While trying to surive the battle in the Shinjuku ghetto Lelouch finds the green haried girl named C.C and discovered the power of geass, but what if he also found "The Epyon gundam, a machine with a system to push a pilot to his/her limit. Can he master the Epyon and crush the Brittiannian empire or will he be lost in the maddness the Epyon's zero system can create? First story.

9. Chapter 9

Well guys here is chapter 9 the last of the filler's for a while so lets get this done. I knowing what your going to say and I know it took me a long time. This chapter isn't even that important in the long run their were some things I needed to address on what was happening but over all no mecha battles in this one. Disappointing I know which wouldn't be a problem to finish a chapter like this but I just kept re writing this chapter over and over with each version better than the last. I finally gave up and settled for the one your about to read here. I do hope it goes well and thank you all for your reviews. I don't own Code Geass or Gundam Wing in case you needed to know.

Chapter 9: The calm before the storm.

(-Sword of akasha - Location unknown.- )

The sounds of footsteps echoed throughout the stone halls and columns of what appeared to be some form of ancient ruin. The sounds continued to repeat itself as a lone figure could be seen standing at the edge of a platform starring upwards. This man was known throughout the world as the most powerful person on the planet and ruler of the largest empire in today's time, Charles Zi Brittiana. He was what anyone would picture an emperor to be. He was a man of very large stature and appeared to be muscular and well built. His prescience alone could tower over nearly all who stood before him. His long white hair was styled into Renaissance-style curls. The roof was open letting Charles dark purple eyes stare into cloudy orange sky and if one looked closely enough then a large purple sphere could be seen. As if it were a massive eye starring right back at the Emperor.

Finally the sounds of footsteps ceased as a robed man stopped behind Charles and placed a arm over his chest in some form of salute. "Your majesty. The remains have arrived."

The Emperor didn't turn his gaze away from the sky but still acknowledged the person behind him. " I was just conversing with Clovis actually. The project must proceed. With out a moments delay."

(-scene break-Ashford Academy-)

As a class was letting out, a few of the students were leaving; however the rest simply huddled into their own groups to socialize now that the class was over. The hum of steady conversation ceased suddenly Lelouch frowned and stopped packing his bag. Curiously he scanned the room for the cause of awkward silence, his eyes landed on the reason. The honorary Brittiannian Suzaku Kururgi who was once accused of killing prince Clovis and was now attending their school. Lelouch could hear all the whispers as they began spreading around the room in a most obvious fashion already and it was making Lelouch a little upset.

"What's an eleven doing here?"

" He was a suspect in Prince Clovis's murder!"

" But the teacher said the charges were dropped."

" Even so, he looks a little guilty, doesn't he?"

Kallen was with her supposed school friends Sophie, Sarah and Anders who were indirectly eying Suzaku over their shoulders.

"You don't think he's a terrorist, do you?" Sophie glanced at Kallen for a brief second in an attempt to get her opinion.

"Hm? Well I don't really know..." Kallen couldn't voice her actual thoughts since she knew who the real killer supposedly was. She glanced at Suzaku feeling a little sorry for him as he packed his bags and didn't know what to say.

"Of course he isn't. The school would know something like that." Anders spoke out saving Kallen the effort. She looked away from the others when his words made her think of who she really was. She no longer felt comfortable and decided to get some air walking away from her supposed friends. She remembered the phone I.D. Lelouch had helped acquire for her and made her way to the Principals office.

The next group to watch Suzaku was Shirley, Nina, and Rivlaz who stood behind Suzaku as he finished packing the last of his school books. Lelouch started to listen in on their opinions hoping his fellow student councils members were different than the rest.

"An Eleven, here at school.." Nina was usually shy and quiet was now starring at Suzakw4tu with fear evident in her features as her xenophobia was starting to act up.

" He is an Honorary Britannian." Rivlaz stood back with his arms crossed as he watched Suzaku.

"I know but still all the same.." Nina protested

" Well he doesn't look all that scary to me" Shirley reassured Nina in hopes of settling the nervous girl down a bit. She turned and started walking to Suzaku with a smile. " Why don't we just talk to him. I'm sure he's totally..." Rivlaz stopped her by gripping her arm making Shirley stop and turn her head to face him.

" The guy just got here give him some space." Rivlaz said to her while shaking his head no.

Lelouch decided he had enough and stood up making his chair screech across the floor on purpose. This got a few peoples attention along with Suzaku who turned to his direction making Lelouch know it worked. He walked in front and Suzaku letting him see his features and he saw Suzaku's shocked expression as he recognized who Lelouch was. When Lelouch walked to the door way of the class room he turned back to glance at Suzaku and gripped his collar and tugged it upwards. Before he left he saw Suzaku's eyes widen and started to get up as well no doubt to follow him.

( -scenebreak- Roof of Ashford-)

Lelouch leaned on the railing of the roof just watching the clouds as he waited for Suzaku. He heard the door to the roof open and glanced past his shoulder to see Suzaku poking his head out to look around. He waited and listened for Suzaku footsteps to get closer towards him. When he knew Suzaku was standing a few feet behind him he turned around fully and smiled at the Honorary Britannian.

" It's been 7 years since we used the signal. Long time no see." Lelouch greeted Suzaku like a long time friend that just came back from a trip.

" Meeting on the roof like the old days? I glad your alright Lelouch I've been worried. " Suzaku said cheerfully as he joined Lelouch on the railing making them both remember the events in Shinjuku.

" Alive and kicking thanks to you. You almost died trying to protect me." Lelouch said gratefully as he remembered his friend taking a bullet form his superior officer in order to save Lelouch's life.

" I was just returning a favor. From seven years ago." Suzaku responded back.

Lelouch was grateful for hearing that but that didn't mean it set well with him. Since he acquired two powerful weapons right after Suzaku was shot. He remembered finding out he killed Clovis and who knows how many during the Shinjuku incident. Suzaku noticed his long time friend with a troubled expression on his face and wondered what was troubling him.

" Hey wait! What about that girl from the capsule? What happened to her?" Suzaku asked Lelouch since he was curious about where she was. Since Lelouch was the last one to see her before Suzaku was shot.

" I don't know we got separated during the fray." Lelouch lied as his thoughts drifted to the green haired girl. No doubt she was doing something she wasn't supposed to. " But you would know more about her than I do right?" Lelouch asked hoping Suzaku could at least shed some light on her and to also throw Suzaku off.

" No the only ones who knew anything were the inner circle of the royal guard." Suzaku answered his question with a bit of disappointment.

( Well at least they can't trouble me anymore I guess. But still what else was my brother trying to cover up?) Lelouch pondered for minute as he wrapped his mind around the subject.

