Tyson and Hilary both woke up together, smiling as they turned to face each other. They shared a quick little kiss before getting out of bed and changing into their normal clothing, Tyson fastening his beyblade holster to his sleeve as he put his launcher and rip-chord in his back pocket.
A voice entered the room. "Ah, I was just about to wake you two up."
Tyson smiled and faced the door. "Hey, Max. How's Kenny doing?"
"He's still resting up a bit after last night. Want me to go and wake him up?"
"Well, we need all of the help that we can get," Tyson shrugged. "Just because Boris has Dizzi now doesn't mean that Kenny's completely useless."
"Is everyone else up?" Hilary asked.
"Yeah," Max confirmed. "Daichi's just finishing getting ready, and Kai and Ray are waiting downstairs with Mr. Dickenson."
Tyson sealed the holster for his blade. "Let's get going then."
Max nodded, walking a few feet to his left to open Kenny's bedroom door, seeing him putting on his glasses just after finishing tying his tie up, turning to see Max at his bedroom door and smiling.
"Came to wake me up, huh?" he asked.
"Well, the final battle does start in an hour, and you were up all night on your laptop again," Max replied with a harmless grin.
"Just not in the way that I'd like to be," Kenny replied. "I can safely say that I never had 'make Dizzi a power source for the bad guys' as one of my immediate plans."
"You weren't doing it on purpose," Max reassured him. "It was to protect us from Boris. You had a good reason, so don't feel so guilty."
Kenny hung his head a bit. "Unfortunately, the rest of the world could be a target now because of what I did."
"We'll stop him, all right?" the blonde said. "Now, get out of your grumpy stage. What's done is done, and you can't change it if you keep moping around."
"It only happened last night," Kenny said. "And I can't put it past me if I'm not fighting out there. What good am I without Dizzi?"
"You're just as good without her as you are with her," Hilary interjected. "I know that it only happened last night, but Max is right. You can't be so down in the dumps. You need to focus, okay? Dizzi will be okay. She's a stubborn one."
Kenny sighed a breath and nodded. "You're right." He looked at the blonde blader. "I'm sorry, Max. I just don't want her to suffer too much because of me."
Max nodded in understanding. "No need to apologise. Now come on. We've got to get our butts moving."
Kenny chuckled, following the others as they headed down the stairs, with Daichi just ahead of them as they reached Kai and Ray, seeing them stood next to the limousine with their arms crossed as they waited.
"You took your time," Ray said with a playful grin.
"Had to get Kenny to be motivated enough to get out of bed," Max dryly replied.
"I don't blame him," Ray pointed out. "Those hotel beds are really comfy. I might book me and Mariah into a hotel like this for when we get married, but I'm also thinking about going back home to spend it with her there."
"Eh, you'll cross that bridge when you come to it," Tyson said. "For now, let's keep our minds focused on the tournament. Remember, we're against BEGA."
"You say that like that's the least of our worries," Hilary joked. "Even I know how tough BEGA is, and I don't even blade for you guys."
"If you did, you'd probably kick their asses," Max said. "You might be inexperienced, but you'd have an unpredictability advantage."
"Stranger things have happened," Kai said. "Like that time Daichi defeated Tala."
"Or when me and Max first bladed and he won," Tyson said, looking at his blonde friend. "This sly dude gave off the impression that he wasn't much in a fight, but I got served complete with silver platter when we first fought."
Max shrugged. "What can I say? Defence is the best offence to me. I just turned your offence against you is all."
"Heck, you did it to me once in that weird king of the hill battle before we were a team," Kai said. "You used a reverse launch. That's still one of the coolest things I've ever seen in a bey battle."
"Do you think that I could use it against BEGA?" Max chuckled. "That'd sure throw them off."
"Use it on Mystel," Tyson pointed out. "For such an unpredictable guy, I think that a reverse launch would catch him fully off-guard."
"Well, let's wait until we get there to test that out," Max said. "I don't know if a reverse launch would help with the laser-guided system in my launcher. I think that that's more used to the more orthodox stuff."
"Hey, it hasn't steered you wrong before," Hilary smiled. "Nobody blades quite like you."
"I don't think that anybody blades like any of us," said Daichi. "I've gotten more control since the last tournament, but I know that I was really reckless. Remember when I used to blame stuff as lame as the sun being in my eyes and the ground shaking and throwing me off?"
