Like I promised, the new chapter for Phantom Leader II! Thanks for being so patient. In this chapter, I'll be taking an idea from Teen Titans Go! The comics, not the show. Hope you'll like it! The comic is issue 15 of Teen Titans Go!

Chapter 11: Pop Quiz

Phantom and Red Bird were in the training room, running through an obstacle course.

"Watch your left!" Phantom exclaimed as he jumped through some hoops while dodging some poles from the ground.

"Right!" Red Bird exclaimed as he ducked before he jumped as the floor suddenly opened.

It's been a week since Red Bird's rescue, and since the boy was staying with the Titans for a while, Phantom decided to train him, once his injuries healed. He had to admit, Batman really did a great job with Red Bird. He was nimble, quick on his feet and had good reflexes.

Once they were halfway through the obstacle course, holographic images suddenly appeared. Criminals and civilians started running in front of them. Taking out some Birdarangs and Ectorangs, the two boys threw at the criminals while avoiding the civilians.

Red Bird was doing well, until a hologram of Slade appeared in front of him. He froze, staring at the holographic face of Slade. Suddenly, the holograms disappeared as the obstacle course turned off.

"Red Bird, you okay?" Phantom exclaimed as Red Bird took deep breaths. "I'm sorry about that!"

"I'm…I'm fine," Red Bird said, standing up shakenly. "Just…surprised."

"Jason…If you want to talk about it, I'm all ears," Phantom said, placing a hand on Red Bird's shoulder.

"…Thanks…" Red Bird said as the two left the room. "So…what do you do guys around here?"

"Eh, you know," Phantom said with a shrug. He knew Red Bird was trying to change the subject, but he does that all the time, so he went with it. "Stop bad guys, protect the city and just hang out."

"Hang out?" Red Bird asked. When they entered the Ops Center, he saw Beastboy, Cyborg and Robin playing videogames with Starfire and Terra cheering them on. Raven was just reading her book quietly. "Wow…you guys have a lot of free time."

"That's the hero life," Phantom said as he went to the fridge and got two bottles of water, one he passed to Red Bird. "One minute you can't catch a break, the next you have too much free time."

Suddenly, the videogame they were playing froze and the screen lost connection.

"Hey! What's the deal!" Beastboy exclaimed as everyone looked at the screen.

An image appeared before there was laughter. Once the image became clear, the Titans, and Red Bird, saw a guy about their age with ginger hair and a dark green domino mask.

"Well, well, well," the guy said with a smirk. "We meet again, Phantom."

"…Uh…you know this guy?" Red Bird asked, looking at a confused Phantom.

"No, I've never met him before," Phantom replied as he scratched his head.

"Well…we've never met before…" the guy stammered, looking a bit embarrassed. "But you'll get to know me very soon! And you will come to know me as the Moriarty to your Sherlock Holmes, the Joker to your Batman, the Vader to your Skywalker, the Kong to your Mario, the-!"

"Okay, we get it!" Phantom said in a hurried tone, sensing that this could go for long. "Who the heck are you?"

"You can call me, Kwiz Kid!" the guy exclaimed as a neon sign that said KWIZ KID and fireworks on the background. He was dressed in a black and green body suit with a yellow question mark on his chest. "I will confound you with my clues! Perplex you with my puzzles! Razzle you with my riddles! I'll-!"

"Shock us with your spelling?" Raven interrupted with a deadpanned tone.

"I'm here to put you to the test, Phantom!" Kwiz Kid exclaimed as he somehow managed to go through the screen and yell at Phantom. "And I expect you to fail miserably! Your so called 'detective skills' are no match against my superior intellect! You may be faster than me or be better at dodgeball, but I can outsmart you any day!"

"And if I refuse to take your pop quiz?" Phantom said as he crossed his arms.

"Then this little Kitten is gonna take a quick dip," Kwiz Kid said as he snapped his fingers. Behind him, a familiar blond girl was restrained and tied upside-down, hanging on a pool of acid.

"Help me, Phantom!" Kitten exclaimed. "Save me, Danny-poo!"

"Who's that?" Red Bird asked as Phantom face palmed.

"Phantom's ex," Robin said. There was a smack, and Robin was holding a steaming lump on his head as Phantom blew the steam off his fist.

"Well, it's only Kitten," Beastboy said with a shrug. "It's not a big loss."

"I doubt that it is 'only Kitten'…" Starfire said as she gave a cold look to Kitten. "Her father, the Killer Moth, must be close by…"

"Suffering spooks," Phantom said with a sigh. "What do I have to do, Kwiz Kid?"

Kwiz Kid smirked before he sat down on his comfy throne, clasping his hands together. "To save the cat you have to find her first, so…To locate your first clue, this is what you must do: breath underwater where shark swims around you."

