I'm back, and I know it's unusual for me to update a story so soon, but since Phantom Leader II is almost over, I decided to focus on it. That, and it's like a month until December. Might as well finish a story before the year is over. Man, time sure flies. Well, enjoy the chapter!

Chapter 14: The Beast Within

It was nighttime at Jump City, and as usual, trouble was happening. This time, it was happening inside an animal testing lab near the border of the city. Inside, the Teen Titans were fighting a new, hotshot villain named Adonis, a guy with a giant, red robotic suit that had the golden letter A on its chest. They were in a room full of cages and experimental formulas used for enhancing animal characteristics.

"Titans, take this clown down!" Phantom shouted as he threw two disc grenades at Adonis, only for the grenades to be grabbed by Adonis' robotic hand and crushed the projectiles, holding the explosion in.

"It's gonna take more than that to beat me," Adonis said in an arrogant tone.

"Then how about this?" Cyborg exclaimed as he fired his sonic cannon at Adonis. Adonis stumbled a bit, but he stood his ground and rushed towards Cyborg and punched him towards Phantom.

"Oh yeah, you Titans are no match against Adonis!" Adonis said as he flexed his robotic arms.

"Match this!" Terra exclaimed as she made a giant wall from the ground and pushed it towards Adonis, who just smirked and charged. He was able to smash through the wall, and the shockwave sent Terra off her feet.

Three birdarangs bounced off his back, causing him to turn and saw Robin jumping towards him, a staff on his hands. He managed to hit Adonis on the head, but the helmet protected him. With a smirk, he swatted Robin aside, sending him to the ground.

Green Starblasts and cages covered in black energy bombarded Adonis, causing him to stumble a bit. He looked and saw Starfire and Raven attacking him. With a roar, he charged through their attacks and swatted the two girls aside.

"Nice try, ladies, but you can't stop the Adonis!" Adonis exclaimed before he was blindside by a green rhino.

He managed to stand his ground before they hit the canisters full of chemicals, coating the two. With a grunt, Adonis suplexed the rhino three times. The rhino morphed back into Beastboy, groaning painfully. Adonis suddenly picked him up and threw him towards the cages. Beastboy hit the cages and was surrounded by cages.

"What's the matter, little boy? Aren't you man enough to face Adonis?" Adonis said in a mocking tone before he laughed. Beastboy growled angrily, feeling so angry for some reason.

"I'm not a man," Beastboy said, a growl in his voice. "I'm an ANIMAL!"

With a roar, he turned into a gorilla and muscled his way through the cages. He charged towards Adonis, causing him to smirk. He and the gorilla butted heads as they pushed at each other. They struggled for a few seconds before Adonis felt himself being pushed back.

With an angry roar, Beastboy lifted Adonis up and started slamming him to the ground like a ragdoll. He threw Adonis to the ground before he jumped up and turned into a bull. He slammed his heavy hooves to Adonis, cracking his robotic armor. He just kept stomping until Adonis' armor was a wreck.

But he wasn't done.

He turned into a tiger, bit on Adonis' robotic arm and threw him to the wall before he morphed into a rhino and charged, hitting Adonis and sending him to the next room. The armor was soon turned into a wreck, revealing Adonis' skinny body. The villain groaned on the ground, covered in green goo.

Beastboy stared down on Adonis coldly before walking away, towards the hole. When he got there, the other Titans were standing, looking at him with shock.

"Um…awesome job, BB," Cyborg said as Beastboy walked passed him.

"You sure showed him…" Robin said.

"You need a bath," Raven added as Beastboy kept walking until a hand on the shoulder stopped him. He looked and saw that it was Phantom.

"You alright Beastboy?" he asked in a concerned tone.

"I'm fine," Beastboy said as he continued walking. "I'm just done getting pushed around."

The Titans looked at the green changeling with worried expressions, never seeing him like this before. They hoped their green friend would turn back to normal.

The Next Day…

Beastboy was slowly waking up in his room and stretched his arms. When he opened his eyes, he was surprised to see that he was on the floor.

