Heyo peeps! I hope you all have had a wonderful and thank you filled Thanksgiving! Sorry for this being a couple of days late, but here is the next chapter! Enjoy!

Leo looked around as his family ran along the dark New York rooftops. Everyone was there. Master Splinter, Miwa, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, Casey, and Leatherhead. They only missed April and were on their way to get her back. They had all set out a little over 20 minutes ago and Leo was a little surprised at how… solemn it was. There was normally noisy streets filled with people, shouting, calling for cabs, or doing any number of things New Yorkers did. The many lights and smog from the city caused a black out of the stars. It seemed to add to the ominousness if it all.

Tonight however everything seemed to be muted. The noise from the city was muffled and there didn't seem to be many people out. It was as if it was the quiet before the storm and all of New York knew it. Luckily, Leo was able to see a patch of starlight from above. So he took a deep breath and treasured the moment because he knew they would reach the Foot building soon and it might very be the last place he ever went. This could be the last time he saw the New York sky, so he was very grateful for the look of the heavens before it was all gone.

"We're almost there." Miwa said as they jumped onto another building. She then pulled herself onto the top of the roof and gasped. "No." She whispered in fear.

"What is it?" Leo asked he came up to the top to join her.

"We're too late." She said staring as the rest of them came up. "It's already started."

Leo then kneeled down and took out the binoculars. Looking into them they saw April up on a platform and connected to a headpiece. The headpiece connected with wires to a machine behind her that seemed to power up a large wall looking device. "Look!" Mikey cried drawing everyone's attention to the other side. The Shredder stood there the Kraang surrounding him in a circle as they chanted something and the Shredder placed his helmet on. Many Kraang and Foot were around watching the spectacle and had no idea what real trouble they were in. Demons tented not to care about anything, but themselves.

"We must get down there and stop them!" Master Splinter said before moving to do just that.

Everyone nodded and followed his lead. They landed near the center of the watchers and still had to get to the platform and stop the Shredder, but of course the moment they landed they were attacked. This caused the ceremony to stop momentarily as the Shredder spoke to them.

"The turtles! You are too late! I will have the power of the Demon Shredder and will control this world!" He then went back to work and they all tried even harder to get to them. "Turn on the portal!" The Shredder cried.

They all heard the hum of power and Donnie stared in amazed fear as April's eyes became clear and white with power started to glow causing the rest of her body to glow as well. Suddenly behind her a huge dark portal opened up swirling with wind and lightning. The boys knew this was not good.

"Donnie!" Leo cried, "Try and stop her!"

Donnie ran off to do his best as everyone else continued to fight off the Kraang and Foot ninja as best they could. Donnie was really glad Leatherhead was on their side as he was ripping through the Kraang like there was no tomorrow. And if they failed there would be.

"April!" Donnie cried racing too her throwing the ninjas and Kraang off him like tissue paper. He had one thought on his mind and one thought only and nothing was going to stop him from saving her. Finally he made it up onto the platform where she was attached. Grabbing her shoulders he started to shake her. "April come on! Snap out of it!" Nothing seemed to work and now as he looked behind them he saw even more Kraang falling through the portal in the hundreds if not thousands!

"Oh shit!" Raph cried as they were almost run over by the Kraang creatures attacking them. It was at that point that the Foot ninja realized their folly for the Kraang started attacking them as well.

"What!?" The Shredder cried. "What do you think you're doing!?" He roared turning on the lead Kraang. "We had a deal!"

"Indeed we did, but you have out lasted your usefulness." The head Kraang said as more Kraang swarmed onto the platform taking over the Shredder and holding him down. "However if our lord is to survive he will need a body of his own. You will do nicely." The Shredder glared at the Kraang not wanting to be used for some dead demon. If he was going to get this power he was going to do it on his terms.

Donnie was a little surprised that the Kraang had been all but ignoring him, but he wasn't about to complain about it. He moved from his hiding spot on the platform and back to April. He grabbed her shoulders again, but before anything could be said the ground started to shake and the Kraang ceased coming from the portal.

"Yeah!" Mikey cried with triumph. "They ran out of Kraang!"

"I don't think it's that Mikey." Leo said as everything seemed to stop around them.

A loud and soul shattering roar erupted into the space causing everyone to fall to their knees holding onto their ears as pain exploded in them. Leo looked around and saw his family cringing at the sound and just happened to look over at the portal. His eyes widened and the pain in his ears was forgotten as a large black thing started coming out of the portal. It was so massive that it had to come out one limb at a time.