"If you think that you were reckless, you should have seen Tyson back in the old days," said Kenny. "He was just straight up offence, and oddly enough, he didn't lose. Until he met Kai, that is."
Kai then chuckled. "My blading style hasn't changed, but I used to be the leader of a beyblade gang who got to keep the blades of the people that we beat. I'm glad to see that that's changed."
"From street-smart thief to beyblading world champion..." Tyson chuckled. "I can see the headlines right now."
"I wasn't street smart. I'd say that you had that advantage back then, Tyson," Kai smirked.
"Doesn't change the fact that you kicked my ass the first time." Tyson smiled. "Then I got my bit-beast, and it all changed."
"It was a draw the second time," Kai pointed out. "You didn't actually beat me until the tournament itself."
Kenny smiled. "Even when we got you on our side, you were still cold and distant."
The Dranzer blader shrugged. "I guess that my time in Russia has really helped me to come out of my shell."
"Kind of ironic how being in Russia helped Kai warm up a little bit more," Ray pointed out with a chuckle.
"Home is where the heart is, after all," Kai said. "Speaking of which, it's good that your old clan could make it to the tournament, losses aside, of course."
Ray sighed a little. "Thanks. I just kind of wish that they won, but they're still around, which is good."
"By around, do you mean about Boris not locking them up in who knows where to do who knows what to them?" Hilary asked.
"That, and my impending marriage to Mariah." Ray's eyes then opened up a bit. "I can't wait for this tournament to be over so that we can set a date."
"Not being pressured, are you?" Daichi asked.
"By Mariah and others? Nope. Mostly it's just me," Ray said. "I guess that I just want to take down Boris as fast as possible. The sooner that he's gone, the sooner that we can all get on with our lives."
"With Doctor K and Barthez with him, that won't be easy," said Kenny.
"And now that they've got Dizzi, it could prove to be harder than ever," Tyson added. "We just have to wait on the info from Mr. D's friend in the police."
"Do you think that they'll lead us straight to Boris?" Max asked.
"I'm hoping so." Tyson sighed. "I just wish that we could find him already."
"We will," said Max. "For now, we just have to fight on. BEGA's our next big test, so we should worry about them."
"When it comes to BEGA, I'm already worried," Daichi said.
"Don't be," Tyson reassured his friend. "They don't mess around, but neither do we. We can't. Especially now." He then took a breath. "And if not to beat them, then to beat Boris. I don't care if we lose; I just don't want Boris to win." The world champion then grinned. "I don't care what kind of army he has; they're not us. We've beaten who he's got captured time and again, and if we have to do it once more, then bring it on. I'm not going to fall to them, and I'm sure as hell not going to fall to Boris."
"Neither are we," Max said, smiling.
The rest all agreed too, the rest of the journey going by in silence before they arrived at the Beyblade arena. As they all left the car, they walked a few feet ahead before turning back to the car.
"Aren't you coming with us, Mr. D?" Hilary asked.
"I actually need to head to the police station," replied the chairman. "I've got to take this evidence down there. After that, I'll try to make it back here as soon as I can." The car then started to drive off, and Dickenson waved goodbye. "Good luck!"
"You too!" replied Tyson, also waving goodbye with the rest of his team.
"Why do we need this evidence anyway?" Daichi asked. "We know what Boris is up to, thanks to Kenny."
Kai spoke up before Tyson could. "Because if we tell people what we know now, they'll think that we're crazy, and Boris could kick us out of the tournament. We can't risk that, especially not when we're so close."
"I just hope that what we got was enough to tie Boris to it," said Kenny. "I couldn't take any pictures with Dizzi because I was pretty much at their mercy when they had me. If I did, they would have known about it."
"Then let's just keep playing it safe," said Ray. "Boris will get his eventually, but for now, let's just try to take it easy. It's been hectic enough lately, and we don't need any more stuff to worry over."
The others nodded before walking into the building, noticing the security guards there using metal detectors as everyone walked in. Neither team nor spectator were exempt from the rule, and everyone was scanned as they went in, including the Bladebreakers.
"Damn..." said Max as he was finished being scanned. "The security's tighter than usual. I know that it's the last battle of the tournament and all, but still."
"They're employed by Boris now," Kai pointed out as he was the next to get scanned. "We might not like the guy, but you can't deny that he's put quite a lot of time into this."
"And it's all for us," Tyson said. "No red carpet, though. Kinda sucks."