"Why am I on the ground?" he asked as he stood up before he stretched. "Man, I feel good! I should start sleeping on the floor."

He then lifted his face when he smelled something delicious. Thinking about breakfast, he threw his blanket to his bed and rushed out his room, not seeing the claw marks on his bed.

In the kitchen, Phantom was cooking his breakfast. He was cooking about five eggs sunny-side up and flipped them over a plate behind him. He then heard the oven beeped. He then opened it, revealing a perfectly baked ham in the over.

He placed it near the eggs and pulled out his knife and fork. He was about to dig in before he noticed someone in front of him. Beastboy was sitting in front of him looking at his breakfast hungrily. It two bites, his breakfast was gone, even the bone of the ham.

"Beastboy?" Phantom said with shocked. Beastboy eating eggs and ham? Was he in an alternative dimension?

"Yeah?" Beastboy asked as he picked his teeth with a toothpick from the table.

"Did you just eat meat?" Phantom asked as he put his fork and knife down. "But you're a vegetarian."

"Meh, I'm over it," Beastboy said with a shrug before walking away. "You should probably eat some breakfast. It's already ten."

"…That was my breakfast," Phantom said as he watched the green changeling's retreating form with narrowed eyes.

"I should keep a closer eye on him," Phantom thought before looking at the empty plate and tray in front of him. It took him all morning to cook the ham. "I'll get some cereal."

Beastboy was walking through the Tower, feeling so empowered. After the fight with Adonis, he feels like a different guy. He saw that he was in front of the training room. Looking at his skinny arms, he decided to do some weights.

He walked towards the training equipment and piled up some weights. He grabbed the bars and started lifting it. The more he lifted the weights, the more he feels powerful. Sweat poured from his face as his arms trembled a bit. With a growl, he turned into a gorilla and lifted the weights with ease.

He felt so much alive as an animal, like his instincts told him to be more animal and less boy.

Later…

Phantom was doing some last-minute patrol in the city. As he flew over the city, his mind has been occupied by Beastboy. There was just a gut feeling that something was wrong. The changeling has been acting strange all day. After he ate meat, all he did was work out in the gym, something he never did unless it was team training.

Phantom was above the city park when he heard a howl. It didn't sound natural. With narrowed eyes, he flew towards the forest and landed between the trees. The trees were all broken, like something tore through them.

He walked closer and saw the claw marks on the trees. It wasn't like any animal he recognized. The gashes were too deep and wide apart. I touched the marks, comparing it to his own hands. It was like a normal guy with sharp nails made this.

"What did this," he muttered as he looked around the area and saw something on the ground. He used his hands to light the place and saw that it was a pawprint. It was the size of a human's foot, but it looked canine. If he would compare it, it would be a werewolf's print.

He looked at the print with narrowed eyes, and for some reason felt like all of these were connected with Beastboy.

One Week Later…

A week has passed and the Titans noticed a change in Beastboy. First, they saw him eat two triple meat cheeseburgers with gusto. Then he wasn't cracking jokes or playing videogames, he was in the gym lifting weights. And he was a little short tempered. He would snap and rudely walk away, much to the Titans' confusion.

Cyborg tried to get Beastboy to hang out with him, doing their usual thing like playing pranks or videogames, but he changeling refused. But after a week, Cyborg convinced him to play the new videogame that just got release.

The two were in the living room, playing the videogame. Beastboy was sweating as he pressed the buttons, glaring at the screen. He watched his character getting beaten up by Cyborg, and it made him angry.

"And boom!" Cyborg exclaimed as he won the fight. "Oh yeah! I'm the man!"

There was a loud crashing sound that surprised him. He looked and saw the game controller smashed on the ground. Beastboy was breathing deeply, trying to calm himself.

"This game is stupid!" he exclaimed as he swung his arm towards Cyborg, scratching on his chest.

"Easy there, BB," Cyborg said as he tried to calm him down. "It's just a game."

Beastboy just growled before stomping away, leaving a concerned Cyborg alone.

