Chapter 7: Who Called the GiW?

In a secret facility underground, a giant group of people were standing in front of a giant, white computer. A picture of Danny appeared on a screen.

Target: Danny Phantom.

Location: Jump City, Florida.

Orders: Capture, contain, experiment, eliminate.

"You know your mission," a voice said. "Capture that menace and end his threat!"

"Yes sir!" the group of people shouted.

Jump City…

"Seriously?" Phantom said as he made a shield to block the blasters that were being fired by Sladebots. "Don't you have anything better to do on a Saturday?"

The robots replied by charging at him. Danny pulled out a Bo Staff and charged. Usually, he was with his team, but he decided to fly solo for tonight. He just wanted to glide on the cool night air and enjoy gazing at the stars.

Instead, he got ambushed by a bunch of Sladebots who were waiting for him.

As he bashed three robots on the head, his T-communicator sounded. He took it from his belt as he stabbed a robot on the head.

"Talk to me," he said as he ducked to avoid getting his head blasted off.

"Danny, where are you?" Cyborg asked, looking at him. "There's trouble in both the bank and labs."

"I'm a little busy, Cy," Phantom replied as he tossed his staff up and threw three Ecto-rangs behind him, hitting the robots that were about to ambush him. He then caught the staff and smashed it to another robot's eye.

Titan's Tower…

"You're not the only one," Cyborg said as he was playing Ops Manager. "I sent Beastboy, Starfire and Terra to the bank and Robin and Raven to the lab."

"Three attacks in one night?" Phantom said, a lot of things breaking and crashing on his side. "This isn't a coincidence. Be prepared for anything."

"Don't worry," Cyborg said as he typed at the computer. "I'm on i-." he was cut off when he saw something on the screen. "What the?"

"What's wrong?"

"There's another attack on the docks from the far side of town," Cyborg said as he enlarged the screen. "And it's a ghost."

Downtown…

"I'll handle it," Phantom said as he blasted the last robot to bits. "You just keep focusing on spotting other attacks."

"On it."

Phantom phased through the ceiling and flew towards the docks. Unknown to him, he was being watched.

"The plan is starting," he figure said before he disappeared in the shadows.

Meanwhile, Phantom arrived at the docks and saw a giant ghost lizard dressed in some metal, high-tech armor.

"Never saw that ghost before," Phantom muttered to himself. "Must be a new one."

He saw the ghost lizard roar before smashing the wooden floor of the docks.

"New one or not, it's still going down," he said as he fired at it, knocking it to its side.

"Hold it pal," Danny said as he landed in front of the ghost. "Don't know what you are, but you're in my turf."

The lizard glared at him, which surprised him. Phantom was used to getting glared at, but this one was filled with hate. He has never seen a ghost with such hateful eyes before.

The ghost roared and charged at Phantom, who quickly jumped away. He pulled out a Bo Staff and jumped towards the lizard. He whacked it in the head before jabbing it in the gut, but the lizard just shook it off and swung its tail towards Phantom. Phantom blocked it with his arm, knocking him towards some crates.

"Ow…gonna feel that tomorrow," he muttered. He quickly jumped away as the ghost lizard pounced at him with its sharp claws.

He then fired at the ghost, knocking it out its feet. He then jumped over it, standing over its armor and was about to knock it off with an ecto-powered punch when he saw something that made him stop. The lizard was looking at him with eyes filled with fear.

"What…" he muttered as he saw the ghost lizard whimpering. Suddenly, the armor it was wearing beeped and electrocuted the ghost. Phantom, who didn't jump away, was also shocked. The two ghosts fell unconscious before the GiW agents known as K and O walked towards them.

"Target neutralize and captured," K said as he and O put a net on both Phantom and the Ghost Lizard.

"Good," someone said from their communicator. "Bring him in so we can start the experiment."

The two nodded and grabbed the net and used their jetpacks to fly away, not noticing Phantom's hand weakly grabbing the T-communicator and activating it, sending a distress signal.

One Hour Later…

"Where is Danny?!" Starfire said as she paced around the room franticly.

"Chill, Starfire," Beastboy said, trying to calm the alien. "I'm sure he's alright."

