"Ladies and gentlemen!" Boris announced. "Are you ready for the final battle in block three?"

The crowd gave a loud cheer in reply, and Tyson smiled to himself as he readied his launcher, inserting the rip-chord and attached his beyblade to the underside of the launcher, holding it loosely in his left hand.

Michael also smiled to himself, preparing his own launcher and making sure that everything was ready before showing a thumbs-up to Tyson as a show of good sportsmanship, which was returned with a smile from the Bladebreaker.

"The crowd is ready, and so are our bladers!" AJ said. "Tyson always has his game-face on, but he'll need Dragoon more than ever if he wants the Bladebreakers to advance to the semi-finals!"

"And Michael seems to still be as cool and as calm as usual," Brad added. "He and Trygle are always impressive in the dish together, and Michael knows how tough Tyson is, so don't expect him to pull any punches!"

Boris then raised his hands. "Let's see the dish!"

"Let's see it indeed!" Brad said. "What's on tap for this match, AJ?"

"This time, it's the tech dish!" AJ replied. "Its tricked out design may be pretty, but if you're not careful, you could wind up suffering a shocking defeat, literally!"

"Bladers, ready?" Boris asked. Michael and Tyson both prepared their launchers, aiming them at the dish as the announcer counted down. "3... 2... 1... LET IT RIP!"

"Come on, Dragoon!" Tyson yelled as launched.

"Make it quick, Trygle!" Michael shouted, also launching.

Both beyblades managed to land safely inside the dish, avoiding any traps as they carefully circled each other before Michael made the first move, silently commanding Trygle to dash forward and attack Dragoon, landing a decent slam on it.

"It looks like Michael is initiating the offence early!" Brad pointed out. "That was a good move!"

"And notice how it wasn't an all out one too, Brad," AJ replied. "He put just the right amount of energy into it; enough that it landed and hurt, but no overdoing it."

Tyson smirked, the slam from his opponent not affecting him in the slightest before responding with a slam of his own, hitting harder than Trygle's starting attack, much to the shock of the fans.

"You'd think that Tyson would be a bit less reckless," Steve said. "That was a risky shot."

"Tyson's got energy for days," Emily replied. "But it looks like he wants this fight to end quicker than Michael does, apparently."

"Well, the fight will end for Tyson if he keeps this up," Eddy said.

Michael smiled as he overheard his team-mates from the bench, and decided to go a bit more on the attack, but not overexerting himself. He willed Trygle to cut an angle off from Dragoon and attempt to slam into it, but Michael managed to dodge it narrowly.

"It looks like Tyson's respectful of Michael's power," Ray said.

"Either that or he's just playing games with him," Max replied.

Michael chuckled. "What's your game here, dude? Are you trying to finish me? Or are you trying to lure me into a trap?"

"I'm just doing what I do every time I bey-battle," Tyson replied.

"And what's that?"

The Bladebreaker captain smirked. "Whatever comes natural." His smirk then turned into a serious look. "Dragoon, attack him!"

Michael stood his ground as Trygle was hit with an especially hard slam, causing it to skim across the dish, landing on a button on the way there before a small hole opened behind it, revealing some wires that were giving off strong electrical currents.

Tyson spotted the trap, and commanded Dragoon to spin around Trygle to gently nudge it from behind, taking it away from the trap and landing it on relatively safer ground, much to Michael's surprise.

"W-What was that for?" the All Starz captain asked.

"If I'm going to beat you, I don't want it to be due to some trap," Tyson replied. "I want to fight you air and square."

Michael grinned. "Hehe... I like the way you think. Trygle, attack!"

Michael's beyblade spun faster as it hopped around one of the more obvious traps, curling around the outside of Dragoon and making an angle for itself to attack, turning and drifting slightly to improve its chances before landing hard on Dragoon.

"Ouch! Tyson's got to be feeling that one!" AJ said.

"That really was a strong slam, and a smart one too," Brad said. "Michael's changing of Trygle's angle benefited him greatly during that exchange."

"If Michael keeps this up, we'll be the champions in no time," Rick said.

"I wouldn't get too ahead of myself if I were you," Emily replied. "Tyson's tough. But whatever it is he's doing out there, it is risky."

"Come on, Tyson," Michael taunted his opponent. "Is that really the best that you can do?"

The leader of the Bladebreakers smiled and turned his head from side to side, cracking his neck before chuckling. "Oh, you want to see my best?"

"Well, it'd be better than just letting yourself get slammed around all day," the All Starz captain replied.

"Be careful what you wish for, buddy," Tyson grinned. "Dragoon, let's fight him back! Get after him!"

Dragoon hopped around several traps to reach Trygle, using the outside of the dish to its advantage as it circled close to its opponent to slam it hard, again sending it sliding back a few feet before following up with a second slam.

"Trygle, hold your ground!" Michael commanded.

Michael's beyblade recovered from the second slam, but was greeted by a third one, this time causing the two to engage in a very short grinding match, after which Trygle got the upper hand, swiftly moving back and then forwards again to slam into Dragoon, sending it back a couple of feet.

"What great defence from Michael!" Brad said. "But can he keep it up?"

"If he tries to, it might not go so well for him," AJ pointed out. "Michael's tough, but Tyson is known for not letting up, which is what's making this match all the more exciting!"

"Go for it, Dragoon!" Tyson yelled. "Keep up the attack!"

"Is he sure that's the wisest option?" Hilary asked. "Didn't he learn his lesson when Michael pulled that defensive move?"

