Dragon
"L, don't eat those cookies yet," Light said, not turning, but continuing to stir the noodles in pot in front of him. Though his back was turned and he faced the oven, he had just set a batch of cookies onto a cooling rack on top of the counter and knew that L was no doubt already sidling into the kitchen to steal a few. Some would call it a sixth sense, but Light just knew L very well, and more than one case of a burnt tongue had made Light wise to L's antics. "They just came out of the oven and are too hot for you to eat," Light continued blandly, poking idly at the noodles.
Pausing mid-snatch, hand hovering scant inches over a cookie, L only quirked an eyebrow at Light's back before muttering, "…Fire cannot kill a dragon."
