The beaches of Tir Nan Og were some of the best in the world and perhaps beyond it, in Roxy's opinion.

The sun was shining brightly, the breeze was light; and the sea was calm; perfect for a mid-morning dip.

"Catch, Artu!" Roxy threw a ball for her dog as the two played in the water and he leapt into the air, caught it and landed in the water with a giant splash, completely soaking his human.

Roxy sputtered and coughed for a bit, then glared at her companion slightly.

"Don't blame me! You were the one who threw the ball!" Artu bark-laughed.

"I know, I know, Artu..." Roxy waded out of the water and wrung most of the water out of her hair, before using a spell to dry herself off.

"It's nice to have some downtime. With all that's been happening lately with the Trix and Voldemort, plus all the rigorous training I've been getting... This summer... it doesn't feel like much of a break at all..." she sighed as she laid back in a beach chair.

Her phone rang from within her beach bag and she rummaged for it, leaning over the side of her chair.

"It would have to slip down to the bottom of the bag..." she muttered as she finally grabbed it and managed to answer.

"Hello?"

"Roxy?" Her mother spoke. "I hate to interrupt your relaxation time, but you need to make your way back to the palace not. Something urgent has come up and your presence is needed at a meeting we're having here in an hour."

"I'll be right there, mom..." Roxy said, before hanging up.

Looking down at Artu, who had wandered out of the water to sit next to his human, she gave him a quick pat before standing up.

"Something urgent, huh?" Roxy murmured as she packed away her things. "Is it too much to hope that this meeting is going to be giving me some good news?"

"You can hope, but with the way things have been going lately, like you've said they are..." Artu replied.

Roxy sighed. "Well, she said I need to get there quickly and I have been practicing transportation spells recently..."

Hefting the beach bag over her shoulder and beckoning Artu closer, she closed her eyes and focused, touching her palms against one another.

"Transportus."

A light green light engulfed her and Artu and they disappeared from the beach, reappearing in Roxy's palace quarters.

"Hey! It worked! I made it! The spell actually worked!" Roxy cheered briefly, before remembering why she had attempted the spell in the first place.

"Right. Urgent meeting. Need to get cleaned up for it. I doubt they'd appreciate me showing up to the meeting in a bikini and shorts, with damp hair..." Roxy rummaged around in her closet and pulled out a simple, light blue, long-sleeved, knee-length dress and matching shoes, set them out on and beside the bed and walked briskly off to the bathroom to get properly cleaned up.

Almost an hour later, a now neatly dressed and groomed Roxy stepped into the meeting room.

Most of the Major Fairies except her mother and aunt were present and she noticed that the mood in the room was grim as soon as she entered.

Sitting near the head of the table, where Nebula's left would be and across from where her mother would sit on Nebula's right, she looked around.

"Good. Everyone is present?" Nebula stepped into the room, Morgana close behind her and everyone seated got up and bowed slightly.

"Formalities, formalities. This is not a boring state meeting." Nebula waved them off as she and Morgana took their seats. "This is a war council."

Roxy sat up straighter, looking somewhat startled.

Sibylla asked the question that had just formed in Roxy's mind. "War council? Does this have to do with the troubles over in the British Fairies' domain?"

"It does indeed. Yesterday evening, there was a major attack in the Wizarding World there. The full extent of it isn't yet known, but a certain Harry Potter alerted me this morning of it. Not even the fairies there knew of it until I called Stephania and asked her about what Potter had said. Apparently things there are so chaotic, that not even their paper has a handle on things yet, far less is able to report it..."

Roxy got to thinking. "Harry called my aunt directly this morning? This attack must be especially serious..."

"Roxy, in case you're wondering, I asked him not to tell you just yet about it, but to wait until now when he's gathered more information about the situation on the ground." Nebula addressed her niece.

"Right. I understand..." Roxy nodded.

"How will this affect our fairies there then?" Diana asked.

"That's what I'm hoping to discern at this meeting. Harry, as always, is at the centre of the action there and would know more about what's happening. Based on what he tells us, we will decide whether or not to enact an emergency evacuation to Tir Nan Og." Nebula answered.

"Is an emergency evacuation really necessary?" Aurora asked. "The last time something like that was enacted..."

"...was when the Wizards of the Black Circle threatened us, yes..." Morgana finished the blonde fairy's thought. "But we're doing this on a more limited scale. Right now the wizard who styles himself as Lord Voldemort and his little Death Eaters are not a threat beyond Britain's borders. Unlike the British wizards themselves, other Wizarding communities internationally took the idea of Voldemort returning a bit more seriously and are prepared, should he try attacking in any of their territories..."