" So do I still call you Lelouch here or do you go by something else?" Suzaku's question snapped Lelouch out of his thinking and turned to his long time friend.

" The records count my old Identity amongst the dead. I go by Lelouch Lamperouge now."

"Oh..."

" What about you? What happened at your Court Marshall and why have you enrolled at this school?" Lelouch asked finding it strange that someone with a background like Suzaku would even be near a Brittiannan institute.

" I'm just as surprised as you are. What are the odds we end up at same school. Truth is someone arranged for me to get a proper investigation and that same person said that a 17 year old should be in school."

(-scene break- Government Bureau- Area 11-)

Euphemia and one of her attendant's were walking through a well decorated room filled with various works of art and paintings. She could see that the former Viceroy Prince Clovis had a love for artwork as she spotted various statue's and well designed vases ornately displayed across the table tops and corners of the room. She turned her gaze to the far wall filled with numerous paintings both large and small to either well detailed or just simply color splashed to make shapes. She walked up to a large portrait of a beautiful woman in a blue dress sitting with a young boy to her right and a small girl holding her hand to her left. The picture gave the impression of a loving family despite no father figure being seen anywhere in the portrait. She traced her eyes over to see another painting of a large flower garden with many different colors dancing across the canvas, the painting filled her with a warm feeling.

" Were all of these painted by Clovis?" She asked her attendant.

" Yes. Your highness."

She walked up to the flower painting and placed a hand on it over the majority of where the flowers were. She traced a hand over the painting and smiled sadly as thoughts of her brother came to mind. ( Such gentle colors... Very much akin to my brother.)

(-scene break- Central Japan-)

If one expected Princess Cornelia to announce her presence as Viceroy by displaying it on national television then they would've been disappointed. The Emperor had tasked her with cleaning up the mess her brother had left behind before his demise and she planned to get started right away. She left the majority of her forces back in the new area 18 that the empire was establishing. She had only brought with her a select group along with her two most trusted men Guilford and Darlton to accompany her. When she finally arrived in Area 11 she was utterly disgusted with how the forces were operating and set out to shape up her new soldiers.

The purist faction that was once lead by Jeremiah Gottwald was now being detained for numerous blunders among which was nearly killing her sister. Jeremiah himself was being interrogated for potential crimes against the crown but so far her men had turned up nothing. The military and knightmare police in Area 11 were hearing rumors of Zero being called the ' The Red Devil' or something like that. The name caught on when reports of Shinjuku, Port Yokosuka, and the last battle with Jeremiah's men have said that Zero charged into battle with some sort of massive Knightmare frame had killed anyone who came across him like a mad man. The few men that had come out alive, excluding Jeremiah and his purist's, seemed to be unnerved after the conflict and claimed it was like fighting the Devil himself when the giant turned its green ominous eyes upon you.

Cornelia however did not believe in such rumors. She had set out to hunt down Zero or 'The Red Devil' as the men kept referring to him as. This plan to find Zero would start by targeting every known terrorist cell the government had been tracking during Clovis's rule. By doing that she planed on finding the masked murderer and making him pay for his crimes against her family while also securing the island nation that had become nothing but a hot bed of terrorist acts.

The new G 1 commissioned to the Viceroy's forces was bringing up a map of the surrounding area for her forces. The officers along with General Dalton pulled up their wall sized View screen showing the imperial forces surrounding a mountain. By coordinating the past outlandish attacks in the area's nearby and interrogating known supporters they determined a known terrorist cell which had made it's home in a old bunker buried into the mountain itself. The cell calling itself The Blood of The Samurai were known for their extreme methods against the current government and were responsible for numerous attacks on the brittiannan populace no matter who got caught in the crossfire. If there was any place for Cornelia to start her search for the ' The Red Devil' it would be here.

Since hearing about Zero possibly being a knightmare pilot she wanted to test out his skills for herself despite the protest of her current advisers. To put them a ease a bit Cornelia had left Andrea's Dalton behind to coordinate things from the G1 they were using in the operation. He along with several officers were overlooking the mountainous terrain identifying the enemies location and strength. Once all that was done and sent to the viceroy the rest would fall into place.

(-outside on the field-)

The operation was going smoothly at first as the brittiannan military was setting up a perimeter around the mountain. However before they began to move in to secure it their operations were interrupted when the various openings trailing up the mountain revealed housing multiple 120mm cannons bearing the flag of Japan. The cannon emplacements soon rained down shells onto the military's position. To counter this the tanks were ordered to provide suppressive fire onto the mountain. Lord Gulford was using his knightmare to lead a division slowly up the mountain hoping to draw the attention off of Cornelia who would attack form the summit of the mountain with her more advanced Ghlouster.

She finally reached the summit. It gave her a view of all the defensive cannons firing at her forces below. Setting her knightmare to full speed downward towards one of the openings the resistance were using to enter the mountain. The noise from her land spinners finally caught the attention of some of the defenders who redirected a couple of cannons aiming their fire towards her. The sounds of ballistic shells smashing apart dirt and rock hit close to Cornelia's Ghlouster.

" Relic's of a forgotten age!" she couldn't help but feel superior as the old war machines tried in vain to hit her. Her knightmare jumped high into the air and fired her slash harken towards one of the cannons. The harken smashed through the cannons remains imbedding itself in the earth just as two more cannons positions had noticed her and redirected their aim. Quickly firing another harken she avoided the incoming fire by pulling herself left to right by retracting the cables letting the shells soar past her as she made her way back towards the ground. When she finally got close enough she re tracked the two harkens and landed in front of a tunnel going into the interior of the mountain.

" Dalton is this the correct one?" She contacted her subordinate as her Knightmare stood back up and faced the tunnel. The remaining cannons had turned their attention back to Lord Gulford's forces below. As the booms continued to echo throughout the distant air .

" Yes my lady. Shall we accompany you?"

" No not for this level of resistance."As she was preparing to head in she noticed the rail road track coming from the inside the mountain. She quickly pieced together how these Elevens were able to move their gun emplacements around but in the hands of these lesser's was proven useless. Her knightmare's land spinners connected to the tracks the action causing sparks to fly as she moved through the tunnel. When she finally reached the end she found herself in a large well lit room that was filled with surprised Elevens who were moving supplies and equipment being evacuated or moved in order to join in to help the defenders outside. In either case Cornelia couldn't care less as she turned on the outward speakers on her knightmare.

" Surrender at once you foolish Elevens!" she said with authority in her voice breaking the silence. The Blood of The Samurai resistance group quickly went from surprised to angry when recognizing who's voice it was and to whom the knightmare belonged to.

" DOWN WITH BRITTANA!" they yelled out in a chorus of anger as every member dropped what ever they were doing and brought up their rifles and pistols.