"Boris isn't exactly the type of guy to roll out the welcome mat," said Kenny. "Just because he put the work into it doesn't make us special, or any other team for that matter."
"Good point," said Daichi. "But if BEGA walks out on a red carpet or at least takes a helicopter, I get to wear your glasses for ten seconds."
Kenny chuckled. "Deal."
He and Daichi then shook hands before they all proceeded through the nearest corridor, following the signs as they head for their locker room, which had the team's name written in black on the front of a red door.
"Ooh, they're getting fancy on us now," said Hilary.
"Wonder what's inside," Tyson chuckled as he opened the door.
The set-up inside of the locker room looked a little different. All of the small lockers, should the teams ever need to use them, were stacked well on top of each other, the room's walls had a fresh coat of charcoal-grey paint, and the bey-dish in the middle of the room for warm-ups and practising was now a lot larger.
"It's even fancier on the inside," Hilary said, adding on to her previous statement.
"Boris probably wants to lull us into a false sense of security," Ray said. "When it gets to the battles, something tells me that it won't be so fancy."
"Well, yeah," Tyson shrugged. "We're against BEGA. It's not like it'd be a pretty sight either way."
"At least we'll get some clean bey-battles from them," Max said. "They were never the type to fight dirty, which is good."
Tyson nodded. "Come on. Let's get some practise in."
Hilary smiled then turned on the TV that hung up on the wall ten feet away from the sofa that herself and Kenny had decided to take residence upon for the time being, and the channel that popped up was a bunch of younger beybladers battling each other who had decent amateur experience, but not enough to be pros.
The arena, much like the locker rooms, also looked different; there was more lighting now, and the bey-dish was now much larger, and the design of the arena had several pillars surrounding the entryway which Boris would appear through.
"Lot of potential in them," said Kenny as he watched. "It's nice that the crowd gets warmed up by this."
"Who knows? Maybe one of them could be the next champion," Hilary suggested.
"As long as that tournament gets run by somebody that we can actually trust, I'm all for it," said Tyson before looking at Max. "Ready to get your practise in, buddy?"
"You know it," the blonde blader replied with a grin, launching his blade along with his friend.
Meanwhile, in BEGA's locker room...
"Oof... good shot," said Garland. "I actually felt that one, and I'm not even blading."
Brooklyn chuckled as he sat next to his white-haired friend. "Ming-Ming might be small, but we're all as strong as each other, I say."
"Eh, I think that Crusher might have a more physical advantage in strength," Mystel said idly next to the other two.
"Who would you guys say is the quickest?" asked Brooklyn.
"That's a close one, but I'd have to say Mystel," Garland said. "He's also got the most experience, despite being the second youngest after Ming-Ming."
"Crusher's got the best launcher, though," said Mystel. "I like my slingshot and Garland's got his tonfa club, but the dude uses a gigantic cannon. That's just awesome."
"What about my little crossbow thing?" Brooklyn asked, mocking being insulted.
"That's also awesome, but..." Mystel shrugged, not able to think of much else to say. "I mean, come on, giant cannon."
Crusher and Ming-Ming called their blades back to their hands, walking over to their friends on the couch before the larger blader spoke up. "You guys want to put on some TV?"
"Eh, why not," Garland shrugged. "We've still got some time yet."
Brooklyn grabbed the remote and turned the TV on, smiling with the rest of his team as they saw the young kids blading, much like the Bladebreakers were earlier. The team kicked back as they watched before the rather upbeat music playing for the children slowed to a stop, and Boris rose from his usual elevator, applauding the children as the audience did as well, cheering for them.
"Let's hear it for our talented warm-up bladers!" Boris said as the kids all respectfully shook hands, walking their separate ways before Boris spoke again. "Now, let's get to the real reason why we're all here." He then cleared his throat. "Today is the final match of the tournament, and what a match it will be as returning champions, the Bladebreakers, battle against the combined might of Team BEGA!"
The crowd cheered again, and Brooklyn grinned to himself. "He's really getting the crowd pumped for this."
"I am looking forward to it as much as all of you amazing fans are!" Boris bellowed. "So, without any further ado, let's bring our teams out! First, the challengers! Wielding the powers of ancient gods, and being one of the strongest, most refined blading teams ever, please give a round of applause for... Team BEGA!"
"Looks like we're up," said Brooklyn, getting up.