Everyone then seemed to see what he was seeing as Mikey started to scream in fear and Raph started cursing so badly a sailor would shutter. Miwa and Master Splinter seemed to run to each other both staring in terror at the creature. Donnie stood on the platform stark white standing in front of April in a heroic, yet in vain gesture to protect her. Leatherhead was the first to recover as he roared his own roar before charging at the thing, throwing Kraang out of the way as he went.

Leatherhead went to swipe at the creature, but the moment he touched him, he roared once more, but this time in pain as he was thrown back grabbing his paw which looked like it had nearly been burned off!

"You are pitiful mortals!" The head Kraang cried laughing at them. "You are nothing compared to the Master! The one true Shredder! You can try all you want, but no mortal can touch him without going up in flames!" He then proceeded to laugh once more as the Demon Shredder continued to come out of the portal.

"That's is the Demon Shredder!?" Mikey cried starring in horror.

"How de hell are we supposed ta beat 'im if we can't even touch 'im!?" Raph asked just as horrified as the rest of them.

"You don't!" The head Kraang cried as he started to laugh his head off. "You die!" As they fought they heard more than saw, the Kraang then started a chant that was not good.

Raph spun around and looked out over the fight and to the platform. There the Kraang held the human Shredder down and the large black demon started turning to black vapor and entering his body. "Uh guys!" Raph cried nervously. This didn't look so good.

Everyone turned and looked at what he was talking about and all jaws dropped. "That doesn't look like it feels very good." Mikey said with a cringe as they saw the human Shredder convulsing.

"What's happening Donnie?!" Leo cried fighting off more Kraang.

Donnie threw a few Kraang off of him and looked over to where Leo was asking. "I'm not expert on Demons and summoning, but it looks like they're combining both Shredders!" He called out.

"Oh 'cause dat's gonna make tings easier!" Raph snapped irritably.

"Well at least we'll be able to touch him right?" Mikey asked as he and Miwa double teamed several Kraang. Everything kind of paused for a moment as everyone let that sink in.

"Ya know Mikey I take it back." Raph began with a smirk and jumped towards his brother. He then patted him on his head and smiled down at him. "You're not a total moron."

Mikey smiled at him, "Don't worry I won't let it get to my head."

Another roar sounded and everyone spun around to the human Shredder standing no longer held by the Kraang and exuding a dark aura. "This world is mine!" He cried his voice disoriented and disturbed. He then went to the highest point and held out his hands. They all watched as more dark energy was being pulled from the air and into him causing his aura to increase.

"What's happening!?" Miwa cried as a terrible fear fill her and all she wanted to do was curl up and hide. This was something they were all feeling. Something deep in them caused them to feel a fear that was distinctively primal. They knew in their baser instincts that this was pure evil and it had to be stopped. Suddenly they started to hear crying and screaming from the city.

"The demon is drawing in the fear and darkness from everyone to power himself!" Master Splinter cried as realization hit him. He then went straight to his daughter intent on not leaving her again.

"We have to stop him!" Mikey said forcing himself to keep fighting and not drop to the ground and start crying. That wouldn't help anyone and he would just end up getting killed.

"We can't do much wit all dese Kraang here!" Raph snapped slamming a Kraang into ground with a roar of his own. He was afraid as well, but he was madder than that and he wasn't going to let this control him!

Leo agreed and he couldn't focus on fighting the Kraang and fighting his fear. "Donnie! Shut down the portal!"

Donnie for his part was trying to do the same. Fight his fear and the Kraang and trying to wake up April. Suddenly a small sound, something that no one would be able to hear under these circumstances came to his ears. Confused he looked back at April and gasped. She had tears running down her face from her white eyes. "D…Don…nie…" Donnie eyes widened once more as he barely heard her speak his name. Was she conscious? Was she aware of what was going on? Was she in pain? He wondered with a gasp.

"April?" He asked softly, somehow the world around them stopping. He waited for a moment, but nothing else happened. He growled in anger. There had to be something he could do for her! His eyes suddenly widened as an idea came to him. Maybe… maybe it could shock her enough. Or maybe he was just being an idiot. Donnie growled as he destroyed more Kraang, but it didn't matter how many he and everyone destroyed. They would just come right back out through the still open portal! Throwing cation to the wind he cried, "What the hell!?" Then he kissed April straight on the lips.

Beneath him April gasped in shock, her eyes coming back to normal. He pulled away and held her carefully as she fell to the ground. He had been right. A big enough shock to her system would wake her up. Boy was he glad it had worked! That was something neither one of them had expected. It was totally a fairy tale move to make, but he was desperate and frankly didn't care as long as it worked.

With April's power now broken the portal at once disappeared and the Kraang stopped coming. One problem taken care of, now they had to worry about the main big one. Destroying the Demon Shredder.