The bullets they sent forth however couldn't even pierce Cornelia's machine and simply bounced off as the knightmare just stood there making their efforts useless. The head of the knightmare was moving side to side looking throughout the room letting Cornelia scan and search for any kind of knightmare the blood of the samurai were using or in the least find Zero amongst the rabble shooting at her.

" Doesn't seem Zero is here. No point in going after them one at a time I suppose." She said in a bored tone as she found no trace of Zero or his Red Devil knightmare. Moving her knightmare's rifle up to bear against the remainder of the blood of the samurai her attitude quickly turned much darker.

" Vermin. Rot like the filth that you are!" was the only thing she said as she fired towards them sending them into the next life.

(- Scene break- Ashford.-)

Lelouch was now getting back from the settlement he went to after class under the guise that he was working a part time job. What he actually did was purchasing two new cell phones for himself as his alter ego and the other for C.C in case of an emergency. He was reluctant on doing so but eventfully figured it might work out later on. He also purchased a masking device's he acquired from a contact to go along with the new phone's, so no would be able to track it. He wasn't a tech expert but he was assured it would allow him to make anonymous calls without the risk of being tracked. Lelouch quickly figured this was to encourage repeat business, since the guy also wanted to sell him some more illegal items. Lelouch turned him down saying he would return when he needed more items.

When he finally reached the living quarters he noticed Nunnally and Sayoko were still gone. Figuring they were still outside, as Nunnally enjoyed going for a walk around the campus for some fresh air occasionally, he continued on to his bed room.

" You seem a little happier then usually. Did something good happen today?" Lelouch looked towards the source of the voice to find C.C sitting on his bed again. He kept his face straight as he made his way towards his desk.

" As a matter of fact; yes something good did happen today. I'm bringing someone one to meet Nunnally. I also got you something." Lelouch said as he tossed a package towards C.C.

She caught it by stretching herself off the bed a little, steadying herself when she had a good hold on it. Inspecting it closely she was surprised to see it was a small white and green cell phone. Not understanding the reasoning, she looked back to Lelouch to see him with a cell phone as well, only black along with some other small things to go along with it. " What's with the phone?"

"It's so we can be in touch while we aren't together whether it's here or back at the scrap yard. It's prepaid so I won't have to worry about a bill or anything until the minutes run low." Lelouch explained and set the other new phone down with the masking device and started working on it.

" If you think I'm going back there tonight then forget it. You don't have a bed or anything else to make it worth staying and I am not about to sleep inside Epyon. I don't want to end up like you the other day."

Lelouch glared at her for a minute because of the comment, but gave up trying to reason with her. He let out a sigh to calm himself and looked back to the phone he was modifying. " I promise to fix up the place soon. Its just dangerous for us to leave it unguarded. Plus it shouldn't work unless its active so you'll be fine."

" Fine. But I say we take turns on it and you let me pick the things we need to make it liveable. I happen to know a thing or two about getting by with just the bare minimum."

" Yeah right. Your as high maintenance as they come." Lelouch chuckled to himself a bit making C.C glare at him in annoyance.

The two sat in silence for a while as Lelouch worked on the phone masking tech. He stopped when he heard a loud knock coming form the front door. Clicking the last part into the base of the cellphone he set it down and started making his way to the front door. The action made C.C look at Lelouch in a puzzled manner as he was about to leave the bedroom.

" Is Nunnally back?" She asked stopping Lelouch just before he left.

" No it's the that person I mentioned before. Do me a favor and stay in my room I don't want to explain to them why your here."

" Alright I guess you don't want people teasing you about having a girl staying with you." C.C threw in as Lelouch finally shut the door. The comment made him growl as he thought about the last time that was mentioned while he made his way to the front door.

Opening the door Lelouch found Suzaku standing there with his hand held up no doubt to knock on the door again. The two just stood there in silence until Lelouch decided to lighten the mood.

"Hey well look who finally showed up." Lelouch said with a teasing grin.

" What are you talking about? Your're the one that said I should show up around this time. May I come in?" Suzaku said with a smile.

" Sure thing. I really appreciate you doing this by the way. It must have been hard to get away from work." Lelouch asked as he motioned for Suzaku to follow him into the dining room.

" No its fine, I'm happy to do it. Don't worry my boss let me go early. He's trying get permission for someone he has high hopes on to work in our division. So far its not going so well." Suzaku said as he followed Lelouch.

Lelouch couldn't help but think about the first time he and Nunally had meet Suzaku. Had it really been seven years ago; so much had changed in that time. His mind began to think about how things were back then, even about how Suzaku was when they were younger.

(-flash back- Brittianan imperial calendar year 2009. Japan-)

Lelouch carried his younger sister up a steep outdoor Japanese staircase struggling to make it. The staircase was lined on either side by rows of gorgeous cherry trees. The setting was both beautiful and peaceful. However Lelouch was not really paying attention to the scene around him; as he was suffering a little bit of back pain from his burden. He ignored his suffering and pressed onward to the shrine they needed to reach at the top of the hill.

" So are we going to the king of Japan's house?" Nunnally asked innocently from over Lelouch's shoulder.

" Well Nunnally Japan doesn't have a king. They have a prime minster and he lives in a shrine. A shrine is like a Japanese religious building like an old church." Lelouch tried to explain it simply for her to understand it better.

" So the prime minster is like the Pope?"

" Not really but they vote for him to lead. The Krurugi home just so happens to be a shrine. There no special reason for it." Lelouch said as he tried to keep himself maintained upright on the steep climb.

" Are you alright Lelouch? It seems like an awfully long stair way." Nunnally noticed Lelouch struggling and couldn't help but be concerned for her big brother.

" No I'm fine. This is nothing." Lelouch reassured her, clearly sweating as they neared the top.

( To be honest that stair way was a pretty steep climb for a nine year old. However back then I decided that no Japanese would even touch Nunnally. Ever.)

When they reached the top they meet the prime minster's family. Receiving a wheelchair for Nunnally so that she could move about on her own and a place for the two siblings to stay while waited for the Prime Minster of Japan to decide their fate. When they meet the Prime Minister himself the feeling Lelouch got wasn't one of kindness from Genbu Krurugi but rather one of disgust. Briefly looking away from Genbu Krurugi gaze Lelouch noticed a small black haired girl hiding behind the Prime Minister. She peered out and was looking at Lelouch shyly, judging by her looks she was the same age as Nunnally. When Lelouch and the girl they made eye contact causing her to quickly hid and giggle making Lelouch roll his eyes. He pushed Nunnally away when Genbu pointed towards the direction of where they would be staying. For Lelouch it didn't matter, as long as they were given a place to rest their heads.

Pushing Nunnally, which a lot easier than carrying her up the steps, allowed Lelouch to catch his breath. When they finally reached their destination it was not what they were expecting.