Beastboy made his way in the gym and started punching the sandbag. He growled as he thought about Cyborg bragging and dancing in front of him as he lost the game. He growled angrily before he started punching harder. When the sandbag came flying back to him, he turned into a grizzly bear and thrust his claws in it, letting the sand flow out the hole.

Meanwhile, Phantom was in his lab, working on his project. As he connected the wires together, he was thinking about what he saw in the woods. He tried searching for similar prints from every source he could think of, but nothing matched.

He did find something interesting from the claw marks. It had some human DNA on it, but it looked mutated.

He was hoping it wasn't a werewolf. He didn't want a possible infection happening.

He suddenly heard the doors opened, causing him to look and saw Cyborg walking in, with a scratch on his chest.

"Cy? What happened," Phantom asked as he removed his goggles and looked as Cyborg started repairing the scratch.

"It's BB," he said as he buffered the scratch. "I don't know what his problem is. All we did was play a videogame, but then he snapped."

"He is acting weird," Phantom said as he rubbed his chin. "Ever since he fought Adonis…"

He narrowed his eyes as he remembered Beastboy covered in green goo. But when they checked him, there was nothing wrong.

"I need to go somewhere," Phantom said as he removed his goggles and lab coat. "You're in charge Cyborg."

Cyborg blinked and watched as Phantom exited the lab. He wondered what that was about before shrugging. He then turned and saw Phantom's project and his eyes widened.

"Woah…"

Meanwhile, Beastboy was walking through the halls, a glare on his face. Raven was walking in front of him and accidentally bump his shoulders.

"Sorry," she said as she looked at Beastboy, who just glared at her.

"You should be," he said, causing Raven to frown.

"Okay, I'm not sorry, and you're being rude," she said, causing Beastboy to growl and walked towards her until he was near her face.

"I'm rude! Look who's talking!" he exclaimed with a snarl. Without warning, he transformed a grizzly and growled at Raven, who just looked at him.

Before something could happen, a shout caught their attention. Raven looked and saw Robin, Starfire and Terra running towards them.

"Beastboy, enough!" Robin shouted, pulling out his Bo Staff and pointing it at Beastboy. "You've been acting like a jerk all week, and we're getting sick of it!"

"I am not unwell, but I your behavior is very unsettling," Starfire said as Terra nodded.

Beastboy growled at them angrily before walking away, still as a grizzly. They watched him walk to his room before turning to Raven.

"You okay, Rae?" Terra asked in a worried tone.

"Yeah, just fine," Raven replied, looking to where Beastboy was going. Just now, she felt something in Beastboy. Something wild and primal. Something dangerous.

In his room, Beastboy was slashing everything his claws could reach. The walls, ceiling, floor, dresser, bed, everything was slashed with his bear claws.

"It's all her fault!" Beastboy thought angrily as he breathed deeply. "She always makes fun of me! Thinks I'm stupid! Acting like she knows everything! She…She…Arrrgh!"

He growled again, but this time it sounded like he was in pain. The grizzly suddenly knelt on the floor as his body started morphing. The body became slimmer, the limbs limber and more muscled, the nuzzle became shorter, claws and teeth became sharper, the fur became shorter, except for the mane, reaching to his lower back.

"What's…happening…to me!?" he thought as he held his head, his eyes wide with fear. Suddenly, the pupils slowly disappeared, until it became white. With a growl, Beastboy howled.

Meanwhile, Phantom was in the lab where they fought Adonis, his hand lighted with Ghost energy. After the Titans discovered what they were making, the lab was shut down for abuse against animals. Phantom walked through the dark halls before he spotted the room where Beastboy and Adonis fought.

He walked in the room and felt like he kicked something. He looked down and saw bones. He lifted his hand up and added more power, lighting the entire room. Sure enough the place was filled with bones and animal carcasses. It was like a monster made this place its home.

Phantom then noticed the walls. There were slash marks on it, the same in the forest.

Phantom was so focused on the walls that he didn't see the hulking figure behind him. He suddenly heard heavy breathing, causing him to turn and gasp as sharp claws flew towards him.