The others followed suit, getting up from the seat and following their red-haired leader out of the corridor and into the main arena itself, instantly greeted with the adoring screams of the fans and the bright lights of the arena as the team waved and smiled at the crowd before going to sit at their bench.
"What a welcome that was!" Boris said. "But now, let's welcome Team BEGA's opponents! They've been champions for a very long time, and they're one of the best teams to have ever existed, having single-handedly moved the very sport of Beyblading forwards by leaps and bounds ever since their inception! Ladies and gentleman, you did it for BEGA, so please give a very warm welcome back to the Bladebreakers!"
Brooklyn smiled and watched as he saw the familiar face of Tyson walk out of the other end of the arena, followed closely by his friends as the crowd loudly cheered for them, the team themselves waving and smiling for the audience.
Boris then smiled and spoke. "Well, it looks like you're all certainly happy that the teams are back!"
He then snapped his fingers, and four holographic screens appeared, each appearing around Boris so that the audience could see as pictures of all of both of the teams' members appeared, and a red square appeared over the Bladebreakers while a blue one appeared of BEGA before the squares themselves shrunk down, closing in on the two combatants that would fight.
"Our first battle is..." Boris announced, steadily waiting for the squares to stop moving. "Ray from the Bladebreakers against Garland from BEGA!"
"And what a battle this will turn out to be!" said Brad, smiling at his cue to speak. "Hello, fans in the arena and watching at home! I'm Brad Best, along with my partner AJ Topper, and what a treat we have coming your way!"
"Oh man, I don't that think I've been as stoked for any match as I am for this one, Brad!" AJ replied. "Team BEGA against the Bladebreakers itself is awesome, but the fact that the first two bladers are Garland and Ray respectively just adds more excitement!"
"No doubt about it!" said Brad. "I'm not going to argue with you, and neither are the fans!"
"And just look at our bladers!" AJ exclaimed. "These are two of the toughest and most confident bladers that we've ever had!"
The noise of the audience only served to grow louder as Ray and Garland stepped up to the dish before walking around the side to exchange a respectful handshake, both nodding at each other.
"May the best man win," said Ray.
"Likewise," replied Garland, he and Ray then going back to their ends of the dish.
"What a good show of respect from these two!" said Brad as the two bladers prepared their launchers. "That'll make the fans happy!"
"Not as happy as this dish makes me!" AJ replied. "This is a good one!"
"What do we have, AJ?" asked Brad.
"Today we have the cruise dish! This one is pretty much a gigantic luxury ship, but our bladers had better not kick back and try to catch a tan, or they'll wind up going overboard!"
"Let's see who gets dragged into deep waters first!" Brad followed on. "Will it be Ray, the cool and collected Bladebreaker with his mighty Driger bit-beast? Or will it be Garland, the equally as collected but no less dangerous member of Team BEGA and his powerful Apollon bit-beast!"
"I don't know, Brad!" AJ said, growing more excited. "All I know is that I can't wait to find out!"
Boris grinned. "Bladers, ready?" He then started the countdown. "3... 2... 1... LET IT RIP!"
"Let's go, Driger!" Ray shouted.
"Go, Apollon!" Garland shouted back.
Both beyblades met on the bow of the ship, clashing against each other and breaking away, circling each other before slamming once more, again breaking away from the blow to continue circling each other.
"They're both playing aggressive and smart," said Kenny. "It's pretty even so far."
Hilary nodded. "Yeah, but Ray can take this one."
Tyson chuckled. "That's my girl."
"Eh, I'm a team player," Hilary shrugged.
Back at the dish, the two blades had moved further up the ship, slamming into each other on occasion before locking in a grinding battle, neither side giving an inch until Ray's eyes flashed and he noticed Garland's blade a bit off-balance, so he took advantage and willed Driger to slam Apollon hard.
"What a hit from Ray!" Brad said from the booth. "He noticed Garland's minor slip up and took advantage instantly!"
"Ray's always been quick on the draw, which is no surprise," AJ added, "but I'm wondering why Garland messed up. Even the tiniest flinch can cause the biggest shot, and he knows that better than anybody!"
"What's the matter, Garland?" Ray asked. "Pressure getting to you?"
Garland chuckled. "It's the battle for the title, what do you think?" Apollon then slammed into Driger again as he spoke. "Aren't you nervous too? A returning champion who's had eight years out of the game... you can't tell me that you're not a little nervous, can you?"