"So then, this... emergency evacuation would just be for British Fairies?" Roxy asked.

Morgana nodded. "Precisely."

"Alright now. It's time. I'll start a connection with Harry and Stephania, since she seems to be the unofficial leader of the British Fairies and will be representing them here today..." Nebula got up and started two calls with phones on either side of her.

On the first ring, Harry's projection appeared above the phone nearer to Roxy and Stephania's projection appeared above the phone closer to Morgana.

Harry appeared to be sitting in an office of some sort, while Stephania was simply seated in her living room.

"Both of you are safe and secure where you are?" Nebula asked.

"Yes, Your Majesty." Stephania answered. "I put as many protective enchantments over my home as I could, even before today..."

"Indeed I am, Your Majesty. I'm currently in a secret room in what's considered to be the safest place in Britain..." Harry nodded.

"Good. Let's get on to the business at hand then. What information do you have for us?" Nebula asked.

"Britain right now is in a state of complete and utter chaos. Last evening, Voldemort launched a major attack on several key government officials, prominent figures in society, some of those he deems as Blood Traitors and on Azkaban Prison." Harry started.

"Notable figures we know of?" Nebula asked.

"The Minister of Magic, Rufus Scrimgeour is dead, the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement Amelia Bones is seriously injured and it's uncertain whether or not she will live and Healer Andrina Springsteen- the same Healer they put in charge of my case when I was admitted to St Mungo's- is missing..." Harry frowned.

"Was it ever publicised that she was the one in charge of your care when you were there?" Roxy asked.

Harry nodded. "Yes it was. The Death Eaters might have thought that she knew something about me, but even if she didn't, there are two other reasons that I could think of that they'd want to grab her. One, she's a Blood Traitor. A Pure-Blood witch who married a Muggle-Born wizard. Two, she is Head of the Spell Damage floor and would have knowledge and skills they could make use of- if she has not already been murdered..."

"What of her husband and family?" Morgana asked.

"Mr Springsteen or rather Doctor, since he practices medicine in the Muggle world- has been hospitalised, but is expected to live. I don't know about the rest of his family or hers..." Harry answered.

"We will have to make arrangements to reach out to him and offer him and their family asylum here if they want it. We did promise that if they needed it, we would offer it, after all... Harry, you are to come here the day after tomorrow. Will you be able to go to St Mungo's tomorrow and speak with him if he's in a fit state?"

"I will if you want me to, Your Majesty..." Harry nodded.

"Do that." Nebula commanded. "Stephania," she turned to the projection of the British fairy. "I want you to round up the other British Fairies and tell them what has occurred. Alert them to be prepared for the possibility of an emergency evacuation. With an unstable government and most of their government leaders dead, missing or incapacitated at the moment, Voldemort could turn his sight on the rest of you since there's no one in authority to go after his Death Eaters now. Even if they did, their prison is in shambles as well..."

"Excuse me..." Roxy spoke up. "What about Dana? She's one of us that's there and she's still missing..."

"That is true..." Aurora said. "We cannot just leave her there- if she is still alive..."

"Tracking spells haven't worked on her though, so she must be in some sort of heavily enchanted place..." Sibylla pointed out.

Harry looked pensive, and Roxy noticed this.

"Harry? What are you thinking?" she asked.

The fairies turned to him.

"There are certain kinds of magic that wizards tend to underestimate, ignore or simply deem beneath them. If we could make use of such magic..." Harry mused.

"Oh?" Nebula raised an eyebrow. "Please go on..."

"There is someone that might be able to help us. He certainly would if I asked him to..." Harry said.

"Who is he? Could we trust him?" Nebula pressed.

"Certainly, Your Majesty. He was loyal to me, even without the magical bond I have with him now. In fact, he went against his previous bonded wizard- who is a Death Eater by the way- to foil a scheme of his that put me in danger..." Harry explained.

"How do we know we can trust him if he used to be bonded to a Death Eater?" Aurora frowned.

"He's already saved my skin in more ways than one and won't hear a word against me. Besides, the nature of the bond is that if he does something against me, he'll have to punish himself... Not that I want him to..."

All the fairies raised an eyebrow.

"Right... What is his name?" Morgana asked.

"His name is Dobby and he's a House-Elf..." Harry answered.

"House-Elf... I've heard Juliana mention those after she came back from a visit with Healer Springsteen. Apparently, she and Dr Springsteen were considering acquiring one... It sounded like most witches and wizards hold them in contempt, even though they employ their services..." Stephania mused.