Later…

In Titan's Tower, Raven was walking towards Beastboy's room. She was worried about him since she felt something…primitive inside him.

When she got to his room, she noticed that the door was open. With narrowed eyes, she looked inside the room and saw what a wreck it was. She walked in the room cautiously before noticing the window opened.

Worried, she contacted the other Titans and everyone, except Phantom, were in Beastboy's room.

"What happened here?" Terra asked as she touched the scratches on the wall.

"I don't know, but it doesn't look good," Robin said as he looked at the open window. "Beastboy is out there, and he's probably out of control."

"What do we do?" Starfire asked in a worried tone.

"We find him," Cyborg said in a serious tone. "And we make sure he doesn't hurt anyone or himself."

They nodded and everyone rushed out the tower. As they made their way to Jump City, Cyborg was trying to contact Phantom, but it was no good. He wasn't answering his T-Comm.

They made it into the city and they split up to find him. Raven was flying in the air, trying to feel where Beastboy might be. Her eyes widened when she sensed someone. It wasn't Beastboy, but he was hurt. She quickly flew towards him. She sensed him below, in the alley.

Raven quickly flew down and walked in. She gasped when she saw Phantom leaning on the wall, his body littered with scratches, his outfit in tatters and green blood dripping from his wounds.

"Ra…Ra…ven…" he said before falling to the ground.

"Phantom!" she exclaimed as she rushed to his side. She pulled out her T-Comm and contacted the others. "Guys! I found Phantom, he's hurt!"

She stopped when she saw shadow above them. She looked up and gasped when the figure jumped towards them.

"Raven?" Robin said through the communicator. "Raven!?"

Minutes later, the Titans arrived at the place where Raven contacted them. They were worried when they heard that Phantom was hurt, but now Raven is gone and they still hadn't found Beastboy.

"Any sign of them?" Cyborg asked as they looked at the place.

"I found her T-Comm," Terra said as she picked up the communicator.

"I have found some green liquid," Starfire said as she looked at the green puddle on the ground.

Cyborg walked towards it and his finger turned into a scanner. He scanned the liquid and there was a beep. He looked at his arm and saw that it was ectoplasm, Phantom's ectoplasm.

"This is Phantom's," he said, causing the others to gasp. "And it's leading a trail."

He followed his scanner and saw that it pointed to the sewers. They jumped up in the sewers and looked around. The ectoplasm was leading on the path, and they noticed slash marks on the wall.

"I don't like this…" Terra said, feeling afraid. She felt like being in those first POV horror games. Her heart was beating out of her chest. And she feels that she wasn't the only one.

"Let's go," Cyborg said, readying his sonic cannon. They followed his lead and readied their weapons and powers. They walked through the dark sewer, being cautious and looking at every corner.

"I feel gooses bumping on me," Starfire said in a scared tone.

"I'm too scared to correct you," Terra said.

They jumped when they heard something and they immediately started firing and throwing weapons and rocks. Once they calmed down, the Titans looked and saw that it was a small rat, shaking as he was surrounded by holes, pointy rocks, scorch marks and birdarangs.

"…Sorry," Starfire said to the rat before it scampered away quickly.

They sighed before turning back to the direction where they were walking. Cyborg's eye widened when he saw Phantom and Raven lying on the ground.

"Found them!" he shouted before rushing towards them with the others behind him.

"Danny! Friend Raven!" Starfire exclaimed in worried as she kneeled between next to Phantom and looking to see if he was alright. "He is breathing!"

"We should get them to the infirmary," Cyborg said and was about to carry Phantom when something suddenly landed in front of them, causing Starfire and Terra to scream and Robin and Cyborg to gasp. It was a giant, lithe-looking, green beast.

"Green?" Robin said before his eyes widened. "Beastboy!?"

The Beast roared before it charged at them. The Titans jumped to avoid him. Terra was about to use her powers to flatten him before remembering that it was Beast. Instead, she made a cage and trapped him. The Beast roared angrily before swiping at the cage, easily destroying it. He charged at Terra, who screamed, only to be tackled by Starfire.

