't see it. Now though, now Mikey didn't smile and Raph knew everything was lost. It was why he was so angry. He couldn't do anything to help April who was like a sister to him now and he couldn't have done anything to protect his brother Leo from that coward's, the Shredder's, sneak attack.

Every time Raph hit the punching bag he imagined it was the Shredder's face he was pummeling into a pulp. He wanted so bad to take away the pain from his family. He wanted to shake Leo awake so he was okay and shove him into Miwa's face. He wanted to find April make sure she was okay then shove her into Donnie's face. He wanted to wake Casey from his depressed daze and have his best friend back. He wanted to fix Master Splinter's heart and heal his father. He wanted everything to be like it was before so Mikey could smile again and everything would be okay again and they would win.

But because Raph didn't know how to do any of those things it just made him so much angrier and he growled his kicks and punches becoming stronger and more frenzied.

Splinter could hear his son's anger getting stronger and the bag he hit swung faster with his strength and sadness. Splinter also wanted to take his aggression out on the bag, but he knew if he caved to it, he wouldn't stop and his family would be hurt even more by it. Why had Saki done this?! Why had taken such hate out on children?! 'And why,' Splinter thought, 'couldn't it have been me?' Splinter sighed as he saw Michelangelo curled up on the couch hugging Klunk close to him. Donatello was still in his lab working much too hard to try and wake Leonardo up and decrypt all the information his sons had found. Miwa had yet to leave Leonardo's side and the boy was still in a coma. Not to mention April was still missing with no information on where she was.

Splinter's heart broke for them. They were so young and never should've had such a burden placed on their shoulders. But as he was chosen so were they, he just wished they didn't have to be so young… no even then his heart would break. Despite not knowing them before all this and despite them not all being related to one another, Splinter loved them all very much and if there was anything he could do for his sons and daughters, he would.

Miwa sat next to Leo in his room holding his hand as he remained in his coma. She felt more tears roll down her cheeks, but she was too exhausted mentally and physically to wipe them away anymore. Miwa hated crying, she really did, and she was always taught it was a sign of weakness. She knew now that wasn't necessarily the case, but she still prided herself on her toughness and tough people didn't cry… at least not as much as she has been the last week.

She was actually a little surprised at how quickly Leo and the guys… her father, had gotten to her. They really had become her family and she really was truly starting to love them. Why oh why couldn't Leo just wake up!? Besides the fact that he needed to for his health, they were running out of time. The Shredder wasn't going to delay, she knew that much, and since they had April they were going to go through with the plan. Miwa wasn't one to pray all the time, but at the moment she bowed her head closed her eyes and started praying for a miracle.

April pushed and pulled against her bonds. She knew she couldn't break through, but she wouldn't give up. She wouldn't let them think they've won. She did however pause, arms and body exhausted from fighting all day and some well into the night. She let out gasping breaths still praying that everyone would find and save her. She knew they would and she knew they wouldn't give up, but she was 15. She was scared.

She had been there for… she didn't even know how long. They had moved her form her cell into this room the day before and judging by the three meals a day she had received though they weren't anything special, about a step above bread and water, she had been there for a least several days. She wondered what was taking the guys so long to recuse her. She wondered if her father had called the police, probably. She wondered if everyone had made it out okay and she wondered how Donnie was doing. She knew that if their situations were reversed she would be inconsolable. She desperately wished she was able to reach her father and friends some way to let them know that at least she was still alive.

Suddenly, the sound of metal steps came to her ears and her heart started to race in fear. Looking up she saw none other than the Shredder standing in the doorway watching her. Deciding to swallow her fear, she glared at him and snapped. "What do you want, you psychopath?"

His eyes narrowed at her and for a moment he said nothing, but that moment ended and he stepped into the room. "You are going to help me get ultimate power." He said starting to circle her.

April followed him as best she could from the restraints of the chair holding her in place. "Not on your life." She growled.

"But it won't be on my life." The Shredder argued. "It will be yours."
