Chapter 5: Terror of the Fanboy

Johnny Rancid, a gray skinned villain on a motorcycle holding a sack of jewels, was leaving a path of smoke as he laughed at his recent haul. Unfortunately for him, his victory was short lived when a red birdarang destroyed one of his mirrors. He turned around and saw Robin on his R-cycle, Cyborg was in his new car, the T-car, and the rest flying behind them.

"We can do this the easy way or the hard way, Rancid," Danny shouted as his hands glowed. "Give up, or we make you!"

"How about I break you brats!" Rancid shouted as he pulled out a grenade from his motorcycle. Terra quickly threw a rock, causing it to blow up before it reached them.

Raven used her magic to try and block Rancid's path, but he used a car a ramp to jump over it. Beastboy flew ahead of him and turned into a giant elephant to block his path. Rancid just slid below the elephant's giant legs.

Cyborg fired his cannon at Rancid, but he missed and Rancid threw a knife to the wheel, flatting it. Starfire fired at Rancid, but he just avoided the attacks and threw a grenade at her. She got blasted off the air and fell towards the ground only for Danny to catch her.

Robin increased his speed and was soon next to Rancid. He pulled out his Bo Staff and whacked Rancid on the head. The bad guy growled and pulled out another knife. Knife and staff hit one another, trying to hit one another.

After a few near hits from the knife, Robin managed to snag the bag of jewels away from Rancid with his Bo Staff. He flung the bag towards Terra, who managed to catch it.

"Got it!" she cheered.

"Give that back!" Rancid shouted before he ducked as Robin tried to whack him in the head. "You're asking for it punk!"

Rancid angrily threw his knife at Robin, hitting the cycle. Robin's eyes widened as the bike started moving uncontrollable. Rancid laughed as he sped away.

"Oh no you don't!" Robin shouted as he threw a disk grenade at Rancid, hitting the back wheel. Rancid screamed as he swerved into an alleyway and slammed into a dumpster.

Robin cheered before he looked in front of him and saw that he was going to a construction site.

"ROBIN!"

Titan's Tower…

"…I can't believe that after going through a construction site on a broken, out of control motorcycle, you only sprained your arm," Danny said in disbelief as he and the others looked at Robin, who had his left arm cast.

"Yeah, well I'm not exactly happy with it," Robin grumbled, glaring at his cast.

"Don't be such a baby," Danny said, waving a hand. "Raven said it'll only take a week to heal, so live with it."

"Besides, you could use the rest," Cyborg added. "You've been working non-stop for a week."

"Yeah dude. You need to chil-lax," Beastboy said.

"So no work for you," Terra finished.

"Thanks guys," Robin said as he stood up. "May-…"

He was suddenly tackled by Cyborg, Beastboy, Terra, and Starfire, avoiding his sprained arm, while Danny and Raven watched, a hint of amusement in their eyes.

"Uh…guys…" Robin said, grunting in pain. "I just wanna get the remote…"

"So…you are not planning to work?" Starfire asked as she the others stood up, looking a bit sheepish.

"No…" Robin said, causing the others to sigh in relief. "Besides, I don't think I'll be much help." He gestured at his casted arm.

"You know that's not true, Rob," Danny said.

Before Robin could reply, he suddenly froze. Everyone looked at him, feeling a bit worried when his face started to twitch. Their worry grow bigger when his head started going big, like he was going to explode.

"Dude!" Beastboy exclaimed as he slowly backed away from Robin, so did everyone else.

"That is so not normal," Terra said with a gross-out look.

Before anyone could do anything, steam blasted through Robin's ear before something bulged out from it. They watched with horror as a goofy-looking head that had a mask. Followed by two gloved hands, a round body wearing Robin's uniform, and lastly, a pair of short, stubby legs.

"I did it!" the small Robin shouted, looking around Titan's Tower with awe.

"What in the name of Azarath!" Raven shouted as they watched little Robin fly around the room. He turned around and looked at the Titans with awe, though strangely, he was looking at Danny like he wanted him gone.

"Uh…who are you?" Beastboy asked, looking at the deformed version of Robin.

"Nice to meet you! My name is Kcid Nosyarg!" Kcid greeted, though he sent a glare to Danny. "I'm Robin's number one fan! He's the best!"

They all looked at Robin, who looked a bit uncomfortable. If there was one thing every hero dislike, it's over infatuated fans, and this guy seems to be the worst of them.

"Not to seem rude…uh…Cid…Kyd…" Danny said, stuttering on the name. "…How about we call you Larry?"

Kcid looked at Danny like he was annoying, much to everyone's confusion.

"He was supposed to suggest that!" Kcid shouted, pointing at Beastboy.

"…Okay…" Beastboy said as they all looked at the deformed kid.