"I do not wish to harm you, friend Beastboy!" she exclaimed as she tried to use force to submit the Beast, but he was stronger. He grabbed her and threw her to the wall. He was about to swipe at her before he roared and fell to the ground.

Behind him were Robin and Cyborg. They just did the sonic boom, seeing that it was the only way to stop the Beast.

Slowly, the Beast shrank and turned back to a groaning Beastboy. The changeling looked up, rubbing his head. He looked up and saw the Titans looked at him wearily.

"Guys?" he said as he tried to stand up, causing the others to took defensive stances. "What's going…on…"

He stopped when he saw Phantom and Raven on the ground, as well as Robin's angry glare.

Titan's Tower…

Starfire and Terra was in the infirmary, looking over a bandaged Phantom and an unconscious Raven with worried expressions. It's been half an hour since they got back and they immediately applied first aid to the two supernatural heroes. Raven appears to be just unconscious while Phantom suffered from blood lose and lacerations. There was an IV full of ectoplasm attached to his wrist.

Meanwhile, Cyborg and Robin were in the interrogation room with Beastboy restrained on the chair, watching Phantom and Raven lying on the bed.

"I…did this?" he said as he looked at the screen before looking down. "No…No, I couldn't have!"

"You were the one we found in front of them and you attacked us," Robin said with a glare as he leaned on the table.

"That would explain why you were acting so weird," Cyborg commented as he looked at his scanner.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING WEIRD!" Beastboy shouted angrily, causing the two to jump back. Beastboy glared at them before he stared at them with wide eyes. "S-s-sorry, I don't know what came over me…"

"You hurt Phantom and Raven, and you're telling me you don't remember!?" Robin exclaimed as he slammed his hands on the table.

"It wasn't me!" Beastboy exclaimed before he closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. "I didn't do it!"

"You were the only one there Beastboy!" Robin shouted with a glare. "You jumped at us and tried to claw our faces off!"

"I…I…" he said as he bowed his head, taking breathes. "I didn't hurt them!"

"Then who was it!?" Robin shouted.

"It wasn't me!" Beastboy shouted, his pupils disappearing. "I…I…ARGH!"

Robin and Cyborg jumped back as Beastboy slowly turned into the Beast, growing three times larger and destroying the restraints on it. The Beast roared so loudly that it shook the room.

Robin and Cyborg prepared a sonic boom to restrain him, but the Beast lifted the table and threw it at the two before he busted out the room and ran through the hall and jumped out the window. Robin and Cyborg pushed the table off them before running out the room.

"Friends!" Starfire shouted as she flew towards them. "What has happened?"

"Beastboy escaped," Robin said as he looked at the window.

"Robin, let's go after him," Cyborg said before turning to Starfire. "Starfire, you and Terra stay here, just in case Beastboy comes back."

"Be careful," Starfire said before the two rushed out through the hall and out of the tower.

Starfire watched the two before returning to the infirmary. Terra saw her and asked what happened, and she told her what happened.

"Beastboy…" Terra said sadly as she looked at the occupants on the bed. "Hard to believe he did all this."

Suddenly, Raven gasped and sat up, surprising the two girls. She looked at the two girls before at Phantom.

"Raven!" the two girls exclaimed happily. "You're alright!"

"Ng…" Raven muttered as she held her head. "Beastboy…"

"Don't worry, we won't let him hurt you," Starfire said reassuringly.

"No, Beastboy wasn't hurting me," Raven said, looking at the two. "He was protecting me."

"It…was Adonis," a voice said that startled them. The three looked and saw Phantom sitting up, wincing in pain. "Adonis…was the one who…attacked me…Where's Beastboy?"

Meanwhile, Robin and Cyborg chased the Beast through the dark city. They were luck it was night time with most of the civilians asleep, otherwise they would have a mass panic.

They saw the Beast slipped in the manhole, back in the sewers. The two quickly followed him inside the sewers and looked for him.

"There!" Robin shouted, pointing at the left, seeing his hulking figure.