Not long after the Titans stopped the attempted robbery by the Sladebots, they received a distress signal from Danny, who suddenly disappeared from their map. Cyborg was tracing his T-communicator while the others searched for him before returning to the Tower empty handed.

Now, they were waiting for results from Cyborg's searching. It was already an hour since they returned and they were getting anxious.

"Any luck yet?" Robin asked as he peered over Cyborg's shoulders.

"Not yet," Cyborg said with a sigh. "But I'll keep looking."

Starfire looked out the window with a worried look.

"Danny…where are you?"

Meanwhile…

Phantom awoke when water was splashed over his face.

"Wake up, trash," a voice said.

Phantom blinked and rubbed his eyes before he noticed his hands were shackled. He then looked and saw himself inside a cage before he noticed the people in front of the cage.

"The Guys in White?" Phantom said, surprised. "What's the meaning of this?"

"What does is it look like, scum?" K said with a sneer. "You're right where you belong, in a cage."

"You can't do that," Phantom said with a cold look. "Remember that I am under the protection of the Metahuman's Rights Act. You tried this last time when I was in Gotham and almost got disbanded! If anyone finds out about this, you and your goons would be sent to prison."

"Only if they find out, freak," O said with a smirk. "We made sure of that."

Phantom heard some growling and turned to see the ghost lizard standing next to the agents, looking at the men with anger. Then something clicked.

"You're controlling it," Phantom said as he looked at the armor. "What's wrong with you people!?"

"We're doing this to protect the world from scum like you," K sneered.

"All that ghost want is to be left alone! You have no right to do this!"

"You're ghosts, we have every right," O said as he pressed a button, causing the armor to electrocute the ghost.

"Stop it!" Phantom shouted as he rammed his fists into the cage.

"Don't worry, scum," K said with a smirk. "Yours is much worse than his. Let's go! Next stop, GiW HQ!"

Phantom growled at the agents. As they left, Phantom looked at his restraints and snorted.

"They waste money on all of this, yet they buy cheap restraints?" he said as a lock pick pop out from his glove. "What are they, amateurs?"

He began picking the lock.

"Hope the others get here soon," he muttered.

Titan's Tower…

"Found him!" Cyborg exclaimed, getting their attention.

"Where is he located?" Starfire asked, appearing in front of Cyborg, frightening the teen.

"He's signal is in the outskirts of town," Cyborg said as he pointed at the red dot on the map.

"Then let's roll," Robin said. "Titans, go!"

Outskirts of Jump City…

"Got it," Phantom said as the restraints from his wrists. He felt the room move, meaning they were probably in a ship. "Now to get out of this cage."

He checked the lock before snorting again.

"These guys are cheap," he said as he pulled out an Ecto-rang and used it to slice the lock. "Not even an alarm system."

He pushed the gate open and was about to walk away when he noticed the ghost lizard chained from the wall. The lizard looked at him, almost pleadingly.

"Let's get you out of here," Phantom said as he pulled out an Ecto-rang and walked towards it. He slashed at the chains before he checked the armor. "Hmm…for cheapskates, this is one expensive tech…VladCo. No wonder. It's similar to Fenton Tech, so this will be easy."

He pulled out a small blowtorch from his utility belt. He always has something he needed in the belt. Don't judge him. He was trained by a guy who's always prepared.

"Just sit still and let me work," he said as he worked on the armor's security lock. The lizard seemed to understand what he said as it stayed still and waited for Danny to remove the armor.

"A little of this and a little of that," Phantom said as he worked on the armor before it opened. "And there you go."

The lizard looked at the fallen armor before it look to Danny and gave him a lick on the face.

"You're welcome," Danny said with a small laugh. "Now let's get out of here."

Phantom was about to go when the lizard tugged his cape, stopping him. He looked at the lizard in confusion as it pointed to the other way. Curious, he decided to follow the lizard.

Phantom followed the ghost through the metallic hallway, making sure there weren't any traps, cameras or something that could trip an alarm. The lizard stopped in front of a very important door that was ghost proof.

"Hmm…at least they know how to lock doors," Phantom muttered as he pulled out a device and plugged it in a panel close to the door and began typing. "Hack…hack…oh, I'm gonna hack that one. Donation to Jump City's Orphanage and Hospital? How generous of them. Oooh, K's diary. Downloading that to the net. And what is O wearing? Internet!"