( The place we were given was a tiny store house on the grounds of the Krurugi shrine. The first time I saw it I just stood there. Speechless.)

" Lelouch are we there yet?" Nunnally asked snapping Lelouch of his present state.

" Umm. Yeah."

" So tell me about our new home. What does it look like?" Nunnally asked with a bit of hope in her voice.

" Its really nice. The walls are white as snow and there's a picture window with flowers all around."

" It sounds like Euphy's room. Is it a lot like that?"

" Yeah it is. It's a little small but its fine for just to two of us." Lelouch had been fibbing for what he was actually looking at was just a bunch of boxes and a ladder leading to the top or attic of the store house. It didn't matter as the lie brought a smile to the little girls face and that was all that was important.

Lelouch heard a noise from the attic region startling the two siblings. He moved in front of Nunnally in in a protective manner in case it was a wild animal. They waited for something to happen when Lelouch saw a figure moving in the attic. The figure was Lelouch's height and was in the shape of a human.

" Alright who's there?! You show yourself to me right now!" Lelouch said with authority in his tone.

" Don't talk like your all that big! This was my place long before you ever came here!" the voice belonged to a younger version of Suzaku who glared down at Lelouch as he climbed down the ladder.

" Your place?" Lelouch was confused the prime minster had said that the shack wasn't being used by anybody at the moment.

" That's right! You Brittianan's have a lot of nerve coming here. You think you can just come here and take over Japan!" The other boys words struck a cord with Lelouch making him return the glare.

" Oh yeah well Japan takes over other countries too. They just do it secretly with money and financial control!" Lelouch's counter response caught the other boy off guard as Lelouch continued on. " Their not much difference between Japan and Brittiana at all!"

"That's a lie!"

" Oh yeah, try asking the prime minster about it!"

" Your lying! You lie about every thing! The walls aren't white as snow and there's no picture window in this store house!" Lelouch noticed the other boys yelling and calling out his lie was upsetting Nunnally. When she hunkered in her chair and gasped in fear; Lelouch knew he had to stop this boy.

" Stop it!" Lelouch ran at the other boy, fist raised.

( Without thinking I charged at the boy fists swinging. But.)

Suzaku took a stance and thrust a powerful punch to Lelouch chest. The blow sent the other boy down to the ground wheezing as the air was knocked out of his lungs. Lelouch was struggling to get up as he glanced at the boy and noticed him walking towards him with ill intentions.

" How do you like that you stupid Brit!" Suzaku yelled out as he sent a couple kicks to Lelouch stomach. " Don't ever insult us Japanese!" Suzaku punched Lelouch in the face despite his attempts to resist.

" Please stop it! Don't hurt my big brother! I don't know who you are but please stop hurting him!" Nunnally said , tears streaming from her closed eyes. She couldn't bear to hear her brother being hurt.

The pleading of Nunnally snapped Suzaku's attention away making him notice the tiny girl in the wheel chair. He was shocked to see not only was she crippled but her eyes were not open, making him step away from Lelouch.

" Your.. Your blind?" Suzaku asked to confirm his suspicions.

" Yes. So you don't have to worry about me at all. I can't do anything, I can't fight or even run away. So please don't hurt my big brother!" Nunnally pleaded again as her tears continued to fall down her face. When Suzaku finally realized what was going on and what his actions caused his face looked mortified.

( The boy was so disturbed at first he couldn't say anything. And then he apologized and dashed out of store house like he was escaping from something.)

" Lelouch? Are you alright?" Lelouch attention was drawn to Nunnally as she asked about his well being.

" I'm fine. He didn't hurt me that bad." Lelouch said as he finally managed to get up. His body was bruised and scruffed up.

( I was lying more to myself then Nunnally back then.)

" Who was that? It sounded like a boy?" Nunnally asked him in hopes of finding out.

" I think that was the prime minster's son? Suzaku or something." Lelouch said as he watched the other boy run away until he disappeared into the main building of the Krurugi shrine.

( That was how Suzaku and I first met. I had grown up surrounded by rivals and detainers in the past but for Suzaku, he would become my first real friend.)

( -Flash back ends-)

Lelouch and Suzaku were sitting at the dining room table catching up and telling old stories from their past. Lelouch was chuckling a little to himself a bit until he heard the sound of the door opening. They both looked to see who it was. Nunnally was entering their home with Sayoko following behind her.

" Hey Lelouch I'm back." Nunnally said as she moved her motorized chair into the dining room.

" Oh good you made it back."Lelouch said with a smile. "Miss Sayoko." Lelouch said while putting a finger to his lips in a sign to keep quiet. Gesturing to Suzaku and mouthing the words SURPRISE to his maid Sayoko.

The maid tilted her head in understanding as Lelouch motioned to the boy. She watched as Suzaku slowly walked towards Nunnally and gently took her hand. The younger girl face showed shock as she caressed the boys hands as if it was something she missed dearly. She lifted up the boys hand to her face and rubbed her cheek against it as she shed tears. Sayoko noticed the small glimpse of a smile across the young girls face.

" This hand... Thank heaven I just knew you would be alright." Nunnally cried quietly but it was with happiness not sadness.

" It's been awhile huh Nunnally?" Suzaku said, he couldn't help but feel the joy the girl was experiencing.

" Turns out Suzaku is now attending Ashford now. We happen to be in the same class together as well." Lelouch watched as Nunnally's face light up even more once she heard that.

" Really! Oh Lelouch this is the best present ever!" Nunnally said gripping Suzaku's hand tightly one more time before letting him go.

" If you don't mind Master Lelouch I think I should get dinner started. Nunnally said wanted the same sandwiches I made yesterday." The maid announced as she excused herself to the kitchen.

" Actually Sayoko I already have something made for the occasion so if you need to do anything for yourself tonight your free." Lelouch said with a smile towards Sayoko.

The maid nodded her head and gathered her things together. Lelouch entered the kitchen politely opening and closing the door for Sayoko thanking his maid gratefully. He picked up the meals he had prepared smiling as he listened to Nunnally laugh from the next room. He started the teapot and put the food on a cart then made his way back to the others. As he grew near he listened to more of Nunnally and Suzaku's conversation while he set the table.

" So Suzaku please say you will stay the night,won't you?" Nunnally asked holding her hands together in front of her.

" I wish I could but the military's got me pretty busy tomorrow, but I promise to see you afterwards." Suzaku explained to her.

" So you're still in the military?"

" Yes. Don't worry, they transferred me to engineering so it's a lot less dangerous."

" Engineering? Sounds pretty cool." Lelouch noticed the hissing coming from the kitchen and stood up. Suzaku noticed too quickly jumped up as well making Lelouch look at him in confusion.

" Please let me!"