The two chased him through the sewers, before they watched him jumped out another manhole. Robin, with his acrobatic skills, jumped on the walls and grabbed the last step on the ladder and pulled himself up.

When he got up, he saw that they were in front of the closed animal testing lab. Cyborg climbed out the manhole and looked at where Robin was looking.

The two cautiously entered the labs, and saw that there were claw marks. They were in the right place.

They walked through the abandoned halls until they finally saw the Beast in the room where they fought Adonis.

They quickly rushed in and blocked the room. They readied their weapons as the Beast turned around and roared at them.

"C'mon, BB!" Cyborg exclaimed, hoping to stop this without violence. "Don't make us hurt you!"

Suddenly, their T-Comms started beeping. Robin quickly pulled his and answered it. "What? Now's not the tim-."

"Beastboy isn't the enemy!" Phantom's voice exclaimed through the room, surprising the two.

"What?" Cyborg exclaimed and was about to ask what he meant, heard another growl behind them. They turned around and saw another Beast, this one gray. It roared and pounced at them. Before they could defend themselves, they were swept off their feet and they found themselves being carried by the green Beast.

He growled at the gray Beast before pouncing towards it. The two Beasts fought like alphas, trying to gain dominance over the other. Robin and Cyborg watched, not knowing what to do. Green Beast swiped at Gray Beast's chest, causing it to retaliate by biting his shoulder.

He roared before it grabbed Gray Beast's shoulders and lifted it up. Gray Beast swiped at Green Beast, trying to free itself before Green Beast slammed him to the ground and started swiping at it. He kept it up until Gray Beast slammed his knuckles on his chest, freeing it from Green Beast.

Green Beast roared before he slammed to the Gray Beast, smashing through the wall. Cyborg and Robin followed them and saw that they were still fighting.

"We have to stop them before they kill each other!" Robin shouted.

"I don't know…" Cyborg said before he looked at his cannon. He suddenly got an idea. "Maybe if I set my cannon's frequency, I can knock them out without hurting them."

"Like a charged-up dog whistle?" Robin guessed. "Do it."

Cyborg started changing his sonic cannon's frequency. Once it was high enough, he aimed at the two Beasts and fired. It was quiet, with the air he aimed at being disoriented the only clue they have that something is happening.

But to the Beasts, it was a high-pitched noise that was excruciating. They held on their ears and kneeled to the ground, howling in pain. Gray Beast stood up and walked towards Cyborg, but its legs were grabbed by Green Beast, keeping them there.

A minute later, the two Beasts fell to the ground and slowly transformed. In front of them were an unconscious Beastboy and an unconscious and naked Adonis.

The Next Day…

Beastboy was sitting on the beach, looking at the sea as the sun sank down. Cyborg and Phantom managed to find a cure to his and Adonis' problem, and once it was gone, he felt terrible about the past week. He couldn't look at the others without feeling shame.

"Hey," a voice said behind him. He didn't need to turn his head to know it was Raven. "How are you feeling?"

"Terrible," Beastboy said, looking sick. "I can't believe I ate meat."

"You don't have to worry about it," Raven said as she sat next to Beastboy to keep him company. "You're cured, and so is Adonis."

"No…I'm not," Beastboy said as he looked at his reflection in the water. He was staring at himself, but he could see something behind him. "I can still feel the Beast inside me, he's still there…"

"Maybe that's a good thing," Raven said as she looked at the dark sky. "If it wasn't for it, you wouldn't have saved me and Phantom."

"That's true," a voice said behind them, causing them to turn and saw Phantom walking with the rest of the Titans. "You saved me, Beastboy. Thank you."

"And…I'm sorry, Beastboy," Robin said as he looked at Beastboy with shame. "I shouldn't have acted like that to you."

"No, it was my fault," Beastboy said with a small smile. "I acted like a jerk."

"But you saved Phantom and Raven, BB," Cyborg said with a grin. "That makes you the man."

"Yeah," Terra said with a thumb up.

"You are the male adult," Starfire said.

Beastboy looked at them before smiling. The Beast inside him was lurking, but maybe with them, he could control it.