"Phantom can't breathe underwater," Beastboy said with a shrug. "Oh well. A for effort. Guess the bad guys win this time."

"As much as I dislike the one who calls you 'poo' and wish to see her fed to a Drokobor, we cannot allow her to be harmed by this quizzical villain,"

"Starfire's right," Terra said. "What do you think, Phantom?"

Phantom mused about it before he turned to his team. "I think…we should go to Ocean World."

A few minutes later, everyone ran through the entrance of Ocean World, an ocean-themed park that was also a hot tourist's spot in Jump City.

"This way!" Phantom exclaimed as he spotted the underwater tube.

Kwiz Kid's Secret Lair…

"Wow…that was fast," Kwiz Kid said, looking through his computer screen. He expected the Halfa to go to the ocean and search like an idiot for hours.

"I told you he'd figure it out!" Kitten exclaimed as she looked down, or up in her case, at Kwiz Kid. "He's Danny Phantom! He's the smartest, coolest and hottest superhero ever!"

"How can anyone be the 'hottest' and 'coolest' at the same time?" Kwiz Kid asked with a confused expression.

"Of course you wouldn't know about that, would you?" Kitten said as she stuck her tongue at him.

Back to the Titans…

Phantom led the Titans and Red Bird through the shark tunnel, where a lot of sharks were swimming around them.

"Wow," Red Bird said as he looked around the place. "I can't believe you solved it so fast."

"Trained by the World's Greatest Detective, remember?" Phantom said with a smirk as he looked around the area. "Now where's that clue?"

"As much as I'd like to pretend not to have seen the clue, and similarly pretend that Kitten does not exist," Starfire said as she pointed at a plastic bag with Kwiz Kid symbol on it.

"I'll get it!" Beastboy exclaimed before running off. A few minutes later, a green shark went and bit the bag. Meanwhile, Phantom was looking at the sharks, rubbing his chin.

"Maybe this place can give us a clue on who our new enemy is," he mused as he looked at the sharks.

"He seems just like a rip-off of Riddler," Red Bird said with a shrug. "I mean, the only thing he's missing is the staff."

"Oh look!" Starfire exclaimed, holding a pamphlet. "The 'Spectacular Seal Show' begins in a few minutes!"

Raven and Terra gave Starfire a deadpanned look, already knowing what she was trying to do. A wet Beastboy walked towards Phantom and gave him the bag, which he opened and took out a piece of paper.

"What does it say?" Beastboy asked as he shook the water off his head.

"You must guess the score before the hockey game starts, or you'll never get to the third and fourth parts," Phantom read with a raised eyebrow.

"The hockey game?" Robin said as he crossed his arms. "Isn't the Jump City Sharks facing off with the Gotham City Knights?"

"Let's go!" Phantom exclaimed as he and his team ran off.

"No running, please!" an employer exclaimed to the Titans.

Jump City Arena…

Phantom and everybody started running to the stadium.

"They're about to drop the puck, but you're supposed to guess before that happens!" Cyborg exclaimed.

"No matter how good you are, you can't predict the future," Terra said.

"Should we perhaps go to Clockwork for more time?" Starfire suggested.

"I don't need more time or predict the future," Phantom replied calmly as they rushed towards the entrance. "Come on! We need to hurry!"

Raven turned and stopped when she saw Beastboy and Red Bird buying foam fingers. The two turned and looked sheepish at her deadpanned stare.

"What?" Beastboy said as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Big foam finger. Who could resist?"

"Would you want one too, little girl?" the vendor said with a smile.

Inside the stadium, a lot of people were sitting and waiting for the hockey match to start. The Titans ran in and Phantom looked at the score before the time started.

"Before the game starts, the score is always zero-zero," Phantom said as he looked around and saw a hockey player with 00 on his back. He walked towards the man. "Excuse me, you wouldn't happen to-."

"Danny Phantom? Wow, it is you!" the hockey guy said with a grin that was missing a few teeth. "There was a guy who left a message for you!"

He pointed at the ice. Phantom and his friends walked in the rink and saw their next clue: Too few visit here and that's a pity…Because one can say it is the tallest building in the city!

"Come on, Titans," Phantom said. "We're getting close!"

"Wait!"the hockey exclaimed, skating towards Phantom. "Would you mind signing my stick? I wanna show it to my kids."

"Sure," Phantom said as he took the stick. "Robin, you got a pen I can borrow?"

Kwiz Kid's Lair…

"Aww...look how cute my Danny-poo looks from this angle!" Kitten cooed as she watched Phantom from the screen. She was also free.

"Danny-poo shmanny-poo!" Kwiz Kid grumbled as he pouted like an immature kid. "So he's got the cool exotic hair thing going on, and he may be buff and stuff…but I bet I can't beat me at 'Trivia Pursuit 3.0'!"