Roxy remained quiet, thinking as the older fairies discussed that angle.

"Hmm... Mom, Aunt Nebula, would it be possible for Harry to call Dobby to him? So we can talk to him?"

Nebula seemed to consider it. "Yes... I think we'll consider that option... Harry, can you call this... Dobby to you where you are?"

"I certainly can, Your Majesty. Dobby!"

A loud crack sounded in the background of Harry's projection and soon a creature that Roxy could best describe as cute in an ugly sort of way appeared next to him, dressed in a collection of mismatched clothing.

His appearance would have startled her if she hadn't gotten used to seeing even stranger beings and magical creatures since she'd learned the truth about her having magic.

"The Great Harry Potter called for Dobby? What is Dobby's Master be needing?" It... he said.

Harry rolled his eyes at the House-Elf's salutation, which Roxy nearly giggled at.

"Dobby, there are some people that would like to talk to you..." Harry gestured to the phone and when Dobby noticed it, his eyes actually got wider- something that Roxy didn't think could be possible.

Dobby gasped. "Master Potter be talking to Earth Fairies! Dobby heard tales of them and different magic they have... Dobby has heard many things about them, he has... mostly good things... He is happy to see and talk to them, he is... And their royalty is there too! What is they want to talk to Dobby for? I is only lowly House-Elf..."

Harry seemingly resisted the urge to roll his eyes again. "Dobby, the Death Eaters captured a fairy some months ago and even with all their magic, they couldn't find her. Yesterday, someone that helped me get better when I was ill- she's been captured by Death Eaters as well. We need to find a way to rescue them- and any other prisoners they might be holding with them. Would you be able to help us with that?"

"Dobby is not certain, Master Potter." Dobby looked down, his large, bat-like ears flopping down. "If place is being hidden and Dobby does not know it from before, Dobby won't be able to find it either. If you was to find out where it is from nasty Death Eater..."

"All the captured Death Eaters are being kept in a hidden location that even I have no idea of the whereabouts, so us pumping them is out and since the government has fallen, there's no one to do an official interrogation anyway..." Harry said.

"Perhaps... We don't have to an official interrogation..." Roxy noticed the gleam in her aunt's eye as she spoke.

"What are you thinking, sister?" Morgana asked, also noticing the gleam.

"Their government has not been doing enough about the situation, but now that their government has fallen... How good are House-Elves at tracking down people?" Nebula asked.

Roxy eyes widened at the realisation. "No. No way... You want Dobby to track down a Death Eater and capture them to interrogate them?!"

"I don't see why not, if it is possible. And if the interrogation happens to break them, then it's their fault for joining the Death Eaters in the first place..." Nebula shrugged nonchalantly, her words unsettling Roxy.

"Well, Dobby?" Harry turned to the House-Elf. "Is it possible? Could you track down and capture a Death Eater for us?"

"Dobby could try, but nasty Death Eaters would not go easily if he tracked down one of them..." Dobby looked nervous.

"That is true, even if your bonded wizard were to accompany you and you helped each other..." Nebula mused."And we should gather more information about the situation before we make such a move..."

"If I may, Your Majesty..." Harry spoke up. "If you would adjust the enchantments around Tir Nan Og so that when I arrive there the day after tomorrow I could bring him with me..."

"That is a better idea. We could meet him personally and have a better idea of what he could do." Morgana pointed out.

"Information about the Death Eaters, though... Harry, do you think you could get as much information about them as possible so we could make a better choice on both who we'd have to get Dobby to follow and those that might be at the location with them?" Roxy asked.

"Certainly, Princess." Harry smiled at her. "I've already started trying to learn as much as possible about them anyway. I'll do as much as I can between now and when I arrive there to learn more..."

"Then that matter is settled. You may bring Dobby here with you. I'll change the access wards around the island to allow it." Nebula nodded, looking satisfied- albeit temporarily.

"So the basic plan of action is: alert British Fairies to possibility of emergency evacuation, information gathering and preparation to launch a rescue mission then?" Diana asked.

"It certainly seems that way." Morgana nodded.

"It is that way. I will have the Warrior Fairies on standby for this. In fact, I will go with them when we find out where the Death Eater scum are. They need to learn that if they mess with one of us, they mess with us all. And I am not a person to be crossed."

The fairy queen donned an expression that would have had Roxy running for cover if it had been directed at her.

"Well, I have my mission and everyone else seems to have theirs..." Harry said. "Is that all you require of me... of us..." Harry gestured to himself and Dobby. "...for the moment?"