" No its fine, It's our turn to be your host this time."

" Ok. If you say so."

" Its funny your a lot more mellow than you used to be." Lelouch said with amusement in his voice as he brought up how Suzaku us to be.

" Well you're a bit more ruff." Suzaku countered with the same amount of amusement.

As Lelouch walked into the kitchen he could see the tea pot hiss as steam wisped out from its spout. Making his way towards the pot he noticed C.C standing next to leaning against the wall with her arms crossed. The look on her faced showed she was interested in something but she didn't voice her question. Lelouch eyes narrowed at her since he knew she wasn't supposed to be here and wanted to know why.

" I thought I told you to stay in my room?"

" That boy out there? He's the one from Shinjuku are you sure that's wise?" C.C questioned Lelouch while looking past him to the brown haired boy talking to Nunnally with a gentle smile on his face.

" Don't worry about him. He's... he's just an old friend. From the past." Lelouch said. Grabbing the tea kettle he prepared tea for everyone. However C.C noticed the faraway look in his eyes as if he was recalling a most treasured memory.

Dasuke was leaning forward in his seat while fiddling with an old computer monitor he had acquired some time ago. He was trying to rework the wires back to their original position while replacing the broken bulb inside the monitor at the same time. Behind him the scientist's were hard at work as they used the material's Dasuke had managed to get from the locals to build some form of communication and work station. The tech were pretty old for his taste but they proved to know enough, and the old egg heads didn't complain all that much. The monitor Dauke was working finally came to life making him smile as he put all of the components back into place.

" Alright finally got this piece of crap back to life." Dasuke said out loud drawing the attention of the others.

Doktor S looked from his own work chuckling at the good news" Good, now hook it up to the server. I want to start working on Heavy Arms as soon as possible."

" Hey have you heard anything from that kid yet? It's been awhile." Dasuke said after hooking up the server letting the digital data appear on the screen. He soon noticed some dust on the monitor and grumbled as he pulled out a cloth to wipe it clean.

Howard soon walked into the room with haro rolling along side him. He just so happened to hear Dasuke's question and decided to enlighten the man. " I was just talking to him a few minutes ago. Turns out he ran into some person of interest and they even offered him boarding."

Dasuke was actually caught off guard by the news and looked back to Howard to find out more. " What kind of person's of interest?"

Howard just shook his head shrugging a bit." He said something about some R&D department that he accidentally ran into. He did some piloting with a machine they built and the people in charge want him profiled. He thinks they want to hire him as a test pilot."

" Hmm. I admit Trowa has found himself in a excellent position; but he's a little close to the occupational forces. Still this could get us some more data on the Knightmare's if he is able to send any." Professor G said while putting a hand on his chin pondering the information they could use.

In what seemed like an instance the rest of the equipment group had been working on came to life. The various screens and lights brightening the room making everyone smile in accomplishment.

" Alright. Now all we need is to get Heavy Arms tuned up and get started scanning frequency's. Once we've done that we should be able to locate that Zero person again." The professor stated confidently.

" Ready to go. Ready to go." Haro chirped as it rolled up to Dasuke making him look down at the small robot.

" -Sigh- Well the world is looking for that guy so we need to be careful. Also I just got word a group was just wiped out earlier today. Intel said it was the new Viceroy. She's got a pretty mean rep to her name." Dasuke informed the group causing some of the men working to look a little worried.

" A new Viceroy you say? Well if she going to be a problem then we might need to step up our search for Zero. What's the name of this Viceroy?" Professor G asked while setting up the equipment to begin tuning and repairs on the Gundam.

" Well the word is the Viceroy just happens to be the Witch of Britannia. If this goes on I think she might start cracking down on more resistance groups pretty soon." Dasuke said as he moved towards the rest of the scientist's in order to help out with whatever they were about to do.

Professor G pondered a bit at the name as he began typing on a keyboard. " A witch you say? I take it she is dangerous."

Dasuke shook his head grumbling at the mention of the Viceroy's title. " Yeah she's done a lot to get that name. She's actually the third princess of the empire; who just so happens to be a commander in the military."

" Then we don't have time to waste do we."

(-scene break- Ashford Academy-)

Lelouch was silently walking to class, a solemn expression on his face. His mind was still lingering on the events from last night. The problem with letting Nunnally meet up with their old friend Suzaku was it let her believe things might be like old times. He didn't want to admit it as well but to be honest it did seem like they were back in the earlier days before Britannia's hostile take over to Lelouch for a brief moment. However when Lelouch was walking Suzaku out to see him leave he had asked his friend to stop by again. Instead Suzaku refused his offer, even stated they shouldn't even be seen hanging out at school together either. The reason being Suzaku didn't want to risk the chance of anyone finding out Lelouch was friends with an Eleven or worse that he was a Britannian prince.

The mere fact that Suzaku was more worried about trying not to cause trouble rather than throw danger to the wind to be with his long time friend seemed to unsettle Lelouch. When he finally went back inside he started to think over what Suzaku had said and couldn't help but find it foolish. Another thing that made the whole night worse was the fact that C.C had taken his bed for herself while he was gone. Not wanting to deal with her at the time he decided to just leave her be. Resigning his self to sleep on the couch.

"Hey Lelouch wait up!" a voice gained Lelouch attention. Turning around he saw it was his friend and fellow student council member Rivialz waving at him. Lelouch decided to wait for him and leaned just next to the door way.

" Hey buddy how ya been? You know we missed you at last council meeting"

Lelouch only chuckled he knew the meeting in question was probably about the whole budget ordeal. Truth be told he had already figured it out awhile ago but hadn't gotten around to giving the report back to Milly. "Yeah sorry about that I've been really busy with this new part time job. It's sort of been stressing me out."

" Really? You getting a job is the one thing I didn't see coming."

Lelouch was about to explain to Rivialz when he noticed Suzaku walking past them. The two friends made eye contact for a brief second before looking away from each other swiftly. Suzaku entered the classroom while Lelouch quietly thought to himself. Rivialz noticed his action and wondered if something was up. Fortunately the bells chimed letting everyone one know that it was time for class to begin. Lelouch took his usual seat noticing that Suzaku was only a couple seats to his left but with the way everyone was trying to inch away from the honorary Britannian it felt a bit farther away.

" Alright class! I know yesterday's class was canceled but that didn't excuse you from studying last night. Now here is a quick quiz over this weeks topic." the teacher stated.

" Ahh..."

" You're kidding right?'

The teacher only waved off their protest as he handed out test papers. " Don't worry its just a simple true or false test. Only 20 questions and once that's done class will be released again for the funeral service of the late prince Clovis. I've been informed to tell all students to meet at the main auditorium at one o'clock. So clear up your schedules today."