"But you're so good at the jealousy thing," Kitten said as she strokes his head. "But soooo bad at the stumping the superhero thing."

"He got lucky!" Kwiz Kid exclaimed with a snort. "Those first two clues were easy!"

"Which is it?" Kitten said as she put her hands on her hips. "Phantom's luck or the riddles were easy?"

"Even if he figures out my third brain teaser, I doubt he'll find the fourth and final clue revealing our little love nest," Kwiz Kid said before he blurred and returned, holding two wine glass and some grape juice, giving a flirty smile to Kitten. "Shall I pour the grape juice and light the candles now, my Pussy Cat?"

"Don't ever call me that!" Kitten exclaimed with a cringe.

Back with the Titans…

Everyone were in the Specter Speeder, since the T-car was too small. Beastboy poked his head out the window as they flew past Titan's Tower.

"Where you going, Cy?" Beastboy asked as he moved back in the vehicle. "The Tower is that way."

"I don't think Kwiz Kid meant the Tower as the tallest in the city," Robin said.

"Are we even sure the Kwiz Kid meant this city?" Starfire suggested with a slight hope in her eyes. "Perhaps we should expect the neighboring cities, such as the ever-exciting Tokyo…or Paris France!"

"You're not fooling anybody," Raven said to Starfire, who pouted.

"So where are we going, Phantom?" Cyborg asked as he steered the vehicle. "To the Wayne-tech building? That Lexcorp high rise? Or that new hotel on Haney Street?"

"How about…the library," Phantom said with a smirk.

A minute later, they were in the library, filled with books and students.

"This is the tallest building in the city!?" Beastboy exclaimed as he looked at the books.

"Shhh!" the librarian exclaimed, causing Beastboy to close his mouth.

"Hey, why the library?" Red Bird whispered, looking at Phantom.

"It's got the most stories," Phantom explained to Red Bird, who understood it, and to Beastboy.

"Oh! I get it!" the changeling exclaimed, causing Terra and Robin to shush him. He then leaned over to Raven. "See, Raven? He meant 'stories' as in floors or levels of a building!"

"Your brilliance is blinding," Raven said in a sarcastic tone.

"Now to look for Kwiz Kid's fourth clue," Phantom whispered as he floated towards the shelves.

"Aw man, I hope he didn't put it in one of these books!" Cyborg exclaimed quietly, looking at the piles and piles of books with dread.

"There are thousands of books to look through!" Starfire exclaimed quietly in a happy tone. "We may never find it!"

"Don't worry," Phantom said as he looked through the sections. "The clue's in one of these books, but I think I can narrow it down. You noticed how our new friend is fond of sharks?"

"Yeah…" Red Bird said. "Like the sharks in Ocean World, then the shark hockey team," Red Bird said as they stopped at the 'Marine Biology' section. "So here?"

Phantom nodded as they stopped in the middle of the shelves.

"Guess we should start scouring the pages," Terra said, looking at the shelf full of large books.

"It's still gonna take a long time to find the clue in all these books," Robin commented before he noticed Phantom looking at the shelves. "You see something?"

"The dust is thick on these shelves," he said as he fingered the dust, leaving a large mark. He didn't noticed how Starfire grabbed a duster from somewhere and started dusting the shelves as fast as she can. "But wait, someone recently pulled out a book!"

He took out the book and started flipping through the pages.

"And if I'm right, we'll find our clue somewhere in the fourth chapter," he said as he stopped at the chapter.

"The fourth part," Red Bird said with eyes widening. "Wow, that's impressive, Phantom."

"Yes…quite impressive," Starfire said dejectedly. Sometimes, she wished he wasn't so smart.

"Check this out!" Phantom exclaimed, showing an island shape like a shark called Shark Island.

"Shhh!" Beastboy shushed.

Shark Island…

"No way! No way! No way!" Kwiz Kid exclaimed frantically as he saw the Specter Speeder flying towards his secret hideout. "We have to hurry and get out of here!"

"Let me guess," Kitten said as she put on her makeup, dressed in a pink, strapless dress. "Phantom figured out where we are?"

"What are you doing? Did you change your mind about is?" Kwiz Kid said with an excited smile before he frowned. "Wait…wasn't the deal to stump out Phantom and win a date with you?"

"It was," Kitten said as she put in pink high-heels. "But kitty's not getting ready for you."

Kwiz Kid gasped as he held his chest, a heart breaking sound appearing as a broken heart appeared behind him.

"Huh? What?" he exclaimed as he followed Kitten to a table we're it was set as dinner for two. "Don't tell me you have another date?"

"Of course I do," Kitten said as she picked up a rose from the flowers on the table. "Did you really think you had a chance against Phantom? Did you really think you had a chance against me?"

