Leo opened his eyes to see he was once more on the rooftop. The demon Shredder was there still absorbing dark energy and everything looked the same. What had just happened to him? He looked down at himself for he felt a bit different and was shocked to see a green scaly body with blue accents. He looked over his back and instead of just a shell he found he had wings. Wings made of blades, yet somehow he knew he would be able to fly. He had claws on his hands and feet that were like blades as well and large snout full of teeth.

A roar rang through the air and he looked over to his brothers in similar states. They were all dragons. Raph had larger wings than he, but were red with diamond like edges. His body too was green, but with red accents. Instead of feet, he had two serpent like tails coming from his torso, but still had knife like claws and his snout was full of just as sharp teeth.

Leo then noticed Donnie was there too. He looked more like a sea serpent dragon. With webbed tail on the end instead of feet and webbed ears. His wings were small and webbed as well, but Leo knew he could fly with them. His body was green, but had purple accents.

Next to Donnie was Mikey. His dragon form looked the most like a turtle. He body was green with orange accents and he had hands and feet with sharps claws too. His wings were more like a ladybugs and how they worked, but were sharp as blades. He and Donnie had instead of sharp teeth, sharp beaks that would rip anything apart.

Seeing his brothers like himself he knew they had accomplished what Master Splinter had said and became their soul forms. They all looked towards him and even though they didn't say anything to each other they felt the power of being chosen for this surge through them and they all suddenly knew what they had to do.

::-::…

April took a deep breath and slowly opened her eyes to see she was still where Donnie had set her down after saving her from the Kraang and keeping the portal open. Looking around she saw that the boys were missing, but Casey, Master Splinter, and Miwa were there with her. They looked like they were sleeping, but they were both moving around and looking like they were in pain.

April made her way to them and gently touched the old rat's shoulder. "Master Splinter?" She said softly, trying to wake him from the bad dream. "Master Splinter are you alright?" She tried again shaking him harder, but still nothing worked. She then moved on to Miwa and Casey, but got the same result. "What's going on? Why-" April then let out a cry as a bolt of white hot pain shot through her head. She fell to her knees grabbing her head and trying to stop the pain, but it came nonetheless.

While in pain April was seeing visions of hundreds and thousands of people screaming and crying in fear. She saw them experiencing horrific things begging for peace. Begging for the pain and suffering to end. Then she saw Master Splinter. He wasn't a rat, but somehow she knew it was him. He was standing in front of a burning house kneeling on the ground crying. In his arms were the bodies of a young woman and a baby. Both of them had been burned and were dead. Then just as suddenly she saw Miwa. Miwa was standing in front of the Shredder who was killing Master Splinter and Leo. Miwa was chained to the ground not able to stop them from dying. Then she saw Casey. Casey was standing in front of a burning building as well with the street gang Purple Dragons killing everyone in it. He couldn't move either to protect his family.

April gasped as she fell to the ground, barley stopping herself from falling on her face. "I get it." She said to herself. Looking over to the Demon Shredder where he was still pulling in dark energy. "His dark aura is pulling the negativity of people's fears and giving him strength forcing everyone to live their worst nightmare." April looked over at everyone trying desperately to figure out how she could wake them up. Or for that matter where the guys were!

Just as that thought left her mind a bright white light came from out of nowhere and knocked her off her feet. April, shocked quickly pulled herself to her feet and looked up. Standing around the Demon Shredder were four large and powerful looking dragons. They exuded strength and were unlike anything she had ever seen before. Her eyes were bulged and her jaw was dropped as she had no idea where they came from. Were they good or bad? Were they going to help them or make things so totally worse?

Then as one accord they took to the sky. April ran a bit close trying to figure to where they were going when the purple looking serpent one turned is reddish brown eyes to her. "April, it's me." April started in amazement as she heard a voice in her head.

"Donnie?" She thought back looking at the purple dragon.

It nodded its head. "Yeah. It's me. It's all of us." Donnie answered.

"Wow."

"April, we know what we have to do, but we're going to need your help to get the portal back open. Do you think you can do that?" He asked flying down to her.

April took a deep breath. Opening that portal had been had and on the slightly painful side. She had no desire to ever do it again, but she knew that was the only way to get the Demon Shredder back to its dimension. She knew she had to help. Looking up at him she nodded her head. "Yeah. I remember how it felt to open it. I can do it again."

"Good." She heard Leo say and glanced over at the blue dragon who, though she couldn't see, she knew he was smiling at her. "We'll tell you when. Donnie."

Before Donnie could fly into the air, April ran to him and wrapped her arms around his tail as best she could and gave him a squeeze. Donnie lowered his head to get her a bit of a hug too before he lifted into the air and joined his brothers.

She watched as they flew above the Demon Shredder who now noticed them and stopped drawing in the dark energy. "You think your soul forms will stop me!?" Before anything could happen the boys started flying in a large circle above him. They started going so fast they became a blur and the blur turned into a glowing gold light. The gold light then came down and covered the Demon Shredder incasing him in a cylinder like prison.