Lelouch only scoffed at how simple the test was yet he heard several classmates complain. While he skimmed over the paper a vibrating phone started off in his pocket. The sound though muffled was loud enough for a few people sitting near him to look in his direction. Making sure the teacher was sitting at his desk Lelouch quietly pulled out his phone. It appeared a text message had been received.

… Yes. I know it was a little unorthodox but we needed to get in contact with you.

I assume it has something to due with recent military activity. Give me thirty minutes I'll contact you once I'm in a secure location.

( Well they were bound to come knocking sooner or later) Lelouch thought as he looked back to the test to finish the fairly simple questions.

It only took five minutes for him to complete. While getting up to leave the classroom he noticed Rivalz seemed to be struggling with his own test. Passing by Suzaku on his way out of the class room. The two made eye contact briefly only for Suzaku to turn away completely. As unpleasant as it was Lelouch knew he was doing what he thought was right. Still he was his friend in the past and now he seemed so different. It was sort of painful to watch but for now he couldn't really do anything about it.

As he was making his way down the hallway he pulled out his phone and checked for anyone around him. The halls were quiet since all classes were no doubt making sure their students didn't fall behind. Satisfied with the lack of eyes and ears around; he looked up the number that had text him and set his thumb over the call button. He breathed in slowly letting his mind prepare for what these people would want from him, Finally he exhaled and hit the call button.

"Hello? Who is this?" an uncertain voice was on the other end. It sounded familiar and Lelouch pictured the face of the one named Ohgi behind it.

" Is this Ohgi I'm addressing? If so you wanted to speak with me."

" Yeah this is Ohgi. It's funny we don't know who you are really and it took us a while to find this..."

" Get to the point."

" Right sorry. I take you heard about the military making it's move."

" I have a pretty firm grasp of whats happening. I'm already taking steps ahead to deal with it.

" Then I take it you heard about the Blood of the Samurai faction, they were the largest group in central Japan. Listen Zero if we don't do something quick, then we might be dealing with them sooner than excepted."

" Just hang tight. I'll keep my eyes on the situation but if we move to soon we might end up caught on their war path. Right now the New Viceroy is turning over every rock she knows the trouble makers could possibly be hiding under. Just stay off the grid and you'll be fine."

" Wait so we're just going to wait and hope she just looks over us. How are you so sure she won't come breathing down our necks?"

" Cause your group doesn't have the means of storing and arming of a monster. I do. She's busy dealing with her first group of suspects. Wait for a few days. I'll contact you again when I know our movement will be less restricted."

" Wait how can you be sure tha..." Whatever was about to said was cut off when Lelouch hung up the cell phone.

( So Cornelia out for blood. This should be interesting.) He thought while continuing his stride through the halls. For a brief movement Lelouch felt something close to excitement within him before thinking more on what his next move should be.

While his thoughts lingered on the subject he finally reached his destination the student council building. Lelouch was walking up the main steps when he noticed someone walking down and past him. Looking back he saw the person was wearing a pizza delivery uniform and Lelouch growled in frustration at the reason behind it. Moving through the door he spotted C.C carrying a couple of pizza boxes back to his room. She looked back sheepishly at Lelouch walking through the door.

" Oh your not attending school again. You might fall behind if you keep this up."

" It's fine, the mourning for Prince Clovis ends today so this will be the last of classes being canceled for while. Thou that doesn't explain why your still using my card for your pizza addiction."

" I'm trying to get reward points. It's not doing any harm so relax."

" (sigh) There's no point in arguing with you. Well you can start paying me back by helping me move some stuff to our safe house.

" Oh? You finally getting back to your plans, I figure you'd wait till found a way to locate that contact from before."

" Well I've monitored a few channels for awhile but the fact of the matter is I need to prepare for the military's increased actions. I liked to be ready, just in case, so I'll just have to find a different way for repairs. There were a couple of manuals pertaining to the methods of maintaining knightmares, It's not much but its all we have for the moment." Lelouch said as the two finally made their way to the living quarters of the club house.

When they reached his room C.C put the pizza boxes onto a small table and noticed a few large plastic boxes off to the side. A quick glance and she found materials on how to fix up a small living space. " So this is the stuff for your little hide away in that Junk yard?"

Lelouch nodded as he went to work on his computer he had setup on the desk. He pulled the data acquired from Epyon he readied the files to bring with him. " This and the equipment from Ashfords will be ready to move during the Last of the mourning service. If all goes well then everyone will be to busy to notice and I'll continue my preparation from the safe house."

" Oh aren't you worried about the movers freaking out over the size of the buildings occupant? Seems a little risky."

" Don't worry I managed to Geass a few individuals to act as my representatives. They'll take the equipment, move it in and leave without even remembering a thing." said Lelouch. Putting in the flash drive he began transferring the files. " Well with everything set up and ready to go I'm just going to need your help with these last few boxes. This will help us, we can take turns guarding the safe house for the time being."

" Whatever you say."

Just as Lelouch unplugged the flash drive he heard the whirring of Nunally's chair outside his door. He pocketed the drive in his pocket and motioned for C.C to stay quiet while his sister came into view.

" Lelouch is that you?" Nunally asked.

" Yeah it's me. Sorry if I disturbed you."

" Not it's alright. I just wanted to let you know I had Sayoko fix us something so would you care to join me?"

Lelouch was now sitting with his sister. She asked Lelouch about how Suzaku was doing. She seemed concerned with his life. Apparently Nunally had ran into Nina, one of the other student council members, and was saddened by Nina's reaction to their old friend. Lelouch knew it was due to the girls xenophobia. Nunally had also told Lelouch of other horrible rumors about Suzaku from the other students of the Academy. She said not only did they mistrust him but they were also thinking of taking hostile action against him.

" It's just not fair!Why are they doing this to him? Can't you do something about it?" Nunally pleaded with her older brother.

" I don't know. Suzaku said he wanted to avoid drawing too much attention to us, so he says he'll deal with whatever happens himself." Lelouch tried explaining to her.

" But it's so cruel! Are you sure you can't do anything, he's your friend right?"

Lelouch didn't know how to respond to her question because he just couldn't find an answer. In truth he wanted to tell Suzaku he was a fool and help him with whatever situation he found himself in. However he also knew that Suzaku was stubborn and wouldn't want to involve Lelouch with his problems. Lelouch glanced out the window that over looked a part of the campus grounds and noticed Suzaku. He seemed to be speaking with two other individuals. Suzaku had his back facing Lelouch.

( Well Speak of the devil. Hold on?)