The lizard thump his tail on Phantom's head, grunting.

"Okay, okay," Phantom said as he unlocked the door. "Now let's see what's inside."

He and the lizard opened the door and what he saw shocked him: ghost animals both large and small in cages that. They were all wearing a collar that had the same design of the armor the lizard was wearing.

"These idiots have gone to a whole new level of low," Danny muttered angrily. "Let's get them out of here."

The lizard nodded in agreement and the two started breaking the cages open and Phantom was removing the collar.

"Now get out of here!" Phantom shouted as he threw an explosive Ecto-rang on the wall, causing it to blow up. Air started flying through the hole as cages and lab equipment were swept away through the hole.

The ghost animals flew out the hole, roaring in freedom. Phantom was about to join them when a metal claw suddenly grabbed him from behind and shocked him. He screamed and fell on his knees. He looked and saw K and O glaring at him venomously.

"You really outdid yourself, scum," O said as he activated the claw, electrocuting Phantom. "Maybe we should cut off your limbs before bringing you in. It's not like you'll need it."

Before he could do anything, the ghost lizard swatted them aside with its tail, roaring angrily at them. It swatted its claws at them, slashing their white uniform. K pulled out a gun and fired at the lizard, knocking it out.

Phantom tried to move, but found that he couldn't.

"Surprise?" O said as he stood up. "We didn't just electrocute you, we neutralized you. You won't be able to move for an hour. Which is enough time to take of your arms!"

He grabbed a saw next to him and walked towards the paralyzed halfa. As he was about to hack off Danny's arm, a Starbolt hit him on the chest, knocking him away.

"O!" K shouted before a black claw appeared from the wall and grabbed him before throwing him to the floor.

"Danny!" Starfire shouted as she and Raven flew towards the downed Phantom, helping him up. "Are you harmed?"

"I'll live," Phantom said with a wince. "Let's go. And take him with us," he gestured at the knockout ghost lizard.

Raven nodded and used her powers to levitate the lizard. Together, they flew out the hole, where they saw the T-sub in the air. They flew towards it and put Danny on his pod before watching the GiW ship fall towards the sea.

"What took you so long?" Phantom asked with a smirk.

"We couldn't find a good parking space," Beastboy joked, causing them to groan.

Phantom then turned to the ghost lizard, who was weakly looking at him.

"Don't worry," he said with a smile. "We'll get you in a place no one will bother you."

Phantom then realized something important.

"Wait…since when can the T-sub fly?"

Later…

"It's a very good place," Danny commented as he and his team stood next to the lizard at the base of Mt. Fuji. "Lots of space, few people and some peace and quiet. What'd ya say?"

The ghost lizard replied by slobbering the Titans with its tongue before roaring and taking off to the peak.

"There goes one brave lizard," Beastboy commented as they hopped back in the T-sub.

"Let's go home," Danny commented.

Titan's Tower…

"In other news, the government agency known as the Guys in White are now disbanded due to violating the Metahuman's Rights Act, and to bankruptcy. All of the agents who were part of violating the act will be questioned and sent to jail for a number of yeard. In other news, a generous donation has been made to both the Jump City's Orphanage and Hospital…"

"And you did all of these in one night?" Cyborg asked as they watched the news, eating pizza. Robin was checking the security in their Vault.

"Hey, I've been trained by the best," Danny said as he grabbed another slice. "I finally got rid of the Dorks in White, saved a few afterlife, contributed to charity, humiliated K and O, and having a slice of pizza. All in all, a perfect Saturday night."

"Guys!" Robin shouted as he ran in the room, looking panic.

"What's wrong?" Terra asked as they looked at him.

"The Red X suit, it's gone!"

"WHAT?!"

Unknown…

"That was easy," the mysterious figure said as he laid the Red X suit on a table. "Send a few repaired bots and call a bunch of idiots, and you got one free tower."

"So, now what?" another figure said as she walked out from the shadows, revealing Blackfire.

"Now we form our team," the figure said. "Soon, the Teen Tyrants will rise!"

Aaaaaand cut! The GiW finally did it and got kicked in the butt! Yeah! Also, Red X will rise again, this time with a team. Who could this mysterious figure be? And who will become part of this Teen Tyrants? While you wonder, I'll reply to the reviews.