"You ruin everything!" Kcid continued, pointing at Danny. "You're not supposed to be the leader of the Teen Titans. You're not supposed to be Batman's sidekick. You're not even supposed to be here!"

"What's your problem brat?" Danny said, annoyed. "And why are you even here?"

"I'm here to fix things!" Kcid said. "I'm here to make things right, by getting rid of you!"

"Excuse me?" Danny asked before Larry fired at him. Danny made a shield to block it, but the shield turned into hot chocolate. "What the spooks!"

"Robin should have been Batman's sidekick! Robin should have been leader of the Teen Titans! Robin should have been Starfire's love interest! Not you!" Kcid shouted, firing at a now dodging Danny. "Because of you, the entire thing is ruined!"

"Look kid, I don't know how many candy you've been eating, but you need a time out!" Danny shouted as he pulled some Ecto-rangs. "Titans, take him down!"

Everyone nodded and was about to attack when Kcid snapped his fingers and everyone froze. They struggled, but they couldn't break the spell. Not even Raven could break the spell.

"I don't want to hurt you guys," Kcid said as he pointed his finger at Danny. "I just want to fix everything. Once this faker is gone, everything will be what it's supposed to be."

Danny struggled as Kcid's finger started glowing. Before anyone could react, there was a bright flash of light and Danny disappeared.

"Danny!" Starfire shouted in horror as they stared at the place where their leader stood seconds ago.

"Now that he's gone, let's get this show on the row!" Kcid cheered as the others stared at him with either shock or anger. "Oh, and call me Larry!"

Not giving them time to reply, the now renamed Larry snapped his fingers and the Titans, minus Terra, were suddenly in the streets at daytime.

"What's going on?" Robin asked, looking at around.

"Where is Danny!?" Starfire shouted, looking hysteric.

"You don't have to worry about him anymore," Larry's voice rang out from nowhere. "Now let's get the show started!"

Before the Titans could react, there was an explosion and they turned and saw Slade and an army of giant golems and Sladebots. And behind them were…

"Terra!" Robin shouted as they watched Terra wearing the same outfit Danny wore when he was Slade's apprentice.

"Guys! Help!" Terra shouted as she raised her glowing hands against her will. "I can't control myself!"

They all dodged as Terra threw giant boulders at them, crying as she did so.

"Larry! What are you doing?!" Robin demanded angrily.

"Terra wasn't supposed to be a Titan," Larry said. "In the real world, she betrays the Titans and tries to kill you!"

"Why do you make it sound like its good thing?!" Cyborg exclaimed

"Because it's awesome! Not to mention entertaining!" Larry replied like it was obvious.

"Entertainment?!" Robin shouted, angry. "You disintegrated our friend and force another of our friends to fight us!?"

"See! You understand!" Larry exclaimed happily. "Now let's get this show on the row!"

"Prepare to die, Titans!" Slade said as he suddenly grew wider and taller until he looked like a hulking monster.

"What the heck!" Beastboy shouted as they looked at the monstrous Slade.

"This way, it'll be more entertaining!" Larry exclaimed. "Go Robin!"

Before Robin could retort, Monster Slade attacked, swiping at them. They managed avoid getting smashed to bits, leaving a gigantic crater on the ground.

"I'm gonna kill that brat!" Raven said as she dodged the golems.

"Get in line!" Terra shouted as she was forced to make more golems.

"I will not kill the deformed version of Robin," Starfire said as she fired at the golems and Sladebots. "I will obliterate him!"

"Not before we get a piece of him!" Cyborg shouted as he busted some Sladebots, Beastboy slashing some robots, and Robin using one arm to whack the robots' heads off with a Bo staff.

"Awww….don't be like that!" Larry said in a sad voice. "Once we're finish, you'd forget about that faker!"

"The only faker here is you, kid!" Robin shouted. "Now give Danny back and go home to your room!"

"…I know you don't mean that, right?" Larry said, and everything suddenly went dark; downtown became more demented, the robots and golems became bigger, and Slade became uglier, half his mask breaking, revealing hideous green skin, sharp fangs, and soulless eyes.

"The real faker here is the halfa," Larry said, his voice devoid of emotion. "He's not even supposed to be in this universe. He doesn't supposed to exist in this plane of realty! He's a faker! Him! Not me! I'm your biggest fan!"

"We don't care if he's not from this world!" Robin shouted and the Titans nodded their heads. "He's our friend, and we're not going to sit here and play along for your stupid entertainment!"

There was silence, then there was a snap. The Titans looked as the skies suddenly parted by gloved hands. Larry's face appeared, but instead of the happy expression, there was an angry, crazy smile on his face that would make the Joker jealous.