He noticed the other two individuals were boys wearing the standard Ashford student uniform but he couldn't recall ever meeting them. The two were confronting Suzaku and they seemed to be angered about something from the way their body language spoke to Lelouch. Suzaku didn't seem to be taking any aggressive response; or any defensive response either for that fact making Lelouch a little upset. What made him worry was the fourth individual that was walking towards them. The person in question was a known deqilent by the name of Russel Berg and Lelouch knew about Russel's background. His father was a noble involved with a number of law firms so he had some power in the region.

That didn't stop his son from turning into one of the meanest people on campus. Most everyone tried to avoid, from what Lelouch heard from Rivalz the guy also was involved with gangs known to be against Elevens. From the stories Rivalz painted they weren't shy about it either and the fact that an individual with known hatred towards Elevens was now walking towards Suzaku spoke nothing but trouble.

" Shit this isn't good!" Lelouch said as he got up quickly. Startling Nunally as he ran out the door. His only thought was he hoped he wasn't too late.

Suzaku knew today wasn't going to run smoothly but it was nothing that wasn't too much to handle. Then he had ran into the same two boys from that time he had spent visiting the Shinjuku ghetto with Euphy, and Trowa, turns out they still held a grudge against Suzaku. Now they were confronting him but neither one had made a move against him, no doubt what he did to the other group they ran into had made them weary. While they were demanding he replace their destroyed property, which was a camera if Suzaku's remembered correctly. He couldn't help but notice another person was walking up behind him the two boys kept glancing toward them. Turning slightly he noticed the person was a tall male around his own age and also wore the same uniform but it was worn in a carefree manner leaving the jacket unbuttoned letting Suzaku see a red t-shirt underneath. The boy's hair was long and slicked down giving it a greasy look and was a very shiny black color; while his eyes seemed to radiate foul intent.

Suzaku was drawn back to the previous boys in front of him as they started speaking again.

" Look here you honorary citizen your buddy smashed my Prime G to pieces and I want it replaced! My father paid for that camera for my club activities and I demand it be reimbursed! Since you know that guy you'll have to deal with his debt!"

" Listen I'm truly sorry for what happened with Trowa but to be honest I don't have the money to replace what he broke. I wish there was a way I could help but I just can't." Suzaku gave the only response he could make.

" THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH!" one of the boys screamed out but quickly paused when he felt a hand land on his shoulder. Looking back the boys quickly became nervous as they recognized who it was.

" You seem to be getting loud over here so I thought I"d check to see what all the commotion was about." The two boys parted a bit to let the new individual move in between them. " Well you must be the new Eleven rat they let into this school. So just because they couldn't prove you murdered Clovis what makes you think can attend the same place as us huh?" The new boy sneered at Suzaku.

" Listen Russell we're just trying to get my camera replaced. We're not looking for any trouble." one of the two boys pleaded with the now named Russell.

" Did I give you permission to speak you wuss? I didn't think so beside you owe me money anyway so just shut up and watch." Russell ordered the two boys and they looked away meekly knowing Russell could not be reasoned with.

" As for you Monkey boy! What makes a son of some lower class scum think he has the right to be here?"

" I obtained the right to attend this Academy legally. If you have a problem then complain to the principal who gave me permission." Suzaku gave his reason but for some reason this Russell character didn't seem to accept his answer.

" So you thought you could just waltz in here. Man you should curse them for even given you a glimmer of how we live. After I trash ya around a bit you should just stay in the ghetto like the rest of those rats!" Russell said as he started forward. Suzaku readied to defend himself.

" WAIT!" a loud voice stopped everyone and made them turn in the direction the command came from. Suzaku saw Lelouch running towards them and questioned why he was showing up here.

" Oh it's the pretty boy of the Student council. Hehe what are you doing here?" Russell asked his tone insulting Lelouch.

" I'm sorry but I insist you do not fight here. Fighting on campus is strictly prohibited!" Lelouch stated as me moved next to Suzaku.

" From what I hear you don't exactly care much for the rules yourself. Just do your self a favor and walk away cause they ain't nothing a freaking stick like you can do anyway." Russell resumed his advancement towards Suzaku until Lelouch stepped in front of him. Russell sent a glare at Lelouch but wasn't deterred and remained in his way.

" move."

" I can not. This won't be allowed to happen as long as I'm here."

" You know I don't get why every person in this place thinks your the best thing to walk the earth. Because to me your just some lazy wuzz. To think your a sympathizer for these Eleven vermin also. Well let just say I hate you even more!" Russell said as he moved to get into Lelouch face. Suzaku grew worried about what might happen to his friend if this kept up.

" He's not just some Eleven. He's also my friend so I would like it if you would leave him alone." Lelouch didn't even flinch as Russell glared even more but Suzaku noticed Lelouch's fist was shaking whether in rage or fear he couldn't tell.

" Fine then you can share the beating!" Russell sent a fist to Lelouch's gut making him double over in pain and cough.

" Lelouch!" Suzaku moved to help but was stopped by Lelouch himself when he raised his hand telling Suzaku to wait.

" No (cough) It's what he wants ( cough) You can't get involved or he'll use it against you." Lelouch said as he struggled to get back up. However Russell sent a kick to Lelouch's ribs making him drop back to the grass below him.

" Your friend! Are you fucking stupid these apes don't even know the difference. Their just vermin and your saying you'll willing to be friends with them! That makes me sick!" Russell kicked Lelouch once again and was about to go for another until he noticed something moving towards him.

Suzaku decided that enough was enough and moved quickly towards Russell sending a jab towards his stomach. Russell was forced to stagger. He lost his breath for a brief second before getting angry and sent a fist at Suzaku. Suzaku blocked the strike and followed it with a leg swipe at Russells feet knocking him down to the ground. Getting on top of Russell Suzaku sent a couple of jabs towards his chin but stopped when he noticed the boy was now unconscious and bruised. Letting out a sigh Suzaku relaxed as he got up and moved to where Lelouch was at.

" Here." Suzaku offered Lelouch his hand and helped his friend up.

" Thanks. I'm sorry I didn't stop anything from happening." Lelouch apologized as he dusted the dirt off of himself.

" It's fine but I'm more worried about you. Are you alright?" Suzaku asked concerned if his old friend was injured on his account.

" I'm good. But warn me next time you decide to pick a fight. I might need to wear a vest." Lelouch joked while he barley touched his sore stomach wincing a little form the bruise that would no doubt form.

"Oh Lelouch are you alright? We saw the whole thing!" The four boys still standing all turned this time to see Shirley leading the other student council members and a few other students towards them.

" Ah man it's the student council! If they tell the principal we might get expelled along with Russell lets bail!" The two boys from earlier then took off in the opposite direction just as the group led by Shirley showed up.

" Hey you two get back here! We need you to answer some questions... Hey I'm ordering you to stop!" Milly yelled as she pointed at the two fleeing the scene but they either didn't hear or just ignored her. " Ohh I can't wait to get my hands on those two!"