Ray shook his head and laughed. "Nope, I can't. But that just makes it more exciting, doesn't it?"
"I can't deny that!" the BEGA blader replied. "Apollon, keep the pressure on him!"
"Stand your ground, Driger!"
Both blades continued to spin and slam against each other before finding themselves at the very back of the ship, which was at first difficult to see for both of them, but after shifting from where they were standing, the issue was rendered moot.
The bladers looked to see their weapons grinding against each other harshly, sparks and some chips of paint flying around before both broke away, landing perfectly on the railing on the edge of the cruise liner, each on opposite sides of each other before moving up to clash once again, breaking away from each other before going to the left side of the railing to continued the fight there.
"You know, if that was the right kind of ship, you'd almost think that this was a pirate battle!" said Brad.
"Well, it's as close as we'll get, so it's good enough for me!" AJ said. "And plus, if you want to get technical, Ray and Garland are using blades to battle each other!"
Both blades then moved away from each other on the railing, each moving to their own ends that were close to their bladers, and then both moved forward instantly, hopping up in the middle of the railing and slicing against each other in mid-air before both landed perfectly on the railings, now on opposite sides.
"What a cool move by both bladers!" said AJ. "It just shows how even these two are so far!"
"True enough, AJ, but the main question now is whether or not they'll unleash their bit-beasts!" Brad replied.
"Well, as long as the two keep things exciting, that's all that matters to me!"
Ray chuckled. 'Sounds like the fans are enjoying this...' he said in his mind, his eyes then turning serious. 'Let's make this a good one!' His thoughts became real words with his next sentence. "Go get him, Driger!"
The former White Tiger's beyblade moved quickly, hopping off of the railing and onto the main floor of the boat before gliding along it, hopping up at the right moment to blind-side Apollon, striking hard and causing it to wobble a bit, forcing it to hop onto the boat to join its opponent.
"That was a good shot..." said Garland to Ray. "I'll do you one better. Apollon, attack!"
On command, Garland's beyblade moved quickly, matching Driger's speed as it slammed into its white tiger opponent, knocking it hard enough that it bounced off of the other side of the railing before coming back, only to be greeted with another huge slam.
On command, Garland's beyblade moved quickly, matching Driger's speed as it slammed into its white tiger opponent, knocking it hard enough that it bounced off of the other side of the railing before coming back, only to be greeted with another huge slam, causing the two to grind against each other roughly.
"Grr... dammit..." Ray muttered, forced to put an arm over his head to cover himself. "I've got to find a way out of this one..."
"Had enough yet?" Garland asked with a wide grin.
The left side of Ray's mouth curled up. "Not quite yet..."
Before Garland could reply, Driger used what little space it had to push back a little bit and land a precise hit on Apollon. It didn't have a lot of power to it, but it did just enough for Driger to escape and get to a better position.
Luckily, Ray managed to spot it. "Driger, climb to the top of the boat!"
"Apollon, don't let him get away!" Garland replied.
Both blades made it up to the top of the boat quickly, Apollon following closely behind Driger as they reached it. Luckily, it was spacious enough to make a good getaway if need be, and there was enough room to circle around each other as well as the bladers themselves would hope to look for an advantage.
"And now both of our bladers have moved to the top of the boat!" said Brad. "What do you think the strategy is to this if there is any, AJ?"
"If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say to just keep doing what they're doing," AJ replied. "Their match has been very aggressive, that does without saying, but one thing that people are missing is how precise the two have been, and it's starting to wear on them!"
Ray took a few breaths before smiling. "This is a... good match... so far..."
Garland breathed out a bit too. "I agree... let's keep this up... for the fans..." He caught his breath a bit before speaking normally. "Apollon, attack!"
"Go get him, Driger! Let's win this one!"
Both beyblades rushed forward into action, instantly clashing again, still remaining on top of the boat as they ground harshly against each other, neither one giving the other an advantage as the intensity continued to grow, the two bladers screaming as their fight continued.
"Whoa! Can you feel that energy, folks?" Brad said. "Another dose of that, and I'd be knocked out of my seat!"
"Without a doubt, Brad!" AJ replied. "Ray and Garland are certainly giving it their all now! I know that it's a redundant phrase to say, but you can tell that they both want that first win really badly!"