"Yes, Harry. It is. You may go." Nebula dismissed him and he ended his connection.

"This meeting is adjourned. You may all head back to your domains now. If anything else comes up, I will call you all back here." Nebula stood up and left the room, the others leaving behind her.

Sometime later, in her room in Gardenia, Roxy sat at the window, looking out at the streets.

The mid-afternoon weather was pleasant and would have made for a good day outside, but her mind wandering.

"Was it too much to ask that after the mess with the Wizards of the Black Circle, that I'd get to have some peace and quiet?" She thought. "But no... we just had to get dragged into another war..."

She looked down and saw her father leaving to go to the Music Bar, Artu barking cheerfully in the front garden as he left.

A knock on her door drew Roxy's attention.

"Roxy? May I come in?" Morgana's voice called out.

"Sure, Mom. Come on in..." Roxy got up and faced the door, just as Morgana opened it.

"Hello, my little Princess." Morgana smiled at her. "Are you okay?"

Roxy nodded. "I'm fine, Mom. Why wouldn't I be?"

"The War Council earlier. It was your first one and I guess you must have seen something like that coming, but to have to come to one and you didn't even know what it was beforehand... surely you must have been a bit thrown off..." Morgana sat on the edge of Roxy's bed and motioned for her daughter to come and sit next to her.

"I... I guess the fact that we'll be officially making a major move in that magical war in Britain... The things that will have to be done..." Roxy looked down.

"My dear Roxy, it is a war. Things will get nasty and there will most certainly be things that will have to be done that you might not like doing..." Morgana said firmly.

"I know, but then my aunt mentioned interrogation techniques when talking about capturing a Death Eater... She mentioned that there might be a possibility of breaking them. Is that what I think...?" Roxy raised an eyebrow.

"Truth Potion or Veritaserum as British wizard-kind calls it, is very complicated to brew, so we have no time for that option. Any Death Eater captured is certainly not going to co-operate with us and lives are on the line here. We will do whatever it takes to rescue our kind and any allies from their grasps even if it results in permanent damage to said Death Eater..." Morgana's tone was serious; reminiscent of the tone that Roxy remembered her having when she had warned the Winx to stay out of the way of the Earth Fairies' revenge against the humans in a time that seemed so long ago now.

Roxy nearly shuddered at the very thought. "How... how would you get this information then?"

"There are a few of us left that survived the Earth Wizards' attempted purging of us that have the psychic talent required to extract information from the mind of someone whether they want to give it up or not. One of the British Fairies that you've met- Juliana- has the ability. Clara- Dana's best friend who you've not met yet, could possess the talent with further training. I could do it myself. Extracting thoughts and memories from someone who doesn't want to give them up- especially if it's a lot of information and their mind is magically protected... There is always the risk of mental damage to the one on the receiving end..." Morgana explained.

"What about the risk of damage to the person actually doing the extracting?" Roxy looked especially concerned at that.

"A truly skilled person will incur no personal risk. Whether it is Juliana or myself that ends up performing the task, rest assured that no harm will come to us because of it." her mother reassured her.

"That's good to hear," Roxy looked somewhat reassured. "but wouldn't such a spell be considered Dark Magic?"

"You have been steeped in the morals of the Magix Fairies, haven't you?" Morgana sighed.

The two remained silent for a few moments before the older fairy spoke again.

"Unlike them, we consider the intent behind the spell, not the spell itself to be evil. Is it truly evil to use... say Harry was in a fight with Voldemort. Would you consider it evil for him to use the Killing Curse against him?"

"No, but..."

"We cannot ever afford to give an enemy any advantage in a fight. If that means fighting fire with fire... Don't ever let such an insignificant thing like morals get in your way if it came to that. It could make the difference between life or death."

Morgana hugged her daughter tightly. "I know it bothers you, but it's necessary for this to be done. We only lost to the Wizards of the Black Circle because they knew even more 'Dark Magic' than we did and fought even dirtier than we did and believe me, we fought dirty many, many times..."

"Yes, but... I'll get over it, I guess. The Death Eaters deserve more than the possibility of losing their minds..." Roxy hugged her mother back.

"Indeed." Morgana nodded. "Now come," she stood up. "Not only is physical, mental and magical training a necessity for you becoming a strong fairy, but so is good nutrition. Let us go prepare some dinner, shall we?"

Roxy's stomach rumbled, betraying her hunger.

"I guess so..." Roxy relented, following her mother out of her room, even though she still had lingering doubts about everything.