" Man Milly sounds pretty scary when she's like this." Rivalz said as he moved towards Suzaku and Lelouch. He stopped by Lelouch's side and noticed the person on the ground with a bruised face. " Yikes, he looks bad. I know most people didn't like Russell all that much but you can't help for feeling a little bad for the guy."

" Lelouch are you alright? You're not hurt are you?" Shirley said as she moved next to Lelouch and looked him over.

Suzaku just watched as Lelouch simply smiled and waved off her worries as he kept a hand to his injury. " I'm fine. But what are all of you guys doing here?"

" Well Nunally called us and she was worried something had happened to you since you startled her. We started to ask around if anyone had seen you and wouldn't you know the first group of people we asked was Kallen and Sophie and they saw you run down this way." Milly pointed behind her at the two people that followed them over. Suzaku noticed Lelouch looking towards a girl with bright red hair and smile at her making the girl look away quickly. Suzaku was curious about what that was about but just chalked it up to Lelouch good looks having an effect on her.

" So do you two know each other or something?" Kallen asked the two and Suzaku noticed they were both quiet for a second.

"... Well I..." Suzaku was trying to answer but was struggling with the words. He didn't want any problems that might reveal Lelouch's secret.

"But he's an Eleven..." The girl known as Nina was looking at Suzaku with suspension and fear. Suzaku was opting to just leave everyone to avoid a situation again when he noticed Lelouch walk next to him.

" He's my friend. Madam President I have a favor to ask?" Suzaku was quiet shocked at what Lelouch had just said without evening faltering in this statement. " All students are required to join a club. So if you would allow it then will you permit him to join the student council please. We have a few positions valuable right."

"Hmmm..." Milly seemed to ponder for a bit while she put a hand on her chin. " Well you are the vice president so it looks like I have no choice."

" Thank you. Everyone this is my friend Suzaku Kururgi." Lelouch introduced Suzaku to the student council. Everyone was quiet for awhile until Shirley looked around and decided to go first as stepped up.

" Well I'm Shirley it's nice to meet you."

" I'm Rivalz."

" Milly Ashford your Student Council president."

" um... I'm Nina."

" I'm Kallen."

Suzaku couldn't help but smile as they introduced themselves and miraculously seemed to warming up to him all on Lelouch declaration that he was his friend. " It's good to meet you all and Thanks."

" Yeah so lets celebrate on getting another new member. Everything is on the new guy of course."

" Oh back off Rivalz!"

" What about Russell?"

" Don't worry my grandfather already knows, so campus security will take care of him. In fact there they are now."

It was time for the final moments of Clovis' memorial as a result every student and facility member were now standing row by row in the main auditorium. Lelouch knew everyone around him were all focusing on the main screen they had set up in front of everyone. The screen was showing the casket of Prince Clovis which had been shipped all the way to the Britannian homeland. He made a quick attempt to locate any of his friends and found only Shirley who was only a couple of rows in front of him. A few minutes later he also noticed Suzaku who was just a couple people off to his left.

" And now for the 98th Emperor of the Holy Britannian Empire."

When that one sentence was brought up Lelouch looked up towards the screen. When the emperor finally made his way to the stage Lelouch could only glare as the man made his way to the podium in front of Prince Clovis casket. The man looked over at the rows of people under his rule whether it was at the funeral service or through the camera connected to every screen across the empire. The Emperor raised a fist into the air and as if to add power to his already effective words.

"ALL HAIL BRITANNIA! "

As if drawn by some mystical power every soldier saluted the emperor. Their voice's sounded like chorus that could heard around the world to Lelouch's ears.

"ALL HAIL BRITANNIA! ALL HAIL BRITANNIA! ALL HAIL BRITANNIA!"

Lelouch knew these words were having a different effect on the people around him, even more so on his friends. However even with all of that in mind Lelouch wasn't even focusing on that as he kept looking at the man on the screen in front of him. He growled quietly to himself when a few students joined in the chant adding to his anger building up inside him. If a look could kill Lelouch was imagining taking the Epyon's whip and burning the man for what he stood for.

( He has the gall to speak about evolution when he caused nothing but suffering! What about Nunnally is she just going to be left behind? I won't allow that to happen, I cut down that kind of world myself!) It was the only thought that fueled his mind.

Unbeknownst to him however was the fact that Shirley was now looking over her shoulder at Lelouch. She quickly noticed his eyes giving off the most hated glare towards the emperors direction. The look was scaring her for she had never seen Lelouch display such a look in all the time she had known the boy . ( Lu Lu I have never seen him look like that before, so angry. What is the matter Lu Lu?)

As Lelouch stares at the symbol of hatred that is his father he must now prepare to face his new foe. His own sister Cornelia the Witch of Britannia who he must now face on the battle field. With what he has learned about his two most powerful weapons Lelouch believes he is ready but the future will have something more in store for him. OK well that took forever for me and I'm glad it's out of the way so can get back to work. Life been a little hellish for me but we've all been there so I like to take some time to answer your question.

1. No. Trowa does not becoming a student. But he will be hanging out at the school from time to time. Trust me on this.

2. Zech has not lost his memory he's just confused. I am having him join Lelouch later on to get some training into Lelouch because to be honest. He needs it badly.

3. I can't tell y'all about Euphy I've been debating over that subject for a while. A couple of my fellow writers and friends convince me to keep her alive. To be honest I can't stand her naive behavior and I was sadden by her death in the series but didn't really care much afterward. It sure gave Suzaku a reason to kill Zero/Lelouch which I thought made the fighting interesting. I haven't decide to kill her just thought I mention it's in the air.

4. The relationship for Lelouch is not set in stone but its between C.C, Kallen, and Shirley. No Sumergai in the long run I mean she cute and important for the story but I don't think writing Loli is right in my opinion but I will throw some stuff in there to make sure she's not ignored. If you are wondering which girl I prefer and I know you are (sarcasm), I prefer Kallen because I like how tough she acts but can get easily embarrassed by certain situations. Another fact I like about her is how I thought she was crushing on the mysterious guy with a mask. However I don't want this story bogged down by romance to where it takes focus off the main plot. I will throw in mushy stuff from time to time and most likely its going to be a love triangle which will have to be balanced out.

5. Last one what is Lelouch doing with the Epyon. I guess what I think he would do is first try to understand the weapon's capabilities then it's draw backs. Then find of means of maintenance for the weapon and possibly provide repairs in case of heavy damage. Last is to find counter measures in case he runs into similar weapons in the future.

Well I found that helps. I going to release Chapter 10 and 11 in pairs to make for lost time. I hope that makes up for it. If this chapter wasn't to your liking then we can always fix it later but for now lets march on to the next one. Strange Kid sighing off.