"I see…then I was wrong…" Larry said quietly, causing the others to sigh in relief.

"THIS ENTIRE WORLD IS FAKE!" Larry shouted angrily as he fired at Titan's Tower, destroying. "I'LL FIND THE REAL ROBIN AND GO PLAY WITH HIM! AFTER I GET RID OFF YOU FAKERS AND THIS FAKE WORLD!"

The Titans watched in horror as Larry grabbed their tower and crumbled it. The monsters then started destroying the city, terrorizing the citizens. Even the sky seems to be breaking.

"We have to stop him!" Robin shouted to the others. "Titans, go!"

Everyone nodded and charged at the army and crazy fanboy, using everything they got. Starfire charged a giant Starbolt, Raven fired a giant raven made of magic, Cyborg fired two sonic cannons and a dozen shoulder missiles, Beastboy turned into a T-Rex and charged, Terra used her powers to lift the entire street they were on and used it to throw at Larry, and Robin threw all the disk grenades and birdarangs he had in one hand.

Soon, the barrage of attacks, as well as the army that were caught by the onslaught, flew towards Larry. The Titans kept attacking for a full five minutes until they stopped, panting heavily. They looked at the smoke that was covering Larry.

"…Is he…gone…?" Beastboy asked, his tongue out of his mouth.

"Not bad, for a bunch of fakers!" Larry shouted as he swatted the smoke away. He looked a little scratched up, but with a snap of his fingers, all the damage disappeared. "I bet the real Teen Titans can do more damage."

"There's no such thing as real or fake, brat," Robin said, panting. "We are the Teen Titans, and that's all we know."

"Blah, blah, blah!" Larry shouted childishly. "Now time to finish this!"

Larry then raised his hands and was about to clap when he suddenly froze. He tried to move his hands, but couldn't.

"What's going on!?" Larry shouted, struggling to move.

"Looks like someone needs a timeout," a voice said behind the Titans. They turned around and saw a guy with black hair and brown eyes wearing green glasses, a white hoodie, blue pants and red shoes. On his hoodie were the letters TWT.

"Who are you!?" Larry shouted angrily.

"You're worst nightmare," the guy said as he snapped his fingers. Suddenly, there was a bright light and then everyone found themselves back in Titan's Tower, before Larry suddenly barged in. Larry was on the ground, gagged and tied up.

"What happened?" Danny asked, rubbing his head.

"DANNY!" Starfire shouted happily as she tackled Danny into a hug, holding onto him, afraid that he would disappear.

"Can't…breathe…" Danny said, his body breaking. It only made things worse when Beastboy, Cyborg, and Terra joined the hug. Robin and Raven just watched them in a mixture of relief and amusement.

"What happened to you?" Robin asked, confused.

"I don't know…I just remembered being inside a box filled with toys about you guys…mostly Robin…" Danny said, shivering uncomfortably.

"Sorry about that," the stranger said with a chuckle. "Couldn't help it."

"What do you mean?" Raven asked, looking at him.

"Secret," he sang teasingly. "Oh…wait…"

The Titans watched as the stranger started typing at the air. Suddenly, Beastboy tripped, pushing Cyborg towards Robin, who fell on Terra and Raven, who pushed Starfire towards Danny, who fell on Larry, squashing him to the ground.

The stranger laughed as he saw a shocked Cyborg and Beastboy looked at a red-faced Robin as he saw his hands on two angry girls' chest, and Starfire kissing a wide eye ghost boy.

"You just got to love these powers," the stranger said with a grin. "Now to punish little Larry here for breaking the rules!"

He grabbed the squashed Larry on the foot and dragged him away. The Titans watched as the stranger pulled out a pencil and drew a door out of thin air. He opened the door, threw Larry in it, and saluted at the Titans before entering the door, which disappeared.

"…What just happened?" Beastboy asked, looking at the shock face of everyone in the room.

"…Let's never talk about this again," Raven said, which everyone agreed to.

Suddenly, they heard a snap and then…

"Thanks guys, Robin said as he stood up. "May-…"

He was suddenly tackled by Cyborg, Beastboy, Terra, and Starfire, avoiding his sprained arm, while Danny and Raven watched, a hint of amusement in their eyes.

Danny suddenly blinked.

"Woah…Déjà vu…" he muttered.

Meanwhile…

"Are you ready?" a deep voice said to a gagged up and tied to a chair Larry, who was struggling against the ropes. His hair was also dyed white and he was wearing a black jumpsuit. His mask was also gone, and his eyes were tapped open. "Then…let the five hour Danny Phantom Marathon begin!"

Larry started crying as TWT and the other fans started watching Danny Phantom in a screen as big as a building. TWT looks directly at you and winks before the entire scene went black.