"Well, Tyson does have the energy to keep this up," Ray replied. "But one of his biggest problems was always patience. I'm sure that he's learned a lot since then, but this is his first real tournament match, so I think he wants to give more of a show than anything else."

"Well, if he keeps showing off, he might get shown up!" Dizzi said. "I love the kid, but he needs to focus more on winning the match."

"Is there any information you can give us, Dizzi?" Kenny asked his laptop.

"Only that Tyson will most likely be pulled into a trap of he keeps it up."

"Traps and defence usually aren't Michael's style, though. I know that from when I battled him," Max said. "But he's smart, I'll give him that. I just hope that it doesn't become too much of a problem for Tyson."

"Maybe that's his game," Hilary said. "Maybe he wants Tyson to make a mistake."

"You sure have learned a lot about Beyblading," Max smirked. "I guess Tyson must be really rubbing off on you, huh?"

"Well, when you're with someone who is the champion, it's not hard to see why he loves it," Hilary replied with a smile.

Back to the match, Tyson was continuing to push the pace and pressure Michael, the Bladebreaker's tenacity and aggression not letting up in the slightest as the All Star continued to weather the storm.

"Michael needs to get out of there," Emily said. "He's taking way too much damage."

"You're right," Eddy agreed. "There's no point in him trying to be smart about this if his beyblade's getting all busted up."

'It's not over for me yet...' Michael said. He then waited patiently for Dragoon's next attack before smirking. "Dodge it, Trygle!"

The beyblade did as it was told, and Dragoon found itself spinning into nothing but empty air, which caused the crowd to cheer now that Michael had gotten himself out of the bad spot he was in.

"That was too close to call, AJ!" Brad said. "I'm exhausted just watching it now!"

"I hear that, buddy!" AJ replied. "It looks like that match is just going to keep heating up!"

Tyson smiled. "Smart move, dude. Dodging at the last moment when I was about to finish it."

"Oh, you think so, huh?" Michael smirked. "Well, I've got more than just that. I can only hope that you've got a better game plan than hit me really hard."

"You want to know my plan?" Tyson asked, smirking in reply. "Well, my plan is to win, as always, which is just what I'm going to do. Dragoon, Evolution Storm!"

Tyson's beyblade spun around fast until a large tornado was created, swirling downwards on Trygle as the Dragoon bit-beast itself appeared at the top of the tornado, roaring loudly as it descended down onto its opponent.

"You want to play rough, huh? Let's play rough!" Michael grinned. "Trygle, Super Cannon attack!"

On command, Michael's own bit-beast rose with a mighty screech, spreading its golden wings, flapping them a few times before taking off high into the air before stopping, allowing itself to drop back down, the bit-beast soon becoming the beyblade is it surrounded itself with a shining aura, heading straight for Dragoon.

"This could get nasty!" Dizzi said. "With their beyblades so high in the sky, we need to make sure that Tyson's head doesn't get stuck in the clouds!"

Soon, both beyblades crashed back down to the dish, causing every piece of technology that was integrated to either shatter, fly away, or just disintegrate completely from the impact of the landing.

Tyson and Michael kept their arms over their eyes to shield themselves from the dust of the impact, before a faint whirring sound could be heard, and the dust cleared to reveal Tyson's beyblade still spinning as Trygle had fallen on its side, both bit-beasts having disappeared back into their beyblades.

"Trygle was stopped in the bey-dish, which means Tyson wins and the Bladebreakers advance!" Boris said.

"YES!" Tyson said, pumping his fist into the air. "We did it!"

As the crowd cheered, Michael went to the dish to pick up his beyblade, clutching it close before smiling to himself and picking up Dragoon, walking over to Tyson as the Bladebreaker's friends came over to congratulate him.

"Yo, Tyson," Michael said.

Tyson turned to his opponent. "What's up, dude?"

The All Star grinned, handing Tyson his beyblade. "You can't win without this."

As the champion took his beyblade from his challenger, he grinned. "That was a tough match, Michael. You should be proud."

"I am. I expected a tough fight from you, Tyson. And I'm glad I got it."

Tyson and Michael shook hands, much to the delight of the crowd at the good sportsmanship between the two before both went back to their own benches to sit down, waiting for Boris to speak.

"Bladers and spectators, if you'd all make your way to block 4, we'll get the last quarter-final match done before moving on to the semis!" he said, again disappearing into the floor.

'Looks like things will just get tougher from now on,' Tyson thought to himself, holding his beyblade as Hilary kissed his cheek.

"Come on, Tyson! We'd better get a move on if we want to catch the last match!" she said, taking his hand and playfully running with him.

Meanwhile, in Brazil...

Miguel sat in his home as he watched the final match in block three reach its conclusion. He smiled at Tyson's victory, as well as all the other performances thus far, only to sigh at his own regret of not going.

As he went to the kitchen to make some food, he heard the doorbell. Shrugging, he walked over to the door, wondering who it could be. He opened it up, about to speak before looking up to see someone whom he'd never thought he'd see again.

"It's... it's you..." Miguel shuddered, eyes wide.

And that's another chapter done! I hope you guys are liking it, as well as how I wrote Michael's special attack. I had to take liberties once more, so... yeah. Again, I apologise for my somewhat slowed writing. As mentioned, there's been a lot going on right now. Anyway, I hope you liked this chapter, I hope the battle lived up to the hype, and the next one will be a bit more story focused... I'm hoping. Take care.