"Maybe you guys should call me 'BEASTMAN!" Beastboy declared dramatically, posing in front of them. They stared at him with deadpan eyes.

"We're having a moment, don't ruin it," Raven said in a deadpanned tone, causing him to deflate and the others to laugh.

Meanwhile, in Jump City's prison, Adonis was wearing an orange jumpsuit, lying on his bunk with a frown on his face. Without his suit, he was nothing, and he didn't like being nothing.

"So, you were the one who almost killed Phantom?" a voice said that made him jump. He looked and saw a figure in front of his cell. "Impressive."

"Who are you?" Adonis said rudely.

"A friend," the figure said as he kept being hidden in the shadows. "I want you to be part of my team, the Teen Tyrants."

"So, the Adonis impressed you, huh?" Adonis said arrogantly.

"No, not the Adonis," the figure said as he threw a small ball in the cell. Adonis looked at the ball before it expelled green gas. "I want the Beast."

Adonis started coughing and he fell to his knees. His body started bulging and growing hair.

"No…No! Not agaaaaaiiiWOOOOOOO!" Adonis was gone, and the Beast stood there in tattered clothes, howling in the cell.

The figure smirked as he looked at the Beast. He walked out the shadows, showing a young man, about eighteen years old, wearing a silver, skintight suit and white body armor, a pale utility belt, dark green gloves, boots and cowl that covered his jaw and upper face, showing pale blond hair. On his chest was a dark green S.

"Get ready Phantom, cause the Tyrants are coming," he said as he opened the cell. The gas was created using the same chemicals, but it was altered so the Beast can be tamed. The Beast looked at its new master before following him out of the prison.

Dum, dum, duuuuuum! The chapter is over, the Beast is gone, and finally the mysterious recruiter appeared. Some of you guys almost guessed right, and you did, but then you guessed wrong again. Well, the Tyrants are now complete. Here are the members: Scorn, Blackfire, Red X, Atlas, Kwiz Kid, Jinx and the Beast, who used to be Adonis.

Man, that was a dozy to make. Hope you guys like it. I tried to make it different from the show, so I did it by memory. I did not watch the show. I just remembered some bits of it. I mean, you can't forget an episode like that.

Well, chapter review!

gamelover41592- She's a real character. I saw her once it the Teen Titans GO! comics. She almost defeated the Titans, but Silkie helped them.

KnightReaper- Thanks. I'll work on that story, just stay calm and read fanfics.

scheffelman- I hope it's the good type of silence, we're you were too in awe, not the bad one where you look on and didn't like it.

PhantomWrath- Yeah, I guess he just likes joking around to hide his insecurities. I mean, humor is a coping mechanism.

ShadowArbitor- Thanks. Also, yeah, I remembered Phobia in a comic I once read, and thought she might be perfect for this.

SPARTAN-626- Thanks. Yeah, that is what they fear the most. Also, you were so close last chapter, but then you guessed wrong. It's Scorn.

SoundVenom- Yeah, the ending to that episode was a bit unclear, but maybe they did a time skip. As for your request, that sounds interesting. One of the most iconic kisses in all comic world, the upside-down kiss. I'll see what I can do.

KuriMaster13- No, that's in season 3 or 4.

josephguy217- I will, don't worry.

Dreams Come True 996- I did. It was hard to brush the nougat off, but it was worth it. And no, thank you for the nice words.

SuperiorBatman1- You are CORRECT! Scorn is the recruiter. You got it right. And yeah, they got their new member.

foxchick1- Not really join, more like forced, but still, he's a tyrant now.

ScarecrowReaper- Yeah, but then again, being sarcastic is Raven's strong point. That's one of the reason she has so many fans. As for Beastboy, he's gonna have a different way of gaining control over his powers.

Kaybugg1- He's the man! Red Bird saves the day! I don't get why fans wanted him dead…Oh, in case you didn't know, Jason's death was voted.

Well, another chapter done. Three more to go, plus the final special chapter! Next chapter, it was supposed to be Malchior, but I decided to a little silliness and some cuteness, so look forward to it! See you later!