"So…you were toying with me?" Kwiz Kid exclaimed in shock. "You don't think that 'smart is cute'?"

"But you're not that smart," Kitten said as she dropped the rose and walked away from Kwiz Kid, towards the exit. "I was just using you! You know what they say, catch flies with honey…catch Phantom with riddles!"

She walked out the cave, arms wide in welcome, smiling a bit. "Come to mama, Danny-poo!"

Suddenly, her eyes widened at the scene in front of her. Instead of seeing Phantom running towards her with opened arms, she saw the Titans fighting a horde of mutant moths, which were led by her father. Phantom and Starfire were blasting the moths, Raven was using her magic to hit the moths with other moths, Beastboy turned into an eagle and scratch the moths, Robin and Red Bird were throwing projectiles at the moths, Terra was throwing boulders at the moths and Cyborg was using his sonic cannon.

"Daddy!?" Kitten exclaimed in shock as the fight happened in front of her.

"Not now, Kitten!" Killer Moth exclaimed, looking at his daughter. "Can't you see Daddy's busy rescuing you?"

"But I don't need rescuing!" she exclaimed as she waved her arms. "I! Don't! Need! Rescuing!"

"What?" Killer Moth exclaimed as he and his moths paused.

"Excuse me?" Phantom exclaimed, looking at Kitten with raised eyebrows.

"Hmph," Starfire said as she crossed her arms, not really looking so surprised. "What is that expression again? When the moth is away, the kitten will play?"

"I think that's the wrong expression," Beastboy commented.

"You better explain what's going on, young lady!" Killer Moth said in a scolding tone, looking at Kitten, who was looking at the ground.

"Well…you see…" Kitten looked around the place and saw Kwiz Kid coming out from the cave. "It's his fault! He wouldn't leave me alone until I agreed to go out with him! And I only agreed to go out with him if he could stump Phantom! I knew he couldn't so I used him to lure Phantom to me!"

"You backstabbing two-timer!" Kwiz Kid said with a smirk. "Well, at least part of my plan worked out."

"And what plan would that be, Loser?" Kitten said.

"The part where I called your dad to distract the Titans while I escape!" Kwiz Kid exclaimed as he started fading, revealing to be a hologram. Kitten jumped back in shock. "I hope to never see you again, Kitten! But as for Phantom, I hope to see you soon!"

Everyone watched as Kwiz Kid disappeared.

"Where do you think he went?" Red Bird asked, looking at Phantom.

"That I can't answer," Phantom said before turned to Kitten, who was giving him the lovey-dovey look. "But maybe Kitten can answer this; did you really think I'd go out with you, even after the first time we met!?"

"I thought my beauty and grace would make you forget all that," Kitten said with a wink as Starfire glared at her.

"Maybe you should have brought some with you," Robin said as he crossed his arms.

"What happened to that boyfriend of yours?" Terra asked as she remembered the spider-headed villain.

"Yeah, that spider-headed guy," Beastboy said as he transformed his head into a green spider, complete with legs.

"FANG AND I ARE ON A BREAK!" Kitten exclaimed angrily, causing Terra's hair to be swept in the air as Beastboy flew. "SO BACK OFF AND DON'T EVER MENTION HIM AGAIN!"

"Enough of this!" Killer Moth exclaimed as he grabbed Kitten's arm and dragged her away. "You're coming home with me right now missy, and don't leave your room for at least a month!"

"But Daaaadddy!" Kitten exclaimed as they flew away, followed by the mutant moths.

"Uh…should we really let them go like that?" Red Bird asked, scratching his head as he watched the bad guys fly away.

"Can you think of a better punishment?" Cyborg said with a grin.

"Now that's a riddle I'd want to answer," Phantom said with a grin before walking back to the Specter Speeder. "Let's head home, Titans."

Red Bird stared at Phantom with slight awe at how he managed to answer all those riddles so quickly. Batman could do it too, but Phantom was a few years older than him. Maybe he could learn something from Phantom that Batman couldn't taught.

Meanwhile, Kwiz Kid smirked in a dark room, the spotlight focused on him.

"So, were you impressed by my performance?" he asked, looking at the figures in front of him. One was Blackfire, the other was Atlas, a yellow and red hulking robot, and the third figure was hidden in the shadows, showing his domino mask.

"Not bad," the guy in the shadow spoke. "You got potential."

"Does that mean I'm in?" Kwiz Kid asked with a smirk.

"Why not?" the figure walked out of the shadow, wearing the Red X suit. "Welcome, to the Teen Tyrants."

Bet you guys weren't expecting that! The mystery guy has taken the Red X mantle and Kwiz Kid joined the Teen Tyrants. Who is the new Red X? When will the Teen Tyrants rise? Will I ever finish my sandwich! So many questions! Which reminds me, review time!