He at once was not happy with the situation and roared in anger while striking the prison. It didn't seem to stop the boys as they continued to fly and the light became brighter and brighter. The Demon Shredder then started to fall to the ground as if he was in pain grabbing his body he cried out when suddenly the gold light seemed to fall in on him and a big explosion seemed to sound.

April closed her eyes at the light for a moment or two before she looked over to see the boys had stopped flying and were now waiting for something. She then looked down at the Demon Shredder to see he was on the ground not moving at all. April took a tentative step forward. It couldn't have been that easy, could it? Was he really gone? Was he dead?

"April stop!" April froze in her steps and looked up to see the boys watching the Demon Shredder and Leo looking towards her. "He's not dead."

April's eyes widened as she saw his body start to move. Quickly and out of fear she ran back to where she was. Suddenly darkness started seeping out of him and a form started to take shape as it was standing out of the body. April realized the boys had expelled the Demon Shredder from Oroku Saki's body. However, she quickly realized, now that he was not restricted by a human form he could do anything.

"You have sealed your fates!" The demon cried as it got bigger and bigger and started to take shape. When he was done April stared in terror as she saw the demon was now a demon dragon and he was huge. He was pitch black with blood red accents and bone like wings. His claws on his hands and feet were like the deadliest katana blade and his teeth were like razors in his long snake like snout. "I will destroy anything and everything you have ever loved. This battle will be your last!" The demon Shredder roared. April covered her ears in a vain attempt to block out his horrifying voice.

"Ha! You wish ugly!" Raph cried before all four of them charged at him.

Once again April started in amazement. It was incredible how they fought. One brother would attack and as the Demon Shredder would retaliate and attack the brother, another jumped in to take his place. They worked seamlessly like this biting, scratching, and clawing at him until April realized with every attack, golden light came from them and entered the Demon. With more and more light entering him, he started to descend and April could sense he was weakening. She didn't know how she knew for sure, but she just knew.

"April!" Donnie grunted as the Demon Shredder slammed into his stomach. "Get the portal ready!"

April nodded determined. "Okay." She then ran past the fight nearly getting crushed by a downed Mikey before running back over to where the portal had been. April placed her hand on the cold metal of the wall. Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves and try and concentrate April focused on the feeling she had when they had forced her to open it. She focused on connecting with a link deep inside her and pulling the link from beneath and up to the surface, through her hands and into the wall. Moments later the swirling vortex of the portal started to show through and it got bigger and bigger.

April felt the pain, but she was able to push it aside and fell into an easy concentration keeping the portal opened, but before she could celebrate, she felt thousands of tiny body start to run into it and she suddenly realized the Kraang were trying to get back through! A portal wasn't just a one way door! How could she be so stupid!?

April narrowed her eyes in anger. The Kraang had used her and used her family and caused this horrible event to happen. She was done letting them do whatever they liked. She wasn't going to let them win! The boys were handling the Demon Shredder, she could handle the Kraang.

With more willpower than she thought she had, April was able to keep the door shut on their side and not allow the Kraang through. Though, she knew she couldn't keep it up for long.

"Guys!" She screamed unable to speak only in her mind. "Hurry up! The Kraang are trying to come back through with the portal open and I can only do this for so long!"

"We got you covered sister!" Mikey cried. The boys then went to attack him all at once. He was not at all prepared for it and the sudden attack sent him crashing to the ground.

The boys landed, circling the Demon Shredder. "You think you can defeat me!? I am all powerful! It takes more than you puny attacks to harm me." The demon roared though he wasn't really fooling him.

"Oh so us winnin', by kicking your butt is jus' a figment of our imagination." Raph said rolling his eyes.

"Yeah and I'm pretty sure you were getting tired up there, old man." Mikey added with a giggle.

"Face it demon, you can't beat us and you know it!" Raph said before he and Mikey high-fived in a weird, tail/claw slap.

The demon roared in anger and attacked them once more throwing them all away and off their feet. "SILENCE!" It boomed in rage. "I will not allow you to speak to that way!" The brothers got up quickly and began another battle. Using the light they had created before, to enter the body of the demon until he fell. They landed once more all looking smug, but then the demon stood once more with a laugh. "I am ancient I cannot be killed by you mere mortals no matter how much power you have! Try as you might, you cannot defeat me!"

"Weren't really trying to. NOW!" Leo cried before he and his brothers launched at him again. Instead of fighting him they started shoving him into the portal. April was growing weak from the constant pull and push of the Kraang. The moment the demon was shoved somewhat into the portal she let out a cry. This was just too much!

"Don't give up April!" Donnie cried as he ripped at the demon's throat. "We almost have him! You can do this!"

"NO! I will not go back!" The Demon Shredder roared thrashing about as much as he could. Donnie and Mikey were holding him back as much as they could as Raph attacked him to try and push him back.

"You are not welcome here! So get out!" Leo cried as he ran at full speed right at him, before he head butted the demon shoving him into the portal.

"Close it!" Raph shouted.

At once April let go and fell to the ground in relief from the pain and effort. Once the portal was closed the demons roars and curses were cut off forever. That was the last thing April was conscious of before she passed out.