Ray grinned at his opponent, silently willing Driger to break away before the blader himself thrust a fist forward, causing Driger to re-engage in the battle, pushing hard after taking its small break, the stamina surprising Garland.
"Huh... you've still got a lot of energy in you, huh?" the BEGA blader asked, slowly growing more exhausted.
"Hey... I'm about as willing to give up as you are..." Ray answered, also panting.
"So, not at all, then?" Garland grinned.
Ray smiled. "You're damn right..." He then stood up straight. "Driger, let's end this now! Thunder Slash!"
"Apollon, Radiant Thunder!"
Ray's Driger rose from its beyblade as its attack was commanded, the blade itself surrounded by green lightning that spun around it before combining with the beyblade, making it glow a brilliant green colour as Driger itself opened its mouth in a loud roar, preparing for what could be the final blow on Apollon.
During Driger's attack, Apollon burst forth from its own beyblade, letting out an ear-piercing screech as its golden wings glowed brightly with bright yellow electricity, its wings spread proudly as it met Driger in the middle of the top of the boat, creating a spiral of green and yellow lightning to spill and pour out as the blades finally connected, causing the spiral to turn into a massive flash of light, causing audience and bladers alike to cover their eyes.
"Damn... it's so bright!" said Tyson, waiting for the light to die down. "Are we good yet?"
After a few seconds, Max spoke. "Yeah, we're good. The light's gone."
Tyson lowered his arm, and saw both Ray and Garland damn near collapsed on the floor, with the former kneeling in an upright position and the latter also kneeling, along with having his hands pressed to the floor to keep himself from falling.
Boris got a close look at the dish, seeing that the cruise ship was broken into pieces from the strike, and seeing that Apollon was still spinning a little bit before wobbling and spinning to a stop on its side, whereas Driger was still upright.
"Apollon has fallen inside of the dish, which means that Ray is the winner of this one!"
The White Tiger weakly raised his arms up in victory before falling backwards, smiling happily. "I... did... it..."
"Whoo-hoo!" said Daichi as he rushed over, followed by the others as they picked Ray up. "You did it, Ray!"
"Man, you had me worried there!" Tyson added.
Ray chuckled. "Eh, it was all worth it..."
Kai walked past Ray to pick up his beyblade as well as Garland's, who had stood up, seeing the blue-haired blader walking towards him before he spoke. "Thanks," said Garland, taking his blade from Kai.
"You put up a great fight," Kai said.
"Great is an understatement," said Ray, panting. "Garland, it was an honour to battle with you." He put a hand forward.
"As it was with you," the white-haired BEGA blader replied. "But don't think that I'll go so easy on you with the rematch."
"Wouldn't bet on it."
The two parted ways, Kai giving Ray his beyblade back as they went back over to sit on their seat, Garland doing the same as he went over to his team, who all welcomed him back with smiles.
"That was a damn good fight, man," Mystel said.
Garland smiled. "I know. It felt... good. I don't think that I've had that much fun in a bey-battle since I fought Tyson way back when."
"Ladies and gentlemen, without further ado, we'll announce our next match!" Boris said, somewhat interrupting BEGA's conversation as the screens from earlier popped up, the faces of Ray and Garland blacked out as they had already fought. "Our next battle will be... Max from the Bladebreakers against Crusher from BEGA!"
Max sighed a bit. "Man... I was really hoping for that rematch with Mystel, but this'll have to do me, I guess." He stood up and started walking to the dish.
Tyson smiled. "Good luck, dude."
"Thanks."
Crusher stood up also, cracking his knuckles and walking over to the dish before he heard Mystel's voice call his name, causing him to turn around. "Yes?"
"Remember, he's a defensive blader," the mask-wearing blader said.
Crusher nodded. "I know. But I won't treat him any differently to how I've treated my other matches."
Brooklyn then nodded. "Good luck, friend."
"Thank you."
The largest member of BEGA then took a deep breath as he walked to the dish, joining his blond opponent and looking over at him as the two waited eagerly for the match to start, both of them knowing that the next match was probably the most important of the whole tournament.
And there you have it, folks! I'm sorry that it took longer than normal, but it wound up becoming a bigger chapter than I had intended, so on the bright side there's more to read. Also, in good news, my Internet is supposed to be sorted by March, which is oddly coincidental because that's when I plan to finish this story, depending on if any further issues arrive. Anyway, I hope that you all enjoyed this one, and I'll see you all next time. Stay tuned.
